  • We need more aura colors. For generators, we only have red, yellow, and white, and yellow can mean a dozen different things at this point.

  • Cypress Mori should be basekit, and the Cypress and Ivory Moris should be updated to give 1 and 2 kills at death-hook, respectively, while Ebony Mori remains at killing all 4 survivors.

  • Killer offering should always be hidden to survivors unless it's a group BP bonus, to keep them guessing.

  • @Fuzzycube said:

I’d like a permanent daily bonus for each first match, once as survivor and once as killer since that’d incentive playing each role each day.

There is one, you get 300 bonus XP for the first match for each role you play, per day.

Though, personally, I think this bonus should be bigger.

  • Overwhelming Presence's effect could be doubled or even tripled and it still wouldn't be very good. It either needs an additional effect or a full rework.

Here's a crazy rework idea: a survivor performing a fast vault while in chase reduces their held item's charges by -20%.

I don't understand, the tail hit box is working fine for me...

Can I recommend a cross hair for you people?

I'm on console so no, you cannot.

  • First idea: Deadly Premonition. The map is Greenvale. Most of it is rain-drenched forest with storm clouds overhead and the fog tinged purple, and the occasional dilapidated building taken from a small rural American town, crawling with strange red vines.

Claudette is running between the trees, occasionally glancing back to a red-clad axe-wielding figure with glowing red eyes appearing between the trees with strikes of lightning, drawing closer every moment. Claudette heads for a building, diving through the doorway, but finds herself cornered with the killer slowly drawing closer, axe dragging along the ground behind him. Just as it seems he's about to charge, the Raincoat Killer is suddenly stopped by a pallet being dropped on him, forcing him to back off. A man in a suit, FBI Special Agent Francis York Morgan stands between the killer and Claudette, and they have a brief staredown before York turns and guides Claudette to the exit, while the Raincoat Killer unleashes a furious inhuman roar to the sky and tears the pallet to pieces with his axe.

As the two survivors escape into the woods and hide behind a tree, catching their breath, York raises a finger to his head and says to himself in his typical fashion, "Zach, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore." The glowing red eyes of the Raincoat Killer appear in the forest once again. Trailer ends.

Second idea: Dead Rising. In an abandoned shopping mall, Jill and Chris are running from the pursuit of Nemesis and his zombie entourage, dodging the undead and taking cover behind one of the many storefronts. Nemesis enters the room and gives his familiar "STARS..." line while the pair look at each other uncertainly. As Nemesis draws closer towards his targets' hiding place, preparing to flush them out, a flash of light is emitted from across the room, followed by a shout.

"Hey, ugly! Over here!" The camera turns to show Frank West, freelance photojournalist, his camera in hand. He yells again, "You want a piece, come get one of me!"

Incensed at being interrupted, Nemesis leaves the STARS members and immediately starts charging full speed at Frank, whose bravado very quickly drops, along with his camera. With a fearful, "Oh, crap!" he turns and starts sprinting away, a screaming Nemesis right behind him, before the trailer ends with a cut to black.

Third idea: Alan Wake. Being themed heavily around the art of writing and stories within stories, the trailer is verbally narrated by Alan Wake himself, who describes everything that happens. Alan Wake in actuality steps through the dark and now-foggy streets of Bright Falls with a flashlight in hand, while Narrator Alan describes how everything feels different, that the streets are familiar yet wrong, like a crude facsimile of reality. Survivor Alan spots Dwight sprint by, while Narrator Alan describes Dwight's appearance and shares his thoughts on what's going on around him. He acknowledges that while he's fought The Darkness a long time, the shadows and fog around him feel like a very similar but subtly different and unfamiliar Entity. Activating his flashlight, he enters the abandoned sheriff's office, and finds a half-repaired generator. Narrator Alan comments on the strangeness of the sight, but stops as he realizes a presence behind him. Turning, the flashlight's beam falls upon The Trapper, staring menacingly, accompanied by Alan's narrative prose describing the menacing figure. Alan shines his flashlight into the Trapper's eyes, which only inconveniences him. Realizing he can't fight this enemy like the others he had before, Alan turns to flee. The narration ends on a simple line from Alan: "The only things I could do were run, and hope." Trailer ends.

  • The trial is temporary, but glyphs are forever. i will at least let them finish getting the glyph if I catch them doing it.

Well I mean there is such thing as tunnelling during the end game please don’t start the killer main mental gymnastics with me in my opinion if you haven’t earned the kill during the game you don’t deserve the kill just because it’s end game but that’s just my opinion

I'm not a killer main, I'm not doing any mental gymnastics, and there is no such thing as "earned" or "deserved". If you get put on the hook and die, you lose; it doesn't matter how well you played beforehand, and it doesn't matter how badly the killer played either. Just because you reached the endgame doesn't mean you should get a risk-free escape, you haven't won until you've stepped through the exit gate and the killer is allowed to stop you from doing so.

  • The last few times I've played Xeno have felt awful. The low FOV makes some maps painful to go through, the tail is unreliable and I can barely tell where it's even aiming due to the strange angle and wonky hitbox, the flamethrowers add further disorientation, and you're harshly punished for every wrong move. It just doesn't feel rewarding at all to play this character, which is a damn shameful embarrassment that this is what one of the biggest IPs in DbD plays like.

What about letting decisive strike Being active end game ? Why should I do well all game and get tunnelled out by a blight end game with no protection I find that stupid in all fairness I’m so happy you guys are buffing this perk but I think all it needs is 5 second stun maybes if no end game it works twice per game ?

Why should I do well all game and get tunnelled out by a blight end game with no protection

There is no such thing as tunneling in the endgame.

  • Really? I had no idea. Never was a fan of Claudette so I never stopped to read her story, so I'm pretty ignorant.

I still think a man from urban Canada would be cool.

Player Cards added in the future that are based on ownership of characters, outfits, or progression achieved will be retroactively awarded to anyone who has already met that criteria. <3

All releases in 2024 and onward will include many more Player Cards that players can earn for free from a variety of new in-game and out-of-game methods, such as rewards from The Archives, giveaways on socials, Twitch Drops, and in-game Archives rewards.

If you're doing more Twitch drops then I hope you update them to work on Switch. Because I'd like to remind everyone that the Halloween Twitch drops were completely unavailable for Switch players to earn.

  • Gabriel is a cool survivor who deserves more cool things. And as the above post said, he doesn't have any Rare outfits. We've been lacking those for a lot of characters, I even made my own feedback about it.

Seriously though, the whole point of adding sci-fi chapters was to play with more sci-fi styled art designs. So do that!

  • Adam is one of my favorite survivors, but I do agree that I think it would be good to have another black male to play as for further visual variety. Having only Adam and Tapp has felt odd for a while now. How about another Canadian? So that Jeff doesn't have to be alone anymore. A man from Toronto, Montreal, or Alberta would be pretty good.

  • You don't need flashlights to play the game.

  • I know DbD's horror themes have dwindled over the years but this would completely kill it. This would make the game feel like a glorified match of Pac-Man. No thanks.

Wait so I can only swing in the end animation? And to swing earlier I need to let go?

Yes. The dash attack works somewhat like Hillilly's chainsaw.

  • 5% per token. Anything more would be too much.

Alternatively, add reduced blindness duration as well. Maybe reduced stun duration too.

  • @OnryosTapeRentals said:

    I'm also disappointed.

Feels kind of insulting for them to say "We know players love customisation" (paraphrased) on their livestream yesterday, just for them to launch player cards with only 1 customisation option.

1 customization locked behind 2 paywalls, at that.

  • Chucky has been more comedy-horror than straight horror for a long time now. He's ironically more human than a lot of other slashers, in spite of being a doll; he's not an invincible wall of fear, he's just a really awful person who likes hurting other people for fun, and only really keeps coming back because of luck.

  • @CrypticGirl said:

While I am as disappointed as everyone else that we have no default banners or badges to start with (like why?), they have said that they will be unlocked with rifts, login rewards, etc. During the livestream they showed the login reward calendar for December, and there were a couple of banners/badges shown. So that's one example.

Yeah, this is a bad start, but I'm confident that we'll build up our collection of banners and badges over time.

I'd be okay with this if we started with at least two or three badges and banners from the get-go. There is no excusing rolling out a new feature with not even a few goodies to actually use it with.

  • And now I've seen a survivor bot stand still in a corner long enough that it generated idle crows.

    The bots are idling.

  • They called it a rework but all they really did was move a wall and tweak one, maybe two tiles. Overall it's still exactly the same as it was before, with exactly the same problems.

  • Chucky has no facial animations on Switch. Other killers do, especially Spirit, so I don't believe it's a technical limitation.

  • I just died in a match because a bot body-blocked me into a corner while I was cleansing a Hex, because it wanted to heal me. It wouldn't leave me alone until the killer found us; the bot ran off and I got downed.

  • What's the point of adding a feature that has nothing in it? Not even a small handful of really basic options to start with, there's literally nothing. This is pitiful.

  • Wesker vault is almost completely worthless so I'd rather not have another one of those.

  • They added a feature but added nothing to use for it. Great.

  • This list makes me more worried than hopeful.

  • @Lost_Boy said:

Xeno just feels awful to play. The tail attack is so inconsistent that you can literally watch it go through the middle of the character model and not register. The slow down is too much for a miss and his power is way too weak to warrant being constantly attacked and harassed by flame turrets. Other ranged killers do what he does significantly better, but they don't have to deal with the god awful hit box detection, movement penalty, continuous staggering & having to constantly attack turrets so they aren't gimped.

Not to mention the very uncomfortable lower POV when in Crawler Mode. Playing Xeno on the Swamp maps is awful.

You got it switched up brother.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/AQP15OSU5BSW/image.png

Buckle up makes WGLF completely irrelevant.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/B0V8K3M1U706/image.png

Yes... a perk that has no token requirements (Buckle up, Permanent free value) is that much stronger than a perk that requires tokens.

Buckle up shouldn't have been buffed.

I know what the effects are. What I was saying is what I would change the perks into. Because yes, Buckle Up being so much better than WGLF is a problem.

  • Dredge, of all killers, does not need a nerf. Especially not respawning locks.

  • Making Chris and Claire into Legendary skins was definitely a mistake. Imagine how much better Project W would have been if it gave us the Redfield siblings as fully-fledged survivors, instead of Ada and Rebecca.

I also feel the same about making James Sunderland a legendary skin for Cheryl.

  • I wouldn't switch off the fast heal of Buckle Up, but I would switch the Endurance effects. WGLF lets you heal dying survivors faster and if you've been altruistic in the past, it rewards the both of you with Endurance on pick-up. Buckle Up solely awards Endurance to the picked up survivor, making it easier but doesn't benefit the user. That is much healthier if you ask me.

  • It's not cheating, but it is definitely an advantage. There is a reason every content creator uses it.

  • 100% deserved. It shouldn't have been made, and it definitely shouldn't have taken this long to nerf. As the above post said, it has helped create an agonizingly boring meta.

  • I'm very hesitant to buy him when he launches. As fun as he looked on the PTB, I'm expecting him to get nerfed within one or two months after launch. It's a question of how much he'll be nerfed.

I do really want the blinding perk though, that sounds incredibly funny to use.

  • @Beatricks said:

    It's really not that inconsistent.

The beginning of the game is the weakest point for the Killer, survivors have every resource available on the map, perks, items etc.

Endgame is the strongest point for the killer. Resources have been used up, survivors are potentially dead, strong perks have been disabled, anticamping disabled, NOED still exists for some bizarre reason, etc. Survivors need every help they can get.

Survivors need every help they can get...to continue winning the game they're already winning?

  • @mikewelk said:

MfT isn't even going to be run that often. It's been obliterated into the ground. No point panicking about something no one will run. To end up with a deep wound during endgame against a majority of the killers is impossible and, therefore, it isn't a free stack.

Batteries Included and NOED provide killers with exposed and haste which can turn the tide of the entire game. I don't know why you didn't provide the haste effects of those two combined because it'll really show how effective those two were together.

Have you never been unhooked in the endgame, get hit off hook by the killer, and immediately run your way over to an exit gate and escape? Ever? Because that's happened to me a good number of times, on both sides of the game.

  • Blighted Dredge has potential to look amazing. Aside from it, Blighted Deathslinger please. Have it melt his skin off and make him a skeleton cowboy.

  • Knight needs an overhaul to how he's coded into the game, because it's incredibly janky and barely functional.

  • @Foempticol said:

Original, and hopefully female. We've had too many male survivors lately

Too many males? Project W gave us Ada and Rebecca, Tools of Torment gave us Thalita, and Alien gave us Ripley. The male survivors we've received are Vittorio, Renato, Gabriel, and Nic Cage. That's 4 females to 4 males, an even split. Granted, Project W was over a year ago, but still, the roster is mostly even.

  • Fun effect, very impractical to use due to its overly stringent requirements.

  • @Mew said:

No, and ill go a step further and say buckle up is the problem.

whats the point in ever running WGLF or new MFT when Buckle Up exists?

Yeah, Buckle Up is the problem. They overtuned that perk. I'd greatly prefer if it did anything else, they should have buffed the old version instead of replace it.

  • Nope. Needs to be patched out.

  • Your Grade has nothing to do with matchmaking. Having an Iridescent Grade doesn't mean you're getting matched with players of the same Grade, matchmaking is based on your Matchmaking Rating which is an invisible stat.

  • @Avo said:

DH can be as follows: the ability to use it again if you miss once, in short, it regenerates until the killer hits you while you are in the endurance effect.

That is how DH works. DH doesn't deactivate until it's successfully used, it becomes available again as soon as the Exhaustion wears off.

Also Iron Will is fine. Just because you're not completely silent doesn't mean you're not extremely quiet. Killers only notice you if you're hiding right next to them.

  • @WitchWalpurga said:

It's so much fun to play against a xeno at hawkins when 95% of the map are turret-no-no zones. And if you find a small spot to place one, it's surronded by walls to minimize the effectiveness to 5% :D...

That one control station that spawns in the upstairs offices but the halls and rooms are too cramped to put a turret down...
