I mix that up sometimes I thought nurse was the first killer added to the game
She was, but she was free.
-
Shape, that was the only one available to purchase at the time.
-
Fix it, and then put on a more appropriate lower duration, to compensate for Enduring's change from over a year ago.
-
Well i don't put their needs above mine, but i prefer to not be a dick, cause i need players to play this game.
And i may only "scare" away a few if i was being a dick, but i simply don't want to contribute.
-
What bad play?
Since i'm Wraith-only, the one i'm chasing is usually in the Injured Health State before they can do such a thing.
So if they get me close to a Survivor who's healthy and repairing, i can deal more total damage (potentially 2 hits on guy #2 & 1 on #1, instead of 2 on #1), and i can pause progress on this Generator, and the other one will either continue that Generator and be open for an easy hit, or waste time healing.
I don't always go for #2 though, that on-hit sprint can sometimes launch them way too far or to a too-good loop.
Going for #1 after hurting #2 would still result in 3 total damage.

Way for killers to go around it and still get it done: Green Mori, and other perks that grant the exposed status. You can get the challenge done with Devour Hope cleansed, if it is like the third seal and ruin challenge.
I think "while using" throws a lot of people off.
It can imply that you need to use that equipment to fulfill the requirements for completion.
Probably thinking it needs to be up to complete it.
-
If you really want to not use them and get rid of them, you can always just offer them and then not kill.
-
No, i find it boring to stand still.
-
No hate for it, it's just a giant demotivator to continue trying to kill.
-
Still gonna go with Alan Wake.
-
Oh cool, i get to bring up my idea again...
Object of Obsession
As the Killer's Obsession, if not in the Killer's Terror Radius, you will reveal your Auras to eachother up to a maximum range of 56/64/72 meters.
If you are not the Obsession, you and the Obsession will reveal your Auras to eachother up to a maximum range of 128 meters.
Increases the odds of being the Obsession.
The Killer can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.
This is just an idea though, i personally don't care if OoO gets nerfed or not.
-
Very biased towards Kindred, used to run it in my main build even before its gigantic buff.
-
Thanks for the tagging & writing-down.

I don’t think it will be mind blowing to the community or too difficult for the devs to just treat Hex: Haunted Grounds as a single totem hex instead of a double...
in this unique scenario.
That's indeed not mind-blowing, that's a nerf.
-
Some people can enjoy a game while acknowledging its problems.
If you can't, that's fine, that's your choice.
-
Hex: Haunted Ground poses a problem then, if you're doing a full-on Hex build that includes that Hex Perk.
-
Seems like normal, sucks that you can't find people quickly.
-
I would dislike them for doing so, then keep playing.
I've got dozens of 'em, i'm not gonna be petty over 1 finally being taken from me after playing for dozens of trials.
-
Same goes for them simply escaping your shoulder, stun duration for that is way down.

I think realms ( https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Realms ) are the correct term.
Maps ( https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Maps ) means the item.
Well yeah, the Item Map exists, but Realms refers to, for example, Coldwind Farm, and maps of that realm refers to, for example, The Thompson House, Torment Creek etc.
So my question was: Do you mean to ban a Realm like Coldwind Farm, or do you mean to ban a map like Fractured Cowshed?
Sorry for not being clear.
-
I know you're saying map, but just to make it clear to my brain: Map or realm?
-
"Hex: Devour Hope"
What challenge?
-
It's only natural to like one more over the others, whatever reason that might be.
-
The "Switch to Survivor/Killer" button.
-
Your 3rd sentence says it all.
Though maybe not at this scale, i saw enough complaints about the Doctor, cause he was meant to "change how the Survivors play against him".
Successful or not, it had the same effect on player feedback for a little while as Executioner does today.
-
It's actually split pretty okay, only Demogorgon/Oni is really behind.
-
Moris & Keys.
-
Self Care is limitless, Inner Strength isn't and can be taken away.
It doesn't really matter how often your heal gets "robbed" with IS, the very fact that it does can make SC seem like a more appealing option.
I mean, you can hear enough complaints on these forums of people using SC.
You found the Dull Totem, it's up to you what you want to do with it.
I personally cleanse them whenever i see them, otherwise i know i'll lack in Boldness BP.
-
Well thanks to recent additions...
Protect Hex: Devour Hope
Killer Power
- Wailing Bell (Personal preference, you can have variants of this build for any Killer.)
Add-ons
- "Windstorm" - Blood / "Windstorm" - White / "Windstorm" - Mud (To get to your Hex Totems quicker.)
- "Windstorm" - White / "Windstorm" - Mud (To get to your Hex Totems even quicker.)
Offering
- Murky Reagent (Because of my Killer Power choice.)
Perks
- Hex: Devour Hope (Required.)
- Hex: Haunted Ground (To reduce the chances of an important Hex Totem being cleansed.)
- Hex: Thrill of the Hunt (To slow down their cleansing speed and to know which one's in danger.)
- Hex: Undying (To know which one's in danger and to (possibly) preserve Hex: Devour Hope.)
-
Yes actually.
As Killer, i might sometimes see a lobby full of Survivor globes, but mostly it's somewhere between 0-2 globes.

I'm curious, who all are you talking about? Just Trapper, Wraith, and Billy? Or even more of the earlier killers besides them?
I agree that updates to the OG threes' really bland and basic mori animations would be awesome, but I feel that all of the other mori animations are generally fine as they are (though I also wouldn't mind if Huntress's mori was improved a bit too).
Though I'm probably in the minority on this opinion, I also want to have an option to toggle the mori view between 1st and 3rd person cameras (as I actually prefer remaining in the killer's perspective during mori's). Players who want to keep the cinematic 3rd-person-view camera when mori-ing survivors could do so (and have it for the older 1st-person moris of Nurse, Doc, and Huntress), while players like me could have the more visceral 1st-person-view for all of them instead.
Always talking about the original 3.
From Nurse and henceforth are all fine by me.
-
Yeah, i've always preferred high green & all of purple.
To this day, every now and then i get people who are utterly taken back that i'd run something like Hex: Devour Hope, and i love that i do that to them.
They also sometimes state how surprised they are that i don't camp as Wraith.
I'll keep my B&C though, those Auras help big time for my build.
-
The lack of uses that Putrid Serums provide to the Killer is what disappoints me.
He injects himself to run slightly faster...No other effect? Not using them on the Survivors? Not having plants grow around the map or smthn?
It's my opinion that they really dropped the ball with this one in terms of Killer Power design.
But that's also just about it though, the rest of the chapter to me seems either fine or better.

I wish I could wear what I like. If Im seen and made to run, it's game over for me. 😢
Well it's not like i won't die.
I just put fashion over escaping. 😋

Wraith.
Hard to get kills with others when this is what you mostly play as anyway.
-
Wouldn't be a regular on the forums if i didn't.

Yes I definitely disagree with THIS particular method being a thing in the game. It’s unhealthy and do you remember when Pyramid Head had the ability to see cage auras? EVERY match was like that on EVERY platform and it was complained on these forums for a good time and it got fixed right away. But as you can tell from the video, it did not get fixed entirely so it’s going to leave people upset because we thought the Devs had fixed it but OBVIOUSLY not.
No, i cannot tell from the video as it's from your perspective, not the Killer's.
I don't know if they saw the Caged Survivor's Aura, for all i know the Killer went there because they saw the Exit Gate Switch Aura and thought that there would be Survivors there, and then simply stumbled upon this Caged Survivor.
I myself don't know if it actually is bugged, but this video can't tell me that.
Also, since you have now clarified to me what you think is unfair, and if it is indeed bugged: Yes, that would be pretty unfair, and i would hope that it then gets fixed ASAP.
-
Nope, i had all characters at P3-50 at one point, then when new characters were added, i didn't want to level those to max. at all.
I'm not a bragger, i'm intimidated by skill and not blood, and i don't really care how hidden my Survivor can be, i wear what i like.
-
Wraith C?
Acceptable.
-
Were you completely inside?
I can see Auras of Survivors moving in/out of them, only those who have finished the animation of going in have become invisible.
-
I don't see why you think this should've been a lost kill.
Or at least, the Killer seemed to not think it was lost.
As long as a Survivor is in the trial, they should have the ability to be injured and die.
And so the Killer here used the tools available to them and managed to still get a kill in at the end.
If you mean you disagree with this particular method being a thing, then idk what to say because it might be this way forever.

I meant that people commented the same thing. And I prefer when people add something interesting to conversation, not the same thing over and over.
There was nothing else for me to add really, that's my take on why they keep the prices like this.
I mean i could say something else, but i'd either not believe it to be the case, and/or it would just be a lie.
-
Wraith.
Super-lunge hits with Exposed active won't ever bore me.
-
Yup, pros and cons.

So you said that people love to buy overpriced pixels in a game that needs to be "fixed". Nothing new to the conversation
And The prices for skins that DON'T SELL should be lowered. It's the best option for suprisingly everyone.
If i added nothing new, then why ask the question when you already knew the answer?
As long as they make good money on other skins, they'll see no need to lower the price of lesser-selling ones, and can chalk it up to people just not liking those cosmetics.
-
Companies like money, and people are paying these cosmetics enough for them to keep up these prices.
If everyone had your mindset, surely you'd see prices drop, as they'd rather sell at a lower price than sell no cosmetics at all.
"Just pixels" isn't everyone's full thoughts on cosmetics though, some people love to don new cosmetics or roleplay.
There's people who main a certain character just for their cosmetics too, which is especially true for the Survivor role.
-
Well obviously OoO is gonna be worse to some degree against my Wraith.
But i've even been able to use OoO against them during some loops as well.
It probably also requires some bad moves from the Survivor, but having an "All Seeing" - Blood effect has helped me a few times before to land a hit that i might not have otherwise even known about that i could land it.
-
Uhh okay, so i don't want to sink lots of time in looking at 42 characters and all of their skins, so i'll tell you my least favorite for my man Wraith.
Head & Cloak
Ripped cloak (gloomy)
Reason: This blue with this red? Yeah no.
Body
ashen wraps (somber)
Reason: Disgusting piss/vomit color, i'm not playing Plague here.
Weapon
raw spine
Reason: Just seems boring, it's a regular stick with a not-outstanding blade strapped to it.
Full outfit (so no outfit that consists of 2 or less pieces)
Wetland wrecker
Reason: It just doesn't feel like the Wraith.
I know he's got a backstory now from the Archives, but i can't help it: I look at this and i don't see the Wraith.
I don't have this problem with all other outfits.
