Nothing is -ever- enough. Apparently it just isn't easy enough to 4K all the time. It's actually sad seeing perks constantly nerfed to oblivion.
Isn't it ironic a broken perk like UW is not being nerfed? Killers own this game.
Hex: Ruin, Hex: Undying, Old Mory offerings, DMS, Eruption, CoB, OC, Pop, Pain resonance, Thanatophobia, Spirit addons, Nurse addons, Xenomorph tail attack, Old Hillbilly, Freddy, legion and slinger ... They were all nerfed a lot. You still say killers own this game? I don't think so.
-
No, Xeno doesn't need nerf at all. I think you need to study about proper place to put the turret.

Yeah I wouldn't mind that so I can finally have hospital offerings on Myers
Is that "hospital" map Lery's?

Ok, maybe I was being so haste. Since I like to play as various survivors, I change them many times. So when I ran out the item or addon, I really hope I can use it from other survivors' loadouts. For instance, I used all my stypic agent for my Jake, but I have plenty of them in my Ace's loadout, but I still want to play as Jake. That's why I suggest this idea.

Thats correct. But his footsteps are why it works lol. Its terrifying rolling up on a gen thats being worked on and the survivors barely hear the steps through the gen... and then its too late, as you've gained the ground a terror radius wouldn't have given you.
Trust me, its worth a try. Play 3 games with it and let me know!
I will try. But first, I need to prestige the Knight...

Hex: Plaything, Hex: Face the Darkness, Lethal Pursuer, Flex perk (I use Trail of Torment
Does Hex: Plaything work? I thought undetectable or oblivious don't work for him well because he's so tall and he's footstep sound is quite loud.

About that terror radius thingy. It persists the first few seconds the killer enters. So survivors usually know when the killer enters it. Unless the killer wants to stay for a while there, its pointless.
The 150k BP were from a different offering. Since the current event offerings sadly don´t stack.
But tbh, whats annoying is how the serums work differently for both sides. Survivor serum can be used after the event ended, killer serum is only usable during the event.
Wait you can't use serum for the killers after the event?

WoO is very strong perk, but doesn't deserve nerf at all. It is like killers' STBFL and Sloppy Butcher.

apparently it's the biggest reason for awful matchmaking, which is obvious in my matches personally.
Does it happen that lot? When I first came here, I was very surprised that there are many discussions about lobby dodging and removing prestiges. Personally, if the reason why people dodge lobby is "It seems like it would be hard match", I think reworking MMR and matchmaking system so make sure they are having matches with people with similar level with themselves would be the best solution.

Tinkerer only usable 5 times per match, which I cant control because its up for survivors to nearly complete a Gen, I could mid chase/going for hook at that time. Its also make me feel "note: a Gen is nearly done" while I cant do anything about it.

This is match 20, with my own subtitles for you to know what I was thinking in the match (there are alot of English mistakes)
I appreciate a lot! I hope your experiment goes on well.
-
I don't know about that, but maybe you can report that to this forum's bug report section if you think that is a bug.
-
The Xenomorph is not a bad killer, but he has limits to deal with the people like you faced. If you want to win against them, you need to be god tier xeno or practice the nurse or the blight. It is impossible to win them as a killer who is not S or A tier killer. Well, even good nurses or blights can't secure 4k against strong 4-men swf if they don't hard-tunnel.

i mean, survivors don't have a chance to switch out of their healing builds after they see they are about to face a plague, right? that's another topic whether killers seeing survivors while survivors not doing so is fair or not but that luxury would be worth the sacrifice imo. full flashlight/toolbox lobbies, entire lobby with cosmetics, someone with legacy, names/game hours they can all cause lobby dodging.
Not sure why lobbies with full cosmetics can be the reason for the lobby dodgings, but I understand what you are talking about. I think it is the difference of the sentiment. Lobby dodging was never an issue in my country.
-
The experiment seems interesting. Would you mind record some matches and show us how it went on? I am curious how you and the survivors played.
-
I always welcome minor perk buff suggestion and this looks cool, but I think that the combo with exhaustion perks like SB, Lithe, Balanced Landing can be too much.
-
I am afraid that devs wouldn't be able to deal with VPN issue. Is there way to prohibit it?

i'd love if pre-game lobbies are removed as a whole. i can't think of any purpose they serve other than enabling dodging teammates/opposing survivors.
I would disagree to the idea of removing pre-game lobbies, because I think killers should be able to see what items are survivors holding. Killers should have chance to think whether they should bring lightborn/Franklin's demise or not.
-
Personally I would like to see my own escape/kill rate.

If we are talking about the meme addon, then I would be fine with it not nerfing him quite so hard but apart from that, which of Blight's addons need buffs? Half of them are problematic because they make him way too strong. The addons themselves wouldn't all be quite so overpowered, if Blight's base kit wasn't this strong. But a killer that is on the very edge of being broken can't have addons this powerful on top.
Maybe Soul Chemical...?

I don't like answering questions with a question, but what purpose does having it serve?
Other than opening the door for harassment, I see no good in allowing people access to your profile.
Maybe because you don't want to play with the users who have VAC ban record...? And if I remember correct, making your profile private would help you dealing with trash comments.

@altruistic said:
They removed ranks because they said it was unhealthy for the game, and then added prestige into the lobby.
Hopefully seeing prestige and having access to Steam profiles gets removed entirely. There is absolutely zero reason either should be in the pre game.
Is there reason to remove accessibility to the profiles?
-
That sounds great. I think that can be applied to resurgence too.

Against SWF yeah, decent against soloQ.
He is definetly more fun to play tho.
You are right, he is good against solos, but the problem is he is EXTREMELY weak against SWFs. They can share information about the trap placements and disable those easily.

Is WoO new nerf target?

Overcharge still has its place in certain builds.
Call of Brine is bad but in its current state it can’t be buffed because the gen kicking meta is the last thing we need to come back. If they want to make CoB better, the regression effect needs to be removed and replaced with something else. And no more new perks increasing gen-kick regression speed going forward.
Well, I personally want them to reverted since I hope killers to have more viable options to giver pressures to gens, since there are only pain resonance, pop, and jolt looking at the recent data that BHVR offered. But you are not wrong, 3 gen kick meta shouldn't be re introduced at all.

Increase the base Gen Regression from .25 to .35 or .45 (I would say to .50 but that may be too much)
Increase the Gen times to 100 charges... but give checkpoints at 25%, 50%, 75% so that the Gen can't regress past that (without Pop I guess)
And take the Information part of COB and put it on Surveillance
OC can stay the same... or add in what @Caiman suggested
I think that's good idea! Thank you for your suggestion.

Well, he is still very weak killer though.

I know you want someone else to answer this for you but here it is
Normal Gen regression is .25 charges per second... 150% of that would be .375 charges per second
So instead of taking 4 seconds to take away 1 charge it'll take 3 seconds to take away 1 charge
Thank you for your answer! I appreciate that.

They enabled the degenerate 3 gen kick meta. They had to be nerfed hard. Any buff would just bring that meta back and that's one of the last things this game needs.
You are right. But then do you think they should be left as current state? I think they are in very poor state...

I am pretty sure that I saw a Bubble from a Survivor who had Calm Spirit. But I dont run into Calm Spirit often, so I am not 100% sure.
I will test it this evening with a friend in a custom game.
Calm spirit must remove the bubble. If it doesn't, what would be the point of running it...

You get a Debuff when searching Chests or cleansing Totems, but you are silent while doing so. This is considered a Nerf and IMO rightfully so. I think Side Objectives should not be slowed down, it is also even bad for the Killer, if Survivors dont cleanse Totems or open Chests due to a Debuff, they will spend more time on a Gen.
IMO this can be fixed if they would just only apply this Part if in the Killers Terror Radius. You dont need to be silent anyway when the Killer is full map away, it would make sense that the Survivor is more careful (so slower, but silent) when the Killer is nearby, so only applying the Speed Penalty and silent-effect while in the Terror Radius is the way to go. (Also a neat little Buff for Stealth-Killers)
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3575831#Comment_3575831
The funny thing is that the Killer still gets the Notification-Bubble if the Survivor has Calm Spirit. So they might not scream, but the Killer will still see them, especially when they are already looking in the direction of the Survivor.
Correct me if I am wrong. Calm spirit removes that notification-bubble. Maybe that would be bug or something.

I think OC should get the 1% on failure back, and toss the extra regression aspect away. CoB can be fully reverted to the release 200%. Alternatively both could be 150% regression but they don't stack with one another. The main issue I think was the lack of earning the regression, as they were happy to buff Pop and PR to arguable better positions than where they were pre-6.1. If excessive 3-gen aspects happen, then the regression aspects could be limited to only work on the most recent gen kicked. I think the intel aspect of CoB is underutilized and largely forgotten about, so that could stay in.
The main reason I think OC should keep the skillcheck, is that it is a Doctor perk. Skillcheck Doctor, as memey as it may be, is always a dumb fun build.
I am sorry but since English is not my mother-tongue language, so I have some confusion and I think I need to make sure something. You said "I think OC should get the 1% on failure back, and toss the extra regression aspect away." Does this mean that you think OC now shouldn't regress gens faster anymore, and just grants direct 1% regression to the gen if survivor failed the skill check?
-
It doesn't mean that survivors should get buff all the patches but I would like to see potential energy buff and removing penalty from calm spirit. Maybe let fogwise reveal killer's aura when you are healing yourself or somebody else might be not bad, because I see too much fearmonger these days.
-
@Caiman said:
I think both perks should have their regression speeds increased to 150%. And Call of Brine's other effect should apply to Great skillchecks too.
I think I'd prefer if Overcharge's skillcheck was a regular skillcheck, but the arrow moved faster, like Coulrophobia's effect. Perhaps the arrow gets faster over time along with the regression rate? So it's normal if you tap the gen immediately but if OC is allowed to ramp up, the skillcheck gets harder and harder.
How fast is 150% gen regression is comparing to normal gen kick regression without any perks? @Caiman
-
People shouldn't dc or suicide just because they faced the killers they don't like, so I think devs should do something about this. The unfortunate thing is that the game system cannot distinguish that kind of the people and the people who need to leave game because of the emergency.

If it was only your own MMR that you could see, that'd be pretty neat.
Agree, I just want to know what level I am.

Not sure why some people think STBFL is unhealthy. I think it is totally fine perk that is the savior for M1 killers.
-
I think that nerf would be too much. The blight nerf should be focused on his addons like adren vial and alch ring.
-
It became quite situational, but I think the combo with OTR, DH, or Stypic Agent would be good. Currently, we can't talk more about it, and we need to wait for the PTB to open.
