I was under the impression the hatch does not count towards escape rates and other statistics.
-
Imagine if map offerings were flipped so that instead of increasing likelihood of getting the map, it eliminated it from the map pool instead so it wouldn't be played.
-
Yeah it's gonna get nerfed, if you wanted Vecna only for that perk then don't bother.
-
I'm fine with basekit yellow Mori. But that's all I want.

The only names shown are the survivor names. He isn't complaining about them.
He originally posted their steam profiles in the OP. They've been removed.
-
Currently in a killer queue. 10 minutes and counting.
-
We definitely have room for a full fire-themed killer. Imagine if their power was setting windows and pallets on fire so that survivors are injured if they vault them. Or a damage-over-time mechanic like Plague's sickness, but with flames. I hope it's an idea they try out at some point.

Dead Rising, and Twin Peaks.

I'm pretty happy with the depiction of Dracula as well. It's Castlevania Dracula but it calls back a lot to Dracula's original stories and lore, much as Castlevania itself does, so it feels like a tribute to the character that extends beyond just merely Castlevania.
@DeBecker said:
Its not Dracula. Its a twisted castlevania adaption. I am really disappointed that they used castlevania as a coop to introduce a vampire killer instead of creating an original killer based on the real legend of Dracula. (nothing against castlevania itself). I think this was a really poor decicion as they had the big chance to bring the first "real horror legend" into the game. Now its just another game-coop adaptation that ruins the original with this compilation of powers that doesnt fit to the original.
Literally everything Dracula does in DbD is what he does in the original novel by Bram Stoker, with the exception of the Hellfire spell.
-
Incredibly disappointing because Xenomorph is terrible to play, any fun to be had is choked out of the killer by janky controls, low to the ground FOV, and the flamethrower turrets. And the Alien map has bad performance on console.

The DBD Community is already full of whiny children, adding FNAF will change literally nothing
If anything, FNAF fans will improve things because the FNAF fandom isn't obsessed with its own misery.

We'll have to see if the queue DOES fix itself with time, I am scared it won't.
I also think, come on now, we should be able to pip. Why the heck can't we pip? :( We could every other mode…
It's gonna be funny when the monthly reset ticks over and a bunch of people will realize they never got out of Bronze or even Ash ranks.
-
Tired of 5-minute killer queue times while trying to do tome challenges.
-
Larian wants nothing further to do with D&D so I don't think they'd be open to collabs.
-
The new theme may be killers with multiple powers, but the other new theme is guaranteeing all of those powers are extremely clunky and unsatisfying to use. So that way, no one is happy, so it's balanced(?)

It doesn't help that the forums seem to be broken and I can't report all the insults and personal attacks being slung around.

Based on BHVR's recent trend, they could add an outdoor section to the map. Whatever they do, I really hope that there's gonna be a map, and that it will do the FNAF chapter justice :)
Aw yeah, can't wait to get stabbed to death by Legion in the Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria parking lot. The most realistically feasible horror in the game.

Just as market research trends suggest. Consumers (especially younger U.S. consumers) are putting more importance on social responsibility and ethics of companies. They are selective to patron an establishment that does not align with their views.
Interesting to see on this week of The Forums.
You know these forums represent only 0.001% of the DbD community, at best. Everywhere else, people seem pretty excited and celebratory. Most people don't care. It's only here I see anyone acting outraged, because people here love to get outraged over literally everything.

It's 10 year anniversary this year. The original game was released August
5th8th 2014My mistake, you're correct.

I really, really hope that BHVR gives us a map from one of the 3 original games. They would be so amazing 😍
And yeah, I'm really happy that FNAF is finally coming to DBD! I've been wanting this for so long 😊
I'm not sure how you can stretch a pizzeria into a DbD-sized map without being completely silly about it, but I welcome them to try. They could use the mall from Security Breach but that place had very poor atmosphere, in my opinion, so I would prefer not.
-
FNAF's 10-year anniversary is next year. Their 9-year anniversary is in 3 days.
-
I guess it's about time. I don't have any complaints. It's more horror than D&D was.
-
The buffs will increase him from upper D-tier to lower C-tier, unless locker RNG screws him then he remains the same.
And that's being charitable.
-
Knight was already nerfed to bottom-tier, if you can't handle him now then it's on you.
-
Considering how badly they ruined Knight, I'm not looking forward to their "tweaks" for more killers I like, like Dredge and Nemesis.

It is really bad. If your mates are not doing gens then the game is lost
That goes for regular DbD too.
-
I think all of these special game modes should have XP bonuses attached alongside the BP bonuses so that there is a more significant reward for putting up with these obviously unbalanced and silly game modes.

Vecna in Dead by Daylight has actually some "rune" on his back, at his neck level i think. This is not fom DnD and i think the developers said that the entity did put that rune on Vecna as a way to "nerf" him because he was that powerful.
If we take Castlevania's Dracula lore into account, he would also need a similar rune to nerf him because he is just the counterpart of God on those games.
That depends on if Entity has captured Dracula or if Dracula is involved in the trials by his own will. I made a post a while back where I imagined Dracula is in the trials intentionally and siphons power from them for himself to help fuel his resurrections. He may be aiding the Entity at the same time but I doubt that would matter to him, he's just here for some juice.

Hundreds of employees for an extremely simple game but it somehow can't function properly for longer than a month.

Ah, finally survivors have the equivalent of what it must feel like to suddenly go down to NOED…. ;)
Still, it's kind of sad that a bug this egregious makes people feel more satisfied about the game. Well, except for the killers of course.
Of course people are satisfied, being handed wins you otherwise didn't deserve is satisfying for most people because most people like winning.
-
Alright, bye.

Anime characters in DbD would probably look really bad and out of place, so chances are no, I wouldn't touch it.

symphony of the night Dracula skin
I mean it’s castlevania after all
This better be his default design. It's his most iconic and his most-used.
They could use his original form from Lament of Innocence, back before he first became Dracula and was known by his original name, Mathias Cronqvist.
It wouldn't make much sense, but they could also give him a skin based on his human reincarnation Soma Cruz.
@MechWarrior3 said:
Oooooooh! I am not really sure because I don't know much about him other than that he is a vampire LOL…I wonder what his powers will be. I know he was powerful
Castlevania's Dracula is insanely powerful, he's almost a god of evil and chaos. The Grim Reaper himself is Dracula's right-hand minion. People thought Vecna was too strong for the Entity to control and I'd argue Dracula is even stronger than him.

Absolutelly true, but people who get their killer soft deleted from the game will either stop playing or gravitate towards resentment picks, which are either meta like blight or nurse or just annoying like SM.
So that means less fun matches for everyone, until at least all effective/not fun killers are nerfed which is very unlikely.
People need to remind themselves that there were much worse killers than Knight, and that pushing Knight players to the worse options is not a happy ending for anyone.
-
Other survivors can't see your aura if they're in chase.
-
I want the devs' statement as to how Knight is supposed to be played, because they went out of their way to punish or invalidate almost every playstyle he has, except camping generators.

Difference is, Killers get to see what the Survivors are bringing in, item wise, so they get to at least make an informed decision before readying up. Survivors don't get the same treatment. They just have to prey it's not an overpowered killer, or the same killer they just faced.
I'll take at least knowing who I'm facing so I can decide if I want to bother with the match.
I'll take at least knowing who I'm facing so I can decide if I want to bother with the match.
And killers want to see SWFs, so they can decide the same. Now everyone is a full-time lobby shopper and queue times are hell, forever.

We really gonna act like the minimum path length is a bad change? And map of the realm partial basekit?
minimum path length
Is bad, yes.
map of the realm partial basekit
Is worthless, because partial still isn't good enough and guard detection was nerfed on top of it anyway. Along with every other nerf that more than cancels out any slightly good thing he received.
-
Make him quieter, especially during Nightfall. Spawn special lockers in killer belongings locations like others have suggested. Make him faster while charging Remnant and reduce the darkness visual effect because blinding myself to use my power sucks. Make Haddie's Calender partial basekit.
I'm fine with toning down Nightfall's darkness effect for survivors but in exchange I want Dredge to have outright invisibility at a distance during Nightfall like what Spirit, Freddy, and Sadako have but way better. He shouldn't glow during Nightfall either, in fact no one should except from Dredge's perspective.
-
You don't even play Knight.

oops, lost my flashlight
better throw the game

That‘s simply not true. I play on PlayStation and I never got such problems and I also play on 100 sensitivity, which is the highest. You could just use a slower sensitivity if it‘s too fast for you and it would be good to have different types of sensitivity options like in his cams.
If I lower sensitivity, it also affects every other killer I play with, making the game harder to play. Not a viable solution. Glad you can somehow work the magic to make precise camera aiming with joysticks work, but the rest of us have problems.
-
The only slightly valid reason for it is to help console players, and even then there's obviously better solutions for them that don't unnecessarily make singularity easier, such as increasing sensitivity in biopods
The entire problem is that the biopods are too sensitive, to the point it makes tracking survivors impossible because the slightest twitch sends the camera looking at a different country. Gently guiding the camera to follow the survivor to lock-on to them is extremely difficult with a joystick.
But keep up that elitism, it's real endearing.

Only good thing about this rift are the free shards and additional pages of bloodpoints, as well as the recolors.
The rest however is pretty bad, especially the Yui skin.
Agreed. The new cosmetics are tacky, out of place, clashing, and just plain silly.

I'm pretty sure BHVR will be adding more deep rift cosmetics over time.
Why else would they give themselves 200 deep rift nodes? Also there's two nodes around the sixties that are empty for no reason, I'm assuming David or Victtorio's deep rift stuff goes there and the leftovers bleed into the extra space.
I understand this is BHVR we're talking about, but I'm certain that's what they're doing.
Maybe they'll even start making deep rift versions of older rift outfits that were released before the deep rift existed?
@CrypticGirl said:
Yeah, I was disappointed that there's 200 levels, but after Tier 85, they're all so…empty. 😭
The extra Deep Rift levels are there so that Rift Fragments can still have value to players who complete the Rift early, even if it's small value.

I always say this: tweak Hemorrhage so that healing regression only occurs while running. This lets Solidarity and Resurgence work without requiring special coding, and it'll barely impact the status effect beyond that.
-
I'll welcome anything that could improve Switch performance.

I'd buff it to +30% skillcheck chance while injured, and add +15% chance while uninjured.
