Basically a worse quick and quiet
whenever you vault a window you have this duration and during that duration the next window you vault will make your vaults silent and the duration resets and if you don’t vault a window or object during the reset timer…the perk goes on cooldown
Then it sounds like it desperately needs buff, and OP's idea seems fine. Thanks for noticing.
-
What does that perk do?
Never heard of it.
-
Honestly I am surprised they didn't give Freddy treatment to his add-on, which is good.
-
Ruin does not count for that anti 3 gen because it does not make gen progression lose 2.5% instantly. Perks like Surge, Eruption, and Pain Res are counted.
-

Why would they nerf background player? Is it because survivors aren't allowed any useful haste perks? Are killers only allowed to have useful haste perks on top of their 4.4, 4.6 speed and bloodlust? Flashlight saves just became dangerous thanks to Shadowborn haste.
I play both killer and survivor but sweet christmas the bias because the favoritism for one side. The only concern this patch outside of Sadako's possible ability to mori quicker depending on tv and gen placement is the gen regression limitation ruining killer perks and builds. Survivor perks were already gutted now they're gutting killer perks.
I do not think survivor running to killer for flashlight/pallet save with the speed of Blight is balanced.
-
Who is facecamping Jeff? I am not sure who is that.
-
Uhh, I think they changed the wrong part of Ruin...
And Blight add-on and STBFL change is not bad than I expected?
-
Second chance perks are literally the perks that give survivors second chance, like DS and UB. I think DH can be considered to be second chance perk.
I think I am having some kind of Deja Vu right now.
-
Sir, it is anti facecamping in first place. It was meant to stop facecamping, not proxy camping.
-
What is your build?
-
I think it is nice change. Pretty good.
-
If you did not submit in-game report, there is nothing you can't do, unfortunately. I also faced cheater and forgot to submit it a few days ago.
I don't think you will be in trouble if you didn't cheat at all.

No, no gen slowdown perks for this build. It’s okay though because the mmr usually takes care of that for me.
What do you recommend instead of lightborn? I want an M1 build that makes chases go faster.
Faster chase? Then maybe Spirit Fury can be not a bad choice, especially considering you are running Enduring.
-
No gen slowdown perks at all? That is somewhat concerning.
And I think you don't need to equip Lightborn if there are no or less survivors holding Flashlights.

Survivors are at a greater disadvantage the longer the match goes on/people start dying. Dont exactly have the time to go around looking for totems. What advantage do survivors get by knowing the killer has terminus???
Terminus will not make survivors broken if they are in full health state. And knowing the existence of NOED itself is great information. It will make them play safely.

Sorry maybe I wasn't specific enough for you. There are no good perks to help you escape a GOOD killer. And don't you dare say sprint burst. You're sounding like you rarely play survivors but Wana act like a expert.
LoL
I play Solo survivor more than killers.

Think I get what you mean with 2nd part. In that case name a single killer perk that would give survivors a advantage by knowing the killer has it
NOED, Terminus, etc.
-
Prestige =/= skill level. I have seen many bad p100 survivors.
Good survivor perks: Deja Vu, Kindred, We'll make it, Resilience, Prove Thyself, Sprint Burst, Adrenaline, Lithe, DH, WoO, Deliverance, Distortion, Off the Record, Hyperfocus( & Stake Out), Reassurance, etc. There are stil many other perks that have good usages.
-
Survivors are not weak. There are many good survivor perks.
And being able to tell killers' perks to your teammates before the match ends is the unfair advantage that SWF would only have, what are you talking?
If Hillbilly with no perk killed all the survivors, I can't imagine how bad that survivors were.

I am feeling like BHVR is gonna gut this map like how they did to Borgo aka Big Dead Zone.
Red Forest is also terrible after rework, gens are spawning so close to each other.
I don't know who asked rework for this map when people are begging reworks for Saloon, Springwood and Garden of Joy.
https://twitter.com/DeadbyDaylight/status/1742923921379491884
Well, I don't expect much from this if it is real Ormond rework. And wasn't it Swamp map that was in rework priority?

The issue is that anti-camp and anti-tunnel measures have to meet the demands of forum killers.
Which means they can't interfere with camping or tunnelling.
Please stop another ridiculous us vs them post. It seems like community does not get better in this part even when the new year comes.

Freddy has the same lunge as everyone else...
Yeah I think all the Freddy he faced had bad ping or he felt like that because of his long claw.
-
-
I agree. Furthermore, survivors should be able to share their items, add-ons and offerings. And also killers should be able to share their offerings.
-
What are you talking? I can't understand. I found nothing wrong with Coup.
-
Lol it is just a few matches. And it doesn't require very difficult or time consuming things.

When you know how to play killer you can break the game with anything.
There is numerous people getting huge winstreaks with any killer. The game is very unbalanced.
Then what about you show us you achieving the win streaks with any killers.

Survivor basekit:
- Take an extra hit after an unhook (Fair, but if the unhooked person tries to bodyblock im going to tunnel his ass)
- Unhook yourself after proxy camp (Fair)
- Basekit Unbreakable was discussed
Killer basekit:
- You get to see more?
Comparing Shadowborn to literal game advantages (some deserved, some not) is unjust.
AFC will not give you free unhook when killer is proxy camping. That is designed to let survivor to unhook themselves when the killer is facecamping.
And basekit UB didn't go live and will never come back(hopefully). I will not count that.
-
I am not a fan of making something basekit, and Corrupt is one of them. I think the perk that can be basekit can be the perks like Shattered Hope and Deerstalker.
And you forgot FOV slider(shadowborn). And partial brutal strength and stbfl basekit from 6.1.0

Improving tutorials is something we're always interested in, and any suggestions you may have are more than welcome. You're right that it's not a small game anymore, there's a lot more to learn nowadays if you're just picking up the game. Though one thing we do need to be careful about is overwhelming someone who's playing for the first time. Everyone's got their limit, you can only soak up so much information at once before stuff starts going in one ear and out the other. We really try to focus on the fundamentals (what is your objective, what kind of things you can find around the map to help you, etc.) because they are guaranteed to come in handy no matter what your first match is.
When it comes to specific Killers, though, then things get a bit more complicated. There's 34 Killer so far, so if each one had even a 2 minute tutorial, you'd be sitting through a lot of guides before you can start playing. That's a lot to take in, and I'm not sure how many people would be willing to sit through all that. We do have loading screen tips that appear the first few times you play against any Killer. These briefly explain how the Killer's power works and what you should do or not do. I'm personally a big fan of these. They make sure whatever you need to know is fresh in your mind, and the fact that they appear while you're loading means you don't have to go out of your way to find them.
That is very fair point. Never thought about that. I just believe the Solo Q experience will be much better if people more aware about the features. Being better at games will bring up good results for everyone IMO, since being better would make them to feel more fun to game as they will now understand the game and know what to do, not feeling helpless, while other survivors will feel better since their teammates are not wasting time by not doing anything. And I think raising the standard of survivor will make balancing killers more easier.
-
Didn't devs confirm upcoming chapter will be science-related? Though I am not sure whether all the chapters this year will be science-themed.
Whatever I hope them to show good horror aspects in upcoming DLCs.

The shrine is randomly generated automatically, aside from when a perk is required for a current Tome challenge. The robot in charge of it is unaware of any future changes that may come.
STBFL is planned to have an update in the near future, but no details have been revealed on that just yet.
I know but even PWYF coming up together felt bit awkward so yeah
Whatever thank you for clarifying again

Killer is easier right now. You need to do 4K , it's very easy to do.
With certain 3 perks. Considering that perks affect killer more than to the survivors, and there are many cases that there own perks do not fit the killer well, I think Survivor adepts are more easier. In my experience, survivor adepts were a lot easier than killer's.

Thank you. I apologize, I'm new to this and learning my way around!
No need for apologies. Welcome anyway!
-
There is "Looking for Friends" section in this forum so you can ask for people to play with in there.
-
I think the sample is bit small. So I think the match numbers against each killers can be more extended.
-
I heard BP bonus incentives depend on players' MMR.
-
Is there 2024 already?
Whatever Happy New Year!

Some of what you mentioned is intuitive: like don’t do vulnerable actions in front of the killer (rescue or heal). I feel anyone who has ever played a video game that has an opposing force should know that. But yes the tutorial could use updating.
Yeah but it seems like sometimes there are people who even don't know that kind of things.

In theory, the game will by default send you to the nearest server to you. Though with how flexible their geofencing is and how loose their definition of "local" is, this can mean sending you to a server pretty far away if they need to fill a lobby. The game's been known to throw me to a server in another country across an ocean, with nothing tripping the game's lag meter until the trial starts. Then it's a slideshow.
The best thing to do is get a VPN and set your location as where you want to "be". Bear in mind the further you go from where you actually are the higher your ping usually is, making you laggy. The infrastructure of the area you're connecting to (and between you and there) also comes into play. First world area to first world area with low physical distance between the two will typically get you the best connection. Third world area to third world area with a lot of nothing in between and over longer distance will usually tank your connection.
The last updated info I have for the physical server locations are below. That's from 2019, though. Haven't heard if any were added or taken down.
US East (Ohio)
US West (Northern California)
South America (São Paulo)
Europe (London)
Europe (Frankfurt)
Asia Pacific (Singapore)
Asia Pacific (Seoul)
Asia Pacific (Tokyo)
Australia (Sydney)
Oh thank you! Then I guess I am playing in Singapore server.

It is astonishing that there are still people who think old MFT was fine. Your teammates being bad cannot justify the existence of obviously broken perk.
I know Soloq can be bad, but it is obvious that you cannot expect to escape while overall standard of survivors of team is bad. I am Solo-survivor player and still fine with my own experience.
If you really suffer from your teamates, take a break or try builds like Sole survivor/Wake Up build to rise MMR.
You can just turn off game chat.
-
Happy New Years!
And I think BHVR can give codes for 2024k BP and 2024 iri shards celebrating 2024.
-
I always wondered why 4.5m/s doesn't exist.
Maybe 112.5% calls some kinds of problems for coding due to be decimal number percentage?
-
This looks very cool and interesting, which means devs will not likely to look at this, unfortunately.
-
Agreed, they must bring back old map atmospheres anyhow.
Though I didnt play with old maps, they look much better to me than current ones. Rich fog and gloomy sky suits very well with the original theme of this game. The game is losing the aspect of horror, so I think Bhvr should try to roll the theme back
-
Coh obiviously. I am even disppointed if the boon is not Coh but others.
-
But there would be people who definitely don't care about BP anymore, so not sure that would work. The way to remove tunneling from game entirely would be the thing that affects the game's flow.
However, what I am concerned about this anti-tunneling stuff is that it can remove the variants of the game. The removal of variants would lead to simplification of the game, abd the game would be boring IMO. Considering that the reason why people complain about tunneling is because it might make game unfun, I think putting that kind of mechanic is very bad idea since the concept of removing tunneling can fade away.
-
Some hex perks can be useful like blood favor, devour and plaything, but yeah, most of them are garbages especially due to its unstability. They need huge buffs.
-
First, it is ANTI FACECAMP, not anti camp. Proxy camp is valid strategy.
Terror Radius being the trigger condition of this is absolutely bad idea, because not only each killers have different terror radius but also the existence of Undectable status and Distressing perk. Regading this, terror radius based mechanic would be too inconsistent.
Plus, I dont find reason why anti facecamp mechanic should be still activated after exit gate being powered.
