I dont play for hooks or kill. I play as how I feel its fun if I was a survivor. As no Gen slow down, its really boring to extend M1 time. Here are my play styles.
- I used to do double hook and let them escape, but rarely do nowaday. Unless some survivors are completely potatos.
- Use End game build. I never last hook someone before the last Gen done. Put a true last test on survivors.
- Use Slug build. But unlike OP, if all down. I will hook them all and end the game (dont worry I use Deer stalker).
- Use Expose build. Make your choice, Haunted ground, Noed, Dragon grip, Devour hope, Startruck...I play normally with this build.
- Use all Hex. Only there is an event. I also do double hook and let them escape.
2 - 3 - 4 options, which one is your most favorite killer to face?
Option 1. But if not then Option 2 lol.

Low mmr players are savage, they will let someone be slugged an entire game and not help. So you usually have to pick them up yourself, lol. Even survivor mains are better at killing than the killer. Think about it, can you pull them off a hook yourself? Their fate isn't even in my hands when I am playing nice.
Absolutely accurate. 1 in 5 survivors died my last 1k no kill challenge ... they died because of first hook or bleed out exactly as you described. The low mmr survivors dont care/understand someone is on hook or on the ground lol.

I usually 2 hooks each and let survivors escape. Which is if Im able to 2 hooks each of them too fast, I have to hold back and act like a noob to make it not obvious that I want to farm / mercy. Many times it didnt work and survivors extend their Gen too long.
Slug play doesnt make it obvious that you dont play to kill. Make them think you play for 4 men slug and force them to work hard. Though needs a high tier Killer or slug build to not make the game too easy.
I actually like slug play alot, the game is always super tense (unless God Nurse / Blight with infectious fright or let all 4 bleed on the ground)
Yes I enjoy both of those playstyles as well. Sometimes I pick a area of the map and defend it all game. Sometimes I play "Item Collector". Sometimes I Reverse Face Camp (Where you follow them all game and kill at the end). There are lots of fun games you can make out of DBD.

I run 1 perk, Lightborne, I role play on every map, sometimes I am a Bartender, sometimes I am at a Nurses Station. I also Play with sound off while I watch the Dota International and LOL Worlds. So its all good.

But doesn't the game count that as a kill? So it'll hurt you becoming the lowest.
The real point is me showing love by not killing, the low mmr is the reward. If people dont want the 5k or want to lower their own mmr, then thats acceptable. Squid Pro Roe.

Ive done 1k games this way before, so I got the itch to do 50 with each killer which is at least 1250 lol. I hope I run into you as well. Ironically I am already IRI.

It depends on the survivor. Everyone runs differently. Are they looking back at me like I am Leo Decaprio? Then I wait until I am close or they enter a narrow tile. I like to M2 for both first and second hit. But m1 into a m2 is ideal. Every survivor runs different and getting used to 360's takes a while. So to answer the question, if the survivor is just running in a strait line, go for it.

So I save my 6 Portals. If I dont need them I dont use them. If the game gets down to 2 gens left, then I pick my 3 gen. 1 on top of each gen (So I can see if they are on the gen), 1 close to each gen but hidden Ideally in the middle of Gen 1&2 2&3 3&1. If that makes sense. I have never lost a game using portals this way.

I actually found your profile on the statistics site (hope you don't mind) and it says you put 215 hours on DBD in the last two weeks. That's almost 15 hours and a half of DBD per day.
Yea those are all live hours too lol. Im not padding anything. Basically I watch Youtube/Twitch while I play DBD, so I have the sound off and I am playing most games on Auto Pilot.

Yea the crazy thing is I enjoy DBD even more now lol. Since SBMM DBD has been a super happy no stress place to play as killer.

I homeschooled, took care of Chickens, Rabbits, cooking and cleaning. I will say my Family was especially patient the last week of my push. Killer ques are longer than they used to be and you'd be surprised what you can get done in 8 mins LUL

I play with no addos and no sound 85% of my games. I mention this because its why these perks are my favorite. Hoarder (For Long term information and to be nice to survivors), Lethal Pursuer (The quicker you get rid of pallets the stronger Demo Becomes), Bamboozle (Cause it changes how Tiles and Loops work), and Lightborne (Because no sound).

I responded before you edited your post but thanks for the update.
410 hours, 67 downs per hour (since that's your tryhard mode, that's the optimal number) gives us 27,470 downs, and assuming 1 down equals 1 hookstate that gives us 2,289.16... kills, roughly 572 games worth. That's giving us roughly 13 games per day - still a big time investment, with your given average lengths.
Yea it was literally like playing a lifetime of Demogorgon in only 41 days lol. Thing is I love him more now and I am far better at him than when I started. One famous Demo Player said it took him a year to get to 10K. So ... IDK but I am happy.

No Offense taken. My family was very supportive as I was doing the challenge especially in the last week. On the last 48 hours I pulled a all nighter to pass the current leader before they could see. I am a house husband, I cook, clean, homeschool and I am very lucky. Thank you for your question. I guess the biggest takeaway is a sense of pride and accomplishment. Its been over a decade since I was #1 in any game and it feels good to be able to say, in this one Statistic for a little while I was #1.

Its as accurate as your Steam achievement count. Thats where the numbers come from.
On top of that I personally kept track in notebook form, excel form, I streamed a bit of it, And both sites are incredibly accurate.

That link takes you to the site, not your personal stats - and you're still not telling us how you know you're #1 for Shreds. Where are you getting your information - is it tracked through a third party site, DBD internal statistics, or what? You seem to be referencing a leaderboard, but where is it?
Gonna run my maths for a second: my friend who watches my killer games on discord says my games average at 8 minutes, and from my self-assessment I usually 3K with 10-11 hooks - I'll make it more optimal with 8 minutes and 12 hooks just to make it a bit simpler.
To get the same as OP claims I'd have to get 1,500 games done (assuming each down is a hook state) in 41 days: at 8 minutes per game, 12,000 minutes in total - 200 hours - which comes to 4.9 hours of playing Demogorgon per day. Same rough number of games xEa calculated, I'm glad that seems to imply my maths aren't too off, but the time investment just seems nuts; I can't help but rotate killers.
With the added claim of 200+ games per week, that actually comes out to fewer games per day than you'd expect - around 29 total. 250 games per week would be what we're looking at - where's my wolf's whistle?

You math is wrong. When I am trying I get 67 downs a hour, most of the time I am not trying. My Average game is more like 18-25 mins. lets do some Math ok. I am just a monster so please dont be hard on me.
410 Hours
Times 67 Shred Downs
Equals 27K.
So based upon the hours played and my Shred Downs I hit the Record with a Average of 40 Shred downs a hour, or 13 per game.

Assume you 4K every round and get max hooks every round (12) you have to play on average 37 games per day only with Demogorgon. Even if you slug a lot, this would still be an insane number. I dont think i ever played 37 games on a single day and i considere myself addicted ^^
I play between 25-50 games a day. My record is 250 games in 1 week. My playstyle is friendly killer main. I only kill competent teams, and let kind & New players go. I probably am in the bottom 25% of kills by killer in the last 3 months.

Let's take a guess and assume each match takes around 15 minutes of his time on average between play time matching and everything else.
15 x 1000 = 15000 minutes
15000 / 60 = 250 hours
Edit: I misread the Context plz ignore my comment. Dont forget to add in 8 min que time AND my games tend to average 22 mins.

Thank you for asking. Yes I had a blast for the most part. I didnt know when I started SBMM would start half way through my challenge. It was nice to see how the game changed for the better. Now I get to play with Newer players who could use some kindness to help develop their love for the game and community. If playing positive isnt intended then I have no idea how I would play =).

I never 1 time farmed. But thank you for asking. My Intent going into the Game was to do your first quote ("Basically I was trying to get points, give survivors points and prevent as few kills as possible.:"). My execution was to NEVER ever farm with survivors which was your comment (Working with Killer/Survivor? Reportable?). If they hit me with a pallet, trust me they earned it. If they waved me to a pallet or hook I would always shake my head no and walk away. Me making sure we both have a good time is not reportable.

A typical game looks like this. I 1 hook everyone, then I slug 1 while I chase another (That way 1 is always on gens, and 1 gets pickup and Heals). So yes I do slug. If I am facing a especially good team I tend to slug a LOT more just so I can get a few BP's myself, but that was the vast minority of games I played. When I did complete a 4 man slug (Again a small % of games I played) I almost always picked them up and let them wiggle off. Less than 10 survivors DC'ed because of a slug. Most of the DC's happened because they were found first. Not a single person complained about being slugged in end game chat. But the best teams I faced were far more likely to be toxic in end game chat. Thank you for your questions.
