They also did Legion and next is Freddy.
Right. Sort of. They really just adjusted his add-ons though. Nothing like Wraith's pass.
-
If you're looking for an actual job, go to Behaviour's website my dude. There's probably job openings there.
If you're volunteering idk ask @Peanits
-
Honestly, if they changed his charging movement speed from 3.5m/s to 3.8m/s, and made his chainsaw charge in the same way that Billy's charges, that'd be good for now.
At least until they can fully rework him.
-
@Peanits Okay. I...thought so. Just making sure.
So, do two of the same add-ons stack additively? I've always heard they're multiplicative, and it matters what order you put them in.
-
This is a perk I really want to see reworked because of how uselessly niche it is.
-
Oops. My comment didn't actually mention @Peanits the first time. Neat.
-
@Peanits can you close this post? I'll admit, I'm definitely in the wrong here. I don't see a reason for more people to comment on it.
-
Oh? You wanna see PWYF reworks? I've got plenty.
My first time throwing out a rework:
Current PWYF: You become obsessed with one Survivor.Second time, changed the idea a little bit:
Current PWYF: You become obsessed with one Survivor. My third time. Arguably the worst of the bunch:
Current Play With Your Food: You become obsessed with one Survivor. My fourth and latest attempt at a rework:
Current Play With Your Food - You become obsessed with one Survivor. -
Well then. It seems I was mistaken? I could've sworn Overcharge was smaller before 2.6.0.
-
@Peanits Ah, very neat. I knew somewhat that cosmetics had to be individually textured, hence there being no bloody versions of shop cosmetics, but that is very interesting.
This might be something I'd like to see on stream sometime. I remember the last type of thing that we got like this was that time in October 2017 where that modeler went on stream and walked through how she made Nurse's pumpkin head.
-
Big money babeyy!!!
-
@tomikomPL well, I've been playing since august 2017, and I can tell you for 100% certain that it's always been that way.
-
Like, forever, man.

It just occurred to me that attempted murder is not in the forum rules.

@steezo_de in that clip (summer 2018), overcharge still had bigger skillcheck zones at lower tiers of the perk. That looks like Overcharge II.
-
@Mat_Sella I didn't change my argument, just stating that in the same update, it just so happened that all of the tiers' skillcheck sizes were made the same.
-
@Exerlin it was definitely smaller before.
-
@Peanits I'm 100% certain it's without unnerving. From Killer and Survivor sides I've experienced overcharge since 2.6.0, and it's definitely bigger.
It'll take me a little bit to find pre-2.6.0 clips.
-
@KillermainBTWm8 @Spirez @Kiskashi @legion_main @PolarBear @Visionmaker @SnakeSound222
The new overcharge is about 50% bigger. I'll get screenshots soon-ish.
-
@Raccoon it never worked against flashlights or fireworks. That's what Lightborn is for.
-
In the long run, it's good.
On top of making the spirit fury combo 0.15 seconds better, they can finally review every stun in the game and reduce most of them probably.
-
@DarkWolf2000 Legion's power at base is flawed and unfair. You get free first hits and can easily tunnel, which most Legion players seem to do.
Having fast movement speed, wallhacks, and a bleed-out bar isn't fun or fair.
The only thing they did to Legion in the last update was remove his exploits, and change the rest of his kit accordingly.
@Orion you think because someone doesn't like the playstyle of a certain character that they should be banned?
-
@T0xicTyler You'd have P3 Level 50 max perks every killer and every survivor?
Either way, perk tiers are a cop-out way to increase content.
-
@thrawn3054 Yes, I understand that, but if people can pay to access everything in the game, what's the point of playing then?
-
Absolutely not. Money doesn't represent skill. Buying bloodpoints would make DBD pay to win.
-
@T0xicTyler I've been playing for 2 years, with 1,300 hours, and I've only recently maxed out my second killer. I'm close to maxing out my first survivor.
The grind just keeps the game unreasonably inaccessible to new players.
-
The part where they talked about it is somewhere in the first 20ish minutes...I might be able to find it.
-
@Ihatelife Yes, it reduces the stun by 50%. This is the same as increasing recovery by 100%. So technically, it's a buff.
- Pre buff Enduring stun - 1.14 seconds
- Post buff enduring stun - 1.0 seconds
-
Thank you @Peanits, very cool!
-
@Blueberry Okay, given your same logic, why did players deserve legacy after they reworked the bloodweb? They were just "playing the game".
This is just like legacy. They are completely reworking Freddy. He is going to be completely different.
-
2PM est.
In just about 50 minutes.
-
@Blueberry really? Putting millions of bloodpoints into Freddy, playing him for hundreds of hours, and learning him so well that I can 4k more reliably with him than with most other killers?
I think that's deserving of something. I'm only using legacy as an example.
-
@pemberley all Fredward Scissorhand mains are recognized as such! We must stick together!
-
@Peanits If not cosmetics, could there be something else?
-
@Supernaut Shard Hand Joe will be forever changed...
-
Two weeks from today is May 30th.
-
@Hoodedfengm1n yeah, imagine a glowing Freddy chasing after you.
Or, better yet, flaming Freddy.
-
@Acromio That's not the point, and that's pretty minimalist. I'm not asking for free cosmetics. I'm asking for something to show that I played the Old Freddy™.
From what I understand, he's being completely reworked, and I put in bloodpoints, sweat, and many hours into current Freddy.
Whether it be cosmetic or not, I just want to show that I played Freddy before the rework.
-
Equation:
16 / (1.0 + 0.35 + 0.25 + 0.15 + 0.33 + 1.0 + 0.12 + 0.09 + 0.5 + 0.25) = 3.96
~3.96 seconds
-
Yes.
There's a set of add-ons that increase the power's reduction multiplicatively, and one specific Rare add-on that increases the power's reduction by a flat 25%.
-
On the contrary, the longest a gen could take is with Dying Light, Thanataphobia, and Dream World with add-ons.
- A gen requires 80 charges (/ 80)
- Dying light reduces by 0.25c/s (1.0-0.25)
- Thanataphobia tier III with all injured reduces by 0.16c/s (1.0-0.16)
- Dream World reduces by 0.5c/s (1.0-0.5)
- Add-ons directly modify the Dream World reduction. "Jump Rope" reduces by 20%, meaning 20% of 50%, so the Dream World reduction actually turns to a 0.6c/s reduction.
- The Add-on "Swing Chains" adds a flat -25% reduction to the Dream World reduction. This makes it a 0.85c/s reduction.
The equation:
80 / ((1.0) * (1.0 - 0.25) * (1.0 - 0.16) * (1.0 - 0.85)) = 846.56
This makes a gen take ~846.56 seconds. 14 minutes.
-
Well, for starters, a normal gen with Dying Light:
- Gen is 80 seconds (/ 80)
- Survivor contributes 1c/s (+1.0)
- Dying light reduces by 0.25 (1.0-0.25)
The equation:
80 / (1.0) * (1.0 - 0.25) = 106.67
Remember, debuffs are added multiplicatively, so that negative charge contributions aren't possible. Because there aren't any repair buffs, the survivor is just contributing a flat 0.75. Adding in the toolbox, resilience, and spine chill changes that a bit.
- Gen is 80 seconds (/ 80)
- Survivor contributes 1c/s (+1.0)
- Engineer's Toolbox w/ SS and CR adds 0.5c/s (+0.5)
- Resilience adds 0.09c/s (+0.09)
- Spine Chill adds 0.06c/s (+0.06)
- Dying light reduces by 0.25 (1.0-0.25)
The equation:
80 / (1.0 + 0.5 + 0.09 + 0.06) * (1.0 - 0.25) = 64.65
While using the build for a fastest gen, while dying light is active, the gen would take ~64.65 seconds. That's 16 seconds longer than without dying light applied.
-
Yes please! I got my Freddy to P3 lvl50 last August, and I've mained him ever since, along with Wraith. If the rework completely changes him, I want some sort of cosmetic that says "I played this character before the huge rework".
-
- Gen requires 80 charges (/ 80)
- Survivor contributes 1 charge (+1)
- Engineer's Toolbox w/ CR and SS adds 0.5 charges (+0.5)
- Resilience adds 0.09 (+0.09)
- Spine Chill adds 0.06 (+0.06)
- Left Behind with 5 gens left adds 3.75 charges (+3.75)
The equation:
80 / (1 + 0.5 + 0.09 + 0.06 + 3.75) = 14.81
A gen could be done in ~14.81 seconds with Left Behind (no gens done).
-
@Boss Sure! Just gimme a little bit.
-
Working off of this post, Kindred and WGLF should both recieve buffs, like this:
Kindred - While hooked, reveals all survivors auras to eachother, and the Killers aura within 16 meters of the hook. This effect remains 10 seconds after being unhooked.
WGLF - When unhooking or taking a hit for another survivor, gain a stack, up to four. Each stack gives 25% extra post-game bloodpoints. When unhooking, all survivors' auras are revealed to eachother for 20 seconds.
-
No one knows, but it's most likely a chapter. The last time they did a Killer paragraph was Leatherface, and that didn't really go well.
-
@LCGaster There isn't really anything pointing to Ghostface being a paragraph. The leaked dev build was only halfway through the chapter development, (You know how there's 3 months in between chapters?) and Killer probably takes the most amount of time to make. Survivor is just a reskin, so they probably get put in late into development. They didn't even have all 3 perks done for Ghostface.
TL;DR, it's gonna be a chapter.
-
@DarkGGhost well that should've been your original post then. Don't bait people with a stupid idea if you had intentions of a better one.
-
@DarkGGhost so is this just a bait post or are you being for real
