Agree. But don't worry. Peanits said it's something people have only talked about recently. It will get changed if we're lucky in July. Don't expect to get changes to dead hard any time soon (like April, forget it)
-
You did have the option to do generators. No need to report, open support tickets or anything like that.
He wasn't holding you hostage in any way. He was just annoying because "reasons"
-
Funnily enough, the same thing happened to me a couple of months ago 🤣
-
Maybe it's just not the right killer for you. You should use something else.
-
In DbD mobile, spending bloodpoints is painfully slow. There isn't the bloodweb, but the bloodmarket. You need to slowly purchase one item or add-on/offering at a time and it takes a couple of seconds for the game to process that you bought that item. It may even take you weeks to spend all of that
-
Insidious camping a gen as Bubba after it got kicked while using Dragon's grip (it makes the survivor exposed after touching a gen within 30 seconds of the gen being kicked)

Finishing all the archives challenges in 1 year.

You can equip Technician so you don't make the noise for the killer

The Rock glitch on Ormond or the Bagon on DDS helps Survivors so yeah they are Not Fixing it
The Devs only cares about Survivors
It's not a problem of "devs are survivor sided". It's another problem. Mandy clearly said "we didn't disable the maps because even the killer can get on those spots". What if the killer doesn't know how to get on those spots?
-
You're giving Nemesis an easier chase by getting infected by a zombie. 2 tentacle hits instead of 3. It's better to always get hit by Nemesis
-
An update from DbD mobile Twitter:
They actually changed it so that people will get their auric cells back for licensed characters instead of Iri shards!

The Kill Switch is the last resort, the nuclear option if you like, and definitely not something we want to use for just every issue. We have some pretty strict criteria before we temporarily remove content from the game and it has to be something that's considered game breaking. The map issues around Ormond and Dead Dawg Saloon were not game breaking, both killers and survivors could go up the rocks/cart, Spirit was not game breaking, the game could be played although the audio issue did affect her strength somewhat, it didn't make the game unplayable. Dredge being invisible was extreme and was something that was starting to be abused - so yes, this needed to be kill switched.
Then why Twins didn't get killswitched since they were broken for a month?
You could get literally stuck as Charlotte after hitting someone with Victor. The only solution was to disconnect.
Nurse I remember got disabled when the same thing happened to her. When she grabbed someone right after a blink, she couldn't move all game.
It's stuff like this that makes everyone question the killswitch feature :/

It's likely just because on the test build they use they have everything unlocked.
This is the official description for the image tho. It's also using the old name (inner strength instead of inner healing)

It's a very similar message from last time (November 2021)
-
Yeah it's a jailer problem as fair as I've noticed.
-
All I really want for Billy is to not randomly turn left or right when I start running with my chainsaw. Let's say I'm behind a survivor and I begin to charge my chainsaw. It's really damn hard to hit them because your chainsaw can turn left or right completely randomly. I don't even know why this is a thing.

If dead hard isn't so good as many say, then why everyone uses it?
You said that survivors have to play a perk game in order to win. That's false. Both sides, if they don't bring the strongest perks, they'll have a harder time due to how many bad perks there are in the game. Why would you run any other boon instead of circle of healing? Why would you run ruin instead of call of brine/overcharge?
It's not "killers are still whinging", it's simply bad perks on both sides as far as I've noticed.
You also mentioned that 3 gens shouldn't spawn near each other. Try to use Deja Vu, a perk that tells you exactly where the closest 3 gens are. Even if you don't manage to break a 3 gen, it's also fine. You can't always win or always lose. That's how a balanced game should work. You just can't win every time. Get over it.
-
I'm sure dead hard WON'T be changed. As Peanits said in another post, people made a lot more noise than usual recently with Dead Hard, so that tells me that it will not get changed in this mid chapter, but in the next one 😨
-
On the new mobile version of DbD mobile this feature will be present. I see no reason why this shouldn't be a thing.
Let's say I'm playing trapper and my game crashed. That trapper becomes a bot until I either rejoin the match or not. If I rejoin, I'll take control over the trappy bot and resume from where he stopped. If I don't rejoin, trappy bot will do his job without ruining the match for anyone. Survivors won't even notice that someone crashed or DC'd

It's been years since Freddy had changes. Right now, even as survivor, I feel bad to whoever is playing Freddy those rare times I find him. Just give him a gun al(f)rea(d)dy
-
It should

I'm sure something broke with Dredge. Back when the ptb went live 3 weeks ago, Dredge had default chase music, not his usual one. I don't even know how this happened but maybe, while attempting to change Dredge's chase music back to his original one, they somehow broke him even more? How?!

I've searched what this error is and it says that it can be either server error (which isn't the case at the moment) or an error on your end like your connection not working. A solution I found is to either restart your pc or your router and in case you get this error again the last solution I found is to press "try again" multiple times and see if it works.
If it still doesn't work I suggest you to contact support

I never dodge. As killer, if I dodge I may screw another player due to the backfilling system. As survivor, I may screw my teammates always due to backfill system. I just let the matchmaking do its job and give me my teammates and opponents.
-
I only got 1 that camped everyone to death without even bothering to use drones to check on gens. It was such a dumb game that ended in a couple of minutes with the killer winning and saying "ez"
-
I'm having so much fun with her too! Good job to the Devs for making such a fun killer <3
-
YES! Thank you devs <3

has it been fixed?? Has anyone found a way to do this??
Still no fix

I just give the kill to the killer and move on if someone decides to waste his time like this. It happened with dead dawg saloon and it didn't get killswitched, it won't happen this time as well.
I always ask myself why they even have a killswitch feature if then they don't use it.
Take Fortnite as an example. If an item/game mode doesn't work as intented or gets exploited by players in any way, it gets removed almost immediately.

Knight's most efficient gameplay style while chasing a survivor is to drop a guard at a loop to shut it down, letting all the work be done by the AI with minimal brain input from the player itself. The fact that this gameplay encourages W gaming and, if not in close range to another loop, a free hit/down, is simply bad design. In fact, the majority of the playerbase isn't happy with that killer at all, as proved by the huge amount of negative feedback received.
Anywae, what it should be like is that guards shouldn't be able to down survivors. Buff their utility if you want, buff their movement speed. Let that bot (who am I refering to with this, the AI or the Knight player?) get the the free injury, but why should they get also a free down?
Knight's guards shouldn't be any different than Legion's frenzy tbh
You mention minimal brain input. If the Knight drops his guard on a loop, just leave the loop. You get hit? Of course, it's how the game goes. A survivor lasting more than a minute in chase should never be a thing.

I understand what he says regarding the potential mind game that there's with Dead Hard.
I disagree during the last point he makes tho. He said that if they made dead hard useless, survivors will use sprint burst and people will complain about sprint burst and he continues by saying that if Devs nerf sprint burst and all the exaustion perks then survivors won't have exhaustion perks left. I want to point out that this is exactly what happened to killer with gen defence perks...

Get ignored

All autodidact really needs is an increased skill check probability while you heal someone. It's so stupid that you heal someone for 16 seconds and you get no skill check at all.
-
It's completely fine to take a break from the game. I wish more people would do that instead of looking for a match for then giving up early game for no reason :)
-
Basekit unbreakable is most likely closer than we think. That's why they're not changing anything

Keep fighting, one day you'll get that acknowledged

I think we're really going to need BHVR to give the context as to where the ghost face theme came from, and if it's non-copyrighted or not, and I know it's a game about Russia... but the huntress lullaby plays in the next room after this, I'm just saying, it's a little TOO coincidental not to be looked into
I don't really think this teases a collaboration, but I definitely think it begs the question where did the ghost face theme even come from for atomic heart to have the ability to use it? and if it is copyrighted why would BHVR give out the rights to this song, all interesting things
I love atomic heart, what do you guys think?
Omg! I wanted to upload this to the forum too but I had no time to open the recording program and send it here because it ended immediately. I'm really curious about this as well
-
If you block 3 generators for all the trial, survivors will never be able to win
-
As long as you don't share them to the public, I see no reason why not using them. Don't take my word for it tho, but I'm sure you run no risk
-
I went in with Mikaela. Currently I'm at p27. I mainly do it to always have items and add-ons ready to go.
Other p100 I've seen so far were Nea, Feng, Myers, David, Mikaela and Claudette

You can't wake up from all the "bubbles", you need to go to a specific one shown in white
-
Not a bug, you can't watch tome cinematics while in a lobby, you have to go in the Archives from the main menu for some reason they explained in a recent patch note. I think they said that you were going to get a disconnection error or something while watching the cinematic

I do have like 35k shards accumulated over the last couple of months. But everyone chooses what to do with their money. If I decide to buy the upcoming chapter with my money it's up to me.
During the cheaters epidemic, I didn't give them a cent because (in my opinion) they needed to fix a lot of things about it. After I noticed that they were taking this situation very seriously, I decided to buy the rift, some licenced characters and so on because (always in my opinion) they did the right thing and deserve my support.
This new chapter brings 2 reworked maps, the addition of a main building in Shelter woods (maps are free), 1 new killer, 2 new survivors and a total of 9 new perks. I think it's completely fair to support them after all of this.
That's how I see it.

It is literally useless to use. I see no point in clicking multiple times in a row in a game where every action requires a bar to fill
-
Let it become "everywhere to hide"
-
I wonder what really happened behind the scenes. Maybe "Dwelf" was the leaker after all? We can only speculate 😆
-
Bloodweb is pretty laggy recently for god-knows-what-reason. Maybe this is related to that

Eruption was too common. I can't recall a match where the killer wasn't using it for a long time now. It basically became an extra power to all the killers and a constant annoyance to survivors. It wasn't always an issue to play against but there were too many matches where killers were benefiting too much from it. It was especially a problem against tunnel killers where you had to focus more on saves and interventions and almost no progress on gens. Eruption was a bit too much in its current state.
You can say that about dead hard too, tho.
