I absolutely love Felix's voice acting. I think it actually sounds like he's fighting through the pain when he's injured and I don't begrudge not running Iron Will on him if I have no space in my build. I also really like Quentin's voice acting, and Ash's (he actually speaks!!).
Killer wise
I also love Deathslingers little laughs
And just from a quality of work point of view Huntresses voice actor went the extra mile, as did Tricksters (I think his voice acting is my favourite generally tbh)
-
Seriously
What is it with people with less than 200 posts coming into this forum and complaining about completely balanced things
-
I was in a game with someone using better together earlier and the killer had TOT, needless to say I got grabbed because I thought it was Better Together so wasn't worried about some undetectable cone head turning the corner and yeeting my off my gen

Why not off the record?
Because if I run object it's not because I want to know where they are so I can hide. I want to know where they are because the information is invaluable and you're more likely to be chased because you give away your location.

@GoodBoyKaru said:
Well I mean, I use it because if I'm gonna get tunneled I might as well give 'em a reason.
And because the sheer joy I get from just staring a killer as they realise someone has OOO and watching the life leave their body is something I should probably seek help for.
Ngl when I have used it that does bring me some joy.

@ohheyitsbobcat said:
Throw on Off the Record and Sole Survivor for extra fun solo shenanigans. I also found when using OoO in solo I ended up getting ignored more then tunneled oddly enough.
The ones that ignore you are always the best killers.

@dspaceman20 said:
Ok so hypothetically say you were going to use object, what would be your build?
Object, Iron Will, Dead Hard (Smash Hit when it comes out) and a fun perk like deception or something.

I might have, who knows. Maybe I have object all the time and you're the killer @_@
○-○ that would be a terrifying reality

Using perks isn't toxic at all, and don't listen to the people who say they are. Feel free to use whatever you want to.
I wish it were that easy.

"I'm being chased around hum.. walls? There's walls definitely. Also trees. I see a rock, yeah a couple rocks. No I don't think that's your gen- OH MY GOD I'M SO SORRY RUN"
Did you like, steal the discord voice chat logs from my games with friends orrr....

Well expect the tunnel and I guess enjoy it before the rework.
This is the issue. Also I have no issues being tunneled because I'm not incompetent.

Lul no that's dumb

Ohhh I see, I sometimes like to head to a random deadzone off start and make them think a hex is there because later you will come back and see 2 survivors combing the area lol
I rarely get actually smart survivors :(( so many survivors are majorly boosted.
-
Srsly tho ######### is that hair.
Grim, BHVR, I'm dissapointed, you usually pull it out for a Nea cosmetic

Agree but corrupt plus hex usually means bye bye to your hex
I've actually found if you head to your hex right away but don't go to its exact location you can scare survivors onto the other gens where you can start your immediate pressure as almost always at least 1 survivor will spawn in your corrupt or near your totem. Obviously some totem spawns are undefendable

understand that I’ve won games as clown in 3 mins it’s just how consistently nurse is able to do it is the problem as walls or any other obstructions do not hinder her
I mean that makes sense but I still think that potential is over hyped because how many people are actually good enough to blink through walls and attack someone without seeing them or an aura first.
-
@Mistercookie said:
You can always turn off post game chat and get on with your life. Object is also tempting me and I only play solo queue most the time.
I wouldn't even be able to relay info correctly.. like I don't know what building is near that side!!
"The killer is heeeeeh.... far from me?"
Lmaooo literally. I was playing with a friend earlier and I found a hex totem during chase but I could not for the life of me figure out how to give her the right directions. That totem didn't get cleansed for the rest of the match.
I think a lot of people over hype how strong comms usually is (not its max potential because that's god tier but 90% of players can't give directions for #########)
-
I mean corrupt is an amazing perk on nearly every killer

My problem is she can win any game in 3 minutes if your good at her
This is stupid though because I won a game as wraith the other week in exactly 2 minutes and 11 seconds. Anyone can win quickly it just depends on the players luck and their skill in capitalising on that.

Just do it lol you payed for the game and you can play how you want :)
I used object for like a week before and I've never gotten so much hate. Its stressing

I only recently started playing David after a daily ritual for him came up and I have already found resilience meshes well with his perks. I just don't know how I feel spending the whole match injured
No Mither is a strong perk if you're ok being injured but that comes with experience. I think I've come to grips with it faster than other people do.
Running it with Iron Will is a good place to start because it's super stealth (no blood, no noise).
If you dont have dead hard simply, never, and I mean never, repair unsafe gens.
If you ever play against Plague with a good team you'll notice a lot of players spend the whole match injured anyway because its safer to make the plague a one hit m1 killer than a two hit flying death vomiter.
Once you get good at looping No Mither eventually just becomes a helo rather than a hinder. I don't mean by good at looping that you never make mistakes because a No Mither only has one job (to get chased, or do gens as well for a 2nd with the build above) and the killer won't do that if you're uncatchable.
Honestly I'd say just start running no mither on the regular, it puts you into good habits, and boy do you feel 10x more powerful when you take it off
-
I've actually recently been running one of Monto's old builds he did for a video
No mither
Resilience
This Is Not Happening
Stake Out
& a good toolbox
I might swap out TINH for PT if the team looks good in lobby but otherwise it's good for conserving tokens of stake out for emergencies.
This ends up either going two ways. I get tunneled because No Mither and give my team a free escape (if they aren't 100% braindead), or I absolutely destroy gens and help my team escape fast.

Nothing beats his base and definitely not the beard though.
And if you unironically like egghead david dni please
I like his base but it's not my favourite
Yeah egghead for the memes I don't actually think it's hot ;-;
-
If someone slugs me for the 4k you bet I'm going to the furthest corner of the map, I'd rather you get no points for the bleed out. Like someone said, slugging for the 4k is petty, and so am I.
Also yes I slug for the 4k as killer I'm a petty ass mf

Wraith + David.
David's only here because of his shirtless skin; every head piece he has drags down his score so much
Idk I'm kinda feeling his dandy one with the cigarette
And egghead david is spectacular no one can say otherwise

Okay, so I must do the following:
- Assume BBQ is always there.
- Equip a counter perk for that exact perk.
- Hope other random survivors do the same.
Got it.
But I hope it works.
or you could do the things that make sense and require little to no effort
1) get within 40 metres of the hook
2) hid behind a gen
3) get in a locker
and if you don't wanna do those there's always:
4) uninstall
-
Balanced Landing might have just been better off being reworked to never take stagger when falling in exchange for being permanently exhausted

Well, maybe everyone has their own opinion?
That is what they said...
-
I went back today only because you can only play against Trickster so many time before it gets boring
-
I had a demo earlier who hit me through every pallet even though I was dropping early to try and avoid that.
In the end they said they had 200 ping
Probably just unlucky high latency killers
-
We got one of the best survivor perks in the game this PTB
Smash Hit
I've been consistently taking it over dead hard and I miss it when I don't use it!!
The killer is fun
His perks are fun
The Wraith change was the last touch he needed and now I think he's pretty perfect
And the DS change is amazing, absolutely spectacular
-
Wait for the new survivor and grind for smash hit
I like it much better
Haven't been able to take it off any of my characters since I got it on the PTB
-
Watch Anaxandra on twitch she's a great dickslinger main!!

I'll actually break the mold here and say that Wraith's always been kinda dopey and bizarre. With other Killers you can usually categorise them into horror archetypes, but Wraith's just the one that goes invisible, I guess?
Wraith is actually god. Simple.

Thank you.
When I saw that he got changes, I expected something more deep than just a boost of movement, but hey, that's still something! I'm a bit hyped, can't wait to test it
He moves at sprint burst speed whilst cloaked
-
They went with this look because he is a deranged superstar who got taken by the fog during his final performance, which he would of dressed extravagantly for.
People need to get over something not looking like stereotypical horror. You're right he isn't scary but his personality is. Read his backstory sometime its brutal. It's all psychological horror with some violence.
-
Easy, don't get hit
Just A D A D is easy dodges

So my concerns should be pushed aside because you find a weak killer fun? Sure buddy
no i just don't care if you don't like him quite honestly, you can have your opinion thats fine but i dont have to care
-
Yes following lore the entity is feeding him his deepest desires and his is to be watched and glorified so he knows (or rather thinks) he is being watched by something.
Plus his insanity probably disillusioned to something like this where he just perpetually thinks he is the centre of attention

The problem is that hes the worst killer in DBD.
He is outshadowed in every way by the former worst killer --- plague.
These developers are just not listening to the playerbase and its obvious, i highly doubt DBD will grow, and only will dwindle with time given how they continuously ignore good feedback.
Lmao you got some mighty wild opinions
-
It is easy to get hit when you do the obvious baits with the turning your character with a flashlight (doing it right in face before they swing has a higher success rate for the survivor I'll say) etc. but its really easy to catch a killer off guard if you just start spinning like a mad man right as your about to swing. I've caught some amazing killer off with this, they they swinging late once they realise, then you can get them with the normal spins
-
@dspaceman20 said:
To be honest I would like some tricks on how to dodge frenzy hits.
The feral frenzy fov is so hunched and closed in that it's hard for them to see a lot of what's happening, if you move irregularly it helps.
Additionally unless the legion is smart and steps back 99% of the time juicing into a spin is an easy dodge. It's easier with a flashlight click it in their face right before the spin (not in a toxic way it just rotates your survivor 180°). This baits most killers into a swing you can easily spin

Yes. Every time I run deliverance the killer is right next to me. I feel like the game does it deliberately to spite me.
I ran an altruistic build with deliverance a lot last week and I kid you not I got a whole three matches where I wasn't found first and chased for the majority of the match.
-
If a survivor has 360d you before instead of going for the lunge step back and take the stab once they finish making a fool of themselves. Unless of course your powers about to end then anything is worth a try.
Also watch out for window tech whilst in Feral Frenzy you leap so far out from the window the survivor can run right back behind you and you'll be none the wiser to it
-
It IS a good perk but if you run deliverance the game deliberately spawns you directly next to the killer.

I'm talking about from a power level perspective. Obviously if you really like Trapper you can play as him because you like him but from a power perspective there is no reason to play him when Hag exists.
I think that isn't a fair comparison. Trapper's style is about aggressive map pressure with a power that reinforces snowballing whilst Hag is the epitome of hit and run.
Same way that Huntress and Slinger are similar yet their styles and strategy are completely different. I honestly think once people get good with him Trickster could end up landing in the A tier and becoming a highly viable killer with the right build.
