I read today on the birdy app that there was an exploit going around with codes. They might have disabled them for now.
This could be fake, but it's what the birdy app told me 😶🌫️

Maybe wait for the new version 6.7.0

Thank you lol, I just want the switch port to be good. I dont mind 30 fps, but when the game struggles to reach that and stuff like this happens with things being low-poly and not loading properly it bugs me. Especially when it goes on for months on months.
Oh I'm absolutely with you on this one. I don't play on Switch, I play on PC and I'm really annoyed when a game being ported to PC sucks. I really wish you'll get this aknowledged
-
I admire your consistency with this!
-
Game is balanced around new players, for the most part
-
There are definitely people who hide all game because they want the killer to DC, but luckily they're extremely rare.

the addon lets you actually use your power in a fun way without being extremely punished because a meghead locked a locker 2 minutes ago
That feels very personal :)

You can equip Calm Spirit OR you need to teabag the killer so much that he will eventually hit you on the hook.
-
I usually take the teabags as a way of communication between the survivors and the killer himself.
Between survivors, a teabag can mean a "hello" or "thanks" when you finish healing each other.
From the killer's POV, a teabag can mean a way to distract you from your objective, patrolling generators is important and if you get distracted you may lose the game entirely. It can also happen that you, as killer, may have done something that everyone has never seen before so they teabag in a way of "yeah, I saw that too, buddy".
Then there's the teabag at the exit, it can be a way for survivors to say goodbye to their fellow opponent, or... They just want to be rude
-
This made me giggle

At least they are in Alphabetical Order. Can you imagine if they were in Release Order?
The problem I have is that I know perk names in English. Since I'm Italian, I play the game... in Italian. The perks change name in the Italian version of the game (like any language) and it becomes such a mess to find them 😂
-
The survivor most likely had 1 flashbang in the hand and the other one ready. All he needed to do was to use 1 flashbang, jump in and out of the locker and grab the other one. That's how you can have 2 in a short amount of time

It would be too good to have and we can't have nice things :(

While I might agree on facecamping Bubba being boring to face, I refuse to believe you have 10+ minute queues
-
If you have a mouse with 15 buttons you could bind every button to movement, controls and actions
-
Eh, i did it randomly the other day without even noticing it.
Don't get me wrong, if you only aim to get the achievement you will suffer a lot. I just found it funny that I did it randomly

Is this live or PTB? I know with build like this Gens will be rushed in both, but I just want to know.
It's live, you can see it from the symbols next to the names. They're on another platform
-
With matches like this, I just go and make myself a coffee since there isn't much I can do, realistically.
Luckily they're rare, but it's just not a good time for the killer.

Holy Audiodidact, and you get this stack all the match. Of course, you start slow, but holy!
Do any perk can counter this tho?
If you really have a problem with autodidact you can simply commit to a chase without leaving someone injured, you can equip nurses calling and see who's healing who and where exactly, you can equip sloppy butcher to interrupt someone healing someone else and reset the heal progress entirely.
Getting stacks of autodidact is really difficult in solo. You have to ignore gens and go for every unhook to gain stacks but what if the killer comes right back? Now you have no stacks and have to do it all over again. The time you spend gaining stacks is a lot. You could do 2 gens in the meantime
-
It's not "survivor mains crying about healing changes". It's "players worried that healing someone else taking an insane amount of time with certain killer perks against".
I've seen people mentioning "just bring autodidact, bro" but is it better to bring always only a perk to fix a problem or is it better to fully address the problem?
-
It's in the patch notes, so it's an intended change. Rightfully so. I always did one of those 3 gens every single time I played on Haddonfield. Have you ever seen a blight camping that from the start of the game? That's how bad it felt.
-
That's the buffer they've added to flashlights for like a few fractions of a second. Making whoever gets a flashlight save feel like they got it right even when they're wrong
-
They've been doing this recently a lot. They push things out on Wednesdays instead of Tuesday. I wonder if it's because they need that extra day for something. Who knows
-
I genuinely hide every name (including mine) to get a more immersive experience. You should try it sometime :D

There's a tome challenge where you have to dodge basic hits. And I'd like to know how, too, TBH. I think, in the past, I've kind of cheesed it by standing near the killer while the killer hit somebody else, but I'm not sure if that still works.
You can try with breakout and stand in front of the killer as he's going to a hook. It works for me :D
-
Killers will go from gen slowdown to heal slowdown.
Survivors will either use heal speed perks to fight the heal slowdown meta or they will just do gens while injured with resilience.

yeah but DH is an base perk that you have david i dont have off the record
Brother, decisive strike was the most used perk and it's a paid DLC. To get off the record you need to play at least 60 hours to get the character.

Two gens can spawn in main building and a gen always spawns out side of it which most if not always causes a massive three gen problem. Here's the thing yes I've seen people been able to solve a three gen with no problem but thing is the three gen was easy because the killer still had to move a bit but on asylum if a gen spawns in that half cycle room I don't know the name of it then basically the game is over for the fact a massive basically impossible three gen will happen. I don't know if that's RNG being just bad but aren't gens supposed to be at least a good distance away so their not in the same area?
Sure, a killer can patrol those 3 gens all game. But with the upcoming patch basically overcharge and call of brine will get nerfed so that the closest 3 gens can't be held anymore for a longer time, I feel.
You can always equip Deja Vu to help you do one of the closest 3 gens on the map to prevent the killer from patrolling it ^^

It's a really trash change that does everything the community doesn't want: It's blocked by camping, disabled by hard-tunnelling, and is going to work significantly worse in solo queue than in swiffers.
If you get hard tunneled, you can have off the record. It does the exact same thing as dead hard without you having to activate it and time it coreectly I think, right?
It's an overall healthier change for the game, as too many survivors rely on it. It's the exact same perk BUT you need to unhook someone.

@Interocitor said:
Some people do that continuous slugging to finish the high number knockdown challenges in one match
Yep. I do this every time I have the knockdown challenges. I play mostly for challenges and I want to have chases while also getting my challenge done in a match if possible.
-
It should be on April 19. Usually it's always 3 weeks after PTB

The killer just casted a mend spell on her to make it fair.

Eh, nothing new
-
Of course, don't get me wrong. There already a lot of healing perks. I'm just saying that BHVR by doing this change to healing, they will just have more room for newer healing perks
-
Dead dawg saloon for me as killer is very boring. It's mostly wall breaking simulator.
I prefer coal tower as killer and new RPD as survivor.
-
Imagine the conversation between Valve and BHVR.
"Hey, can we get shirtless Bill in our game?"
"HUH 🤨"
-
I always use perks that require me to hook everyone in the match: no way out, grim embrace, BBQ (even if it doesn't give stacks, I still like using it) and the latest perk Leverage (it slows down heals for each hook for 30 seconds).
I can say that most times I can't even get to 4 stacks of grim embrace or no way out because it's really damn difficult to hook everyone twice.
But I prefer an actual challenge instead of camping, tunneling and slugging. Boring af. It's not the end of the world if I lose some matches of dead by daylight.
-
While it's nice to get haste, her gameplay feels still the same. I was on Garden of Joy, and my only chance to win was holding down a 3 gen (1 on the house, 2 outside) in order to barely win. It's still not fun at all, in my opinion.
-
This got changed on purpose. I'm assuming they didn't do it for mending because nobody heals a teammate affected by endurance.
-
It probably happened because Myers on his screen saw his killing animation starting, on your screen you dead harded. The server decided what actually happened during that 0.5 seconds and this is the result.
Your UI now disappears when someone uses a Mori.
-
I'm pretty sure you need to do that challenge in a single match
-
This happens since August 2022 :)
So annoying
-
I'm pretty sure that from the game files you can disable the HUD by changing an option. But be careful that any modifications in the game files may lead you from an automatic ban from easy anti cheat.
-
They just gave a code for the skull merchant's launch. They also gave us a code (200k BPs) for the Knight and Vittorio's Tome.
They are giving us codes, you need to find them :)
-
You need to also think "is it fun to play as?" instead of only "is it fun to play against?"
You should NOT aim to stun Nurse, Blight or Spirit. Even if you do, it's not fun as nurse to get stunned 5 seconds after a pallet stun. Nurse gets already stunned all game after her blinks.
Spirit already is a lot weaker than she used to be. You can clearly hear when she's phasing where she is and she has a power to recharge before using it again. Sunning her for 4 seconds would be a horrible change.
Blight is also fine as he is. The only thing he needs is a couple of add-on changes.
-
They just came out. Give them time :)
-
Soon™

I feel like it's just buying 1 level with a button. I hope it's more than this, but I feel that's exactly what it will be

They said they're looking to rework perks this midchapter. Did Peanits really say that they're not changing it till July? Even with an upcoming perk rework patch?
He didn't say that. He just said that there's been a lot more noise recently about dead hard (keyword: recently) meaning that we will not see any change to dead hard any time soon, that's how I feel.
They also said that they plan on doing perk changes during mid chapter updates. Meaning that if we don't see dead hard getting changed in April (mid chapter) we will definitely see a change to it in July (next mid chapter).
My theory at least.
