The repair speed doesn't need to be nerfed. Revert that and it will be an okay perk that's good for survivors who prefer taking chase over repairing.
-
Twins and Trickster.
Feng and Mikaela.
-
Yes, it extends unhook Endurance and Haste to 20 seconds.

An increase in the overall bloodpoint gains is cool, but WITH WGLF and BBQ reverted.
What happened to those perks is unacceptable.
Even if WGLF was reverted I don't think people would use it when we have Buckle Up which is objectively superior.

Most survivor activities should award more points. Generator repairs should give more points, heals should give more points, protection hits should give more points, opening chests should give more points (treasure!), even maps should give more points. And the pip system is garbage and should be reworked.
I'm fine with killers consistently earning a lot of points because killers have to do a lot of things every match, it's part of the role, but survivors should be earning more points themselves too.
-
Deadly Premonition, featuring Francis York Morgan as the survivor, the Raincoat Killer as the killer, and the town of Greenvale as the map. Though the tough part is the Raincoat Killer doesn't really have a power to work with (all he does is swing an axe around), and Deadly Premonition is an extremely niche title, so it's unlikely to ever happen.
Alien was my other dream chapter but that didn't turn out so well. They could make an Aliens chapter and give me a Hadley's Hope map and one or two of the Colonial Marines as survivors, that'd make me happy.
-
At least the cosmetic descriptions are longer now. Still very blandly written though, I'm starting to wonder if they have an AI write these instead of humans.
-
Please just put a hook on the 2nd floor of the main building. It badly needs it, I hate survivors going up there with Boil Over and Unbreakable in that one little sideroom where it can be impossible to reach a hook in time.
Add a hook to the school basement of Badham too, had a match there recently where it was a TTV SWF using that build and all running to the basement whenever I started chase with them. Had to slug them all to death, it was a miserable experience.
-
I'll give Skull Merchant for Background Player alone, and throw in Trickster in exchange for Head On.
-
I do really like that Zarina outfit. I dislike how many of her cosmetics dye her hair, I'm not a fan of dyed hair, so seeing something more natural looks great. Love the camera she's wearing too, I prefer the outfits that make her look like a journalist.
But yes, once again we get more backpacks. Someone on the art team is definitely obsessed with them.

Probably more because it denies solo queue players the basic information that they need to play the game.
I still don't understand why this idiotic status effect is still in the game.
I play nothing but soloQ for the past year and I ave almost never used WoO. You don't need it. You can learn to play the game without it.
-
Nothing kills a game harder than unchecked hackers.
-
They aren't that hard. If you're really that unwilling to touch killer for a couple hours to do them then it's a you problem.
-
Tail feels awful to use, I feel less punished for missing when I play Deathslinger.
-
I think the winter event is really screwing with the spawn logic of maps. Killer objects are also spawning extremely weird.

I'm just waiting to see how much backlash that FOV slider is gonna cause. Currently shadowborn has over a 40% usage rate on Blight. Ppl aren't gonna be happy when Blights swap it for a slowdown perk or something.
People aren't gonna be happy with Blights regardless, so I don't see how it matters.

I have never heard of Dark Deception and a quick Google search shows me pictures of spooky blood-splattered mascot outfits so it's safe to assume it's strongly inspired by FNAF. In that case, why would I choose a derivative that is barely known over the famous original it takes inspiration from?

Gothic Fantasy would be so awesome. Like a Castlevania chapter or something.
This, this would be much easier to work with. Gothic is classic.

DBD just stops being scary the more you play it, I don't think it would be so out there to have non-human survivors
Sure, DbD stops being scary, but it should still feel creepy. It should still maintain some kind of aesthetic of menace and dread. But it would be completely impossible to take seriously if Legolas was running around with a flashlight and fixing generators. Dwight dressed as a Christmas elf is one thing, but a literal elf would be another.
-
I think it'd a bad idea. DbD's horror themes have been gutted enough already, having elves and dwarves running around would kill it completely and the atmosphere would become a farce.

let me hit some other person that's not trying to body block and take a free hit but rather keeping their distance, while chasing my target real quick with my *checks notes* hatchets as wraith or gf.
"Just injure everyone" is the new "Just wait it out".
With an addition of an actual "Just wait it out" thanks to the 10 seconds of Endurance.

lol that pretty much force hesitation in nutshell. Completely worthless 99% of the time unless u force hook trades. Then it become quite dirty
I had a great moment with Forced Hesitation where, at 3 survivors left and 1 on hook, I downed one which slowed down the nearby last one who was running to do a hook trade, and I just barely caught them just a split second before they could reach the hook. It can be situational, but it's a ton of fun when it works.

idk but i can tell you one thing! I'm ready to overhype any perk that look even slightly usable because welllll....
Every new perk is either busted or worthless, no in-between, and sometimes new perks are simultaneously both.

I think the same, but currently BW is only for predrop god pallets, and open shortcut for both side.
There could be more, something like breaking BW give survivors a hidden chest (pretty much the only thing that survivor can not have without affecting the game play) and give killer another benefit (I dont know how breaking a BW give killer benefit beside opening a shortcut and deny predrop god pallet)
At this point, the only way to add depth of gameplay for BW is survivors can spend time to rebuild BW.
What if some BWs were doors? They start open for everyone, and a survivor must take time to close and lock it, so it can't be done mid-chase, it must be prepared ahead of time. When it's closed, the killer can break through it like normal and remains permanently broken, or a survivor can open it again if they want to.
-
I hated playing against him before, I hate playing against him now, and I hate playing as him because he still feels awful to aim with on console.
-
I'm still hoping for Frank West or Alan Wake. But I'd be happy with an original survivor too, so long as they have a decent story behind them.
-
I don't think it's a failed concept, the concept is fine. The problem is BHVR's map design does little or nothing good with that concept.
-
While I like the ideas, the execution of the mechanics has been quite flawed, but a lot of those issues have been mentioned already. Snowmen, snowskulls, visuals, controls, BP rewards, etc.
My biggest complaint with the event is the Tome. With the addition of the Trinket system, I'm not sure what the point is to stagger the releases of the Tome pages now, why not make everything available from the beginning so players can work through them at their own pace, earning Trinkets and buying cosmetics as you go?
Also, I find it disappointing that I can't complete Jeff and Wraith's Christmas outfits until Christmas is already over. Everything should have been moved up a week; what's the point in dressing up as Santa after the holiday?
On a smaller note, I think the Tome should offer more Trinkets than are strictly necessary to buy everything in the shop, so that players are permitted to skip a few challenges here and there, but still demanding enough to require completing the majority of the Tome, just not 100% completion. For casual events like these, offering some wiggle room would be good.

I saw three tunnels on Haddonfield, all spawned in the garden in the corner of the map, all within a roughly 10m radius, just like the image in the OP.
What's even the point of playing the killer like that? I tried a handful of Xenomorph matches and my tunnel spawns bordered on worthless.
-
In my experience, the tail barely goes over vaults and pallets anyway. With how weirdly the tail aims now, especially on console, I can't tell where it's going to hit half the time.
-
Hopefully they take the time during this bugfix to also fix up his guards' pathing and his other bugs and jank that makes him feel really awkward to play. I doubt it, but i can hope.
-
They could add some cosmetics based on RE4R, maybe draw from the CGI movies for more outfits, but that's all. Jill's winter uniform from Umbrella Chronicles? Leon's Operation Javier uniform from Darkside Chronicles? I'd be fine with it, but it is starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel. Claire has a lot of different outfit options but she's only a skin, same for Chris. It's an unfortunate lack of hindsight they made the Redfields skins instead of full characters.
-
You aren't supposed to be perfectly unhookable, because that would ruin game balance.
-
Agreed. Booting up DbD takes long enough.
-
I personally don't like being affected by Franklin's Demise.
You're not supposed to.

It doesn't need 3 tokens for free. Stsrt with 1 and have a recharge or start with 3 and no recharge.
It used to start with 3 and had no recharge. Nobody used it because you ran out of charges in the first few minutes of the match and then you spent the rest of the trial with 3 perks. It was trash. Then they added the recharge mechanic.
If I had to nerf Distortion, I'd make it like Stake Out: start with 0 charges to a max of 4, charge tokens for hiding within the killer's TR, doesn't recharge in chase.
-
I wouldn't say it's OP but I do find it extremely unenjoyable to play against. I get out of that match ASAP.
-
The medkit nerfs were enough. Maybe even a little too much. If anything, some small tweak buffs are needed.
-
I'm on Switch, which already has terrible performance, and Nostromo is noticeably worse than most other maps. It seems to be a problem with newer maps in general, because the reworked Shelter Woods and Toba Landing also have this problem for me, even with FSR enabled.
-
Who cares about the killer DCing? It gives all the survivors a free win when they do. Take your points and move on to the next match.
-
Xeno feels horrendous to play. The tail's hitbox prioritizes hitting anything but the survivor and it feels like it doesn't even aim for the center of the screen so the aim is always off by just enough to make you hit walls and pallets instead of the survivor you're trying to hit. The cooldown is also incredibly slow, it's like your turn into ice for missing. Not to mention how disorienting it is to have your POV shift to 2 feet off the ground, and then getting constant flamethrowers in your face.
He doesn't feel good, ever. I've been seriously trying but it's just not working out, he feels like an easily bullied dog.

These are how my games are going when I play Feng Min, especially in the pink bunny outfit. Jill (in the swim outfit), Claire and Heather, I get let go. I've no idea.
They focus on me and only me and ignore my teammates when they interfere, put the flashlight in killers face, etc. It's really creepy.
Often times this causes them to lose, they can't tunnel me successfully as long as my teammates are on generators.
I don't know what their issues are but as I said before, it just seems like we are a punching bag for someone's irl problems/issues in game sometimes.
Feng Min is just a really easy character to hate. Her "hardcore toxic gamer girl" personality and tacky "kawaii" cosmetics coupled with a reputation for attracting toxic players has made a lot of killer players resent her. Nea is in the same boat. Obviously your choice in survivor has no real bearing on your personality or playstyle but reputations accumulate regardless.

Tip: Read the wiki.

As others have said, there are info and tracking perks that aren't countered by Distortion and Calm Spirit. Whispers isn't countered by anything, it always works.

Today's reward is a banner, not a badge. Are you sure it's not in the banner menu?

As stated in the OP, I don't want to have to be ready to record every match, and (not stated in the OP) not everyone can record easily. People can have fine reasons to go in Anon, but everyone else has equal if not better reasons to avoid someone who needs to hide behind a veil.
No, you don't have good reasons. You're just justifying your paranoia.
-
MMR isn't real. I can die 10, 20, 30 matches in a row as survivor and still get thrown to P100 Blights and Nurses on the next one.
-
Anon Mode doesn't hide them from DbD's report system. Report them for cheating or abusive behavior and move on. Scrutinizing people in lobby as "suspicious" for being anonymous, when people have perfectly good reasons to be anonymous, is pure paranoia.
-
I wonder what happened to that anti-slugging mechanic they announced a million years ago?
They tested it. It was horrible.

It's so funny to me how consistently they give outfits backpacks even when it makes no sense. I think Haddie's monster slayer outfit is probably the most egregious example.
I wouldn't call it lazy per se as they are technically giving themselves extra things to model I just think it's too formulaic. They should be more willing to branch out and experiment, give us full helmets/masks that fully cover the face or more interesting designs on the back of shirts/jackets, Ace's bomber jacket comes to mind as a great example of this.
When we buy a cosmetic we want to see our character model and not have it be blocked by giant backpacks that aren't interesting to look at. It should be common sense but somehow they keep making the same mistake over and over.
They put a backpack on Vittorio's Santa outfit, and a backpack on Jake's Halloween werewolf outfit. Even holiday cosmetics aren't safe from unnecessary baggage. Not to mention the new Dwight cosmetic; it's supposed to be him as a store clerk for a games shop, why does he have a backpack? What clerk wears a backpack?
