Can tell you Only play killer, her lunge is awfully bad for survivors..... she can tickle your bum from a mile away
No, you are misunderstanding her lunge.
All killer lunges are the same aside from the exceptions he mentioned.
His lunge only appears further because of his model size and lack of a weapon. This means his hand has to "visually" look like it reaches further so that it ends up reaching the same distance as other killers with a weapon. It is completely VISUAL, not actually further.

Rank 9. Comeback when you're 1 boy.
Rank 1 is quite easy as well as survivor.
-
Clown and Legion are both way down in F tier.
Also regarding Legion, "but if played right can even take strong swf to their knees.". Not even remotely.
-
Those aren't hit box problems, those are dedicated server problems.
-
It's like 75% of the other killer perks that are way under tuned. However, Mindbreaker is near the dead bottom. It's complete trash and as bad as it looks at face value.
Even in its absolute best case scenario with a stealth killer and all 4 survivors running SB it is still bad.
-
Not many people playing Demo.
That said, watch Fungoose on twitch or youtube. He plays all killers including Demo and is one of the best killer players I've seen.
-
It's pretty bad.

Between Spirit and Huntress
-
Seriously, it wasn't even acknowledged on the list of known issues they posted.
This is happening like every other patch now and every single time it takes months to even get acknowledged much less fixed.

I'm glad someone agrees.
You are right there are many factors. Such as survivors playing greedy at the end for points, going for unhooks rather than leaving. That can turn a 1k into a 3k easily.
But yeah I see so many games where NOED alone changes a 1k into a 3k. It often grants 2 extra kills on average I feel. You see killers get dominated all game then turn it around with one perk.
I think if NOED went along with Ruin kill rates would plummet but in the long run the game would benefit greatly when proper balance is introduced.
I agree. I don't think second chance perks in general that require nothing from the user are healthy for the game at all. I'd like NOED, DS, BT and Unbreakable all changed.
-
That issue with NOED is just one of many reasons why I kept saying those kills stats are near worthless. Just NOED single handedly skews those numbers hard and makes killers look more deadly than they actually are in terms of balance. There are multiple other factors as well though.
-
While toolboxes are currently an issue, even without them there is still a gen speed issue so they are not the sole problem.

Actually, I like that idea. Extend the timer, make it so that a hit that would down gets transferred to either the closest or farthest uninjured survivor. This way, unhooks are still encouraged to heal quickly, but with the additional time to it, they're given a bit of a buffer if themselves or the unhooker mess up. And it's not a completely costless hit like the current Deep Wounds gives them.
Yeah and honestly if this was implemented it probably wouldn't even need the DW effect on the rescued person anymore since it would already have its downside of transfering the hit.
-
Bad perk.
-
I'd rather it be a trade.
It transfers the hit from the person rescued to the rescuer. This preserves its purpose of protecting the rescued survivor but prevents completely unsafe hook rescues with no consequence.
-
The new Ruin would fill that gap, the problem is it's still a totem which ruins any of its potential. It also isn't helping his early game which is where we need it.

That's a design problem, not a balance one. Because, hint hint, her design is inherently unhealthy.
If something needs to be utterly OP to be fun that's not good design.
Never said it was a balance problem. I would change things about her design.
-
Well there's a lot of people that don't actively watch PTB's or news updates that the Ruin change is going to completely surprise.
So yeah, I imagine we will see a lot on release.
-
It honestly doesn't need the cooldown at all.
This could be said for a lot of killer perks for that matter.

You have to be really good to do well with Nurse in high ranks now.
And even then, playing her just isn't satisfying anymore.
I think that's peoples biggest gripe as well, her fun factor. The cooldown doesn't feel fun, regardless of how strong or weak she is now.
-
Exit gates should regress if not finished imo. As long as there's more than one survivor alive anyway.
-
Just run Kindred and then fill up the rest your slots with second chance perks like everyone else.
-
You are misunderstanding what people mean by "gen rushing". They aren't saying you shouldn't be trying to do your objective as soon as possible. What they are saying is that you should be able to do them as fast as you currently are capable of.
Those are 2 very different things.
They are pointing out that losing because of that isn't fun, not blaming you. The system is simply flawed.

Yeah the highly inaccurate and misleading stats lol

She's pretty pitiful in her current state. Extremely rare to see a Nurse now and when I do she gets completely destroyed.

What's your rank and hours played?

You know absolutely nothing about me and I most likely could.

Literally nobody plays Hag, thats why I put underrated.
We are talking about power level, not how often they are played.

Underrated* She can be incredibly good
Overrated* Very few people actually put her low.

Legion.
-
Hags one of the most overrated killers on the roster imo, not even close to the best. She's quite easily countered by competent survivors.

I've gotten a lot of Myer's perks as recommendations I'll have to but him next or wait till some of his perks are in the shrine
Myers has some good perks.
Just always shred your obsession and you get to sit at full 8 stacks all game basically.
-
STBFL is just god tier on Demo. After getting used to it I don't think I'd ever want to take it off him now.
-
The sounds are still so bad. It seems to be the running sounds and while slugged. Just had a game as Feng on the ground with me making absolutely zero sounds, no Iron Will or anything.
-
Actually an interesting idea. This would slow down the early game like we need and also get survivors more focused on the side objectives.
Even after they keep fixing totem hiding spots they are still always just so awful. Along with still trying to improve the spots they should also make the totems color black in color so they are harder to spot. Lastly make the lit Hex totems only show to the killer. This will make them start breaking totems while trying to find which one is the right one. This is also important because a lot of the time you find the Hex totem just from hearing it because it's so freaking loud.
-
I'd rather it be a trade.
It transfers the hit from the person rescued to the rescuer. This preserves its purpose of protecting the rescued survivor but prevents completely unsafe hook rescues with no consequence.
We can change it to distance based if this change went through.
-
Ruin change isn't good, it's the wrong time.
Killer rank 1, Survivor rank 1

Exactly. That would make a pretty strong combo and add more counter play as well.

I like your idea
It's a much more balanced version of BT in my opinion. The current version just has absolutely zero downsides and completely destroys killer pressure at no cost.
We could even remove the DW effect from the rescued survivor hit as well since it would no longer be needed. The current DW is "supposed" to be the downside but we all know that's a joke.
-
I'd rather it be a trade.

NOED is fine where it is. It can be prevented completely by destroying 5 totems. Which is easy to do. It already has a HUGE downside.
Never said it wasn't easy to avoid or that it didn't have a huge downside, that has nothing to do with why it's unhealthy.
It rewards you for the survivors being lazy, not for you actually doing anything skillfull.
-
I think they're both unhealthy and should be reworked.
I also think all "second chance" perks need to be reworked as well though.
NOED, DS, Unbreakable and BT are all unhealthy for the game in their current state.
-
If we can't even balance a 1v4 I wouldn't want a 2v8 added.

Fair enough, that and them not flickering between you can and can't place them would help.
I've had them placed next to walls where it wouldn't let you use them either.
-
First dying state isn't enough.
It should start at an extremely high amount of base gen progression slow down and steadily decrease as more and more gens are done.

His portals are fine and don't need direct buffs, they just need to be improved so you don't have to fight for so long to place them sometimes. The problems come from the addons being so lackluster, undetectable effect from them doing no good, etc
"undetectable effect from them doing no good, etc"
This is part of what I'm referring to in regards to buffing portals.
-
He looks better on paper than he pans out in actuality. I still think he needs some buffs to portals and to his "Undetectable", as well as reworks to a lot of his addons.
He's just mid tier and mid tier in this game isn't a good place to be.
