There is no chance you'll get a week where behaviour says "Ok this week you can't play with your friend".
-
I'd say give survivors survival points for every second they remain alive in the trial.
Maybe every 15 seconds = 50bp.
This would help a bit.

It’s not an amazing perk by any means, but in this build it’s quite handy at complimenting Coulrophobia and Unnerving, keeping pressure on the survivors either struggling to get slugs up off the ground, or trying to heal with their medkits. I’ve had survivors try to blind me only to run out of charges. Same with mid hook Sabotage. Plus it helps make a map user waste loads of time trying to stay out of my TR. It just makes the survivors getting things done way more difficult as I keep in the move, and with how frequently they keep getting into T3 madness. It basically gives Doc peak power with his TR.
I’d only ever use Calm with M&A so I can take advantage of his stealth during cool downs.
Well if you've had success with it then fair enough lol

I have particularly methodology with this build. The survivors struggle to get much done.
Plus I find it really funny smacking down an injured cocky survivor trying to finish a heal mid chase, but they run out of med kit charges.
I don't remember the last time I've seen a survivor try to heal mid-chase lol
Well fair play then lol I would prefer that build to a lot of others that the Doctor has. Like if I was doing that build I'd definitely use double calm and Lullaby instead of overwhelming presence.
-
When it comes to the 1v1 killers are meant to be strong, that's what they are designed for. However survivors want to feel like they can have an impact on how long they last. This doesn't mean they expect a 4/5 minute chase.
I'd like to feel like my experience as a survivor would give me the tools to last a decent bit longer than a rank 20. But vs a Spirit, it really is just a guessing game. I could last 20 seconds, I could last 1 minute I never know.
So to answer the question. I don't want to feel strong in the 1v1 but I want to feel like what I do is calculated and not a guess. I'd rather be stronger in the 4v1 because that requires strategy.
-
That build isn't that scary unless your playing on a tiny map. Also ngl I'd be more afraid of that build if it had Huntress Lullaby (probably my kryptonite perk).
Also I'd probably run calm add-ons instead and never use the static blast. Makes more sense with your perks.

You keep saying you don't care much about winning, but then you also say that you can't run sub-optimal builds more than once or twice because you'd be going up against people who are running meta builds (implying you'd lose against them). It's one or the other, not both.
MMR, if it works properly, will match you with people who are playing at your level of skill. If you choose (because it is a choice) to keep playing "sweatier" every time in order to win, then you'll keep getting players who are better. That's just the way it works.
Well as killer if your running a sub-optimal build the game isn't going to last that long if your facing a good team. You won't get to have any fun because the game isn't going to last long enough for you to do anything.
That's a big IF it works properly lol I'm still of the belief that when it's released there will be something wrong. What if you get a pretty high MMR rating and then like me you have a day or 2 where you mess around (drinking nights). Those nights will be sooo miserable. Constantly Spirits, Nurses, Hags..........
What about the others you play with? I have a few friends who aren't great at this game and only play it to play with me. What a miserable experience they will have getting matched with killers too high for them. Currently when we play we get a good mix of killers my rank and some there's so it's not that bad. There are games I need to take control and say do this or do that but others where we can relax.
This is something neither of us will change the others mind on. Seems like your looking forward to it which is fair enough. I've seen what MMR has done for some other games and wouldn't like to see that added to this game.

A meta always establishes itself but not every player wants to use/face the meta every single game. I enjoy perks like Appraisal and Aftercare but when MMR is implemented I'm not going to be able to run that.
MMR isn't going to stop you from running those perks, though, is it? It's just that you value winning more than build variety. Which is fine, don't get me wrong, but don't blame MMR for that.
If I valued winning more than build variety then stacks wouldn't be in my main perks for the past few years lol once the event is over I'll probably also run Flashbangs every game too. If I really cared that much about winning I wouldn't be bringing flashlights, flashbang or stacks.
A meta always establishes itself but not every player wants to use/face the meta every single game. I enjoy perks like Appraisal and Aftercare but when MMR is implemented I'm not going to be able to run that.
Take what I said here and pretend I'm talking about killer. Let's say I want to run Franklin's and Hoarder (think that's what it's called) on Ghostface. Your seriously not going to say that MMR isn't going to stop me running them. I can run that build maybe once or twice but when every game is potentially going to be very sweaty people will eventually revert back to a meta build.
Everybody wants to win to some extent. Also this is just me but I purely care about points. I would rather lose with 23K than win with 17K.

I just want a good mix of tough and laid back games.
And you can have those! But you will be going up against opponents of equal skill, so you'll likely lose. The alternative is having you go up against less-skilled opponents, and that's not fun for them.
This game was build of variety and if you play this game at the top level then variety is going to go out the window when MMR is added.
That's how it is in every competitive game. A meta always establishes itself.
No we won't lol I don't mind losing if it's a fun game but it's not fun facing the same perks as killer or facing the same killer and perks as survivor. As I said before this game has a lot of variety which will be lost once MMR is implemented.
A meta always establishes itself but not every player wants to use/face the meta every single game. I enjoy perks like Appraisal and Aftercare but when MMR is implemented I'm not going to be able to run that.
All of this is IF they get SBM perfect. Let's be honest it won't be on release and we don't know how long it will take for them to get it to a good state. I don't want to potentially face green ranks or less every game because I'll destroy them and it won't be fun for anyone.

You don't have to "sweat" unless you want to. If you just take the L a few times, your MMR will adjust.
Nobody wants to lose. There are games where I go in to mess around, have fun and more than likely die. Me and a mate literally killed ourselves 2/3 times trying to go for flashbang locker saves. Though there are games where I go in, especially with extra bloodpoints on the line where I want to win.
If your not running meta perks and you face your 5th Spirit in 3 hours, you'll probably think "God I wish I had Iron Will and Dead Hard". Btw this isn't a random example, this did happen in one of their previous tests.
I'm not saying I want easy games every game because that would be extremely boring and unfun. I just want a good mix of tough and laid back games. This game was build of variety and if you play this game at the top level then variety is going to go out the window when MMR is added.

I'm personally not looking forward to skill based matchmaking.
The last test they did me and my mate played as a 2 man swf on both days. Here was the results:
- Day 1: Good enough teammates and average killer.
- Day 2: Really bad teammates (basically rank 15s or less) and good, sweaty killers.
I personally don't believe they will get it right. How many times have they released something broken and bugged? In my opinion when SBM is released I think it'll be a broken, buggy mess.
Now imagine they get a perfect matchmaking system. To me that is also something I don't want to see. My reasons:
- I don't want all my killer games to be vs really good swf teams. I'm not a god killer but I get a 4K 9/10 games, and I'm not even playing Nurse, Spirit, Hag or Blight. I personally don't want to need to sweat every single game I play.
- Survivor my SBM will be quite high also. I like to run fun perks and at least play Drunk By Daylight twice a week. Last thing I want is every game to be Ruin, Pop, Tinkerer etc. Facing the same killers every single game also.
- I have 2 friends as survivor I'm trying to teach the game. They are around green ranks and can't really loop. I don't want them to face sweaty killers every single game because of my SBM rating.
The TL;DR version of this part is I don't want every game to be a sweat fest. Whether I play killer or survivor I don't want to need to run meta perks and play sweaty every game. I'm not saying "All I want is easy games", I'm just saying I'd rather a good balance.
-
There are loads of gen rush threads mate. I'd actually say I've seen more gen rush threads than tunnelling threads.
I will also say "gen rush" can be a result of a survivor getting tunnelled.
-
This is a community issue, not a survivor only issue.

No idea. Faced the same hacker 6 times in 2 months and it was extremely annoying.
Killer who played as Myers with speed and wall hacks when he had infinite tier 3 and mori add-ons.

I was facing a Fog Whisperer while I was live streaming on YouTube last night who acted like a cocky a-hole then DC'd once he realized they wasn't going to win.
Sounds about right lol
Dare to give a little hint 👀 maybe a rhyme.
-
If that's seriously the daily I'm shocked.
How can anyone that actually plays this game let this happen? This is something that'll probably not change for a very long time.
-
Ngl I watched the video but otz didn't play Nemesis well. He missed a lot of whips (I know it's tough but someone who plays Nemesis a lot will eventually master the aim and movement).
I would also say the survivors in the PH game seemed weaker than the ones in his Nemesis game.
I do believe PH is stronger than Nemesis but I don't think you can look at this video and say this proves much.
-
I give killer a few hooks sometimes at end game if I feel bad or if point offerings are on the line. Though some killers:
- DC before the end if they aren't playing well.
- Sit in a corner.
- Not hook the survivors.
- Will sweat their ass off to kill that survivor who literally gave them a free hook (had that happen too many times).
Both sides are kind, though I feel like killer has more opportunities to be nice than survivor. Also if survivors give an offering (usually an item) then the killer might let them live, but the killer can't really offer anything to the survivors.

I only had 2 Survivor-DCs so far, one time when playing Survivor and one time when playing Killer (DC for Hatch, even tho they dont were SWF).
But like 4 Killer-DCs.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2291691#Comment_2291691
Yeah, I mean, I can understand it. But in this game, the Killer even had 1 or 2 Hooks and the game was far from over. Just his Tinkerer triggered on the third Gen and he just gave up.
The game is not even close to being over at this point.
I've had so far 5 survivors DC with 6 giving up. This is all in the 10 games.
@reeves7 said:
Dc penalty should go away imo for ever. If someone doesn’t want to play he doesn’t need to be forced
This is massively disagree with. This game is balanced around the 4v1 so removing one survivor basically guarantees them to die.
Killer dc'ing is a waste of offerings also. Lost about 3 bps on Friday alone to it.
DC'ing just punishes everyone else.
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
I get more Killer-DCs than Survivor-DCs. Like, Killer has Tinkerer, 2 Gens done, my Gen hits 70% (he gets notified)... Game over.
No wonder with those instant Queue times in the evening that Killers just DC to get into the next game when they think they lost.
On Friday I had a lot of dc's. We were a 4 man swf, though we were all drinking so we weren't playing the best.

I have so many questions for how a Huntress a 110% killer whose power doesn't get effected by NOED managed to get a 4k from NOED.
Basically:
- Her camping a slugged body.
- Me being drunk wanting a flashlight save.
- My mate using unbreakable in her face (he was also drinking)
- Random not saving anyone while they were on the ground and instead just hid around the area without looking for noed.
- Area we were in was a dead zone.
- Add-on that increases her movement speed while out of hatchets (until she reloaded and downed me).
Does this about cover it lol
-
Number of reasons:
- At low ranks killers get 4ks quite easily which is where the majority of the player base is.
- A good killer (the person playing the killer) will beat most teams no matter who they're playing.
- Noed. Literally last night had a Huntress who got 0 hooks the whole game get a 4k because of noed.
- Camping/Tunnelling. Usually a bad killer game will result in some sort of camping/tunnelling which will get at least 1 kill but usually more because of altruistic survivors.
Feel like these are the main reasons. Killer isn't op, it's just that most of the player base is bad at the game.
-
- Remove Billy's overheat mechanic.
- Nerf Hag and her add-ons.
- Make Trapper Sack basekit
- Buff some killer and survivor perks. Here's a couple I'd personally like: Aftercare = works with flashlight and head-on saves. Furtive Chase = Complete rework. Everytime you hook the obsession you lose your terror radius for 30 seconds. Keep the swapping obsession when unhooked part.
- QoL changes to Nemesis (Fix zombie AI and remove sprint burst from whip hits).
- Fix bugs.
This isn't a massive set of changes but something simple that shouldn't take multiple patches to do.
-
Last time I faced a Billy was 2 days ago. He dc'ed after he lost his totem within the first 2 minutes.
Before that probably about 2 weeks ago. I don't get why the devs haven't went back and reverted the overheat mechanic. I get a lot of players miss his very strong add-ons but they needed nerfed. Remove the overheat mechanic and hopefully people will start playing him again. He has always been a very fun killer to face.
-
I don't see any reason to nerf any killer perks. If anything a lot of them need massive buffs.
I think noed shouldn't have the 4% speed buff though. In a game where if a killer camps or tunnels people say "rush gens" and then getting hit by noed because of this feels a little cheap sometimes. Just would like the speed reduced a little but that's the only perk I'd touch on the killer side.

Well I feel like I've mentioned his weaknesses in my message but I'm not going to read every single comment in a very long discussion. My point was clear I thought, its irrational to ask me for such things when it is your job. You've totally missed the point.
I think you misunderstood what I meant when you said about Bubba. If you drop a pallet and I have my power charged then I either hit you or I break the pallet. No other killer can do this bar lopro Billy. This means if I miss you with my whip it doesn't matter because at worst I get the pallet. You just restated the same thing, also its roughly the duration of a normal pallet break so it doesn't matter, you can still get to the next loop.
The free detection isn't useless. It let's you know what other survivors are doing and where your at.If you can't do anything with it, it is, you've just repeated yourself.
When I said about the zombies making a difference I did say they needed a slight buff.Cool
Oni's early game is worse than Nemesis yet no one is saying he's weak. If we're using your argument of killers need to be effective "entire trials" then Oni must be weak correct?Mr.strawman give me a break.
This killer isn't on the same level as Legion, Trapper or Trickster.Cool, I agree, I am just sitting here waiting for you to argue my argument, instead of saying random things that I agree with and strawmanning. I've cut out the fodder in your messages. 56% of this was just bs.
He's not perfect. He needs a few QoL changes to help him such as getting rid of the sprint Burst after a tentacle hit and fixing dumb zombies AI.Cool
When they're done he'll be low A tier definitely. No, he is a weaker pyramid head.
Lastly apologies for this being super long. Kinda still drunk from last night + I had a lot to say.You should be apoligizing for straw manning, ignoring all my points, and stating a bunch of things I never argued vs nor where brought up in my reply to you.
I feel like I have argued against your points mate.
I've also repeated myself a few times because it feels like you weren't understanding me like in the Bubba part. My point was missing an attack at a loop isn't as punishing because you'll get rid of the pallet.
The only part I should've explained better was the part about zombie detection. You said the detection is "useless if he can't do anything with it" but he can. He doesn't have mobility like a lot of other killers true but knowing where survivors are can influence if you leave a chase to go towards a gen you want to protect. Think of it like the Doctor's illusionary doctors.
Also mate you can't complain about "straw manning" whenever it makes sense for the argument. You said a killer needs to be effective the entire trial and I gave a valid reason why that statement can't be true. This is also funny coming from the guy that when I said about Nemesis getting the first down easier than "most killers" you tried to compare him to the two best killers in the game Nurse and Spirit lol
When it comes to Pyramid head I agree that Nemesis is weaker than him. Doesn't mean though Nemesis can't also be A tier.
We could go on about this forever mate from the sounds of things. If you have any particular points you want me to argue then put them in a bullet point at the end and I'll try to answer them as short as possible.

No, this would be in addition to the current system.
So you can still unlock and level perks as normal, but if you have a P3 David, then all characters will have Dead Hard, No Mither and WGLF at max rank straight from the get-go. They won't have to level those up at all anymore.
Say you have, I don't know, 18 perks in the pool or something like that, and you P3 one of your characters. Then that reduces the pool to 15, so if you want to get all perks maxed on another character, you'd be saving yourself those 3 perks worth of bloodwebs.
If you were to have all survivors at P3 except for the latest, Jill and Leon, then Jill, for example, would only need to level her own, and acquire and level Leon's perks, plus the ones not bound to any other character.
Oh ok I understand now lol yea this seems like a good idea then.
Though I will say this only really helps players who are prepared to put a lot of time into this game and are prepared to spend a lot of money buying dlc. I know a few of my mates who hardly touch this game and this won't really help them. Here's why:
- They aren't going to buy every dlc or play enough to get them free.
- They won't play enough to level up a bunch of characters to 50 then use all their good offerings/items before prestiging.
I think they need something more helpful for newer players who don't play that often. For players who want to get more perks without having to buy characters first. Basically a better Shrine Of Secrets.

This literally cannot be true.
Ngl my zombies did this a lot as well. Sometimes spinning on the spot and not doing anything lol I've literally had a zombie walk into the corner if the map while I'm chasing a claudette about 4m away lol
-
I think they'll buff and nerf him. I'm guessing:
Buff:
- Zombie AI
- Zombie Speed
- Add-ons (most next year)
- Range of mutation 3.
Nerf:
- Charge to mutation 3. No idea why but usually they buff and nerf every killer.
-
This would increase the grind would it not? So for me to get one character to have all the perks in the game I need to P3 every survivor/killer?
That 6 million bloodpoints I used to get all 3 perks of Meg's unlocked would've been better used unlocking Bill's, Meg's and David's perks. I get the idea is that I don't need to spend more bloodpoints getting the perks in the bloodweb for my main but I still think overall I'm spending more points.
If I try to P3 max perks every survivor/killer it may reduce the grind then but only if I'm doing that.
-
I'm too lazy to type this out so here's my answer.

When I say "when you compare him to other killers" I didn't mean you specifically, I meant it in a different way. It's hard to explain.Oh you meant it rhetorically, I understand what you mean now.
I've read a few of the comments but definitely not them all. Since you've seen most comments you can tell me which ones I need to refute if I miss them here. Its not my job to fact check for you nor offer other people's arguments for you. That is your job.
I know he needs to hit survivors 3 times and they get a sprint burst and the zombies are really, really blind sometimes but he's still better than people are saying. Here's my reasons.Define "Better then than people are saying".
Some people are saying he is op, others are saying he is F tier.
The fact that once he gets someone infected he can hit over loops with a really quick charge up is very strong. Not if you are playing competently, this is only effective in specific angles and it has its own mindgame potential. Safe loops are still safe, so you are getting god looped just like normal.
When you are one side of a pallet (just after dropping it) there is no other killer that can either break the pallet or injure a survivor in 1 attack except for lopro chains on Billy. This alone makes every pallet drop very risky for a survivor. At a dropped pallet missing an attack doesn't hurt you in terms of pressure. This is a lie, Bubba does just that except he downs the survivor instead. Bubba has the same mindgame issue at pallets Nemi does. So this MAY make it risky, it depends. If anything it is more effective vs the killer however because the survivors can make mistakes and the killer can't.
Zombies gives free detection. Not the best but not the worst either.Which is useless if he can't do anything with it
Even though the zombies are quite dumb and need a buff they can still change a game out of nowhere. They can, but its rare in my games at least.
Coughing survivors can help in loops with walls.Incredibly minimally, it is a advantage that is near nullified with how insignificant it is.
My opinion for this but compared to most killers getting the first down is a lot easier on Nemesis. Then you are objectively wrong. Nurse, Spirit, ect do this faster and better.
He's like most killers. Bad early game but strong endgame. He is like most killers, however end game does not cut it for a efficient killer. They need to be effective the entire trials or they are not getting they're hooks vs a good team of survs.
I think once you've gotten better with his power and you get good perks then you'll do good against most teams.I do good, I constantly 4k. This isn't because the Nemi is good though its because the survs don't know what they are doing. Every time I find those teams that do know what to do, it really shows how useless he is in alot of situations and its hard to even draw the game. It doesn't help the zombies can act as free sprint bursts at all, indirectly buffing survs.
I didn't have any good perks for most of my games and I did fine. Only had some good perks for my last few games. Then you certainly are not playing a team of survivors that are very good.
Well I feel like I've mentioned his weaknesses in my message but I'm not going to read every single comment in a very long discussion.
A lot of people are saying he's really weak. This discussion is literally talking about him being B tier and a lot of people are arguing otherwise. To me he's B tier and I believe people are focusing too much on his weaknesses than actually focusing on his positives.
I think you misunderstood what I meant when you said about Bubba. If you drop a pallet and I have my power charged then I either hit you or I break the pallet. No other killer can do this bar lopro Billy. This means if I miss you with my whip it doesn't matter because at worst I get the pallet.
The free detection isn't useless. It let's you know what other survivors are doing and where your at.
Come on mate lol when I say "most killers" I obviously didn't mean Nurse or Spirit. Most killer means not every single one. Trying to compare anyone to Nurse or Spirit is dumb since no one is on their level. Blight and Hag are just below them but even they won't compare to those two.
When I said about the zombies making a difference I did say they needed a slight buff. I've had games where the survivor is nearly touching them but they proceed to walk to a corner lol even if it's rare, getting a free hit or down can be massive. Last night both zombies literally won Nemesis a game vs my swf just because the last gen they guarded till Nemesis could use his Pop and shortly after win the match.
I've faced a lot of good players while playing Nemesis, not really good 4 man swfs but still pretty good. Any short loop that I can hit over there is pretty much nothing they can do. Obviously good survivors will make him look weak but that's the case for most killers. Oni for example is a simple M1 killer till he gets a few hits but when he does he is extremely strong. Oni's early game is worse than Nemesis yet no one is saying he's weak. If we're using your argument of killers need to be effective "entire trials" then Oni must be weak correct?
This killer isn't on the same level as Legion, Trapper or Trickster. He has a good anti-loop power that can destroy at certain loops extremely well. Even tougher loops like shack/jungle gyms should result in a hit with his tentacle if you play correctly. The zombies free detection + potential free hits can change games sometimes.
He's not perfect. He needs a few QoL changes to help him such as getting rid of the sprint Burst after a tentacle hit and fixing dumb zombies AI. When they're done he'll be low A tier definitely.
Lastly apologies for this being super long. Kinda still drunk from last night + I had a lot to say.
-
Once you buy the killer he's playable. He's not as useless as people are trying to let on.
-
Your definitely a newer player. Play the game more and learn it properly before complaining. The reason it's obvious your a new player is because your complaining about flashlights. Every good killer loves seeing flashlights.
Once you get better perks and learn the maps better then games will be a lot easier.
-
This would be a terrible thing to do. They did it a few years ago and it only lasted 2 days because of how easy it was.
It's very precise but that's the risk/reward aspect of it. You can spend the whole game following survivors around, yet never get a proper opportunity to use it. You need to know the right time to go for them and make sure when you do that you get it.
-
I know when I've played killer it's quite annoying.
Thing is though it can get 0 use in some games. My mate ran it for 4 hours last night and never got it to work once. Basically because every single game had ruin or when they didn't the killer never kicked gens.

- My opinion for this but compared to most killers getting the first down is a lot easier on Nemesis.
He's like most killers. Bad early game but strong endgame. I think once you've gotten better with his power and you get good perks then you'll do good against most teams. I didn't have any good perks for most of my games and I did fine. Only had some good perks for my last few games.

I don't get all these "he's bottom tier" comments. He has a few flaws like the zombies being in my opinion slower and less responsive than ptb but overall he's really good. Then clearly you haven't read any of the points of contention that people in this thread have brought up that are valid.

I've played 12 games as him now. Had haddonfield, ormond, mothers dwelling etc and I've 4k'd every game except my first (Temple of Purgation while going for adept, still got 1K with 8 hooks).Ok? This doesn't mean anything.
Now I know I haven't faced a god tier swf yet but I haven't had a game vs 4 potatoes either. I've probably had a good mix each game but all of high ranks. I think after some quality of life changes he'll be in a great place. Most games you play you won't find very optimized survivors, nor even decent survivors because how they base the game.
Again, rank doesn't matter and its only used for match making. At a red rank you are liable to find the worse players in the game who accidently/purposely where boosted by the rank system, or god survivors who should fit the idea of what it should be like to be in the highest rank in game.
I have seen the points but just in my opinion he isn't anywhere near bottom 5. I've played him a lot and had great success.
Just when you compare him to other killer I don't understand it lol

There are still plenty of killers that could come. I only mentioned this because plenty of people seem to want more Left 4 Dead. Also that was alot of quoting just to get one point across.
I was only making a joke lad lol wasn't anything serious

It depends.
If I'm with one of my main swf teammates we'll still try to win because we still believe we can.
If I'm with my real life my who is a bit of a baby in chase we'll just mess around. Go for silly flashlights or something.
Solo q I'll continue on trying but mainly just to get points.

I faced him maybe 5 times yesterday. Started off slow but towards the later part of the night he became more frequent.
These aren't players going for adept anymore though. These are players just using the perks they want.
-
Well played mate 👍 I got it in my third game though it wasn't by conventional means.
I had 2 people dead and 2 on 1st hook. I know from a previous game that I didn't get adept because of the chaser emblem. So this game I basically farmed with the other 2 so I could up my chaser emblem. It worked but I feel bad for those 2 survivors.

I can't agree that he's a bottom 5 killer.
The zombies may be weak but they give you free tracking on where survivors are. The infected survivors cough a lot so they can't hide near you. He can break pallets very quickly also.
Mid tier maybe but not bottom 5. I would like to see a few buffs to him though.

PS5 same problems. Lost 150K bloodpoints because of it.
Only started 30 mins ago.

I've unfortunately lost 150K from this while levelling a survivor and the game kicking me out.
Just start happening about 30 mins ago.

I've already explained it.
They were always intended to be linked.
I missed that my apologies

I will keep coming back to this everyday.

No dev should honestly come in here to close this. It would say a lot if they did without actually explaining why they changed it.
