It's called "The Survivors Rulebook For Killer, Complete Edition."
Ah many survivors have reccomend that to me after I got a 4k with 0 gens being completed, but my local library doesn't have it.
-
@Shocktober said:
Hate to burst your bubble, but legion is probably the easiest killer in the game to pip on.
And yet he's getting a 4k against red ranks???
-
All I do is 3 gen Trapper with Corrupt Intervention, Surge, Pop goes the Weasel and Save the Best for last.
Use add ons to increase the amount of traps you can carry.
Watch as they fail to get the last gen.
-
I'd be fine with it if you couldnt use any belt add ons, but you can, meaning at once you can have 3 instant down hatchets.
-
Ok, I'll give you two builds. The meta Legion build and my build.
The meta Legion build that I usually see is a slow down build.
Thanataphobia as he gets easy hits.
Dying light to make them even slower.
Sloppy Butcher so they take longer to heal.
Usually BBQ or Monitor so they can find people to hit.
My Legion build is...interesting to most?
Discordance to find multiple people to hit at once (will replace for BBQ soon as it might not be useful in this patch).
Enduring to get out of my power quickly.
Hex: Ruin as hitting survivors with Feral frenzy forces them to mend.
And the suprsing one
Make your choice. Many people will do nothing for those 60 seconds knowing they're exposed, and often if they do anything, you can capitalize.
-
I only have one survivor achievement and a few killer achievements left!
-
Me and my mates find it fine. Yet to be disconnected again their will.

By what unit of metric do you determine that the game is losing all these killers?
I get games quickly as survivor but have to wait for my killer games.
See how anecdotal subjective talking points work?
You know before this game went to servers, I would see 2/3 survivors for every 1 killer looking for games. You NEVER had the inverse, of too many survivors.
Rank 1 survivor huh?
Wanna hear a story:
Tru3 (streamer) made rank 1 survivor at release. During the ENTIRE time he progressed he went on and on about how survivors are supposed to play 'sneaky sneak', that you weren't supposed to interact with the killer etc. What anyone with half a brain now realises is that sneaky sneak is BORING. If the whole emergent 'juking' phenomena hadn't taken off, survivors would have left this game LONG ago.
The point being is Tru3 is a killer main, his talking points are tribalistic and biased. Tru3 is one of the PROBLEMS in this game currently, especially with him whining, now that killers have gotten some push back. Despite his regular 4k's, despite the metric that's made killer easier to date.
I and many others suffer from the complete opposite. Usually I have to wait 5-10 minutes as a survivor but for a killer I usually have to wait less than a minute.
Tru3 is extremely biased and I don't like him that much. If he's losing he blames it on swf and says they need a nerf rather than accepting he makes mistake after mistake after mistake.
As for his play style I completely disagree with it. For me I try to know the actions of as much of my team mates at all times. Empathy or aftercare do this well for me.
I often use spinechill or OoO to position myself correctly too. He however is correct at many times, although sometimes goes too far.
-
If keys are removed, moris should be removed. If this happens then keys should have some nerfs.
-
Can you explain what you mean by low rank nurses?

Noed has been a controversial perk for quite a while and I've been thinking of ways BHVR could change it to " balance " it.
Instead of being able to one shot ALL survivors, make it to where only survivors that have gone unhooked will have the exposed effect. Keeping the speed boost obviously or maybe even slightly increasing it for more versatility against survivors who have already been hooked.
This was just an idea I've had, so please tell me what you guys think.
I love this idea, gives an extra boost to the killer in eg for performing well but not being able to completely finish the job.
The change that I want for it is that it has 30 seconds of use, and each time you hook a survivor you increase this time by 15 seconds.
-
Sorry for being late to the updated version!
First of all I really like the lore, has alot too it and explains his looks too
I love the power still, great to see some add ons to which also seem balanced.
Glad to see you changed better alone to not include healing. Much better that way.
Nowhere to run should either not count dropped pallets, or should only effect the survivor who unhooked the hooked survivor, as if it wasn't like this it would promote tunneling of the hook and could be a bit too strong.
I like Hex: Skilled Illusion. It reminds me of old Ruin but more balanced. This is pretty balanced.
As for the survivor I'm glad you gave a description of her looks like the killer, and it seems it would be fine.
Painless risk seems fine as the killer can just vault the window, although I think it should apply the deep wound status effect too.
Helpful Aura Should be lowered a bit, to something like 15/30/45 seconds. I think 60 seconda might be too long.
Blow Up Malfunction seems like a fine perk, like Red Herring it's meant to trick the killer into going somewhere else giving you more time.
Finally the map, from what you mentioned its much different to The Thompson house, or really any of the Coldwind maps in general.
I'd really like to see this in dbd! Hopefully the devs can look at this as inspiration!
-
Although I'd love if you could check for their name, some people would start to right down who plays what.
For example, they might right down 'CheersTC plays Hillbilly' and then that person sees my name and uses an anti Hillbilly build.
Maybe it should hide names for survivors instead?
-
I think he gets the same amount of blood, but the amount of times you see Oni and No mither in the same match is tiny
-
Its wierd because I love playing as and against Hillbilly but I hate playing as and against Oni.

Nice bait calling this bait :)
or you must be bad at playing killer
Certain killers have too much capability of being too efficient. Especially high mobility. Solo play isn’t playable. Hell if you don’t have 3 other coordinated teammates it’s unplayable. I think the loops can be ridiculous but that only accounts for what.... a small portion of the map? The other 90% of the map is killer sided? I spawn in sometimes and see a pallet every 20-30 steps or so. Maps are shrinking and loops are getting taken away. Yeah I’d rather not play anymore. Killers that don’t need buffs get buffs.
Still bait? And guess what I am??? A solo player because the rest of my mates play PC or Playstation!

Your post is like one of those out of context vid clips, thats supposed to emotionally trigger people to action who don't have the capacity to step back and analyse.
In other words, ignoring the fact that killers are up around 70% kills as of November stats and the devs have had to push back on that based on their own metrics '2 escapes, 2 kills'. The metrics of which have made killer easier now then at any point in the history of the game.
Try your analysis again.
And what did they nerf because of that??? Ruin, and up until now as they've been losing oh so many killers, they recognised that they had to give them a buff or they are just going to quit.
It's also wierd a rank 1 survivor is killer minded, isn't it? Or maybe I'm unbiased and I track every single game I play and put them into stats to see my survival rate against killers.

The game isn’t survivor sided unless you’re talking about 3-4 man swf teams, but even then the killer tops it all if they bring ultra rare add ons, noed and an ebony.
Noed is fine, and most ultra Rare add ons are too, with a few exceptions like iridescent head or that one for the Plague that everyone hates.
I compare Ebonys to keys. They finish the objective early which it shouldn't.

What happens when someone writes them down on some paper?

The order goes Listening to themselves <- listening to Killers <- listening to survivors
lul
Is this about the devs?
If so you're showing your bias.
It's more like Listening to their team that have much more experience than you or I <- People who aren't biased and explain why their buffs or nerds are healthy without ruing said thing <- People who are clearly biased and show little to no reason as to why it should be changed.

These are the kind of rational killer mains dictating balance in this game. This is who the balance team listens to.
Did you not see the amount of people who asked for a Deathslinger buff? Or for Hangmans to remain the same? Or for Ruin to stay the same and that its change was only positive for few killers?
They definitely do not only hear killer mains, if they did we would be in a game that was killer sided and not survivor sided.

not every match a survivor plays is survivor sided, get a grip.
Majority then. Maps, offerings, add ons and personal skill against certain killers will always play a part, but usually I find myself escaping most times.

the fact you replied calling me a clown but no counter to my actual point shows that i'm right :D
Ok then.
Rank 1 survivor here with proof:
This mid chapter patch removed arguably the biggest problem in the game besides Freddy.
The last few patches prior have been survivor sided, especially with Hex Ruin, only three months before this patch.
Also many killers still have the bug where their first lunge is shorter, but when we had that doc bug with decisive strike, fixed within a day.
The game is still survivor sided with infinites gone, but this is the first killer buff in a while.
-
I like the idea if something like this, meant to look childish but also in a twisted way.
-
Congrats dude! Welcome to the rank 1 Legions!
-
Know it all
Bond
Object of Obsession
Open Handed
Sole Survivor
Late game you constantly see the killer with no problem.

You realize she can hear your footsteps and breathing even when you aren't injured right? Basically you're saying just vault the pallet? That's counterplay? I'd love to see you go against a competent spirit.
First of all, it takes alot of precision to hear basic breathing and footsteps over the phrasing noise while focusing on it's direction, which comes with alot of practice.
Second of all against a great killer, counter play is minimal, especially against a Nurse or Spirit.
Is it unbalanced? No because it takes skill.
Also at rank 1 when ranking actually works, most red ranks are competent and put up a good and fun match.

So do I, so I yet again, disagree with your opinion.

@designator said:

Please explain how you would counter stridor spirit that spams her powers around loops every 3 seconds?
Ok then, first of all you need to be injured, which if you can make dukes with scratch marks aswell as run safe loops, you're fine.
Now let's say you are injured, which means you have made a mistake on your part, the best thing you can do is drop a safe pallet early and if you suspect they are using their power, vault it.
Often Spirits think you'll just save the pallet because it's safe, and you can rarely run a good killer for ever.
Also it takes time to learn a killer (except Freddy). If they are that lethal, it means they put time into it.
-
Slugging, the tactic that you just mentioned, is a legitimate strategy which is completely fair, although annoying to play against.
It lasts 4 minutes and the best thing you can do is wait for someone to heal you, or go on your phone.

I am also a rank 1 survivor main, and I am 100% certain that is not the truth. There are aspects that are more slated to one side or the other, sure. And several of the greatest of those disparities are being rectified this month. Playing a lot of DBD doesn't make your experience the gospel, good sir.
Ok, besides Freddy, aswell as moris and bad maps (such as hawkins and shelter), what is unbalanced that killers have which can't be countered easily.
-
Unless the killer plays very toxic (such as mori spam or legit tunneling rather than what many survivors call tunneling) and I'm not having a bad day, there is no reason to even message a killer after the game unless it's a gg.
-
Maybe every time you take a successful protection hit you see all survivors auras for 4-8 seconds? (4 might not be enough time for you to check where everyone is)

Or spirit. Or hillbilly. Or Doctor. Or using a mori. Or solo queue. Or on a bad map.
I can understand Doc, aswell as moris and bad maps, but Spirit and Hillbilly? Unless you're playing a god one who has many hours in the game, its extremely unlikely.
-
I think instead of starting the trial broken, you start the trial healthy, but upon becoming injured you gain the broken status effect.

Why should anybody be forced to play in a match where they aren't enjoying themselves in. The DC penalty shouldn't exist in such a unbalanced game.
In a game that unless you're playing against Freddy, is survivor sided.

Because rather than waiting four minutes you want to quit. I'm fine spending four minutes (sometimes not even) on the ground while on my phone.

I mean, yes, that would be ######### fantastic.
As much as I'd love to quit from a game that was just ######### in general, this is just entitlement. Instead of waiting 4 minutes and maybe going on your phone, you decide there should be an alternative to something that's harmless. This would also lead to people bleeding out at their first down.
-
So you want another alternative to dc without a punishment?
-
Rick Astley with his special ability 'Never gonna give you up' which allows him to get a speed boost while no survivor other than the one he is chasing is within 32 meters of him.
His 3 unique perks are
Desert you
Survivors don't see generators up until they are within 32/24/16 meters of them.
You know the rules
Any survivor that escapes a chase suffers from the exhausted status effect for 20/25/30 seconds.
You're to shy to say it
Survivors auras are blocked whenever you are within 16/24/32 meters of them. This effect persists for 20/25/30 seconds after leaving this radius.
-
Works fine for me and my mates.

Maybe he used VPN to play NA???
-
Considering you couldn't even see the killer, I'm going to assume is this hacking, especially that the same thing happened to your team mate.
-
To me it should be changed to:
You can mori a survivor if every survivor has been hooked at least once.
Removes the tunneling aspect of moris and changes it to hunting each survivor down.

Most likely an unlucky game, or more likely, the servers decided to briefly go poor, causing the stabability of your connection with the servers to decline.
-
I prefer Slippery Meat, Up the Ante, Open handed and no one left behind for the ULTIMATE gamer build.
-
Judging by the top left of the screen (The lag icon) that's due to your connection. If you were lagging without that icon that it wouldve been the killer or dedicated servers, but with it, it's you.
