    And what happens if the survivor was never hooked before? Should he go straight to the sacrifice? Should the other survivor be able to save them? What if the killer picks him up and drop them 3 times, should they treat it differently and never let the husk break free?

    There is for sure a way of making it work, I know, but in a tech company you have to always take in account the cost-benefit ratio and all the hours of reasoning/coding you have to sunk in developing something like that.

    Plus, if in some games you can't activate a perk once it's not the end of the world, chances are you already got your BBQ stack, and of course they should give the killer Sacrifice points for each DC.

    "Plus, if in some games you can't activate a perk once it's not the end of the world"

    Mate... it IS the end of the world... not bbqing means you don't know where people is doing gens AND not popping means you can't properly regress gens to have pressure and slow down the game... trust me, this is a HUGE survivor exploit...

    If survivors got stuck in Dying State until bleedout/hooked/mori'd I think that'd be better than an auto-EGC sacrifice.

    Auto-Sacrifice still means quitters screw the killer out of hooks and associated perks. People could DC on the way to the hook during EGC to prevent blood warden which was something that actually happened to me about a year ago. I saw a comically sweaty 4-SWF Survivor Team Six SWAT team on Twitch who would always DC on death hook to deny BBQ aura reading and POP activation since they're dead anyway. (This was before they implemented the DC penalties however.)

    Dying State "husks" can't be exploited since there'd be no change in the outcome of the match via a DC. If a survivor quits it's the exact same as if they went AFK, and they're stuck in the Dying State so even if the killer ignores them they'll bleed out after 4 minutes. If someone quits on the way to the hook I can still hook them and get my perk activation.

    This was my exact idea since the start, avoid the survivor exploits by dcing and not conceding perks attivation for the killer that is JUST happening nowadays :\

    You want to counter play a mori easy loop and dont be scare to drop pallet your team will take care of the rest and dont get chase a second time how about playing stealthy for a change

    i rather get chased instead of playing stealthy. Playing stealthy is the weakest way to play survivor, i only play stealthy when the game is going crazyngly bad and the killer is owning team so i try to buy some time by not being chased and leaving tracks everywhere to get his time and attention on me, but not as a way to go gameplay. in terms of mories defense, you cannot really believe that you are forced to drop pallets instantly not to go down and be a burden for your team by vacuum cleaning all the pallets in the map JUST to avoid being moried... You are killing the gameplay of this game AND destroying the fun of a player JUST because you don't wanna fix something that nowadays is only used by frustrated killers to be toxic

  • @ChelseaFreaky said:

    Moris and Noed are really just part of the game. The argument can be made about keys and maps and new parts etc. As someone who plays survivor mostly I don't think they should nerf either. I like Moris tbh. I rather die to a mori then die on a hook. Moris look cooler.

    When they are not destroying the gameplay by making a killer tunnel one player and subtracting one hook state and unabling them to ds in their defense and have another chase and try to play the game some more. As i previously said, mori should be a premium you receive when you have hooked a survivor at least 2 times and chased him for a little or something and gens have been done and stuff like that, nothing more then this. Like automatically unlocked for people downed in the endgame collapes so you don't have to hook trade anymore and stuff like that

  • @Erohnic said:

    Getting rid of pallets and windows would also require a GIANT nerf to the killer. They are literally the only way for a survivor to outplay a killer. Killer is faster, survivors leave a trail (scratch marks), the lunges are big and very easy to follow movements, and ~half the killers have ways to cover distances faster than they already move. I don't think there really is much of a problem with the pallets now. Survivors can still get hit WHILE vaulting, and with windows, if a survivor is standing directly on the other side, they still get hit.

    i have perfect ping, my connection with servers is perfect. Trust me when i say that there is less then half a second to hit a survivor vaulting a pallet. I never said anything about windows since they are already ok, thanks to the medium vault. This is why i wanted this mechanic to be added on pallets vaults or at least be slower cause pallets are way too much safe (long-long loop near pallet) when we are not talking about unsafe pallets (Short-short loop near pallet) Plus there are still tiles that are impossible to mind game and you only have to brute force them (Ex "fun bus") and you cant afford a brute force commitment chase in red rank, but this are ok to me, they are meant to be safe spots and nothing else. this is why i never bother chasing a survivor there.

  • @Milo said:

    Then how would the key work? (or that "Where did they go?" achievement)

    i always thought that keys are something that shouldn't be part of the game honestly. hatch is meant to be the last chance to escape in a bad game for at least one survivor and no more, when it becomes something more then it's overperforming. In terms of the achievement, the hatch could spawn in case of all gens done and 4 people still alive, so you can keep the chance to achieve that too

  • @Milo said:

    Every map (that is open) seems to follow the same-ish structure - 2-3 L and T walls, 2-3 jungle gyms and filler pallets.

    I wouldn't mind if there was a "x tile cannot spawn near x tile" but the maps aren't that big.

    i've had too many games in a row where the 2-3 jungle jyms were one near another, same as 2-3 TLs facing shack and stuff like that making it completely impossible to mind game it without proper perks and you cannot think to brute force or commit every chase in red rank... you need fast chases where you take at least one good pallet away from that chase ideally

    - Look down.

    - Moonwalk.

    - Strafe.

    These are all tactics to use when approaching a survivor that's using Spine Chill. Plus, it makes sense why it works vs Undetectable - the survivor has a higher sense of an ominous danger, they get goosebumps when they feel eyes on them. So, regardless of being Undetectable, they will still feel your eyes on them, because of that hightened sense. Wouldn't you agree, lore, and logic, wise it makes sense?

    It makes a lot of sense, you are right, but all this stuff with red glow mindgames and moonwalk and blablabla when they just have a thing that lights up when you are watching, really drives me crazy man...

  • Luckly, they kinda fixed it, where you can see them, but they can't see you even if they have the notification when you are watching. It's still something...

  • Hawkins is one of the worst surv map, i agree with that, but it's one against the tons of map against the killer the real problem here

    and btw... you wanna say that swamp map is ok?? i really think not mate... when i'm survivor there, i NEVER find pallets :\ i would have a look to swamp too if i'm honest... most of the times is 0 tiles in the middle and a few on sides plus big building and shack

    Basically, what happens rn if you DC is that your body falls dead on the ground, what I suggested is that instead of doing that, if you DC you have the Entity coming out of the ground sacrificing you like it does at the end of the EGC.

    Simple as that, it delays just a little bit the opening of the hatch giving the killer some time, that's it.

    It's something i never thought, sounds cool, but you really need more to stop a "hatch tech" player to get the hatch in those situations

    i really like your idea btw, i hope they will get it

    Personally I play both sides equally and I've learned to have fun playing the game no matter how toxic the killer or the survivors are. This game will never be balanced because it is a 4v1 game and you cannot perfectly balance this type of game. Ever. You should get used to that. Killers have annoying exploitable mechanics that they can use and so do the survivors; Maybe some of them will get fixed, maybe some of them removed, but they will always exist in the game in one form or another.

    Making the game easier for you doesn't mean everyone will feel the same way about it. I personally love a challenge as killer and welcome any SWF party because they are more difficult to play against and I feel like this will improve my gameplay alot more.

    Try getting better instead of trying to make the game easier for you.

    After all, this is a game and it is meant to be fun to play. If you don't have fun playing it maybe you should consider something else.

    PS: There alot of "viable" survivors complaining about unbalanced game mechanics; Some examples from the top of my head: Camping, Tunneling, Ebony Mori, Iri Head, Old nurse(they actually nerfed it) and so many more.

    I love challenges too, when i have a chance to win :)

    To be honest with you, I replied to 2 of this guys posts with on topic responses. I used this particular topic he started in order to discuss the off topic fact that he is a complete crybaby and he should express his rage some other way instead of spamming the forum.

    You are right I did not reply on topic and let me adress that now:

    I think survivors should be able to choose the maps they play on because they are also players in this game and also because map offerings are an RNG matter. For example if I am to pick a map offering as survivor and the killer picks one aswell, the map will be randomly selected from these 2.

    I also disagree completely with the narrow minded argument that survivors "already have TOO many advantages". They have some advantages for sure like their numbers but also some disadvantages like the apparently overlooked fact that they dont actually have a knife,chainsaw,sword,crowbar,shockstick or any other weapon to kill the killer.

    you are right, they clearly have no weapons such as pallets or torches or bodyblocking or all the second chances perks to hurt your gameplay, they are completely harmless in mouse onenning gens and cuddling eachother ^^

    Some survivors are completely obsessed by the killers attention, and if you don't give them some they will keep annoying you with flashlights and fast vaults and noises of all kind worst thing is that this people is not gonna be punished at all from pip system cause by "staying near the killer" they will get boldness, "being chased" they will get chase points and distraction points if people is on gens, and worst of all for me: Altruism category will raise if others do altruism actions even if they NEVER meet eachother... #########??? killers get punished for "people healing" are we serious??? plus they have no penalties in altruism, but if they go for unsafe unhooks and this is why i suggested to add more penalties for this to make things BALANCED for both

    Yeah and I am discussing his spamming posts that only state what he hates about the game and have no reasoning at all.

    i hate nothing of this game, i love everything of it and i think it has potential to be THE best horror survival game EVER, but they have to fix certain REAL CLEAR things that for some unknown reasons they don't fix... My biggest suggestion is: They are afraid to nerf too much the survivor side and make it frustrating for 4 people instead of just one, so they just nerf killers when necessary with no problems, but when it's up to survivor they spend AGES to get to the right spots...

    And if i put "no reasoning at all" as you say, it's because it's pretty clear why i'm saying this things. if for you is not clear, then you should play killer side in red ranks with no mori and noed.

    p.s. i play both sides rank 1

    Wow dude.. Thats a very good idea and a very complex explanation as well.

    I'd say they should remove pallets and windows from this game and just make it so that you can only run the killer around walls.

    No need for explanations, it would make infinite loops mindgamable, that's all. if you like to run killer near walls do it btw, i pref having good chases in which i have a chance to get to people in less then 3 minutes

  • @Kaiju said:

    Yeah. Let's make unsafe pallets more unsafe lol

    There are too many safe pallets to say something like that, most of them near to windows

  • @Bmj2 said:

    How about they make a completely open map just for people like you with no tiles at all and an option to play killer against AI survivors so that way you can stop crying on forums and have fun killing some bots and always win?

    I think thats a way better idea

    i would say the same for SWF players. Why don't we let them play with bots, so they can be as toxic as they want without being a problem for anyone? :)

    also, there are no viable survivors crying in forums because the game is unbalanced in their side, so everything they would say would be just a lie or lack of knowledge of the killer side.

    Since that i'm just here to bring good ideas to the game, you can leave if you have nothing more constractive to say

  • @PrettyFaceKate said:

    The killer can open the doors. There's no hostage situation, which was exactly the goal of EGC.

    Yes, and survivor can go trough doors and get out of the trial, we all know that, but thanks for your answer :)

  • @HexNooneEscapesDavid said:

    If the killer had Noed and was chasing a teammate, then opening the doors and triggering the endgame collapse would be stressing for the whole team. that just means they have a certain amount of time to get everyone out. When closing the hatch as killer, it triggers the endgame collapse, and if the survivor couldn't partly open a exit and leave, the killer would have time to patrol both exits, making the chances of escape for the survivor pretty much impossible.

    if the survivor team opened the exit and triggered the end game, it's their choice how they manage their time. also if you're having a hard time with survivors, the killer can also open the exit, forcing the endgame.

    Noed Procs on last gen, not with endgame collapse

    You ARE meant to have a certain amount of time to get out, otherwise where is the challenge in this game survivor side? Plus you have 3 minutes that doubles when someone is hooked or slugged, so the time is not a problem AT all since you can save and get out in less then 20 seconds.

    You can close the hatch only when it opens, and it opens only when theres just one survivor lasting, not before.

    Doors spawn is RNG it means they can spawn near eachother or in 2 far sides of the map, partially opening the door is not the real problem in this scenario, the RNG of this with no rules in it who avoid worst case scenarios is.

    If you are having a hard time with survivors you are not going to open the door then going back to the hooked person, you are forced to try and trade hook, otherwise it's a free unhook with no comebacks for the killer

  • @MiniPisa said:

    Can't the killer open a 99% door?

    Can't a survivor exist from an opened door? The answer for both questions is yes, and the killer can open the door JUST now with this new mechanich

  • @Lycidas said:

    The risk of it being exploited by the killer is really high.

    Probably simply adding an animation to people who DC could be enough to give the killer enough time to find the last survivor/go to the hatch.

    with "adding an animation" you mean one last thing you can still do to them in before they get trap door or?

    Unfair ? No as there is counterplay.

    => Mori are counterable by the gamecore

    => Noed can easily be counter by different way : stealth, loop , break totem.

    No fun : if we should remove all things that are unfun , you can remove :

    => Gens

    => Loop

    => Hardcore stealth player

    => Camping,

    => Tunnel

    => Use a killer

    => Use an item

    => Use an addons

    Toxic ? Since when use a perk or an offering mean you are toxic ? I mean it is like saying that because you use claudette you are toxic.

    How do you counter mori? i'm being sarcastic, there is no counter play to mori. Once you have been hooked the first time, you are gonna automatically be killer by killer when downed, no counterplay to that. It is clear that you don't play survivor side, because when you have a killer with mori is gonna 100% tunnel vision you and camp if necessary to insta mori you.

    Noed is unfair because it takes away one chance per survivor in chases without any "skill needed". You just M1 them and that's all. I'm not trying to defend survivors, i'm saying that noed is for noobs who have no skill :)

    Unfun things are parents to unfair things, always remember that when you wanna look for balances

    The addon to track blood is Ultra Rare, as it should be because it's powerful. The other Ultra Rare removes her ability to see scratch marks.

    She is also easily disoriented by scratch marks because you can run and walk to confuse her.

    She can't clearly hear your position, when phasing she can hear her own vacuum cleaner.

    And you can deny her fast movement during phasing by just vaulting.

    She cannot vault while phasing.

    If you are sucking against Spirit, you will suck against basically every killer who has high rank play. Because every single killer up there will demolish you if you refuse to learn and just scream for nerfs.

    "ultra rare" makes me laugh since i have tons of them "ultra rares" addons in my survs/killers webs xD Same as "EbOnY mOrI iS uLtRa rArE" and then every game i see ebony killers who spam mori bc of frustration given by SWF or "ultra rare" items and add-ons

    Not that easily disoriented since if you see scratchmarks and they just stop appearing it obviously means the one is walking near and read carefully NEAR so you just pop out and POOP you see him there walking like an idiot

    Vaulting what? If you are not ######### spirit you know this meme tech and you avoid it by going around the vault with your 300 m/s speed and you jsut get him on the other side
