Let's remove the ability to be pallet stunned to ๐
But yeah, no wiggle progression on drop is okay.
-
I've seen a single video on how it looked.
It looked garbage ๐ like the rest of the game

I can't.
I've been burned too many times and I think a lot of people feel the same.
With ya there buddy. These guys have lowered my moral playing this game.

Okay, how come? As it stands there are no ways to counter any of those perks. So what reason would you be against this?
Not everything needs a counter. Especially killers.
But nah, I simply just don't want it to.

How come? I think it'd be a fair buff.
I just don't want it to counter scourge hooks.
Ya know
-
I'll say it isn't totally ridiculous.
But no.
-
I think it's be cool to let him just cycle through the traps, starting with 2 already.
So whenever he places a trap another will charge his power gauge and then be given to him.
-
That sounds dreadful.
-
Well gens can get done without the part for less time. In fact just the time it takes to do a finish a single chase pretty early ๐

The answer to camping isn't to punish killers for doing it, but rather giving incentive not to do it. The devs just need to actually put some effort into that.
I don't think they could make a reasonable incentive for me to stop face camping.

Eh, even if bhvr did take the feedback into consideration look what they did to so many nerfs and buffs.
Slinger was nerfed into the ground, as some people say, and hasn't been buffed since to make him better. It dang near killed him.
There's no way to tell if they'd actually listen. It would be nice to know more before the actual ptb.
...in fact a lot of nerfs and changes have been taken negatively by the community on this forum...
-
We know bhvr too busy with other killer nerfs so I doubt they'll fix slinger to actually be better. Everything about the guy is slow.
-
I for one hate body blocking. I get infuriated because of it.
The worst part is the survivors are brick walls for some reason.
-
Ds is annoying, even when I purposefully let you get it off on me.

to be fair, nurse is the only killer in the game who has to exclusively rely on her power to get hits.
excluding a few specific scenarios, nurse never gets actual m1 hits.
killers like blight can get m1 hits without their powers fairly often, unlike nurse
Thats the ding ding right there
-
Yeah, probably doesn't need the sprint burst after it though

Now I gotta catch up on the tome
I have to say, the last part was actually kinda good, but overall...I mean..it's what you'd expect from a romance driven plot I suppose. Idk.
-
Now I gotta catch up on the tome
-
I can definitely say I wouldn't let up just because I'm in control if I was the killer. After all I'm not here to farm, I'm here to kill ya dead

It would be too strong as a normal perk. Its effect is already more powerful than Bamboozle which is itself a pretty good perk, the only thing keeping Crowd Control from actually being overpowered is that it's a Hex that can be removed.
Nah man, killers need anti loop and crowd control would be perfect for it as a normal perk.
Just tweak it a little bit and boom, perfectly balanced perk.
-
I've definitely said "geez bro, this guy moving too fast" but anyways.
Talking about their speed they scratch marks literally just be disappearing mid chase. Lost a kill like that either last night or this morning ๐ก.
-
I still say just make it a normal perk
-
Self care it would be cool, because it's self care.
as for coh even with the self healing, people have a lot of criticism about that perk as is.

Thats a massive stretch... No that down right wrong. Evil Dead is fun AF but holy ######### it has some cyberpunk 2077 level bugs and 2016 dbd levels of imbalance
We don't talk about cyberpunk. When it first released looked way better than it does now.
Anyway, that one game is all I needed to see. Every game needs it's tweaks though
-
The most I've really seen of evil dead is the single game I've played of it and I'll say this.
Dead by daylight is complete garbage compared to it.
-
I just don't care to actually try, that's why I'm camping at 5 gens
-
Gideon meat packing plant
-
Yeah, my past few games I've just tunneled the first person I've seen. Did some Demo games then went over to Cannibal
-
It's weird because what could they give us that's a distinct reward that's (I'll just assume) already obtainable in game?
Here are the only(?) things: Auric cells, blood points, or iridescent shards.
Unless they add in something new we don't already have in game, it one of those.

The game just needs a massive balance overhaul map wise. Probably more important than reworking the perks imo.
Finally someone speaking the facts with me. And he has a ghosty avatar, doubles facts.
-
What a coincidence. I'm just tunneling and camping as of right now myself.
DemoStyle ๐
-
I agree with a smoke bomb
-
Id rather have it rather than corn maps
-
This chapter would honestly be great for a free chapter due to the memory aspect or whatever it was.
Sadly it has already been on record they won't even release a free survivor, let alone a chapter.
-
Another is pretty goated, but who cares they have dresses and rabbit outfits.
Most outfits are just cosmetics based on non horror themes. Nea has a literal snow skin
-
Facts
-
We definitely see things differently.
But do I dare give praise to the devs? Hardly, but at least they're trying.

I think without reworking these perks...replacing the meta will be very difficult as the other perks would need to have some considerable changes to make them seem as equally viable to players. Don't forget we have confirmed that we will be making some small base changes as well, so we looked and considered the why behind these perks were used so frequently.
I think in general, the announcement of meta perk changes has gone over extremely well, I think people are looking forwards to seeing these changes put into effect for the most part.
I think most people haven't openly criticized the changes or have only had their doubts and concerns. Me on the other hand, I think that update isn't as good as people make it out to be.
I do want the game changes, but I think focusing on the meta is just a bad move.
-
Probably not
-
Simply put.
Cause them to not be able to use Windows or pallets after using it.
That way it will become a tool to efficiently loop while having a risk in losing due to not using it effectively and won't give survivors an almost gauranteed increased chase time.
-
I think it shows the devs think the perks should make the game. But it's the map designs that need the rework instead.
Dead hard is still terrible and I still say they shouldn't be able to interact after using it.
-
I wish the would use more time to make more maps and not have these garbage ones they be putting out
-
@Mandy said:
We do not put real-life people in our game, it's something we've most definitely stayed away from.
Well....I mean....ya know.. technically speaking....but I get ya
-
I'd say the killers should have 75% kill rate with effort that isn't with ease.
Essentially they can get the 3 man without swearing their genitals off, but they still have to play well or at least know what they are doing.
-
It's a cool idea, could be adapted into something else that doesn't involve teleporting survivors
-
Not at all.
-
Look, us smite players (and dastardly and rogue Loki mains) aren't so excited about slipknot anyways.
I'm just happy I got the skin that was stolen from me so long ago...
-
I'm sure not excited
-
I'd go into the paragraph I just typed, but it just doesn't really resonate well and might just might make the game have a poorer experience.
To sum up, too many perks would be in play and it could just become a terrible experience. So I guess that's that.
So balanced? Ehhhh probably not.
