Honestly, its kinda weird how im sure if the ptb stuff went through they'd say the same to some other killer posting their disagreement with it
Oh, without a doubt, they would be saying the exact same thing if the changes went through.
I'm still going to tell them to cope and sethe, because I saw this guy complaining about killers using Lightborn a few weeks ago, so either he is a rage baiter or is one of the people who saw YouTube clips of survivors breaking killers ankles and unfortunatly got a rude awakening when they found out that the game is actually a lot more difficult than the content farms would have you believe.

Exactly. GUTTING a killer shouldn't be the answer. Mechant is the shining reason as to why not to gut a killer and Freddy is the example why you shouldn't rework willy nilly.
Both of those are last resorts not "MERCHANT THEM" which I've unironically seen?
Thanks for wording it so much better then me!
Exactly, I remember how bad people were complaining like week one after Vecna's release, and he was just a little over-tuned with his Mage-Hand ability, same thing happened with Dracula, Chucky and Ghoul. People just immediately rushed to scream en masse "OP please nerf!" when all that was needed was for people to calm their tits and just learn how to counterplay, or at least be paitent knowing that the devs would eventually adjust the numbers.
I remember when "be patient and wait" was something people just understood right off the bat, instead of just jumping to hysterics. Like, yes, something new is going to feel OP and different, just wait for a bit and then see if its worthy of having an anurisim over. Because that's how you gut a perfectly balanced mechanic/killer/perk before it's even had a chance to settle.
I agree about the reworks, the Freddy 3.0 we're on now is much better than Freddy 2.0, but it still feels lacklustre and well…Myers's rework…well…At most, he didn't need a power rework; he just needed to be brought up to speed by giving him a faster movement speed and reworking the majority of his add-ons. Because Myers 2.0…doesn't feel like Michael Myers anymore… >.>
No worries, I picked up the "Skerchant them!" type talk from a Discord server I'm a part of, and there are a few very vocal Skerchant mains who hate that he was pretty much taken out back and shot. And iit's essentially agreed upon that no killer should suffer the same fate, no matter how "unbalanced" or "braindead" they are or appear to be on release.

I remember my first d/c from back in the day... it was deserved tbh but it was funny doctor terror radius build. Did help the rest gain BP, and they all wanted to give me the final hooks, I miss those days, felt a lot more... wholesome
Oh, I agree, I had a killer teach me and my SoloQ teammates how to run Shack when he realised he had been matched against fresh install baby survivors. The guy at the time, a Wraith, had about 900 hrs in the game logged on Steam vs my very humble 50 hrs. He could have just stomped and moved on, but he didn't. He taught us the most basic way to counter M1 killers, check spots, how to keep an eye out for mind games etc, when to drop Pallet etc. It was like a completely different experience back then, incredibly wholesome. And I miss it. I miss wholesome DbD…

Yes, because said mains have shot down both of the potential reworks we've seen. Said they wanted her to go back to SM 2.0
Either BHVR is still cooking something and simply not asking for input anymore, or they've decided to stop whatever they were doing and focus on things they have a shot at fixing.
Honestly, my hope is that they go back to Skerchant 2.0 and tweak as needed. I do hope they get input from people who actually play her and adore her, instead of listening to people who just want to hate for the sake of hating.
That said, I think Skerchant is in the same boat as Legion and Ghoul. It won't matter how BHVR reworks her kit, add-ons etc, she will forever be tainted by her OG release. Especially since she was dripped in the middle of the Gen-Kick/Hostage meta, right after Knight's release.
We can only hope they learn from their past mistakes, but BHVR's track record at the moment isn't…all that great…

I agree with that. Its unfair to that last remaining survivor
I remember before the DC bots, it's just end up being 1 v 2 so I'd just go around with survivors dropping every pallet, eating the stun, then breaking the pallets and walls. Sure, it took super long when it was 2 survivors left with 3 gens to repair, but like, at that point it's not a match, it's just "welp, may as well keep playing to earn BP and try to be a good sport about it."
I try not to blame people who DC, because you never know what's going on IRL, but it does become incredibly frustrating. Especially when you're just trying to play a killer you enjoy.

As someone whom enjoys legion myself, I would hate the changing of legion and crew.
While I do want a disguise killer as pulsar suggested like the teaser, we shouldn't ever change the legion for it. And anyways they cannot do that kind of killer because of specifically it being, not hard but impossible to use in certain scenarios(SWF legitimately killing their power even more so then Hag and Trapper traps)
I like the chase killers who arent to like... game breaking.
Oh I agree, I think a disguise killer could be fun. Especially if it could disguise itself as not just other survivors, but kind of like a prophunt mimic/monster? Could quite literally call it The Mimic or The Deceiver or something along those lines. Its an elderitch monster along the lines of Unknown and/or Dredge and can change it's form at will and change into almost anything from items, to gens, hooks, other survivors or even other killers etc. While it's "true" form is a black mass with lots of eyes and tentacles or something…idk, but you get the idea.
I would hate for a rework of Legion into the disguise concept they had in their trailer (even then the "disguise" is more so that Frank had taken off his mask to run with David, which doesn't really signify that Legion had a disguise mechanic, but just was a reveal "killer in a mask" for the trailer. But I digress.), because I'd be losing a killer I fell in love with because of the "zoomies" hit and run playstyle.
It's how a lot of people feel about the Skerchant's first rework and eventual gutting, her abilities at release were overtuned and a little too versatile, and needed to be adjusted. He second release was much, much better, but still needed tweaking. She didn't deserve to be absolutely gutted. All of that above to say that killers need adjustments absolutely, but full reworks should be avoided for as long as possible to avoid a Skerchant and Chuckey "scamper" situation. No killer deserves to be nuked from orbit just because some people don't immediately grasp the counterplay. That said, there is a lot of bullshit about Ghoul, but in comparison to his release, he is much more manageable now imho.
Now all BHVR needs to do is to start readjusting some of the changes they've made to survivors, and it can start with adjusting perks that effect gen repair speeds.

That is a beautiful moment, I teared up as imagined a group of survivors scatter and one looking up like a puppy(in this case three stegulls scattering and a nancy in my imagination)
It was quite hilarious tbh, I wish I had my screen capture running, but unfortunately my PC can't handle much anymore…So I am lucky to get one to three stable games of DbD before it tries to set itself on fire.
But yeah, it was like that one moment of "sir…may I have more sir?" with big old puppy eyes, and it's just…I want my Adept Legion…but not when the survivors are being bad sports and leaving the random out to dry. It's not fair on me or them, you know?

in dream land i agree, killers should be fun to play as and against but in reality, whats fun for the killer isnt always fun for the survivor. Changing killers like legion so they are fun for survivors to go against would probably make it not fun for the killer so they wouldnt play legion any more. i mean killers play legion now because they enjoy that killer. Its unrealistic to expect every single killer to be fun to go against for everyone due to how different each killer is. like making every map fun to play on for everyone, some like indoor maps, some like outdoor maps. at some point people will need to play on a map they dont really like or play against a killer they dont really like or deal with a perk they dont like.
Pretty much this, I play Legion because he scratches a part of my ADHD brain that likes to scream "gotta go fast!" Which makes him fun for me. It's why I also like a lot of killers who can do the Hit and Run playstyle, like Wraith, Wesker, Doctor and to an extent Ghoul. They have playstyles that help the "chase the shiny!" impulses in my brain.
I understand it's an annoying playstyle to many survivors, and even killer players who like the more strategic killers that make them feel like they're playing chess.
So the idea of reworking Legion, Wraith, Ghoul, and Wesker into something more "palatable" for everyone feels…idk targeted? Its like saying that the hit and run playstyle is wrong and shouldn't be done. But what do I know?

the problem is people dc over so many diffrent things you cant just fix that.
for example i am a legion and plague main. if id get a penny for every dc i could play dbd for a living.
what the solution to make the game enjoyable here? deleting/completly changing these two killers into something else? cause thats the only thing that would stop people from dcing against them
The one thing that would stop me from DC-ing against Plague is if BHVR added a feature that allowed me to change the sound effects of the survivors' gagging sounds, because it's not Plague herself I am against, it's the coughing and gagging my sick survivors do, which makes me feel incredibly sick when playing against her.
As a Legion main myself, I had a three-man DC against me a couple of weeks ago while trying for Adept Legion. It was after my first Feral Slash strike…it wasn't the fifth hit down, it was just me getting a single first hit. Their SoloQ teammate and I stared at each other (they were all on the same gen) as the bots scattered like startled birds, so I decided to farm the bots and let the Solo teammate leave via hatch.

At this point they might as well let you gain BP, rift quests and achievements by playing vs bots. Just cut out the middleman, the game is PvE now and everyone is happy. Definitely.
Honestly, I would appreciate it if they'd let us do Dailies, community goals (you know the "as a community earn 50.0000 BP" type BS) or Glyphs in customs at the very least. Would save quite a lot of SoloQ frustrations imho, especially as Glyphs can be a shared Killer/Survivor challenge.
-
As is, I think there should be larger incentives to stay in a match rather than punishing people for DC-ing. Since you know, you DC for more reasons than just "rage-quitting" the game, like your internet cutting out, a hacker crashing the server etc.
However, I think there should be a tally counted towards intentional DC's that should be kept separate from how "quickly" you end up being removed from a match. I do think, as many have mentioned above, a "salt mine" or "rage queue" could work at least on the survivor side.
I' not sure how they'd handle the "Quitter's Queue" for the killer side though, unless they're against hyper aggressive/terminator bots or something, as it seems unfair to subject killer players against "quitters." -
@Willish said:
I don't quit, but if I get a Ghoul, I'll try my hardest to get hooked and tunneled. That killer drains every ounce of enjoyment from this game imo "Oh no, how did I not make that vault on the other side of the map?" 😱
Honestly, if that's your attitude towards one strong killer regardless of the player's skill, I'd much rather a bot over you as a teammate any day. Because at least the bot will try to play the game instead of giving up like an entitled brat.

and half the time the scamper doesnt even work bc of the built in slowdown the killer gets after vaulting said pallet and loop size… Increase the time it takes to vault it and it becomes usless (like weskers vault)
Exactly! BHVR literally put in a "cooldown" for killers who have a "scamper/powered vault" ability before they can follow up with an M1, to basically give survivors a "chance to make distance", which defeats the purpose of the powered vault to begin with.
Delibertaly nerfing killers, for the sake of survivors.

They said
1 hate when they use certain addona
2 hate when ghoul uses their power to tunnel
This entire time they have been defending his scamper
I played a few ghoul matches, and i can say his scamper isnt as busted as you say?
I can understand disliking their scamper, but apparently every single scamper power is to much too? I've seen people saying WESKER and Legions scampers have to go too?
Exactly that! Ghoul's powered vault is no different to Legion' or Wesker's powered vaults (And Victor to a degree as he can leap over palltes). But suddenly it's an issue only for Ghoul and Chuckey? All because survivors lose their precious frames from their vaulting perks, because the killers have built-in antiloop.
Seriously, it's like four killers who can vault pallets while their power is up. It's quite literally a nothing burger, compared to the killers who can hit survivors over pallets and short walls, aka Artist, Trickster, Huntress, Xeno, Slinger, Doctor, Unknown, Karasu, Springtrap, Vecna, Singularity, Nemmy, Dracula, Pyramid Head, Pinhead, Plague, Clown and Nurse.
So in comparison to other killers, with frankly more BS mechanics, killers being able to vault in power or having a powered vault as part of antiloop is the least problematic thing about them as a whole.

being unable to counter his current scamper… is like complaining on current scamper from Krasue.
They fixed bug with prolonged hinder. You literally can loop him now most of the timesSaid scamper is also no different to Legion's ability to vault pallets while in their power. So to complain about what BHVR admitted to the power as designed, but in an unintended way, just feels like complaining for the sake of complaining, especially after it's been reduced, if not outright removed.

No it's clearly players like you who allow unfun busted killers in the first place. We already have Confirmation Devs are gonna Nerf Ghoul further because he's still to strong and unfun to go against funny how you don't mention anything about Scamper with Hinder cause y'know it's a busted mechanic but stay silent on. These patches will filter players like you.
Bro I can berely play DbD without my PC catching fire, so I'm already "filtered out" because my PC is dying lol.
Plus, I'm a Legion main (I also play quite a bit of Wraith, Trickster and Sadako). I like fast-paced killers. Ghoul scratches the itch that Legion and my other mains can't keep up with anymore, because of all the pallets and second-chance perks that survivors have and are being gifted as base kit. Also, literally don't care about scamper, again, you only care about it because it counters yet another common survivor playstyle, which is to drop and wait and pallets, before shift+W away to the next loop.
BHVR is quite literally creating an environment where only fast-paced killers or those with decent pallet shred/anti-loop can thrive. If you want to be angry at someone, be angry at BHVR for pushing that playstyle.

Exactly! If he were just a one-sided OP killer, I'd understand the frustrations and sympathise a bit more. But, as you said, when many survivors also choose the low-effort option, only to turn around and whine about unfairness while also telling killers to "suck it up," when crippling changes are proposed in the same breath. Its just as BS as "every match is camping, tunneling and slugging" crying too, which they are certainly not anywhere close to that as its uncommon.
Although with the direction the game is going, unless they release more blights, nurse, ghoul tier killers then it will inevitably come true because playing anything else will eventually become pointless and miserable as survivor become gods in the true power role.
Pretty much, I had to give up playing Trickster, Sadako, Wraith and Legion because I just couldn't keep up with survivors with all the extra pallets and second chance perks.
I can kind of win as Doctor, but it ends up being a draw, so I'm also teaching myself Dracula, Springtrap and Ghoul just so I can stand a chance at playing the game, and getting more than 3 hooks all match.

So we just straight up lying now? Ghoul is not much better to play against he's more hated then skullmerchant ever was and has the highest DC rate.
Ghoul has a hitscan free hit grab attack that goes through walls and objects. High mobility with short cooldowns. Fast Scamper that applies a 50% hinder.
Ghoul is a low effort high reward Killer with little to no counterplay and is the easiest S-Tier Killer in the game and his fate is to receive more Nerfs and Changes with a Rework down the line.
Because Ghoul isn't a problem if you know what you're doing, the fact that people still call him "low effort, high reward" just proves that way too many of you just rely on running from pallet to pallet, loop to loop, often in a straight line and nothing else. So, the fact that Ghoul can cut you off from your precious loops and pallets, you feel like it's "bullying" or too "OP" proves that players like you are the root cause of the problems with DbD right now.

You can get good on killer and survivor on console. Many players do it. Thats no excuse for cheap free hits.
Singularity is also Hit-Scan and arguably is better than Ghoul, especially around looping and near instant map traversal.

Also, just read the patch notes and proposed changes to the game via the PTB. The game is becoming incredibly one-sided incredibly quickly, and it is because of players like you who just incessantly whinge, whine and complain about minor annoyances, grievances or even the most basic gameplay from the killer side.
I'm sorry, but you don't have a leg to stand on.

No Killer, perk or item deserves to be nuked from orbit. Balanced? Yes. Adjusted? Absolutely. But never turnbo nuked, ever.

Probably because Nurse, Blight, Ghoul and Karasu are the only ones who can mitigate the pallet density update, where every other killer is just playing "pallet breaking sim."

Hhonestly. Its due to the game leaning toward the casual games of both sides, qnd not the top tier players.
It's not even just that; the hitscan was made with console players in mind. As controller support for DbD is just atrocious, hell, with old Trickster, the recoil mechanic was severely reduced for console to compensate for the jank.
-
@Massquwatt said:
I've spent a lot of time playing ghoul and I came to the conclusion he probably needs his ability to be hitscan, without it he'd be genuinely awful to play. It'd be like trying to shoot survivors as deathslinger while moving at the pace of Billy's chainsaw sprint and admittedly, getting those snap grabs after whipping around a corner at mach 1 feels pretty great.
He kind of does; it was said in a development log back in April when he first released. BHVR wanted Ghoul to be a skillshot killer with the ability to down with his power, similar to Slinger. However, after the initial Alpha testing, it was discovered that the skillshot Kagune was god awful to use and hella clunky, especially for console players. Which means he was an unfun killer to play as.
So the decision was made to have him be a hit-scan killer, in order to make the Kagune hits feel more fluid, and the ability to down with his power was removed.
-
Bro, this kind of "demand" isn't going to cut it. DbD is already in a very precarious state right now. Demanding to kill switch a killer just because you lost a match to them or have faced them several times in a row is the definition of entitlement.
Please, if you are this upset, for the sake of your own mental health, log off DbD for the day, go for a walk and get some fresh air or have a nap. Just do something else.
ETA: Also, and this is just a suggestion, if you are genuen ly stumped on how Ghouls counterplay works, and yes there are quite a few options, maybe play him in a few bot games so you can understand how Ghoul players function while playing as him. Trust, it can help understand how the killer works.

It's always Doctors used for this because the bot releases his shocks periodically, so it hits survivors and earns bp etc. Some survivors will also use it to farm, like let themselves get hit and then heal each other for bp. So it may not necessarily appear to the game like the killer is afk.
This is what my friends and I do every time we come across an AFK Doctor, sure it's helping the BP farmer get BP faster, but survivors deserve to get something from the match too.
Wraith is also a very popular AFK BP farmer too, but the AI for some reason doesn't know how to uncloak, so it just stands still while cloaked at spawn.

The doctors he's referring to are AFK bots. They've been around for a long time. There's no one even playing the killer, it's just a program.
Quite literally this, they're super common in the graveyard hours for DbD and beginner MMR.

Lightborn's fine.
I mean. When do you actually bring it as killer? Only when you see a ton of flashlights in the lobby (3 or 4).
And let us face it, survivor teams with that many flashlights more often than not are just out there for one thing and one thing only. Also it's never only the flashlights.
It's meta perks and comms on top.
And if you ask me, this one little perk just evens the odds then. You can still die under pallets or send your looper guy towards the killer.
I've had matches where I've seen the survivors bring 4 flashlights, so I equip Lighborn as a precaution, only for them to not use said flashlights. which is a bit of a headscratcher, like, did they forget they had their items equipped, or did they just not get the opportunity to use them?

Shadow buffing pallets, then calling it a QoL update, is incredibly dubious. It barely tickles certain killers, punishes others while handholding survivors who will always have an escape route.

I play 40% survivor, I know exactly how bad it can be. I know how frustrating it is to get bodied over and over again. But do you know what I do when things get annoying? I suck it up, or I hop off the game and do something else. I don't go to the forums to vent my spleen and suggest unbalanced changes that favour survivors over killers.
Complaints like yours are how we get idiotic and extreme changes like the extreme anti-slug and anti-tunnel proposals that recently got scrapped from the PTB. Because they're not legitimate complaints, rather it is BHVR caving to extreme survivor frustrations.

So maybe you should stop trying to twist and turn your arguments when people rightfully point out how unbalanced and unfair they are, and just admit that you have no idea what you're tallking about and are just trying to vent some frustrations after being bodied in your last few matches.

Personal problems and pettiness are no excuse for a horrid and senseless ban system that makes literally no sense to implement for the game and that will only ruin matchmaking and unfairly punish people for simply wanting to play their favourite killers. No one is entitled to cherry pick what they go against. If you don't like it then leave the match and suffer the relevant penalties.
But hey, i guess we should ban all items, exhaustion perks, second chance perks, healing perks too because we don't want to play against those either. :)
The absolute last thing this game needs is players having agency over what other people are allowed to even play as. We all know the exact killers 90% of people are gonna ban. The type of system only works in team based games where you select characters in the lobby anyway.
Exactly! I did the math, 3 bans per survivor, which is 4, so that's 16 killers in total of a roster of 41 killers. Out of those 16, barring double-ups, that leaves a grand total of 10 killers from the available pool. And even then, there's a chance that those 10 killers will be banned due to personal grudges, which whittles it down even further.
Which means, NO ONE will get a match, killer or survivor. Even then, there's a 99% chance that survivors will DC because of one reason or another.

Because those crybabies contribute to devs salary - by buying DLC, by buying skins. They are the part of why we have this game.
Singularity is very opressive, that's why I put him there.
Tho we mostly agree, I believe.
I strongly believe that banning 3 out of 41 killers would be fair.
No way, banning killers would be incredibly unfair.
Going by that logic, I as a killer, should be able to ban survivors such as Mikela, Sable, Leon, Meg, Dwight, Kate, Bill, because they're super common and they're boring to face against.
Like, be for real right now. Why should Legion, Ghoul, Nurse, Blight, Billy, Dracula, Spingtrap etc have to sit in longer queues just because they're the top-hated picks of now, if not all time? It's unfair to the people who just want to play their favourite killer, or because they were interested in the IP and are now punished for playing a killer they rightfully paid for?
Like, I hate Plague. I always DC against her because the sound effects make me feel violently ill while playing against her. But even if I had the option to ban her, I never would. Just because she makes me nauseous, it'd still be unfair for the player trying to queue up as her, as they're not doing it to spite me in particular, they're just trying to play the game.

Why people on forums deny to acknowledge that there are things surviviors dislike?
If there are not surviviors left for you to go against, your game will be dead.
Why don't we care about other human beings?
Aren't we allowed not to like that you tunnel as a blight at 5 gens, using 4 gen resgression perks? Oh my god
The same can be said for the killer role, if survivors are just allowed to walk all over the killers for doing the absolute bare minimum requirement for their gameplay loop, aka downing and hooking a survivor. Then they will leave, and there will be no game either.
It's why games that were touted as a "DBD killer" and "Competition for DbD" died, because they gave too much power to one side and it just killed the gameplay loop.
Like Friday the 13th died, because muther Effing Jason Vorheese could be bullied to buggery and back by the survivor players, same with TCM.

Yeah, thanks for the encouragement. I try not to let it get to me and play like a dick, and I try to just ignore the attention-grabbers. The only really ######### thing I can't ignore is when people (and it genuinely feels like this happens every match) start wasting time at the gates instead, essentially forcing you to confront them. Would love to have an abandon option, similar to the one survivors have.
Yeah, the just leave stuff at the gates is a pain, and most survivors are deliberately trying to annoy you at that point, so it's often best to go to the opposite side of the map, or find basement and go AFK. Stand up, stretch, go to the bathroom, get a glass of water, make a coffee or cup of tea, grab a snack, etc.
Just waste their time as much as they're wasting yours. Sometimes, you may come back to find you have an extra kill you don't remember getting because some survivors are that determined to get under the killer's skin, that they will go out of their way to look for you, and will then not have enough time to get back to the exit gate.

bruh some people will DC because they were the first found in a match and don't want to be chased. I've had insta DCs while playing deathslinger . The people in these videos are burnouts who just need to dc , turn of the game and live their life a little.
Agree, I had people DC against me while trying to adept on Legion and Wraith. Their base perks are absolute crap (Legion's being slightly better with Discordace, so I had some gen pressure), I was getting my cheeks clapped (wasn't tunnelling or slugging, playing normally as possible), and I still had two people DC because I hooked them. All because they weren't healing and went down in the open. XD

Sore winners, venting frustrations after being faced with nothing but a new and strong killer.
After being inundated by new and strong killers for several matches in a row and dying due to BS often outside of your control, adding that you're also dealing with other survivors who can vary from ultra cracked to braindead useless, can drive you a little insane after a while.
So when that frustration finally boils over from 59 to 60, and you're matched with a killer who is trying to play chill, a meme build or is playing a weaker killer, the survivor finally has a chance to release the pent-up frustration and rage that they've felt and go a little overboard and just unleash their fury onto the lax killer. (Since they've also probably come fully prepared to fight for a win, they're very on edge.)
From my experience, I've had people DM me later after they've had a chance to cool down and apologise for being rude in the Post-Game.
However, not all survivors are like that and will just be contented with being rude to the killer, no matter what you do or who you play.My only real advice is to try not to take it personally, easier said than done, I know. If it really starts to get to you, it will probably be a good idea to hop off the game for the night, or swap over to Bots, because at least they don't talk back to you for being a "sweaty toxic killer-main playing a B-Tier and below killer."

I don't get these posts, you have 1 hook with 2 gens left and you still think you deserve your free 4k ? if your first chase was extremely long maybe don't commit so hard, you're getting outplayed why should you win the game ?
This has nothing to do with killers wanting to 4K every game, or even a "free" 4K. They just don't want to be a punching bag for SWFs, nor do they want to have their MMR tanked because they can only scrape a 1-2K before the gates are opened. Like what's the point of playing any killer below B-tier if they're punished for getting a kill before six hooks? Killers that have alternative kill pressure, like Sadako and Pig, will be dead in the water. Trapper would also be heavily punished because most survivors have no situational awareness, and will constantly go down because they'd keep stepping in traps.
Basic M1 killers who can't take advantage of the haste and base kit pop incentives will have no reason to cross the map to pressure gens, because they'd potentially lose their buffs before they can make use of them.
Sabbo squads, with the base kit unbreakable becoming permanent after 90 seconds, could quite literally force the killer to slug them to be able to pick themselves up and continuously disable hooks for 3 minutes. Stack on top of the Lithe+Sprint Burst+Vigil stacking and any killer below B-tier or even a new A and above tier, as I said above, becomes a punching bag for bully swfs and TikTok compilation videos.
Remember, this game lives on its killer player base. If killers are punished even for basic gameplay mistakes, be it their own or the survivors' misplays, they will leave the game because there won't be any reason for them to play killler. Why stick to a game where you're not having fun, or your fun is halved at the expense of others?

yeah they can bump the fill meter up a LITTLE. Nothing too crazy. Otherwise the perk would just not be worth picking compared to plot twist or unbreakable where you’re up and healed or even just up without having to bring additional perks or worry about going back down 100%
Yeah, say like bump it up to like 35/45% and you have to have healed a teammate to get value from the perk. Definitely think it would still be too strong if you could just heal yourself, to get Conviction value.
That way, it would encourage teamwork and make it a little more viable in SoloQ and pair it with "We'll Make It" or something. Like it obviously won't stop SWFs from benefitting from it, at this point, nothing is going to stop that, but idk, just something to make it less OP, but not nuke it from orbit.

honestly the time on it just needs to be bumped up a little so that you literally can’t pick yourself up while vaulting a window without bringing additional perks. I would start there. The amount it takes to fill is generous. Just increase how much the bar has to fill a little.
Agreed, Conviction needs to have a minimum requirement of needing to have healed a teammate for at least one full health state.
Because otherwise, it's a little unfair that you could theoretically go down in front of a locker or a window, trick the killer's auto-aim into opening a locker or vaulting instead of picking up, and in that time, while the killer is animation locked, be able to pick yourself up and run away.
Sure, you go back down, but again, what's stopping you from just having Unbreakable or that one Nic Cage Perk to pick yourself back up if you don't get picked up by a teammate? -

I already commented under other post why I think he requires rework
If u simply remove auto aim and deep wound it’ll be direct nerf of his snow ball and slow down potential and he’ll be weak. I mean what makes him S tier killer rn by many considerations is low effort = a lot of time waste for opposite side. They aren't correlated with vaults. People in pubs just don't know how to dodge it, still, because people were obsessed with ranting more.
His anti loop vault is nothing special or OP. Remove this, he won’t be less annoying. He’ll be even more braindead. Free first hit, than play as m1 simply. Nothing good.
If they’ll slightly nerf him, people will be still not satisfied. If they’ll nerf him a lot by following every complain, we’ll have another dead killer.Whatever, it is just really subjective opinion from me. Personally I want his rework. Slide (hug) tech, and possible potential of vertical gameplay was the only funny thing for me I liked. They removed first, they never added second. I see him as overall ok killer but with no skill expression and lame gameplay for me
BHVR has already said they decided to make Kaneki's Kagune Leap a hit-scan over skill-shot with player accessibility in mind, specifically console players. As they said in a Beta-build, that skill-shot Kaneki was incredibly clunky and unfun to play as and boring to play against.

Bringing Built to Last. Franklin's was never an issue for me. I actually had no idea it was this hated/relied on. I just picked up my item and went in a locker. Did it for my friends too.
Going by a lot of the complaints in this thread, "perks shouldn't counter items" is the main argument as to why Franklin's was so hated, that and it used to delete items from the match after they lost their charges, so people were upset that they lost rare "limited-time items" to Franklin's.

I think it's a leftover hate from where people would bring anniversary items, the killer would hit them with Franklins and force drop the item, the item once it lost all its charges, would then be removed from the game. So they were upset they lost a "limited-time item," at the start of the game.

dropping the item makes its lose charge?
what?
are we talking about the same game here?
the whole reason franklin's was hated was not the item dropping but the fact it made it lose charge ???????
I think they're confusing terminology here. In that they're using "drop" to refer to survivors manually placing their items down, and it being knocked out of their hands with Franklins.
