considering how SIMPLE it is to slug for the 4K, asking for an aura reading hatch perk for killers is extremely pointless. 80% of the time i get a hatch game, I already know where the hatch is as I've run across it.

Thing is, since killers can roam freely, they probably already spotted the hatch as well. So Left Behind basically does nothing. Claiming the hatch is more of a timing thing than anything else.

The game is trying to aim for a 2k average anyways, the hatch spawning is meant to be a last ditch effort which is easily thwarted nowadays.

Maybe I didn't say it as I should have, I'm trying to get 4k all the time, it's not for the pips, it's not for the BP, I'm in that part where I have all the adepts and stuff I felt I wanted and just play for the fun of getting a 4k with fair gameplay (no toxic behaviour), but the hatch has taken away the 4k lots of times just cause it spawned at the same distance from us but I tracked the noise whyle the survivor knew where it was. I'm not asking for much, we have lots of useless perks, add the hatch tracking or slowdown to be opened as part of one. I base my gameplay on 3 perks and have a spare spot for any fourth, and I would love to use this kind of perk as my 4°.

It's a very understandable strategy. With 4 survivors alive the dynamic is always against you. One hooked, one saving, one chased still leaves gens being done by the last.

As soon as you eliminate one person, a hooked survivor and a chase occupies the whole team which progresses you, not them.

It seems like being mean, and then "playing nice" but if you can kill someone fast enough, it's the most efficient way to be able to play for higher points and rank.

Yes it is, I didn't mean for it to be read as a critic, it is more as an informative comment, I've done this in red ranks actually.

We should also get a perk that we see survivors auras any time they are on a generator or exit gate because thats how you escape and we don't want that

Aww, missunderstanding an argument for a specific game dinamic that messes with good killers game with being a baby killer?

  • I only have one argument, F13th CANNOT be developed or add any new content, DBD has practically no barriers but the Devs opinion on what's next to come, so, based on how good or enjoyable the game is, sorry, but DBD changes or adds new skills, perks, habilities, maps, etc. whyle F13th has nothing more to give, don't get me wrong, I love both games and F13th was my favourite, but the lack of new content drove me away

How would a D'artagnan skin work? We never see him as a full grown Demogorgon.

Just the design of the body and darker colours, like this:

I wouldn't say it would be fair. Killers have free movement while survivors have to be unseen.

Race to the hatch would be if both parties can see the hatch. Left Behind's range is only 32 meters. Are you suggesting the range be unlimited if killer gets a similar perk?

1° "Killers have free movement while survivors have to be unseen" *Cries in GF, Myers and Demogorgon

2° "Left Behind's range is only 32 meters. Are you suggesting the range be unlimited if killer gets a similar perk?" Nope, same range

  • @BBQnDemogorgon said:

    Scoops Demogorgon pls

Besides that i just want more Demo skins and Elephant costume Clown.

Dude, the Elephant skin could be funny AH, I'd buy it ASAP!

For the Demogorgon I would only buy the D'artagnan's skin

  • @FancyMrB said:

Maybe Remember Me can not only increase the time it takes to open the exit gates, but could also delay the spawning of the hatch for 1-2 minutes for the last survivor?

And/or maybe if the last survivor is the obsession, the hatch will not spawn for them?

I think it would be cool if the killer had a hatch related perk :)

Dude, this would actually be great!

  • @Mr_K said:

"just cause it spawned right next to the last survivor"

I don't see how having a hatchstalker perk would of helped you in this situation. Was the escaping survivor running Left Behind? Would you really sacrifice one of your limited perk slots for such a perk?

The hatch always spawning is simply to prevent the last survivor from wasting time hiding. It's the the price we pay for not having to endure hatch standoffs or boring hide and seek.

It wouldn't help, but it would give a fair "race" towards the hatch, have in mind they're gonna know Exactly where it is

can you give me some useful tips to place the dream snares... where do you place them etc

Around loops, not at windows, close to pallets, near walls of structures where you know survivors run, actually, check your post, @BlueFang posted a video that gives you quite a good look at where dream snares should be placed

Why Steve Harrington is the male survivor in DBD and not Jonathan Bryers?

I'm currently watching Stranger Things, I'm in Season 1 Ep. 7/8 and, at the moment Steve haven't faced the Demogorgon or seen it, and as long as I know the Demogorgon die in Season 1, so for me the presence of Steve in DBD have no sense and Jonathan make more sense for me. Jonathan is the brother of the kidnapped boy, know the existence of the Demogorgon and tried to face it.

    Ahm... keep watching... LOL

  • @ColonGlock said:

Change Monstrous Shrine to Monsterous Hatch. 🙃

Yes! Almost nobody (*cries in Bubba) uses that perk!

  • @Kabu said:

As others have said. If the killer is doing well enough to get a kill early enough the odds of any survivors escaping is drastically reduced. For me, that threshold is killing one survivor before two gens are repaired.

@Kabu Actually lots of high rnaks tend to tunnel the first kill and then drastically change their behaviour to a "nice killer", still getting the 4k cause of the 1° death they got early on

  • This might help you:

Ruin + Discordance + Corrupt Intervention + Pop Goes the Weasel

I got rage messages every time, but that got me to rank 1 the first time

  • It's not the ideal, I think that number it's the average of kills per game, In my experience most games end up with 3/4 or 0/4 kills when I'm a survivor and 3/4 or 4/4 kills when I'm a killer and I'm not doing daylies. As others say 3/4 or 1/4 an average number of 2 is pure logical, which doesn't imply that is the number of kills per game in reality

  • Yep, this has happened to me lots of times, it's funny AH as the killer usually DCs the instant it gets destroyed in the first 3 minutes of the game

  • @xEa said:

Rank 20-17 or anything like that should be for BEGINNERS. I introduced this game to multible friends and they are all leaving because they simply have no interest in playing against people with 1000+ hours on their rank! Getting crushed by Survivor or Killers that are clearly more experienced is no fun for new players, and i dont see how this is still a thing in DbD. Another friend just uninstalled it only because of that reason.

Please devs, if you wanna hold new players, dont let them get crushed by players that are way better then them. Better today then tomorrow.

    Thank you for reading

I actually believe it has nothing to do with experienced players in low ranks, I'm saying this cause EVERY time I get to play against a lowrank killer we get tunneled or camped, therefore, experienced killers are better for the begginer survivors first experience, but on the other side, yes, low rank killers should ALWAYS play against people of their rank colour cause we purple or red ranks live of looping and breaking killer's ankles.

    C’mon.

It is a funny combo after all.

*breaks pallet* “No you didn’t blind me. Oops, you dropped something.”

I know it can work, but I feel it as a waste of a perk slot, it's like using small game when having a rainbow map, it's a combo, but it kinda feels wrong you know?

  • Freddy and Spirit main here (rank 8 right now, I'm usually a rank 1 by the end of every season):

    • I would recomend reading perks like Discordance to do mind games, go towards the highlighted gen, start teleporting, lure them off it and hit them without actually doing the teleport, works every time.
    • BBQ to know where to go and extra BP
    • NOED cause Freddy as a small killer tends to be perceived as a long lounge killer (he's not) so, extra speed and one hits get the trick
    • I would keep Blood Warden

I never use slowdown perks for gens like ruin cause I do believe Freddy is capable of killing everyone without them doing more than 4 gens in the right hands.

    • Use pallets in green, yellow and grey ranks
    • Use bloodtraps in purple and red ranks

  • @Dreamnomad said:

lol, did you bring both lightborn and franklin's demise that match?

*Proceeds to spit my coffee out of laughter

  • @ChezAndQuakers said:

I was just reading a discussion on how Spirit was balanced, and I agree. But some people were saying how she needed a nerf, others were saying that only her prayer beads add-on needed a nerf. So I was thinking, what do people find unbalanced? Iridescent head on huntress? Skeleton keys? Judith’s tombstone with a fragrant tuft of hair? Insta-Chainsaw on Billy and Bubba?

The only thing out of EVERYTHING in the game I find OP is Michael Myers hitbox (Xbox), I have thousands of videos breaking killer's ankles in purple and red ranks, but never Myers... His hits ALWAYS land....

  • @Leonardo1ita said:

Finally, after decades, people are finally realizing how strong the perk is, and (Surprise) is stronger than balanced landing.

Actually It's been 2 weeks since I haven't played dbd, and I want to know:

Main killers, how are things with Dead Hard (at rank 1?) ?

In purple and red ranks I'm used to people having deadhard, DS and Borrowed time so... I never do the second hit until they used Dead Hard, not quite useful in high ranks unless you get to go against a low rank killer by poor matchmaking

  • It's quite BS when playing solo, but if you're in SWF you sir have a bad team right there...

  • I don't know, I always get rage messages (rank 8 right now) for using NOED (Xbox), people don't get that I play for the pips, I break stuff, take my time, use portals every now and then (Demogorgon) to get BP in all "activities" you must take part on, and then, the end game begins, NOED + Remember me + Blood warden. Even though it's a strategy and not a "last resourse" people just don't get it

So much pallets that he actually runs out of tokens FOR pallets

God I'm gonna enjoy this map as him... Trust me, use the pallets addon and play The Game, only place them bottom floor, don't even bother chasing top floor, they'll get three gened and you'll be on a great game on pallet city (fake pallets city)

  • It's slugging and it's pretty common, it's either a tactic to slow down other survivors or the killer is being nice to you and won't hook you cause that would be tunneling (a shame the others didn't heal you though)

  • Happens to me every now and then, there has even been moments when I get 1 lagout, one game, one lagout, one game. It's not you

  • Perks - Nancy

    Looks - Steve

Logic = Unlock Nancy's perks then main Steve

  • Ahm... So... Like the Game... Freddy is gonna reign in it isn't he? Pallets, Pallets Everywhere!

  • We've been there... Always... Sometimes you even de-pip too...

There is one for Steve. But it is so underwhelming as the Nancy-one.

And Scoops Ahoy? and D'artagnan's skin for Demi?

  • @not_Queen said:

I am terrible at adapting my gameplay to my opponent's gameplay level.

I am used to face good players, and I get absolutely rekt by people who are newer to the game because I cannot predict their next movement properly and I rely a lot on mindgames.

''WHY ARE THEY HERE, IT MAKES NO SENSE"

Best way to get me with nurse? Never blink.

@not_Queen LOL! Been there, done that! When looping a killer I know routes, but sometimes THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO AND LOOSE ME! The fun fact there is that I run straight towards them every now and then.

  • Not running into teammates when looping the killer. Explanation: I'm a great looper, and killers tend to camp me after 4 gens loops cause they got mad, but the last days I've been running towards teammates by accident and making the killer change targets without me trying to do so... My teammates usually send me rage messages asking why I did that... I WAS ACTUALLY LOOKING BEHIND ME (at the killer)! SORRY!

  • Is there exclusive for Steve or Demogorgon?

  • Omg... I'm at work and haven't seen this... If this is true the DCs will increase tremendously

    @ArrowTheGreat11

I actually enjoy playing The Game, I used to hate it cause I could never find gens. I still hate Lerys though 😣

Same, The Game is awesome to play as Survivor and as Freddy with pallets

He didn’t get to hook anyone at endgame, we all were fairly good at being stealthy and if your lunge is scaring survivors into getting mind gamed then they aren’t good. The majority of red rank killers run ruin on every killer, experienced players usually have at least one slowdown perk and ruin is the typical choice.

Maybe I'm not the typical killer... I actually believe Ruin musn't be used unless the killer is actually bad AH (I mean the killer, not the player using him). I adore the thrill of NOED and the end game, but still. My point was to say that at high ranks, regardless of small game, pallets are useless, 7/10 times survivors know what to do (like dropping the pallets to slow down Freddy, not to stun him, therefore preventing it being fake pallets) so, either people deal with the fact of not using pallets at high ranks or we should start asking for addons to make them undetectable or something like that

  • His lounge IS the same as others, but his size is not, wich makes survivors feel as if it actually was a better lounge, which MAKES THEM MAKE MISTAKES all the time. It's not bad that he's running a specific perk, but experienced players know specific killers work better with specific perks, for example Billie with aura reading perks, Myers with "getting faster" perks, Hag with penalty for survivors perks, Nurse with proximity aura reading perks, etc. Freddy, in my gamestyle works better in the end game at high ranks, and this has to do with the perception of his speed and lounge survivors feel and with the fact that high ranks tend NOT to leave the match unless everybody can escape, so, keeping a hooked person will give you the end game you're looking for

  • Nope, keep the Ebony, just nerf them, kill instead of third hook, that's a fair trade, but give killers more BP per kill. I actually NEVER use moris cause of lack of BP they give...

  • That WASN'T a good freddy, RUIN? Really? With that speed, lounge and teleportation mind games (doing as if you were teleporting to lure survivors off the gens and into you)? I main Freddy (red ranks) and his game IS the end game build, Bloodwarden, Remember me, BBQ and NOED, that's all you need, never use blood pallets past purple ranks, that's what people never get.

  • @RakimSockem said:

As killer, I was playing Doctor and I came across a Jake who was pretty good at looping and was running Calm Spirit. He wasted a good chunk of my time the first time I hooked him, so the second time I finally caught him I camped his ass. Rest of the team tried to pull me away and ended up feeding me a 3k.

As survivor, is it considered toxic to 99% every hook on the map and then drop them every time the killer tries to hook someone? If so then.... yeah. I did that. Paid for it with my life, but it was worth it XD

Also as survivor, I guess this is a reportable offense but eh. My friends and I were playing with a random who was farming the hell out of them the entire match. Like legit pulling people off hooks with the killer 2 steps away. So they both died pretty quickly.

So when it was down to just me and the random, the random got hooked and I ran up, pointed at the random and the killer nodded and let me farm him (this was before safe unhook scores existed) because even the killer knew that ######### was farming our team the whole game. To be fair though, I let the killer kill me also after the random died. Clipped it on stream too XD

I still don't understand farming, I always run Borrowed Time and unhook regardless of where the killer is so...

Trapper--->With Bloody Coil and Bag add-ons

Agitation, Iron Grasp, Monstrous Shrine, any fourth perk.

    Triple trapping basement.

:D Free DCs and Black Pip.

It's rude asf to be honest and not the most fun thing...for survivors at least. Run for save? Trapped. Disarm traps? M1. Once in a while you'd get a Hex totem in there too...so...

    Fun.

I've done this before, add Iridescent Stone and they're doomed

  • When going against a rank 1 huntress and using balanced landing inside of the main house of Freddy's map (Badham Pre-school), I thought I was being chased but she was just standing still aiming across the hole of the house in the top floor... As soon as I rushed to that floor again, having the feeling of being chased in the bottom floor, she threw the axe to down me, it was the most "wow, you deserve this kill" moment of all my gaming DBD experience.

  • @survmain said:

Don't cleanse totems when only 1 gen left. Memorize their location and when last gen is done, cleanse the NOED totem. You normally have at least 50% of probabilities, usually 100%

@survmain What I do is run small game and callout totems with my SWF team, we usually do 3 safe totems and leave the last two knowing where the remaining 2 were

  • I'd love to have IT in DBD, they could even add skins as old or new Pennywise.

About your habilities, they're fine except for being ultra killer sided, I mean, a full fake gen repair, no dude, survivors are already crybabies, maybe fake gens, but as soon as they start them it explodes in red balloons exposing the survivor (not revealing him). The hook idea is just not gonna happen, no bots dude.

I'd love for him to be a shape shifter, like, he could have tiers as Myers and change depending of the tier.

  • I think I can help, and you'll laugh again and again, use that TO YOUR ADVANTAGE, check some No0b3 videos.

Run straight to the window, the killer knows he'll get the hit, and at the exact moment you were about to vault turn away from the window instead of vaulting it, the killer will miss the hit and then you can inmediatelly vault it leaving the killer with his/her/it's mouth wide open
