I like Surge. I just wish I could use it on Killers who down mostly with their power. It’s definitely better than PGTW if your looking to keep your tempo as a killer as you won’t have to do chores such as kicking generators as often.
-
The chapel is my favorite part of Campbell's, and I wouldn't want either the circus or chapel removed from the map. I like how the carnival changes the atmosphere of the otherwise very depressing map.
-
Agreed. I thought this was how it worked at first, but now I’m a little disappointed.
-
This game still exists because of the chases. If stealth was the main strategy to beat the killer I probably would have quit 20 hours in. Most people with more than 500 hours don’t like stealth, and I don’t even enjoy stealth when I’m playing killer.
If I had to choose when I play killer I would much prefer cocky survivors that want to be chased over the group of blendettes in a random bush at the corner of the map. At least I get to play the game against bold survivors.

Yes, but will it though? There are better, more impactful perks. I think that even PWYF is better to close the distance on survivors.
Each chase perk offers a unique benefit. Each will potentially give you a hit where the others wouldn’t have.
Whenever I use Brutal Strength I feel it and I remember a few times where I was just close enough to get a hit in before they reached a pallet or window. It helps and it’s pretty consistent too.
-
It actually is very useful. Any less time spent kicking a pallet or vaulting a window can mean the difference between getting a hit and not getting a hit.
-
Power Struggle really isn’t something to be afraid of. Maybe it’ll work once in 10 games.
-
It’s definitely improved, but they went a little too ham with the breakable walls. I played a couple games and there were like 4-5 breakable walls in the main building which is ridiculous.
-
Many people like how Legion is currently. I wouldn’t want this.

Where did they said that?
A dev responded to a post on the 4.4.0 feedback section about the locker issue. I found out holding victor hostage was an exploit of game mechanics from a developer on stream.

This is not enough, doing gens in her face while she is "AFK" needs to be addressed. Maybe give a speed penalty on repairing for those who are in her TR while you are controlling Victor!
Maybe. We’ll just have to see.
Ghost Face and Blight came out basically unplayable, but when they got to live they were actually good. I believe The Twins are in good hands.
-
The locker issue has been recognized, and it will probably be addressed before they come to the live version. Same thing with holding Victor hostage.
-
Finally, balance has been restored to the universe (and hopefully the map lmao)

These ideas sound fun! But I have a few questions, caps at 4 means 4 m/s or 4%?
Also Julie's Mix Tape doesn't make much sense, because Oblivious Survivors cannot be revealed by Killer Instinct, since they are technically not in your terror radius.
Caps at 4 as in 4 instances of +4% movement speed.
Julies mix tape was an error. I’ll edit it so Legion still has a way to track the survivors.
Glad you liked my ideas :)
-
I wish they allowed survivors to build up the breakable walls instead of them being already built, and the killers just break them at the start of the match. The breakable walls was an opportunity to make survivor more strategic, and possibly more entertaining.
Plus, I’m sure Killers wouldn’t be so upset about the breakable walls If survivors actually had to spend time to build them up.

Devil-May-Care Joey mask, Joey’s ugly Christmas sweater (for winter only other times I use the Devil-May-Care Joey outfit), and Obsidian Blade.

Ok so... I'm not entirely sure how I feel about your rework as a whole. I do however know you made one incredibly large and fatal mistake.
You have made it so Legion can down a Survivor by Frenzy stabbing them only twice after they're in deep wound with only 1 instance of cool down and recharge.
I'm guessing that means that you don't know why Old Legion got a rework in the first place. Here's the thing about Frenzy. It doubles the speed difference between you and Survivors, it allows you to vault windows and pallets, and it gives you a hit cooldown of practically 0 while not making Legion any more difficult to drive unlike some other killers (*waves at Blight and Billy*). This means that the Survivor you go after is pretty much going to get stabbed and they can't do much about it. For Current Legion, this is fine because it is practically impossible to down someone using Frenzy. Doing so with the current Franks Mix Tape, Stab Wounds Study, and 30s mend timer would take... I think 4-5 stabs with each one inflicting 4s cd and a 20s recharge, if you go for that you'll get like 1, maybe 2 downs that way before you've lost every generator. So... current Legion doesn't down with multi stabbing and deep wounds. They do normal M1 chases for their downs. Old Legion didn't work that way. Old Legion had a load out where they could Frenzy stab a survivor over and over and they'd go down. It wasn't a super fast down, but it was faster than what current Legion could do and was nearly impossible to stop.
You've brought that back. Essentially your changes to Deep Wound will give Legion a nearly uncounterable down every ~26s.
It'll play out something like this. Legion pops Frenzy and begins chase. Survivor gets stabbed after ~4 seconds, they're now injured and deep wounded. Legion keeps chasing and stabs them again after another ~4 seconds and they have 5 seconds of deep wound left. Legion goes into cool down and loses their power. Now this Legion is running both rulers so Frenzy comes back in 14s, in the mean time the Legion is continuing to follow the Survivor. Pop Frenzy again, and land another stab after ~4 seconds. Add all that up and you have a Survivor getting run down by a 134%, can vault stuff killer and dying with little recourse in 26 seconds. If you thought the outrage over PH or Slinger was loud... well... this would eclipse that.
Legion wouldn't be able to down survivors in Feral Frenzy because he changed Frank's Mix Tape.

9/10 survivor on a good day, -12/10 on a bad day. I can consistently loop until a killer is forced to leave me or lose the game, but on bad days I can’t even keep a chase going for a minute.
8/10 killer. I consistently win most games (9-12 hooks). I go by hooks because I think it’s the most fair. I still have stuff to learn though.
-
I think you’re setting yourself up for disappointment. They never promised the maps would be getting reworks just that the graphics would be improved.
Not saying that they won’t rework Ormond just saying that expecting a rework is setting yourself up for disappointment.
-
I really like all of these suggestions!
Hey @Almo, what do you think?
-
More often than not you’re better off not wasting time kicking a generator. Most survivors won’t let generators regress very far if they know you’ve kicked it.
I think there should be an instantaneous 5% regression to make kicking a gen more worth your time. That’s just my opinion tho.
-
Legion is a great killer. I play him at rank 1 constantly and I’d say I 4K about 75% of my games. Don’t let anyone scare you away from a killer you enjoy.
-
They buffed like 10 perks in the most recent update.
They will probably do another update eventually because they announced they still want to change some perks in the QnA.

Yes, it has been. I presumed you wouldn't be talking about it or noticing because they wouldn't even dare to announce it. But they have put bushes here and there and they have created the new super infinites. It is absolutely crazy, believe me. Killers can't catch nobody there. It's just impossible.
I'm 99.8% sure that's a bug in the map generation not an actual rework of the loops in Haddonfield.
-
Haddonfield hasn't been reworked what are you talking about?
-
You absolutely need the "Legion" mural :)
-
You can play other killers you just refuse to. Red rank survivors aren't anything to get scared of.

The devs released what seemed to be a teaser with demo in it.
Oh ######### 👀
-
Where did all this talk about Demogorgon come from?
-
Not exactly "one thing", but I would like Legion to get an add-on pass. So many of his add-ons are incredibly boring and some are outright useless.
-
He found hatch first so I think it was earned.
You haven’t earned 4 kills until you have actually killed all 4 of the survivors.
Edited for clarity.
-
I do think wraith does need some help but I would personally disagree with this change. Perceptive players should be rewarded.
I’d much rather he move faster while cloaked.
-
Surge is soooooo slept on. I've been using it in my Legion build as my only slow-down for the past ~200 games and its done an amazing job. The buff it got recently has definitely made me even more addicted to the perk.

Thats just survivors playing smart. Spreading out so Legion can't chain frenzy hits is one of his biggest counters.
If you know a survivor is by himself and nobody else is around just M1, don't even bother using your ability.
Even when survivors are grouped up I struggle to chain 2 stabs because by the time I stab the first survivor the second one has already made a lot of distance with Sprint Burst and holding W.

Wouldn't it be more fun that with every Feral Frenzy hit you go faster? Let's say that you start with 130%, then for each hit get 10% boost to your movement speed and vaulting speed.
That could be like an add-on alternative :)
We really need more speed options for Feral Frenzy. 130% is good and all, but it gets very boring after hundreds of games.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/201309/why-is-legion-so-slow
Or how about this, you start at 200%
when you are within 32 meters of a survivor you slow to 175
when you are 16 meters you are 150
when you are within 8 meters you are 125%
Another idea would be to have him start at a fast speed like 160% then start to decelerate the longer he’s in his frenzy down to 120%, and the speed refreshes every time you stab someone.
-
I really like these suggestions, but I personally disagree with the Franks Mix Tape suggestion. You can potentially get screwed over by a rank 20 meg that just ran the killer all the way to your generator to get you downed. It would just feel unfair.
-
Legion is currently in the middle in terms of kill rate so I don’t think any major buffs are necessary. If there is anything I would like for Legion it’s QoL improvements, and an add-on pass.
-
When the devs stop supporting it. I don’t think any other game can provide an experience just like DbD.

The instant ADS however requires some FPS experience to be pulled off successfully with the frequency some people claim it's being pulled off.
And that's what I meant about learning what he can shoot through/over. So many people try to run him like they'd run Huntress, as if they believe doing so will suddenly change his ability.
Your average Deathslinger player will probably need about as long as a regular Huntress to ADS and shoot, the whole 'just have the surv in the middle of your screen' argument is pretty nonsensical (again, only pans out if someone has massive FPS experience).
And even giving him a definite wind-up time wouldn't do anything about the second point: people blatantly ignoring what his power can do. Like, the know he has a set range, the see the reload animation go through, and still they stand there as if they expect him to walk up and try to m1 them instead of using his power.
I don’t see why a DS wouldn’t aim before ADSing. You just align the survivor with the middle of the screen and do a quick M2 M1.
All ADSing does is warn the survivor “HEY IM GOING TO SHOOT YOU!”
-
I don't agree to making Deep Wounds a chase threat, but I do agree to shorten the timer to 15-20 seconds so survivors feel more pressured to mend immediately instead of doing gens/chests/totems before mending.
-
I prefer passive perks I don’t have to work to activate so I can just play how I want. For example, my legion build is BBQ; Surge, Blood Echo, and Enduring.
-
I always enjoy reading about how Legion's concept can be expanded 😊
Some Feedback:
FERAL FRENZY SHOULD START FULLY CHARGED
The beginning of the game is a very important part of the game ESPECIALLY for Legion. Many times the survivors will spawn together and begin working on a generator. If Legion's power started depleted it would rob him of potential multi-stabs that can carry them to the mid-game.
FERAL FRENZY SHOULDN'T REDUCE DEEP WOUND TIMER
No lethal frenzy even if its really bad >:(
FERAL FRENZY SHOULD NOT DEACTIVATE IMMEDIATELY WHEN NO HEALTHY SURVIVORS ARE NEARBY
I can see this sometimes screwing you over more than it could help. Ex: Survivor vaults off a second floor window on Haddonfield after you FF slash and now you have to sit through a stun before you can slow vault. This could work as an add-on though.
LEGION PASSIVE
I'll try my best to improve upon the concept. Here is what I came up with while brainstorming for an hour:
While chasing an injured survivor after 8 seconds, begin a "Feral Rush". During a "Feral Rush" You can vault windows faster (.9 seconds) and your lunge is extended. Getting stunned, losing LOS with the injured survivors for more than 2 seconds, successfully or unsuccessfully attacking, losing chase, or upon manual cancellation you will become stunned for 2.5 seconds. "Feral Rush" can last forever until one of those requirements are met, but it's unlikely to last for long periods of time.
When Feral Rush activates there is a global audio que and Legion's eyes will begin to glow bright red. He will also have a stance similar to how he looks while frenzying.
-
I sort of agree. His base kit just needs a few minor changes to be perfect, but yeah Legion’s addons are incredibly boring and don’t expand his power in any way.
His power is really good actually. Multi-stabs apply so much pressure to a team and especially with blood echo entire teams just fall into chaos from a single good Feral Frenzy.

alright Ive made a unique addon, what are your thoughts
Suzie's mix tape, Vaulting a window or pallet in feral frenzy blocks them until 10 seconds after the feral frenzy ends (cooldown takes up part of the 10 seconds)
I like that. I think that's really cool :)
-
I’d give Friendship Bracelet a unique effect because it’s essentially a worse version of pills and susies mix tape. Maybe vault speed instead?
-
Survivor perk: Tactician
Performing a medium vault in a chase will block the window for both you and the killer.
Cannot be used while exhausted.
Gain the exhausted status effect for 60/50/40 seconds.
Killer Perk: Hex: Reversal
Anytime your obsession repairs a generator to 90%, the entity will block the generator preventing them from continuing repairs while they are within 8 meters.
Additionally, your obsessions missed skill check penalty is increased by 3%/4%/5%.
Affected generators have a white aura.
-
I’d make it so his gun will explode generators when he shoots them. This would allow him to instantly kick generators that take a while to patrol like the generator on Dead Dawg Saloon that’s upstairs of the saloon.
Allowing him to use his gun as a grappling hook would just look ridiculous tbh.
-
I don’t know what other killer players most prefer, but I’d rather get looped than have the survivor just immediately throw down the pallet and run to the next one. At least you can potentially hit the survivor while they’re looping.
-
The window blocking mechanic just needs a complete overhaul if you ask me. Maybe make it so the killer also cannot vault blocked windows or survivors and killers are forced to vault a blocked window slower. I think it’s just a one sided mechanic that doesn’t leave much room for creativity while remaining fun and interactive for both sides.
My proposal is to make it so both killers and survivors cannot vault blocked windows and increase the sound effect of the window being blocked by the entity so the survivor is more aware of the situation and can react accordingly. Then I’d remove the limitation of 1 blocked window for Bamboozle so that it’s not just a net nerf.
Now that killers also can’t vault blocked windows you could possibly add a new survivor perk that blocks windows when you vault them (would need to be an exhaustion perk or have a hefty Cooldown) with the requirement being a medium vault. That way you have to risk getting hit at the vault to block it off as a survivor.
