Why you even care what survivors want ? This is how you should play the game to stand a chance, first guy you hook, tunnel him out ASAP
Oof, those builds look almost exactly like a team I went against the other day, but I only got one kill because they were a semi-organised SWF that had a designated gen-jockey (Feng), healer (Claudette), lookout (Meg) and one runner (Zarina). They were so cocky the entire game, I managed to down Zarina and Claudette in a corner of the map where there were no hooks and I couldn't find Feng in time to stop her from finishing the gens so they got a 3-man out.
-
It's not that 3-genning in itself that's the problem, survivors do it to themselves quite a bit. Sometimes killers force it from the start but it's mostly a survivor-sided issue, have played both sides enough to have seen both scenarios.
The real problem comes from the complete aggressiveness of it from the killer side (I've seen this mainly with Sull Merchant, The Knight and The Artist) and it just drags the game out to 20-30-40 minutes, because the killer refuses to leave their precious 3-gen to chase, if they do chase it is very rare and they drop it almost immediately to go back and kick the gens that the survivors may have gotten a little progress on. Rinse repeat, until the survivors ######### up enough times to die on hook (if the killer is inclined to hook downed survivors) or just DC because they have better things to do with their time than to play a waiting game with a paranoid killer.
That is why survivors hate 3-gens, couple that with perks like deadlock, DMS, Jolt, Pain Res Overcharge, CoB etc. It's just even more of a nightmare, without even touching on map offerings and other BS.
And I'm saying this as a 90% Killer main (play 10% survivor), I despise killers who actively seek out a 3-gen even though I understand where they're coming from given how fast survivors can blast out gens.
-
I mean, maybe? Pain res, isn't that difficult to counter. Sure, like CoB, Jolt and Overcharge, it annoying AF but manageable.

Just bring a brown toolbox/medkit and equip Built to Last. You should be able to get those challenges done in one game.
I don't have BtL unlocked on any of my survivors, as I've only been playing for a little under a year.
-
I'm starting to see Franklin's more and more as of late, so much so that it's actually becoming quite irritating to deal with because of the Tome having so many "Deplete X amount of Toolboxes/Medkits" tasks/challenges. I get it, survivors using TB's and MK's are annoying to deal with, but blame BHVR for the Tome Missions, rather than the survivors. Please killers I beg you, I want to complete my Tome challenge, I've been stuck on it for three days now. xO
-
For killer: Eruption, Deadlock, CoB, I'm All Ears, Infectious Fright. (to name a few that I've been seeing a lot of lately)
For survivor: Self-care, WoO, CoH, Lythe. (Again, to name a few)

Not true, killer bots were confirmed in the november 2022 developer update.
They did not give a date though, just said that it was coming in the future.
We probably won't see killer bots until maybe sometime in the middle of the year, hell, maybe not even until the end. AFAIK, there are many kinks to iron out, so they're not dumb as bricks or as efficient as terminators.

This is the only thing in this game to literally make me scream.
We call it "locker vacuum" and it is total garbage. I want all locker entry disabled unless you are FACING the locker. I have this problem a lot when lockers spawn in the little room in the cowshed that sometimes spawns the basement. They put lockers right next to the window. You can run into that area, run for the window, hit space bar, and then get sucked BACKWARD into a locker.
*cries in Trickster after locker vacuuming to the wrong locker after seeing a survivor jump inside one*
-
@HugTechLover said:
There’s a locker next to a window and instead of vaulting… you hop into the locker. Anybody else?😂
What else do we hate?
As a Trickster main, I hate it when I get vacuumed to a locker that I wasn't even facing, especially when I just saw a survivor go inside one, so yeah, auto aim/grab locks me into the one next to it. Super annoying.

LOL, I'm just flabbergasted people are STILL complaining about Legion....
Survivors on here really will find any and everything to complain about. The answer is no, implementing such a thing would be awful for queue times. Play the match, or DC & get penalized, or suicide on hook and throw the other Survivors under the bus because you wanted to be selfish about which Killers you do/don't wanna face.
The only real problem with Legion is that they encourage bad habits in new/baby killers (I know this for a fact, because I play Legion a lot) and that people group up around them making it easy af to get their chained-frenzy and deep-wound off.
-
I know people really like GhostFace, but I personally can't stand him. Most of the ones I've come across are sweaty tryhards who run the meta perks and use map offerings (could justt be my bad luck tho). Also, other games are thrown because my team wants to photo bomb GF's mori's.
Myers is also annoying, purely for the few I've run across that were running purple tombstone piece and tuft of hair. My first interaction with the killer goes like this, I carefully sneak my way around the map completing one and a half generators before my team accidentally leads Myers to me, this is usually after he has stalked the rest of my team, my fate is then to be grabbed and insta mori'ed. Like it is so unfun that my first interaction with the killer, before I can loop him or even get away is to be insta grabbed then killed. Most exciting 3 minutes of gameplay. >.>
-
It's a perfectly normal gameplay mechanic, sure it sucks to get hit while vaulting but it's far from unfair.
-
It's been a while since I've been given a pity kill as killer and depending on my mood, E.G if I've had several ######### games in a row, if I'll feel insulted or grateful.
That said, I do appreciate it when a survivor recognises that I got screwed over by MMR or RNG. I always make a point of thanking them in the post-game too, if given the chance.

Ngl, I like the shampoo metaphor.
My favourite dumb survivor experience was a Claudette who was looping the killer RIGHT under my nose as I was hooked, didn't even leave with her injured speed boost, resulting in me dying. Girl, what were you doing ? Forget the killer, you were camping me !
That being said, I've seen a lot of killers come back to camp to second stage, which is a pretty scummy strat. Not invalid, but scummy. And in this case, good luck making a smart unhook if you can't coordinate with your team !
Oof, camping to the second stage is scummy if not understandable. The only way I can kind of justify it, even a little is if the killer has been on a five-game loss streak to survivor or RNG BS, but even then I'd say camping second stage is uncalled for.
-
Feels bad man! I got super lucky the weekend before Christmas and was able to meme around with survivors after I got sent to GoJ while playing as Legion three times in a row, thankfully they quickly figured out that I wasn't all that stressed about getting 4K's when I'd drop chases quickly and jump into a snowman to finish off chases.
So yeah, I don't know why people are just being sweaty. Could just be that your MMR is still too high from the last time you queued up or could be the time of day you're trying to play?
-
Honestly, I kinda agree, it's not a very good map. Aesthetically it's wonderful, a beautiful homage to Resident Evil. However in a game like DbD, it's not good, there's just too much going on and the gen and hook spread is pretty atrocious.
This might be a me thing, but I always get super lost on RPD playing survivor or killer. I can never find gens or hooks and I find myself going around in circles just trying to get anywhere.

Well thankfully I finally got the adept achievement just now so that concludes my Trickster achievements thankfully so I don't have to play him again.
I think he needs a complete redesign as his power is incredibly annoying and I cant blame people for not wanting to play against it
Trickster really needs some QoL changes, because overall I think he is fine.
The biggest downsides are the BS recoil (why he recoils upwards like an SMG is beyond me), his incredibly annoying low movement speed during his power (seriously he should speed up not slow down, to match the excitement in his voice lines (heck his low mobility makes him near impossible on larger maps)) and his power needs to be available to activate whenever the player wants and not when it's dependant on knives. If they were worried about players camping with it, then just make it like Artists's crows in that it can't be activated while near the hook.
He's only annoying if you don't know how to deal with him.

First survivor went down really fast and second survivor hid in a bush very close to hook I put survivor on... of course being adept I had Starstruck on so survivor in bush went down instantly... both DC.
Sigh... I give up
This is why I don't play Trickster as much anymore, either people run me in circles when I'm not trying to sweat or I down them easily so they throw a tantrum and leave. So I'm left just holding my knives and making sad noises while I debate if it's worth DC-ing myself or just memeing with the remaining survivors.

don't even try to complete the silly ones. Most of the killer challenges are doable and mainly involve hitting/downing/hocking/killing.
But a good portion of the Survivor challenges don't even work toward your objective. just useless
Not to mention so many challenges are bugged or broken. I've been stuck on a "kick four gens in a single trial" challenge for a while now, and I have kicked four different gens for five games in a row and I still haven't managed to complete the challenge. Like I really don't know if it's bugged or if I'm somehow losing track of the gens I've kicked, but it's driving me nuts.
-
When I started playing killer, my baby build was Sloppy Butcher, NOED, Jolt and Iron Grasp(later swapped out for Starstruck/Mad Grit). I found that this build really helped me grasp the game and the basic mechanics of the killer role, along with what to expect from certain survivors. Also try not to fall into the trap of using too many crutch perks, like as much as I love Lightborn, it can teach you bad habits. So just remember to keep flashlights in mind when playing with that perk, and try to get a hold of Franklin's.
The biggest tip I can give you is to just remember to try and have fun, which can be difficult I know since I can also fall into the tilt trap thanks to BS from toxic players. So take breaks when you feel tilted or tired, like never trying to do "one more" because you will just tilt yourself by making more and more obvious mistakes.

Ranked/Unranked is one of those things that sounds like a great idea, but it's an unmitigated disaster when you try them, unless it's something like HOTS, where it had no public matchmaking and strict rules.
I mean...I remember how this basically killed SC2 for me.
For two expansions, there had just been 'ranked' mode. But what would happen is that players would hit a 'sweaty' MMR where they had to endure stressful matches and, to have 'fun' games - they'd either say sod it and derank to Bronze or Silver league to roflstomp newbies. Or, they'd purchase a smurf account for this purpose. It was miserable, and at the worst of it, maybe a quarter of the matches you'd have anything below Diamond league would be against Diamond/Masters level smurfs.
Of course, they would defend this, saying 'well, it's Blizzard's fault for making their game unfun' or 'well, those new players can learn how to play or quit'.
And they did quit. In droves. Blizzard tried banning smurfs, but it was almost impossible to detect.
So they added an Unranked mode, where people could go and play chill.
Only, all this did was remove the need for smurf accounts completely. You'd have your ranked mode as high as you can get it, while also deliberately keeping your Unranked MMR ridiculously low. It eventually meant that, ironically, the only way to have a reasonable chance of a fair match for newbies was to go back to Ranked, because Unranked was wall to wall smurfs.
TL/DR: All that would happen in DbD would be comp players and people looking to crack skulls could go over there for easy meat.
Are you sure you're talking about Blizzard and not Riot? Seriously, I've been playing LoL for two years and I've already seen a massive shift in the community. From people try-harding and sweating in norms and the only "alternative" game mode, because all Riot cares about is balancing the game around E-Sports while still expecting their casual player base, whom they're happy to leave in the dirt, to fund their "projects" by buying skins. It's just so infuriating.

-Big maps, when survivor is holding W, zzz, no wonder killers with hight mobility are better, they can catch up with survivors if they hold W
-That there is still no search bar for perks, at this point I am pretty sure BHVR won't add that because they are sure this game at any second now is going to die, so why even bother
The fact that perks associated with the character aren't on the first row of the first page is just mind-boggling to me. trying to find my killer's/survivor's associated perks when in custom matches is just irritating as all hell. Especially if it's a killer/survivor I haven't played before and I don't know what their perks look like.

When the map is gigantic. Also invisible walls. I swear the number of times I've had Bubba go into a tantrum after hitting thin air...
This is a problem with Billy too (heck even Trickster and Huntress's projectiles suffer from this) For some reason, with Billy and Bubba, their hitboxes during their power is taller than they are, so they'll get cucked over by leaves, twigs or even low hanging branches on some maps. It's not fun and really suffocates what should be clutch moments.
-
Things that get me heated: The short list.
- Me messing up extremely simple things, like missing what could have been an easy down or pressing someone off a gen etc. This is just a me thing that I'm working on, having a short temper is fun.
- Trying to track survivors through Rotten Feilds or any of the Coldwind maps. I don't know what it is about that map, it's either the lighting, the colours or a combination of many different elements but something about that map just messes with my ability to track and I just end up lost as hell.
- Maps in general, not that all of them are awful, but many of them just have a lot of unnecessary loops that are just annoying as killer or survivor. It also just ties back in with my dislike for Rotten Feilds, in that I just get lost so easily.
- Low-mobility killers on large maps, it turns what should be a challenging game into a slog. Especially if I'm not running any gen regression or chase perks, because I don't want to wipe sweat off my controller at the end of the game and I just want a nice chill game.
- Pallet hitboxes are extremely strange, in the same game I can miss a pallet when I'm literally right under it, but then at the next loop, I'll get hit by the pallet that I'm nowhere near. I know killers have larger hitboxes than survivors, but I shouldn't be hit by something I'm not even under. Though that said, it could be a lag/ping issue.
- Horrible controller support. Due to IRL wrist issues I use a controller while playing on PC, KB&M is smooth as silk and your character responds with the merest touch or flick. With Controller it is a damn-near nightmare. Honestly, I feel like I'm fighting the camera for control of the killer in some matches, especially when survivors start to get fancy.
- BM-ing, just don't be a dick. Admittedly this is probably my short temper talking but I can't stand BMers. Killer or survivors. There's no need to be so rude. Please stop waiting at the exit gate for four minutes just to T-Bag me, just leave so we can all go onto our next game.
- People who DC on the first down or first hook. Up until recently I had crappy internet, so I don't believe that all DCs are from salty rage quitters. But that said, some DCs are too convenient for my liking, their internet/game just happened to have a stroke as they got hooked or were downed. I mean, could be a coincidence, but 90% of the time? I highly doubt it. With the DC's I end up feeling frustrated and confused, do I play nice? Do go whole hog and just kill everyone?
-
Not really terrible, but I do like using Whispers on Killer. Mostly because I have terrible hearing irl so having a little bit of an edge to help me narrow down where a survivor is hiding is always pretty good.
I also like running Mad Grit, mostly because it allows me to punish overly altruistic swfs who try to body block the hook and because they don't expect to go down it more often than not gives me an extra 1-2 downs (which can sometimes evolve into kills). Which I probably wouldn't have otherwise gotten if it wasn't for swf greeding the hook save.

I think that's a game mechanic. It's like with 'heal X healthstates' = we'll pair you against an afk killer.
'blind the killer' = lightborn
not having any genregression on a slow killer? welcome to the yamaoka family estate
Also should add "trying to play a stealth killer? Hope you like corn."
- Want to play Trickster, Huntress or Deathslinger? Auto wreckers for you.

@Nathan13 said:
I hate when killers do this, why do you wanna drag the game out forever??? There’s literally no fun in that.
Then why do survivors want to be out of the game as quickly as possible?
It's simple, both killers and survivors really only have one task to do. One is to finish the generators and escape, the other is to kill survivors and prevent them from escaping. In order to do their one task as efficiently as possible, each side will bring the most efficient way to do it.
-
Yes, I use them when I don't feel like playing against real people, especially when I'm first timing a new killer or testing out new builds.
They're competent enough to give me (admittedly a new player) a run for my money but they're also not overly punishing either, there are a few odd quirks with their pathing and a few other things that are more than a little challenging. Such as them having an ESP with stealth killers, which is a pain in the ass when trying to practise Sadako and Ghost Face, they also seem to know when killers like Legion activate their power and can dodge like pros when against Trickster or Huntress. But I suppose that's the beauty of the bots, is that they couldn't be too dumb that they offer no challenger or super mega smart terminators that would suck all of the fun and chance to learn out of the game.
-
I only use the cut coin offering to decrease the chance of finding better medkits or toolboxes, since I run light born since I unlocked it I don't really worry about flashlights.

Nurse is fine the only really difference is that it's much easier to track players during the fatigue on PC. Blight takes much more practice, but it's doable.
Any killer that you aim with Deathslinger, Trickster, Pinhead, Huntress is really just a pain. I mean you can get pretty decent but you basically have to spend a lot of time practicing and really have to keep playing them to keep that muscle memory up. It's really easy to lose any kind of gains you've made on ranged killers if you take extended breaks I find.
I just wish that would add keyboard and mouse support. I really feel like I'm missing out on killers that I would actually enjoy playing, but can't because it's so gimped on console. Like I have DBD on my laptop and I actually really enjoyed playing Trickster, Deathslinger and huntress, which is something I really can't say about console. It's just frustrating even when you do get semi decent at it.
Console also had some weird sync s**t going on when playing cross platform. On PC the hit registration feels so much better.
The game needs better support for KB&M and Controller, or at least better FPS optimisation for the console, as I find that's just as much of a killer (pun not intended) for the controller as the wonky aim mechanics of the controller.

Everything else but the length of the aura reading, that's way to long 4 secs if added would be fine
Oh yeah I agree 15s is too long 2-5s is probably better, also maybe a slight movement speed buff after teleport to match the aura reading, which would also be 2-5s wich could be extended longer with add-ons.

I still think that they should assign one TV set to each gen and have her curse protect the gen. In order to start repairing, you have to remove the tape from the corresponding TV set.
BAM.
In one fell stroke survivors are forced to interact with her kit and play with tapes and carry them accross the board, giving her some slowdown. This still won`t give her many condemnation kills, but thats ok, her curse would still be a looming threat, like Pigs RBT, that can't be ignored, but won't happen too often.
I also think that she should have a weaker version of her Iri tape as basekit, ie the last TV set that was shut off turns on again on a sneaky hit.
Lastly I think that its utter bogus, that the survivors have full, miniscule info of the status of their curses, whilst Sadako only has binary info, ie curses/uncursed and cursed/fully condemned. On most killers this feels dumb, but manageable, but with her it takes away any feeling of urgency or pressure to get rid of ones condemnation.
She is a cool concept, but her execution is so lackluster, its really sad.
I really like this idea, and given the ability to reset the TV's/Tapes when she teleports as it gives her some viable gen pressure while also forcing survivors to interact with the TVs.
I'd also add that they need to reduce the sound she makes when she teleports or demanifests, because she sounds like an oncoming truck. It's too much of a giveaway for a stealth killer and feels like BHVR built in a hand-holding mechanic for survivors who just want to M1 the gens. On top of that, I'd also give her a base-kit 15-20s of aura reading after she teleports so she can have some chance of finding survivors after she clambers out of a TV, especially if said survivor is at maxed condemned status.
-
I use a controller on PC due to IRL wrist issues that make KB&M extremely painful, the biggest thing that's helped me for playing killers like Trickster and Huntress is to have the sensitivity turned all the way up to 85-90%. But with that said and as much as I love playing Trickster, the artificial difficulty with him is a real pain in the ass. Not only do you have to contend with aiming, but there's also this really annoying recoil mechanic that forces the camera to move upwards. So not only are you trying to aim, but your also fighting with this constant pull upwards that just doesn't exist with KB&M and the real kicker is there's no real way to counter it. Like you can compensate for the recoil by using the add-on that causes blades to shatter and deal laceration damage, but it's not enough to compensate for the number of knives that miss because your constantly fighting with the camera.
If anything, it kind of shows that there is a huge lack of balancing when it comes to controller support for the console or even on PC. I also think that the recoil mechanic should just be gone, it's really punishing for no reason other than because "eff u, artificial difficulty go burrrr!"

I got some over PSN last night.
Mikaela and David were being your typical bully chucklefucks, pulling off 360s, bodyblocks and flawless loops and using it to constantly harass me as killer. Of course when David is eventually hooked, Mikaela rushes the hook and rescues him when I'm literally 5m away. I down her effortlessly, but David stays to bait BT, so I whack him, he barely tries to use his speed boost, so I down him again.
Of course I get a tirade about how I'm a terrible killer and tunnelled David.
I was playing Ghostface, so I teabagged. Boy did they not like that. Almost like it's bad manners or something.
I love how angry they got when you TBagged them, oh the delicious irony. I'm eating it up!!
Funnily enough, it kind of reminds me of a game I played against a David and a Mikaela.
Though this duo happened to be a three-man swf with a Feng. All three of them were cocky, but David was the cockiest. He'd keep clicky-clicking me (back when you could macro the everloving ######### out of it), looped me etc. When I managed to hook him, Mikaela or Feng would be there to rush in for the save, take a hit etc. David screwed up in the EGC and I hooked him, Mikaela and Feng were nearby waiting to go in for the unhook while injured, but I just stood my ground and shook my head at them. Feng took the hint and bolted, but Mikaela stayed and David died trying to kobe which was when Mikaela finally left.
The angry tirade of salt I got in the post-game was unbelievable, being called a bad/baby killer, how I just spammed my power among a few other choice insults I won't repeat here. Thing is, at the time I was a baby killer, all by two of my perks were yellow and I was rank ash 4. I guess they were mad that I didn't give them a win even though they played so "well", like it's not my fault they got cocky in the EGC and they ultimately threw themselves under the bus.
Edit: Spelling and grammar.

Totem locations are indeed terrible, on more than once occasion I have spawned ontop of my own hex which also happened to be right next to a generator.
A streamer I watch (it was either Otz or Dowsey, I can't remember as this was months ago) was running a Hex build for a streak/challenge and three of their perks were gone in the first minute of the game because survivors literally spawned on top of the totems.
Either you need to clense the same hex totem twice, one to make it dull and the other to fully remove it (with a cool down so the survivor just doesn't sit on it) and it reignites when left alone or they need to be harder to find locations.
-
Yeah, some survivors just set themselves up for tunnelling. Mr Unhooked survivor, your uninjured rescuer is supposed to be protecting you, not the other way around. If you continue to body block for the healthy one, it's your own darn fault if you go down again so don't call me a tunneler in the post-game chat because you did it to yourself.

It sometimes feels like there's no in-between, if a killer plays normally or nice and chill the survivors start BM-ing and calling them bad. But if the killer decides to play super efficiently or super sweaty, survivors still complain and call them "no lifers". The same can be said for survivors too.

I noticed that as well. When I played ghostface the bots knew where I was almost every time, and would break me out of the cloak. It was frustrating, yet impressive at the same time. It made me play smarter like I would have to against real players.
Exactly, I'm pretty impressed by the programming of the bots to mimic all kinds of playstyles at all MMR levels. As I don't think the mode would be as challenging or work if the bots were easy to bully, like you can with the tutorial killer/survivor bots. But at the same time, it's a little frustrating, since they "know" where stealth killers come from and their esp dodging when they're against Slinger, Trickster or Huntress (can really feel the bad controller support with these killers).
I've also noticed that the last survivor is programmed to beeline straight for the hatch, they know exactly where it spawns and will head to it the moment it's open. I watched the bots do this consistently for ten games.
-
I agree, the number of times I've had people DC on death hook just to spite the killer, be it me or a random is just astounding. It should certainly count towards achievements and sacrifice. Vise Versa if the killer DCs, it should be counted as an escape.
Now I know that not every DC is a player throwing a tantrum, it can legitimately be because of bad internet or the DbD servers having a stroke. But nine times out of ten it is because the player is mad at "dying" first. Or in the case of the killer, because they're being outplayed, they don't like the map or killer etc.

I hate that hacking, especially subtle cheating is so prevalent in this game that it makes it hard to distinguish between legitimate game issues i.e glitches/bugs, ping/lag, high-level med/tool kits and actual cheats being used. It makes everyone paranoid and question if they're seeing true hacks/exploits or just the game breaking because of some crossed wires in the code.

he should be around 105%-110% m/s. in fact it makes little sense that the more knives he throws, the slower he gets. it should work opposite way. he should speed-up the more knives he throws.
It makes sense to his lore as well. Just listen to his audio cues. He loves the thrill of pain and actively seeks excitement for every knives he throws at the survivor. He thrusts for blood and pleasure as he tortures the victims. He is meant to be eccentric with flame passion the more he throws. Its all over his cartography with his voice and voice lines in game.
His gameplay does not match his balance. Instead of becoming on fire, He becomes weaker the more he throws knives and slower. Easier to line of sight(LOS), more distanced gained for throwing making it harder to do long distance shots. Yeah his gameplay is just weird. I assume his bad balance is survivor hand-holding and survivor disliking his gameplay for whatever reason. Cool character though.
I agree, I've always found it odd that he's slower when he throws. Since, like you said, from his audio cues alone he is excited near giddy with happiness at the mere thought of causing pain and suffering just to hear their "sound" as he pelts them with knives. He really should get a speed boost, especially when Main Event becomes available/activated.
For real though, I could live with a slow throwing speed as long as his overall mobility was buffed, like nothing major but maybe to 105-110% (like you suggested) just so he can cover ground a little easier. Some of the maps for are just too large for Trickster to pressure properly, especially if he gets screwed over by tile spawns and he's forced to play as a crappy M1 killer because there's just too much safe debris and clutter for survivors to hide behind.

Personally I think all killers (especially those that can be bought with real money) should never be considered a "training wheels" killer. I understand what you're saying, but any killer that is added to the roster should be able to hold their own, and not have to worry about getting completely decimated because they're not strong enough.
This exactly, you're paying money for these killers. They shouldn't be considered a tutorial killer.

The bots can be painful at times, and in some ways play a lot better than actual players, so it's not an exact estimate for a real trial.
I played PH against them, and the bots could predict 100% of the time when and where I was going to use his ranged power, even when out of LOS for a while. Every. Time. The only time I could hit them with it was when they were locked into an animation of a pallet throw or window vault. They knew how to crouchwalk over his trails like a boss, too. The few times I could get one to actually cross a trail was when at least two bots were in the same place, I'd laid trails all over, and the bots had to both split up and run away in different directions.
Landing Lethal Blinks on some of the bots as a Nurse is torture. I also suck at Nurse, so there's that.
Throwing knives as Trickster or hatchets as Huntress? Some of the bot profiles are master jukers.
Regardless of stealth killer or otherwise, they always start to run when you get moderately close to a gen they're working on.
When bots were added I thought they would be too easy, and granted some of the profiles for them are somewhat noobish, but overall they're surprisingly challenging.
Yep, I decided to get some hatchet and knife throwing practice as both Huntress and Trickster against bots and oml they were just quickstepping all over the place like they were doing an old western gun dance. Luckily, because they were bots it was pretty easy to just M1 but the fact I even had to resort to being a ######### M1 killer as Huntress and Trickster was annoying. Doubly annoying because irl wrist issues prevent me from using KM&M when playing on PC, so the lack of proper controller support was strongly felt in that game.
Also pretty much experienced everything that you mentioned as well, I don't mind the challenge but at the same time it's kind of annoying.

Very true. The bots definitely genrush like crazy! Since they group together fairly often I wanted to see how realistic it was to get five consecutive hits with Legion's power, and I couldn't do that, not even with bots!
I think they were programmed to counter killers as best they can. I've noticed that with killers like Pinhead and Deathslinger, they can juke your ranged attacks fairly well. But an m1 killer like Legion whose power can't even down a survivor goes to show just how weak they really are.
I noticed that the bots also have a bit of esp going on or at least can easily predict where the killer will come from. I was testing out Ghost Face and the bots pretty much scattered away from me before I could crouch, enter stealth to stalk or be exposed/revealed by survivors. They just instantly knew where I was, similar issue with testing out Sadako, they just knew where I was going to be before I even got there.
it was kind of hilarious and depressing at the same time. XD

Yep and that’s why maps need to be smaller. I can also say that losing a bunch of progress due to eruption multiple times is demoralising due to its effectiveness against solo queuing players
Oh I can agree on both, maps need to be smaller and fairer for both survivor and killer. Eruption is also pretty bad, especially for soloQ but against a swf it's a godsend.

Tbf perks like deadlock, PR and eruption exist now which are amazing slowdown options
But yeah adding more perks like hyper focus was dumb. Gen times will never really be balanced imo due to the insane amount of variables such as perks, map size and killer powers
Playing a low mobility killer on a large map and having three gens pop before you can even get into your first chase is quite demoralising, even worse when the survivors start BM-ing because they want to gloat.

How dare you tell the truth - get ready for toxic survivor comments now, on how bad killers are if they dont have 2 hooks within 30 secs.
And if you do somehow manage to have two hooks before the first gen pops then you're a sweaty killer main who's tunnling.

It's not just around loops that bugs the hell out of me. In fact, it's the part where every single open space between loops is full of junk that drives me mad. What's that, you have a power that wants any amount of open space to use? No power for you! Hold W between tiles with pallets.
Yep, I've been having to play Trickster and Huntress like ######### M1 killers due to the odd tile spawns. It's not fun being constantly cucked by the environment. Like I've found that Trickster can adapt because of his quickfire nature, but Huntress? Might as well be playing Trapper.
