- If it does not open the Dead by Daylight Logs folder, it may mean that when installing Dead by Daylight you chose to save your files somewhere else and will need to check there.
- The file called "DeadByDaylight.log" is your log file

Yes, I've tried every "by the book" fixes with the support that's why i'm here asking for help.Here's a recap of things i have tried as of now:• Verified that DirectX is up to date• Verified that Windows is up to date• Verified files integrity • Reinstalled the game• Sent a DxDiag and MSinfo to the support• Redownloaded Microsoft Visual C++• Disabled every overlay i have• Redownloaded my graphics driversI don't own Lara so, my gaming experience depends to the whims of fate and the survivor i meet in the realm of the entity

I had this exact issue and I think it's fixed now for me.
First, I dumped the "game ready" drivers for the more stable "studio" drivers.
Then I set G-Sync (from the nvidia controll panel) to "fullscreen only" mode (or you can try "off") .
Since then, no more crashing.

I enjoyed the winter event because I loved being a snowman and throwing snowballs. I'm referring to the earlier ones where the snowmen actually had smiley faces because it was cute. I also enjoyed the lights out events, specifically because of the candelabra and all the fun people had using them. Additionally, 2v8 was just different and fun with how many people could be in the match. I also liked the anniversary and Halloween events, as well as the My Little Oni event.

I believe that Dead by Daylight could take more risks considering it's a mature game. There are other games that are much more explicit than Dead by Daylight. I remember playing a MOBA or something similar that had several male characters who were half-naked and very muscular. Have you seen the skins The First Descendant puts out? While it mostly features women, the game has a lot of revealing outfits, as well as a few shirtless males, although they are mostly in armor and suits.
I think game developers, including those behind Dead by Daylight, should give more attention to the male characters especially their models. More variety is always good, and considering the Unreal Engine they use, they could make them look really good. It's time to step it up a bit.

I mean they better do something, I didn't pay to have him gimped not even a week into release. So much for supporting the game. Guess I won't do that anymore going forward. SMH

How many killers are they gonna nerf into the ground? They did it with Xeno, they did it with Chuckie, and now Vecna. All his other abilities are lackluster except for the hand, and now they want to nerf the only good ability he has on top of the already long cooldowns, game is getting worse and worse with all the unnecessary nerfs they've been spewing over the months.

It's not about if they only play killer. The bottom line is, it hasn't even been a week since he was released and people are already whining about him. Most people haven't even learned how to play with him, which is what the problem is. But of course, they cater to the whiners as usual. There's nothing wrong with him, and he's already counterable.
On top of that, his cooldowns are long and to be honest his abilities aren't even all that. The only good one is the hand they want to nerf. I rarely ever even see anyone using his other abilities, probably because they're also counterable with the items you get from the chests. But even so, now they nerf his abilities on top of already long cooldowns and his one good ability? -
Getting a refund if they do. I want what was advertised to me, not an inferior, nerfed-down version. I'm tired of this "nerf this, nerf that" mentality just because people can't learn how to counter killers and want everything fed to them like they're being nursed by their mom.
I see now why that video going around about people leaving the game was so popular; now the game is just not the same anymore. It's not even been a week and already people are complaining and want nerfs. It's like I'm playing Warframe all over again; all they knew how to do is nerf things too smh. -

It's because the devs focus too much on survivors ,most notably noobs because that's where the money is. But that's most games now days unfortunately.

It's not really deserving of the 30 dollar price tag more like 20 at best. Too many problems with this game. And they don't even have dedicated servers. Friday the 13 even has it

grind is never good in a any game ever , who says man i love grinding ,its so much fun. some grind is acceptable ,but rediculous amounts of grind to the point you have to stop playing a game for months or years is just no.

chat should of been added to the game, id for once like to be able to say hi or good game ,actually THANK the people for being good teamates ,yes theres good and bad that comes with it but every game that has this feature deals with it and its high time consles had there chance as well. i mean look how long it took for elder scrolls to add thetext chat feature , it was greatly needed . and games do benefit from it .like i said theres good and bad but i think after all this time it sould of been added already

Fortnite hasn't been doing well for a long time it's just hidden. People have been quitting in droves. And if it did do well it was because all the kiddies playing and using there parents credit cards to make them do well financially.

They tried that optional option with gears of war and plenty of other games and that didn't help either. PC players still couldn't find any games with console players why? Because no one wanted the headache. There's a reason why most games either don't support cross play at all or only between consoles .it just works better that way. And it will most likely always be that way.if people want to play with there friends on different platforms then save up and buy that platform.otherwise that's how it's going to be.

Most gamers are situated on the east or west coast of the United States, Europe and Canada Anyone not living in those areas dont usually rack up high populations of people to play unless they are local ,online and servers is another story as some developers implement region locks to combat the horrible lag that comes with playing with people from other countries etc. It's sad but I'm not sure what can be done about this.its always gonna be a problem I guess. Unless some miracle technology is made

Hackers are only on the PC version though . Consoles are fine.
