Running around safe pallets 3 times before it's finally dropped isn't fun either, how about we fix the looping exploit first by adressing killerhitboxes/acceleration, then talk about nerfing the only few viable killers?
It shouldn't be hard to make killers accelerate just as fast as survivors.
Looping an exploit?
Well looks like I'm not talking to you anymore ๐

I have my SLIGHT bias as well. I hate Billy and Legion. Theyโre just annoying. Ghostface can also be annoying to face. Itโs not like Iโm screaming for nerfs just because I donโt like going against them.
So youโd rather get tunneled and stabbed over and over again by a Legion that face a Spirit? Whatever floats your boat but thatโs one extreme to another.
Of course people are gonna use Spirit because she is part of the game. Itโs not like she is gonna be removed. There is nothing more that I can say other than suck it up the few times you face Spirit or just DC. I rarely go against Spirit players. Most I go against lack the ability to track so I never really go down. Some rarely even phase and she turns into โwoman with katanaโ.
Yeah "most" you go against. I face so many spirits that are skilled and it just becomes boring and unfun

I saw a video with her glasses starting to shine after she starts phasing. I never saw that anything related to her hair.
Probably an old video, I've just tested it in KYF now, her glass doesn't shine and her hair does go up (on the head pieces I mentioned)

Hair ? I thought her glasses start shining when she's phasing, I didn't hear anything about her hair doing something when she's phasing.
Yeah you got it mixed up, her glass doesn't shine, not at all. If the Spirit has the default, frosty eyes or bloody head piece, her hair physics reset when she begins to phase. Easily countered by wearing any other head piece though.

I know. I said they're annoying, but not unbearable. : P
I love seeing survivors realize that they don't work on me. XD
Oh so it's just irritating to see them trying to do it?
I find it hilarious when I just wait their 360 out ๐

Some of these are true, some of these aren't.
SWFs do have a distinct advantage over solos. I wouldn't ban them for it though. I'd just fix it so they have a new handicap to make up for their advantage.
5 blink nurse has a tremendous downside, while Omega does need some downside to it.
Ebony moris are less about the offering itself, but how it's used. I use it instead of third hooks, but a lot do not. However, I don't think it should be changed because it is a counter to toxic SWFs, so I don't mind how they are now. A mori just allows one to leave a bad game, and find another. So I don't get what the big deal is about.
360s are annoying to deal with.
Certain Killer perks should just be made base mechanics (such as Monstrous Shrine).
Killers do have to go against 16 survivor perks. Some I don't mind, while others are frustrating.
I mean, it takes some skill, but not as much as losing them does.
Gens are way too quick. There should be some secondary objective that has to be completed, because I don't like 4 min games.
I mean, I'm fine with or without the music, so it doesn't matter so much. However, the option should exist. We can hear you from the basement regardless. Yesterday I heard an Ace from above while in a chase.
Survivors cry about killer stuff all the time. Like, Oh, NOED IS SO STRONG, REMOVE FROM THE GAME!! Or... TUNNELING IS A BIG ISSUE (It's not)!!
Killers did use to be way weaker. Pig did get gutted with the EGC, and survivor BPs were buffed...
The Devs are paying attention more to one half of the community because they are a larger part of the player base. However, they should pay more attention to killer's complaints, such as fixing certain maps like Haddonfield.
All you've gotta do to counter 360s is stand still and wait until they stop and then swing!!! It's been a while since I've 360'd a killer at red rank!

Youโre extremely biased when it comes to Spirit.
If weโre talking about profile pictures I could judge you by saying you were probably a MOM user when it was THE biggest problem in the game since you have Ash as a profile picture. Your profile picture means nothing.
If you think Spirit is a bigger problem than glitches, bugs, insta heals, moris, etc...then something is wrong with your logic
She is hard to counter...yes, but itโs not an instant death every single time. I have escaped Spirit multiple times. Itโs not impossible.
She can hear footsteps...and? I can track people with Bubba. If you have good headphones youโll be able to track anyone.
Just DC every time you go against a Spirit 4Head and youโll have nothing to complain about.
I'm biased when it comes to Spirit because I don't mind facing any killer apart from her.
I'd rather Old Legion with Cold Dirt and Frank's mix tape than just a base Spirit
Also, of course I used MoM, not an Ash main and I already knew it was gonna get nerfed but I used it because it was part of the game.

But then again it's the same with all killers. Good headphones and not even Claudette's can hide from me if they are injured out not.
Also Spirit is currently suffering from a bug, at least on PS4 at the moment where she glitters like a Twillight Vampire when using her power.
I've faced several Spirit's today and that had never happened once. PS4 btw

What does having a Spirit image have to do with anything? Why judge based off the image of a person?
Shesh. I counter Spirits all the time (I'll still die to them sometimes, but I've been outplayed more times then not in those cases, or because I have the biggest forehead made of a potato). There are often times they lose me even when I don't run IW or whatever.
I know the difference between them not having good headphones or not, before you ask.
That's another thing I forgot.
All Spirit needs is basic tracking knowledge and a good set of headphones

I donโt play spirit but still say sheโs has counter play.
Survivors can counter her with the following:
Looking at her hair when she starts phasing (only works efficiently on default and bloody head piece)
Walking (yet she can still hear you piss easy)
Running from the loop (but if she was standing still she can just phase to you and still get a hit)
Hoping that her collision in phase (which in my personal opinion should definitely not be a thing) doesn't collide with you.
These "counterplays" can be countered very easily by the Spirit player and it doesn't take that much effort from the killer to do it.
Spirit is the biggest problem in this game (even more than Insta heals, mori's, keys, Adrenaline and NOED)

This /\ ... it's not like you forget how to use ironworks window or the cowshed because the killer brings a mori....
Being unpredictable also helps against spirit, if you bring iron will and play unpredictable you can make spirits feel like giving up and IW isnt required you spin/move around manipulating your sounds and scratches you can do the same effect on her.... like she cant us abuse the shiet out of it
Of course a person with a Spirit image says this because every spirit player "knows how to counter her".

I don't even think that killers would need to hear the survivors talking if proximity chat was implemented. It could definitely add more to the horror factor though I can see it being abused. Cussing people out, griefing, etc.
I feel like hearing people's reactions would be quite funny.
Especially if someone sacrificed themselves for you and you run away and all you hear in the distance is "GO, RUN!!"
It'd be nice to have implemented imo, also makes playing with randoms a bit more tolerable.
But then again every single game has cussing and griefing among players so its not the devs fault for this happening, players need to behave

Meg, because she was my first survivor (you never forget your first one) so I got her to Level 50, P3, bought a lot of cosmetics for her and I have all the perks that I unlocked from teachables on her.
My second main is Ash (for obvious reasons) and I'm planning to P3 him and buy his cosmetics as well (The P2 cosmetics combined with Ashy Slashy is my favourite survivor outfit from the game).
And I will P3 Bill as well (I have him at P1 currently) cuz I'm starting to get into L4D lately and I wanted to main Bill from the beginning cuz he looked like a badass war veteran smoking that cigar, but I ultimately sticked with Meg.
So, Meg, Ash, Bill in this particular order for me. I've played Nea and Claudette long enough as well (got them to P1 after consuming all their items, so I've played them for several hours). I ditched Claudette, I don't really like her cosmetics nor playing stealthy, so no reason to continue levelling her to P3 or playing her as a whole. I ditched Nea as well in favour of Ash and Bill. However, I might play Nea in the future again because I love her cosmetics, especially the neon one.
It's nice that you're deciding to play Ash and Bill because they rarely ever get played!!!

You don't need to play Survivor to be a good Killer.
That is true (btw hello Space coconut ๐).
However I feel playing survivor first will also give you a general sense of what survivors will try to do, especially when you play survivor and get outplayed by the killer at a loop. You remember that and implement it into your own killer gameplay.
This doesn't mean you have to play survivor to be a good killer though, I completely agree with you

They did it to themselves as well.
I got into a bunch of arguments saying how self care is beneficial to killers, and they would rant on about how it's better because they don't have to find someone else to heal them so it saves time.
Now survivors just run adrenaline and don't heal so they don't waste any time on healing at all, a lot of people don't think about the larger impact on the game and see one perk being used a lot and assume it's an issue.
At this point, when I'm playing survivor, I'd rather go down committing to the last gen so the other 3 survive.
Couldn't have said it better myself Senzu.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Technically a killer main but I finished this month at rank 4 killer/rank 3 survivor. Survivor is just easier. As long as the killer isn't Nurse/Billy/Spirit, survivors dictate the game. They hold all the cards. The vast majority of pallets are safe. It's up to them whether they mess up or not. It's up to them whether they spread out and hammer gens individually or whether they group up and lose efficiency. Assuming equal skill, survivors should win every time.
I've started to play killer a bit more recently (got into Clown even though I know he's weak, I just find him fun to play as). The only problems I've really been facing are insta heals, gen rush and the occasional Ruin out in the first 10 seconds but otherwise it's been fine.
I can see how teabagging and clicking can get pretty aggravating as I've just had a game where I got pretty mad against survivors doing just that.
I find there something fun in playing killer that isn't there as survivor so I'm thinking of playing a bit more, also Edgar you're doing a great job bro ๐.

Sometimes you can't improve, its called a skill ceiling.
Then it's just the way the game is, sometimes a killer wins by good gameplay and sometimes a good survivor team wins by good gameplay.
-
I think the funniest one was when I was solo queueing and I was a single Quentin with 3 Claudette's.
The match was Ironworks of Misery and it was a Doctor, I ran him for about 10 minutes until he finally caught me. The Claudette's meanwhile didn't complete a single gen and were crouching in the corner of the map, so the Doctor slugged me and used his madness to find the Claudette's, they all went down in seconds.
He hooked them all and after they died he picked me up and gave me hatch, nodding his head.
The Claudette's then sent death threats to me and the Doctor, saying that we were "teaming" and that the Doctor was "aura hacking" (I don't think they knew what shock therapy does) and that I was "being useless" even though I was the one being chased and they were the ones all hiding in the corners.
Some players really concern me about their mental health, since that match me and the Doctor have been pretty good friends ๐

Oh goodness. The Plague is one of the easiest characters to apply pressure in this game. You just might not be good with her.
True, when against the Plague the survivors always have a weakness, either they're permanently broken or they give Plague her discount Huntress ability (and funilly enough like the hatchet hitboxes, they are completely wack sometimes).

Nurse is already getting nerfed, I'm not going to start another discussion about Spirit. Killers, most of them, need some buffs. They get stomped by SWF. Hell, even Spirit gets stomped by a good SWF sometimes. Buff solo's to SWF status then QUICKLY buff Killers to that status as well.

Wraith always gets first hit, Spirit does as well. Both are functionally invisible. Iron Will counters Spirit. If you run Iron Will and Urban Evasion, if the Spirit is phasing she'll never find you. She really isn't that hard to deal with pal.
Yet again with the assumptions, do you ever stop?
I said before that I DON'T struggle with Spirit, she's just plain boring and Tedious to play against. Also, to counteract your Wraith argument, I will agree that he does get the first hit easily but after that he's an M1 killer whereas Spirit can stand still and outgame you at almost every loop

You can't slug them because they just go into a locker. So you either stand there like an idiot counting to 60 while a gen gets done, or you leave the locker giving the survivor a free bail out. DS completely screws the killer. Make it 20, or 30 seconds. An entire minute is absolute overkill.
Maybe uh, don't do either of those things and go find another survivor.
