Okay? Never said they can't do it. Not sure what point you were attempting to make here.

no the over all time is still 80 seconds, they just need to slightly adjust their internal numbers.
Oh man, don't get me started on gen pressure, back when i played OMEGA blink nurse it was so easy. i guess the survivors were just trash right?
I guess i can forget that there are more killers in this game outside of the only ones with some mobility and the queen of camping that needs to be deleted, Hag.
That is still wanting the times adjusted. Honestly I'll say I wish they brought back old ruin. Old ruin was a game changer and actually was (in my opinion) balanced and a challenge. As a survivor I'd either truck through it or get annoyed with how slow I am and go find it. Ruin used to screw over survivors every game.
And yes nurse was super op back then, but every killer is op if you play them right and understand the potential of their kit. Trapper for example has some awesome add-ons that turn him into a nightmare. 4ks all day if you play him right, understand map pressure and herd them into your traps. Its actually not hard. You may have to sacrifice a gen or two from getting done to set up but it's worth it if half the map is blocked off and you bring the add-on that automatically resets your traps.

If "Gen Rushing" Doesn't exist then neither does "Tunneling" and "Camping" sense technically defending gens is only a secondary objective and killing is the main objective and doing these is just "Kill Rushing".
Tunneling/Camping is the otherside of the coin as its killer's equivalent so if one exists then the other must as well.
Also before you say that Tunneling/Camping pervents the survivor from playing the game so does Gen Rushing for set up killers like Hag/Trapper/Demo or build up killers such as Michael/Plaue/Oni.
Never did I say they don't exist. They clearly do and tons of killers do camp and tunnel. "Gen rushing" was never an issue until killers wanted easy kills so they all started camping and tunneling. Survivors them did what they had to do to leave as fast as possible. With a killer not applying pressure, it was easy to do gens. But somehow now it's turned into a problem that survivors are doing to ruin games when no one talks about the reason why they do gens as fast as possible.
I personally don't instantly do all gens. I run prove thyself cause 1) I'm a dweet main and 2) cause I like doing totems and saves so making up gen time when I'm not doing those things helps out a lot.

I am not asking gens to take longer. They will still take 80 seconds each solo or less with toolboxes.
Do you read?
You want to change the time if more than one person is on the gen, therefore that is wanting to change how long it takes to do gens.
Do you read?

Yes it is. Whilst doing gens is indeed a survivors only objective, it's a world of difference when four survivors run commodius toolbox, BNP and an add-on for speeding up repair progression alongside Streetwise.
Now tell me three gens popping simultaneously in under 2 minutes is not gen rushing.
They already nerfed items like toolboxes. They're basically useless for gens unless you have brand new parts. If toolboxes are screwing you over that much then all I can say is get better? Don't let them sit on 3 gens for that long. Gens will get done, you can't stop that. But you need to apply pressure. If the killer you play just isn't working or the perks aren't doing it for you, change it up for a couple of games.

Just think about it, if the first survivor drops every pallet, she/he creates enough time to finish 3 gens. M1 killers can’t stop it, even high mobility killers can’t stop it. Maybe if u chase them off from the gens with Ruin, but totem spawn is terrible ruin usually is a 1-2 minute perk. So please don’t come up with this non-sense that the killer needs to stop it. If you would play killer you would exactly know its impossible.
I play killer (spirit, hag and legion) and I apply great map pressure and I get 4ks. If you stick on one survivor for 3 gens you are the problem. If a survivor runs you around for 3 gens without being downed (they already nerfed maps and pallet spawns), you are the problem, if you let gens fly by, you are the problem. Take accountability, learn from your mistakes, adapt and try new perks. Stop blaming every other aspect of the game.

Slow down perks shouldn't be mandatory to do well, these perks should help make it easier not be completely required on all but the strongest killers. People say "don't increase gen time it's boring to hold M1." But these same people are so gen hungry they let their teammates die trying to rush the game as quickly as possible.
Slow down perks aren't mandatory if you're good at map pressure. Its a skill you have to learn, stop wanting it to be given to you no matter what killer you play. And so what if they are mandatory, that's what the perk slots are for. Your objective is to stop people from escaping, stoping gen progression. So it's obviously important enough for a perk slot or two. Stop trying to make killer easy. You'll never get better if the game is handled in your favor.

It is perfectly fine that I can run depip squads with swf's and beat 90% of killers with ease within 5-8 minutes every match and killers have to run specific builds and play specific ways to stand a chance...
I swear gen rush defenders just need to play killer vs good swfs and realize this game isn't balanced
I do play killer but good job assuming wrong. Gen rushing has never been a problem for me because I play hag, spirit and legion. Killers who are good at map coverage and applying pressure. Sloppy butcher also helps slow down the game, especially with legions feral frenzy. If you're letting gens fly by, you are doing something wrong.
To complain about survivors doing their objective is just like survivors complaining about killers killing people. Its their objective. Killer entitlement is saying gens need to be harder and take longer but in honesty red rank killers tend not to have this issue.
-
@Kilmeran said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1560836#Comment_1560836
And that's a map design issue. It shouldn't require certain Perk builds or specific killers to accomplish with any type of consistency.
Uh...yes it should. If every killer could easily stop gen progression then why even play other killers? They'd all be the same. Its not supposed to be easy. It's easier for some killers but it's still a task. Just like repairing the generators is a task.
Do you play red rank games? If you do, you'd know 90% of red rank killers have no issue stopping gen progression and applying immediate pressure on survivors. People wanting gens to take even longer will flat out make gens impossible to do against any experienced killers. ESPECIALLY on small maps.
-
Gen rushing isn't a thing. That is a survivors only objective. Killers are supposed to stop that. Killers need some sort of pressure or else it'd be a cake walk. That's why there's perks and full on builds dedicated to stopping gen progression. If gen rushing is an issue for a killer than they need to run those perks and practice gen patrolling. Maybe pick a killer like legion who's good at stalling gens.

As I said I never said that DH was OP. I just said that in my opinion needs changes, you can see that because I also say that SB is stronger than DH and doesn't need changes. It also wasn't my post, someone else created the post about and HE THOUGHT that DH was OP. People gave me examples but most of them where just bad and I could just argue easily against them, and than no more better arguments came. And as I also said it was just my opinion about it. I said you cant always get close to them to bait DH, survivors can just use DH at a loop to get more time and loops of it and you cant counter it, you also can just use it for distance and you cant counter it. Other people just always gave the same arguments where I already showed that they are wrong. And I said toxic to people in this discussion a few times, not because I just cant take criticism. But because these ppl didn't even really read my post and didn't even understand what it was about. And instead they just gave comments with insults / toxicity, and were just trying to provocate instead of acting like everyone else in a discussion.
If you think I am not one of the best nurse's than that's totally fine it's your opinion, I just said that to tell how I consider my own nurse skills in that example. I don't even understand why you have to say this, because it just totally isn't what this discussion was about. It was totally not what I tried to say with this post, it was just an example.
People were asking me for some reason why I think I am one of the best nurse's out there, and so I just told them about how my matches go how much experience I have and so on. I would never said these things if those people would have understand what this post was about. Now I also changed the name of the discussion so people hopefully understand what I want to say with this.
If you watched the video you would've seen that the survivors weren't better. The game took 11 minutes, it took them 11 minutes and I did made mistakes yes, but they did even more and got carried really hard by those perks, mainly DH. I would've killed them in a long time but they just keep getting so many second lifes and so much longer chases because of these meta perks, and mostly not because they played better. These survivors in that game even agreed that I was playing way better and that they would've lost if they weren't using these perks. I'm not even complaining that I lost, and now I am gonna explain you what this post was about :D. I wasn't complaining that I lost, I was happy that I finally had a fun challenging game. What I want to say is just. If the only way to beat average survivors as a swf with meta perks is to play the strongest killer in the game with strong add-ons, gen regression perks, and a low amount of mistakes. Than that's not really balanced, just think of it like this: How is someone suppost to win against this while playing a weak killer like clown or trapper? How are you suppost to win on a bad killer map like red forst? how are you suppost to even have a slight chance to win if you are just not that good. These players were just average players and a average killer would still have no chance to beat them. This doesn't even affect me because I main nurse, this is just because I care of the state of the game and I care about the game experience of other players.
I never said that there are no better survivors than me, I also didn't blame it on swf. I blamed it on the meta perks because stacked up its extremely hard to beat them, these survivors won not because they played better, but because they played these perks. Otherwise I wouldn't hold this game for 11 minutes. And these survivors even agreed to it, these survivors that are running these perks.
You said 11x in this post that I am delusional, deluded, annoying, I cant take criticism. You are bringing things up like that I said DH was OP and so on even tho I just told you before that it isn't like that. You just kept missing the point of this discussion and are just acting childish. You were exactly like this in the post about DH. There is not even a need to keep arguing with you, I just think you should get banned from these forums, honestly from me to you. Have a nice day, I wont be arguing with you anymore no point at all, think what you want.
Lmao I should be banned? You don't listen to anyone, you back track like crazy and you are still so full of yourself when trying to say you're not. Obviously, perks or no perks, a survivor has to have skill to win. Killers too. If a survivor escapes, he clearly just has more skill. You can't accept that. Its the perks fault.
I'm here to tell you no, it's not. But you're so in your ways and childish that you think I should get banned cause I'm calling you out lmao. Even when you talk about the DH post. "None of them had good arguments, they were all weak. I disproved everything they said." No you didn't lmao. People stated valid and pretty damn good arguments and all you did was say they were wrong and that repeated yourself. You cannot see that you're just wrong. You were wrong in that post and you're wrong here. Experienced killers learn to play around meta perks. It's part of the game. It shows your skill level when even meta perks don't stop you from getting a 4k. Just because you play the hardest killer to play against doesn't actually mean you're that good at her. Shocker I know. That's probably why you lost. Because you can't adapt. You think your play style isn't the problem. That they're still bad survivors, but it's the perks. Sorry but I'm not letting you say that a perk carried a game. Watch killers like Monti or Tofu, they adapt. They play with skill and they work around the perks. You clearly can't do that. Sorry but that's the truth.
But please, go on, tell me I'm wrong, tell me I don't understand, etc etc. All you do in these posts is just repeat yourself to every single person and downplay their arguments as bad arguments but don't ever disprove anything.

https://youtu.be/K3m4Vf3E84M Edit: Sorry for no sound but I was in a discord call while this game was going, and I don't want you guys to listen to our conversations since it was really private.
With this post I don't want to complain to the devs about balancing issues or what so ever. I just want to hear a few opinions on this.
In my opinion its almost impossible to beat a 4 man swf if they all just run meta perks. This match I of course made mistakes, but the survivors did too. I mean I didn't do really many mistakes at all, and I also played way better than them. And I can also say the survivors wouldn't have won if they didn't all run these meta perks.
They had 4x DS, 3x DH, 1x SB, 4x BT. It was almost impossible to stop them because gens just go faster than I can down them. Even if I presure the gens really well and keep killing them. I just keep losing more and more time because of mainly DH, I also ate DS even tho I didn't tunnel.
If not even one of the best nurses in the game with omega blink can win against a 4 man swf with all running meta perks. Than that kind of speaks a lot of volume, and now imagine this with someone who doesn't play nurse, or just a killer that isn't that good, even someone who plays spirit wont win even if he plays better than them.
I already mentioned this is not suppost to be a cry baby killer post where I complain about balancing. But I just want to hear a few opinions on this, what do you think of it?
You literally cried about how deadhard was overpowered on another post. You are far from the best at any killer.

"ya'll" dun understeend that's a result of years of swf. You're lucky queues for some survivors are only pushing 10 minutes after crossplay instead of 3 times that.
Unfortunately I still get punished for the swf argument even though all these years I've never played with friends, only solo queue.

I'm not talking about telling someone "ur so bad go #########". Of course that's personal. I'm talking about stating that someone who goes down from healthy to dying is probably bad at the game. If you saw me playing football, you would immediately come to the conclusion that I suck at it. If you said it aloud, that wouldn't be an insult, it would be a fact. Same in the game.
As for "there is no reason to call someone bad", yeah there is. How about someone plays bad, after game you tell them they played badly, and offer a few friendly tips? I do that occasionally, and I received some friendly tips myself back when I was new.
Problem is, some people take even the slightest criticism so personally, that they're unable to make use of an advice. This kind of mindset is the biggest issue with the game: people who can't admit they made mistakes, and immediately jump to accuse the other side of playing unfair, start blaming the game, claiming that something is "broken" or "OP". Anything to avoid owning their mistakes.
This kind of oversensitive mindset is the reason why people keep crying for nerfs, buffs, changes and so on. Also the main reason for DC. The whole game would be a lot more chill environment, if players just admitted they're bad, kept their cool and continued playing. I'm not saying rub it in their faces after a game. But it's still a fact. And the best way to fix it is everyone taking a deep breath, calm down, and stop being so sensitive. It's just a game. No shame in being bad at it.
You're just wrong. Like I don't understand how you can't see it. Perfect example, I've been playing this game for years. I get 4ks on killer all the time and I escape all the time as survivor. The other day I got downed pretty quickly at the start cause I started, unluckily, next to a leatherface and was shown no mercy. By your terrible incorrect logic, I'm bad at the game and everyone has the right to tell me that.
No. I'm not bad and neither are many people who play this game. Sometimes things are just out of your control. You can offer tips, I do it to low ranks a lot. But I'm ######### nice about it and don't tell them they're bad at the game. That toxic communication will make them not want to play the game. I compliment them on things they're doing right. It doesn't inspire anyone to hear that they ######### suck. Like what if someone was already hsving a ######### day and the first thing they read after the match is how bad they are?
Learn how to talk to people and stop with that "eVeRyOnEs A sNoWfLaKe" #########. You're literally scrambling trying to defend calling people bad yet everyone else is sensitive? I'd rather be sensitive than have ######### people skills and be ignorant of others feelings.

Simply from my experiences in the game I rarely if ever get tunneled(Even by ebony mori users(Which I can run into 20 in a day because of my bad luck)) and get camped even less often(Survivors being dumb and swarming the hook/not letting the killer leave don't count for either since that's survivor caused).
Fine mister nitty gritty, it's my OPINION that MOST KILLERS TUNNEL AND CAMP.

Well, it is helpful for all killers in general.
Especially since you can pair it with resilience for a vault build while being chased.
True true. But spine chill is mega helpful against stealthies. I don't understand why killers think they should get all the counters for survivors perks but survivors can't have any counters to killers? Survivors don't get special abilities. If they did then killers would have perks to specifically counter them.

Bruh you sound do bad you probably can't play either role efficiently. Survivors have been nerfed nearly to the ground. If I'm in a game with a red ranked killer with all the OP add-ons and perks, which is every other game, no one survives or just one survives. Only against low rank low experienced low skill killers do little perks like deadhard actually screw over. If you would play for 4 years you would know that rank means NOTHING and you wouldn't try to say you are good by just being Rank 1.
Second you cant just bait a hit out, it is really situational and most of the time the survivor is just gonna use it for distance to get to a pallet or window. The killer has no counterplay to it and the survivor just gets a second chance by the press of one single button.
You cant use "iT dOeSn'T eVeN wOrK" as an argument. Usually if it doesn't work you are just doing it too late and you can counter that it doesn't work by just using DH early, and you will get exhausted on the ground less often. The devs said that they are gonna work on dedication with their servers and fix all the problem like getting hit away from 10 miles, and also fixing DH.
And you are kind of arguing against yourself at this point, even if they wouldn't fix it soon... doesn't that still mean if it works it would be even stronger? You cant say a perk is fine just because of bugs, these bugs have nothing to do with the potential of DH and still is only a bug.
Can you just bring one single good argument for once? You have just been talking bullshit this entire discussion, please stop denying that your 3 second chances per game for just pressing one single button should get taken away. :)
Okay don't be a dick. I don't know you and you don't know me so stop with the ######### attitude.
Deadhard is not overpowered. If you think it is, you're just bad as killer, PERIOD. You can always bait deadhard just by getting close to them before hitting. If you lunge and they deadhard, at first that's fine, you now know they have it and the perk is doing what it's SUPPOSED TO DO, but if it's constantly cucking you from hitting them, that's on you for not playing to bait it. And so what if they use it to get to a pallet. Since the devs listened to all the cry baby killers such as yourself and took away and broke many loops and added more deadzones to maps, you may need deadhard to get from one loop to another without risking getting hit in the middle of a deadzone.
And may I remind you that it also gives exhaustion. You can't use it again and again. If you're letting a survivor get it back by walking or standing, again, you're just bad at killer.
And by your nurse profile picture, I'm guessing you play her? JUST TELEPORT TO THEM AFTER THEY DEADHARD. Nurse players should be the last people complaining about deadhard. Their whole power is an easy counter to it. Stop trying to nerf survivors even more just cause you still suck.

Jesus, calm down man. That's the exactly what I'm talking about. Saying that someone is bad as the game is not saying he or she is a bad person, a loser or anything like that. So don't take it so personally. I guess it's more accurate to say "if someone goes down in 15 seconds, he's bad at the game or very unlucky". But it makes no difference.
Why do people take it as an offense when someone says they're playing bad? It has nothing to do with your personal qualities. Again, stop being too sensitive.
"Jesus calm down man"
"You're being so sensitive"
Oh you're not? Make it make sense. Also it is personal against someone by calling them bad. You are not in any position to judge someone. Who are you? That is what I'm talking about. Thinking you're better than someone so you can call them bad. There's literally no reason to be calling someone bad other than to be a dick, which you probably like to do by the sound of it. You're contributing to this toxic elitest mindset so many scummy people have in this community. If you don't see how you're the problem, you're too far gone.

There is nothing toxic about it. If someone goes down within 20-30 seconds it IS because they are bad at the game. There is no moral judgement here, it doesn't mean they're bad people. Just stating a fact. Don't be so sensitive.
Get over yourself. This superiority complex is what's wrong with the game. Y'all think if someone makes a common mistake then they're bad. Who are you to judge someone you've only just met? I've been screwed over many times in the beginning of the game. I've been glitched in place, I've been sandbaged, I've been screwed by haunted grounds while I was in a chase. I still survive each match and get max bloodpoints but I guess I'm bad too cause I happen to go down early due to just bad luck.

Cause it completely overrides any mistakes the survivor makes.
The killer wins the mindame, and the survivor just yolo out with dead hard. Just another second chance perk.
It doesn't even work half the time and it's on cooldown. Sorry you have to run 5 more seconds to catch up to the survivor.

Good survivors mostly use it to extend loops and erase their mistakes.
It is broken.
How is that broken?

I was just thinking this today. Survivors deserve to earn as much bloodpoints as killers can.

For me it has to be Claudette's Shrub Scholar & Elegant Flower sets because they all feel like they could work well for the most part when mixed together.

- Glorious Black Waves from Morning Glory
- Wild Violet Jacket from Wild Indigo
- Blackberry Skirt from Pineberry
(yes I know Blendette but black goes with everything and I was tired on deciding between a very dark navy blue or black)

also Shirtless David.
My Claudette looks like that too, except I use the purple version of that hair cause it fits so perfectly.

Or have I just missed the info about it somewhere? I’m console so don’t have access to ptb.
No new maps, they're just updating the graphics heavily on old ones.

So long as you remember that cuts both ways, were good. Survivors aren't entitled to escape and killers aren't entitled to a kill. They each have to work for it.
Oh I know. Years of dealing with toxicity for no reason when I only try to play fair, now I only play for me. If it helps me survive, I'll do it, regardless if killers like it or not. I mean that's what I get all the time with tunneling and camping so it's only fair.
-
Honestly I'd love to see a rework of the perk. Maybe if a survivor disturbs 25/20/15 crows, a swarm of crows surrounds the survivor, letting off loud cawing noises and flies all around them for 10/11/12 seconds. Can happen once every 60 seconds per survivor.

this a hard counter to stalking as a mechanic im fine with it as an anti stealth perk but to counter the killer's entire power is way over board
Then you'll have to just m1 them. You have 3 other survivors to use your power on. Through out my games usually I'll see 1 or two people with it on every other game. Its not a big enough problem to change it to give killers an easy stalk.
-
Spine chills literal purpose is to let you know when the killer is facing your direction. Stop trying to take things away from survivors cause you can't counter a simple perk.

Its going to be so much fun as well... im going to have a few 4 man escapes happen but there's reward for going through the rough times :)
Agreed. I'm mostly a survivor main but I like to challenge myself with killers. Getting 4ks on spirit is a good feeling since I play killer casually. The Blight seems like it'll be a fun challenge. Plus I love all the Blight skins on killers (hag being my fav) so can't wait to see his epic cosmetics.

"A lion does not concern himself with the opinion of sheep"
Funny, that's what I say when I bully killers. My job is to survive, not be a kill some think they're entitled to just cause they pick killer.

I will exhaust all my energy into mastering him when he goes live.. i will pinball every last one of you casuals... im stoked for this chapter!
Honestly I've always thought about a crazy deformed killer who bounces off walls, sort of like a hockey aesthetic from Left 4 dead. Its going to be terrifying on Lérys.
-
I had that happen in one of my games today. Not to me but to someone else. Green Mori, insta tunnel.
Did some toxic YouTuber tell every killer main to do this? Like #########

It shouldn't be, when someone goes down in 10s is because he's bad, every game I see mistakes from my team, camping pallets slow vaulting windows, etc. The only thing I can agree with is dh, is bugged since 3.2.0 if I'm right and is a game problem when u go down exhausted even tho u used something that should protect u
Wow you're toxic. Imagine thinking someone is bad at the game for going down quickly. Mistakes happen. Some people get thrown off. Doesn't mean they're bad. We all get those days. Stop with the superiority complex dude.

Definitely I think it's a terrible idea.
Console players (the majority) are underage people insult without knowing consequences.
That's an assumption that's just wrong. Everyone I play with who I can tell is over age.

Well to your statement "DS affects killers who tunnel". I know this falls under "whataboutism" but what is when the DS survivor bodyblock intentionally for another, does a gen in the killers face or does an unsafe unhook and, since killer should not tunnel the unhooked, goes for the guy with still active ds?
The survivor have already learned how to not use DS as protection but also as a weapon.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1548080#Comment_1548080
And by now it's by God no chain reaction anymore but a circle or a loop. Both sides use whatever build, perks or playstyle giving the argument that the other side could run something like this too.
I personally play deliberately without tunnel, camp or Mori, just using BBQ for bp grinding and still I get groups with 12 of 16 perks being meta (second chance or "crutches"), in low to middle ranks, not red or purple (I just play this game occasionally).
I don't take care to avoid DS and just eat it when it comes (most of the times THE best counter since it is gone afterwards).
And about the topic at hand, I think that the change the devs made was correct. If cobe/Deliverance at this niche point would still be possible, it would just lead to most killers face camping until second stage and instant down you again. Then go to find hatch or camp the survivor for the unbreakable/soul guard. It makes no sense to prolong the nearly inevitable except for more bp.
I see your point. I just don't see people not using DS or unbreakable because of how the majority of killers play. I literally just had a trial where I chose to not run those perks and the killer camped my hook (4 gens left) and when I was taken off he slugged me, hit my team mate, and then insta hooked me. Players like that make me want to run those perks. I got 5000 bloodpoints cause my team was unable to get me. Killer and I were red ranks, the rest of my team was purple and green. Sometimes you need to rely on crutch perks cause solo queue is a ######### and no one will help you but yourself.

*gasp* how dare you not say gg to the killer when he t baged you! Your just an entitled survivor main who likes to bully and abuse killers. (Jk)
No joke he called me an entitled survivor and said it was my fault for getting downed in the first place when he slugged us all.
