if I see someone with a map and cleasing a totem I'm tryna bless I'm sorry but you're getting the worst sandbag of your life
-
yasssss no bbq or wglf so the grind gets higher!
-
I really don't get it
Killers say they don't have time to look for boon bones because they must just chase and kill
But also want to look for bones to set up the Hexes themselves?
-
BHVR only buffs one side and nerf the other!!!
The one sided changes:
Thanks Scott

Oh really, the chapter is advertised a refined and completed product, then comes out buggy, in australia, we have fair buyer and consumer laws, and i can assure you i can get far with a case.
Breaking news:
Canadian videogame-developing company Behaviour Interactive sued by random Australian who wasted 13 bucks for 3 characters without prior research of product quality
-
Maybe dont blindly do gens without preventing that situation?

agreed

Taking ace in the hole every match since some leave their items which have a lot of addons in and they’re very popular lol

The Plague Breakable Wall nerf :(
Wait until you can’t infect the hatch. That will definitely make the killer unplayable!!!

But I didn't mix anything ? And my reply was directly pointed at your points....? You said about pallets, loops, vaults, etc being nerfed over the years and them asking for more.
I'm telling you that those same structures you said we're nerfed over the years. Still are unbalanced heavily for survivors. Map balance is directly corralated to survivor strength as well.
With vauls I clearly meant the speed and conditions to interact with windows not their position or strength, looping is a basic general mechanic from the gane and not map specific
You are talking about specific stong loops from certain maps where some killers can handle them better and others can’t on a post that is talking about nerfing survivors

Just because things have been nerfed over the years to bring balance closer between the 2 roles. It does NOT mean more work does not need to be done. A lot more pallets need to be unsafer. Or just reducing the amount of pallets. I'm all for just unsafe pallets. Structures need to be nerfed. Do you consider 2 story Badham house with all windows open fair ? How about the house of pain there ? House of pain in HadonHell ? Strode house with god window and 2 windows upstairs ? What about buffed long walls coldwinds got that you can't mind game at all ?
This post is about survivors, not maps balance, you better specify as you mixed a lot of variety

But what has happened since then:
Maps changes... The Game specifically has all safe pallets
Killer changes... Remember old Freddie, Bubba, Hilbilly, Nurse, Doc and Clown
New perks... Some that heal quicker then old healing among other things
New Killers... Some have their own issues
Gen times haven't been touched in how long?
Sound bugs... Killer bugs.... Killers been left out of getting changes (until recently)
The more things change the more they stay the same I guess
The reason why the game has the most pallets is for the lack of windows and being the second deadliest map. The rest of maps were reduced with less loops to help the killer to pressure.
Except hillbilly, the killers you named just got better than before
New perks? Yeah, for both sides, but just undying is a new meta and only one perk change is dedicated for healing to prevent slugging, because Bothany remains better than Felix’s
New killers, every single of them strong and annoying to go against except Cenobite.
Gen times do not need to be touched having new ruin, now mixable with undying or pop, more several gen regression perks and toolboxes and their addons got heavily nerfed, as coop repairing and great skillchecks progress
Every patch has been getting bugs for both sides and changes for killers, what are you talking about? Nemesis just got buffed, trickster got buffed 3 times since release, twins got both nerf and buffs, blight got camera locks and new pov with now leaked addon changes

But you just modestly don't say why all these changes where made.
Remember no bloodthurst killer mechanics in early game? Infinite windows, 2 open windows in the shack, unrecoverable hooks, sprint with no cooldown...Should I continue?
Because those times survivors were truly playable with zero skill, unlike now, and there is people like OP asking for more which no, is not needed
-
Over the years:
Pallets have been nerfed
healing has been nerfed
vaults have been nerfed
loops in every map have been nerfed
footstep sounds have been nerfed
every item has been nerfed
And you want more?
-
BHVR does not deserve money because you got matched with people of your same skill but who have played more than you in 10 days?

You can't redeem 'nice' on PS5. It says 'not available on your current platform'.
So they are making platform specific codes now? Nice to see that you split the player base bhvr.
Probably because when they launched ut ps5 and xbox x werent available but yeah I agree
-
Actual active codes are these:
-PRIDE for pride charm
-INSERTCOIN (until the end of the year) for a recolor of the little console charm
-NICE for points, gives you a nice amount of points
Edit: thx for correction
-
I don't understand why I see a lot of people with this issue. Sure it takes ages to install 100MB for example, but I download just the normal always.
Maybe because I try to keep a lot of free space in my hard disk, enough to duplicate the game because installations on steam are always weird. I also make sure to verify files integrity after every patch not to get kicked for "corrupted/modified files"
-
What is even the point of this "discussion" you main killer and like to camp and dislike survivors we get it

Okay to evade a hit is fine but what about to use it for distance?
In the 5.1.0 ptb there was a "bug" that made dead hard work the same, but not have the speed boost. It was horrible anyways. Good they didn't make that happen as actual nerf

This. We got several „we need more time“-s.
of course it would be nice to get a more official statement but it’s not complete silence.
There was an official time, on a stream one of the CM said June or May, most likely on May. But theb yeah... More "we need to iron some stuff first"
-
no, Sluzzy is right, survivors are moving to killer instead, it's been proven by people who showed the people in queue in each role, specially in high mmr, where there are 10 times more killers than survivors

We're talking about strechted res here, not changing the resolution from 4k to 1080p or 720p.
Filters can only be used on PC. And just adjusting the brightness does'nt help for DBD.
yes, console can stretch resolution
yes, monitors can have integrated filters
yes, adjusting the brightness helps in dark maps
and no, losing doesn't mean the other side is using certain factors, and even if they did, they are allowed to and you can't force them to quit that because you dont want to and you want them in your same level.
quit the mentality that you have, because it's just wrong, you're not like the super best player in the world that can only lose against cheaters
-
@RiskyKara said:
DBD is a non competitive casual game where people believe standing still is a game breaking tactic and using a 4:3 resolution is a bannable offense.
What in the god damn?
I mean I'm absolutely impressed with the amount of work you put into this idea. If it were a significant problem this could very well be the easiest fix. But I just can't believe this is the thing people are getting so riled up about. An aspect ratio.
literally this
most survivors that die to these killers probably use stretched but they dont realise and when they lose they will blame it on either pc or filters or low graphics or unlocked fps or mods stretched or hacks
-
@Katzengott said:
The only arguement what really should work for BHVR is crossplay. Everytime i "lose" on a dark map on whatever which side, i have that thought in my head the other side played on low graphics with strechted and / or filters. PC players CAN use potential advantages which can break the game, in extreme cases it looks almost like cheating. Meanwhile console players can't nearly change anything in the options.
First step should be to finally add a graphic/performance mode and a brightness/FOV slider (not more then +/- 25%) for ALL plattforms.
The own console and monitors you use have resolution and filters/brightness settings, those aren't PC exclusive advantages

No its not. The reveal function perfectly if you bother trying to understand how it actualy works. What stretch res appear to do is increase the size of the detection area in proportion of the vertical FoV increase.
To clarifiy, in order to reveal Ghosface, you need to have most of his model in an invisible slighlty flat circle at the center of your screen. That circle is actualy larger than most players realize, but a lot of survivors don't seem to understand where the center of their screen is. Also its easier to get 100% of Ghosface's body in the detection zone if he is further away. When close, part of his body might not be in the circle and the detection does not trigger, even when he seem to be in front of you.
With stretch res that flat circle seem to be also stretched into a long vertical oval shape, wich completly distort the whole idea of centering your camera on the killer.

pls understand that my solution has nothing to do with ghostface and his broken reveal mechanic. The core script of his mechanic can still be reused just as I proposed to work in a way that can not be touched by anything then itself. If done correctly it should not interact with anything ingame but itself. Ofcourse we all fear that bhvr breaks stuff with every update but with this logic we also can stay for ever in place with no development at all.
revealing actually needs to be touched, native resolution people have to reveal him in the normal way and they can't but stretched people can without even centering the camera, that means GF is bugged and needs a fix, then stretched can go next, because the normal way to play against him (native) is not working and only benefits the killer.
-
Ghostface's revealing is simply broken
I am here sitting in native resolution trying to expose him on my face cetering him perfectly in my screen and most of the times never works and I get exposed instead.
It just looks for me that GF is bugged because with stretched res he's not aiming in the center of the screen and is revealed anyways.
-
There is a very cool post pinned in General discussions maybe they want you to lnow something that is in there idk probably about keys and mori reworks so you don't need to make this post
-
I'm not reading that
But glad you join the right side can we play sometime 👉 👈
-
yes the meme that we have seen reposted hundreds of times, nice outfit
-
queue times isn't mainly about the type of matchmaking but the number of people playing in each side
because mmr can't be disabled anymore with the ranks rework

Isn´t it ironic that Bully squad is a more used term than bullying killer?
The number of killers that actually start a match with the intention to bully casual survivors is really small. At least in comparison with bully squads. Even more, i´m confident, that some of those bullying killers are actually survivor mains, which just want to justify their foul actions and/or create more toxicity.
I don't know you but I don't believe that there is a sect of killer/survivor mains who purposedly wanna spread and create toxicity, maybe they are just caring for their own fun

Yes same, I have 4000hr+ on Xbox and untill cross progression comes out I’m not buying a PC. I’ve always had a problem competing against PC, I don’t know why behaviour included PC in crossplay on, it should only be PlayStation and xbox, idrk about switch. PC again can play on stretched res, uncap their frames over 100fps and play on reshade etc.. what does console have? 30-60fps and a controller where forced to play on a lower sensitivity if you want any control especially playing killer..
Consoles can play stretched too. Monitors can have prebuilt filters. Next gen consoles have cap at 120 fps just because they perfectly can not as last gen, doing the same can cause inestability on gameplay. PC can't uncap over 120fps. Console people can buy adapted keyboard and mouse to emulate controlers.
Talking about fps, the only minimun you need in games is 30, any higher number is just for smooth experience and doesn't actually give any advantage.
People decide to either purchase PCs or consoles depending on the money they have and the experience/advantages they want, no one should be punished because others want people in the same low level of gaming enjoyment regardless of how much they spent. PCs always have had sightly more advantage than consoles and you can't be mad or surprised about it.
If you don't want to go against PC, ✨disable crossplay✨
PC people wanna have better queues and play with cross friends too.

Dbd is a horror multiplayer game, not an scary solo game. Neither killers or survivors are meant to be scared although some events can trigger funny jumpscares for both sides.
Survivors aren't meant to be your little play toys and never were, people is playing with their friends and the killer is playing a pursuit/gore gameplay against them for their fun, because if you are looking for games to punish people not allowing them to play with friends and make them actually suffer irl for scares, that speaks up about that player
-
kinda tired of survivor vs killer posts
and yes I saw you say this post is not that, but it actually is. You're speaking your own experience, and as you mention veterans as third person, it kinda gives the idea that you don't play or interact enough
-
that would mean nerfing Blood Echo and mindbreaker

>Darn I tunneled - Sarcastic passive aggresive comment, starting the salt, your comment being the first
>Ruin undying camp - Pointing out you have 2 perks designed for you to pressure gens and make people stick off from them, because if you camp, you aren't even getting any value from such strong perks

I'm going to say its most likely because they had to work on it due to the licensing with Silent Hill. All of their characters has forced linked sets which leads people to believe the license holders wanted it, not BHVR, which in turn could lead to some bad things if that promise wasnt kept due to some bug.
Bhvr never wanted to speak about that except once, when they said that unlinking sets was fine and not banable.
Konami also spoke once saying they have nothing to do with cosmetics conditions and players had to ask Bhvr instead

They had 3 dead hards. They had no right to complain about your perks lol.
That said, seems they felt like you were trying to tunnel, and that's what they were annoyed about. It is an incredibly unfun way to play the game, and destroys it for 4 other players, after all.
@Nomadd very true.
For me it just looks like they were answering the comments that the killer started? And why can the killer complain for their loadout but survivors can't just after the killer does?
-
the chat here isn't even full to see all you both say, and it's funny how you add up one more "survivor mains mean and bad" post without full match and chat context but we can already see how it's you the one starting with the passive aggresive comments
-
idk but sometimes I enjoy going to their web to rip cool images like these
-
These hackers can bypass the bans by purchasing new accounts for literally less than a dollar and post game reports are useless because for hacking bans they ask players to send video proof to their support ticket. Insane.
They are also never instantly banned, as devs wait to collect a certain number of accounts to ban in ban waves. So hackers are free to play for a week or 2

As stated above, I do not expect to go against new or baby survivors. However if their system worked as intended I wouldn't be going against the same type of teams as I would my main. I understand it's supposed to take into account your other killers, but if it was working properly then it shouldn't be the exact same if I play a new killer or my main. SBMM does not do good when using killers that you have little to no experience with. Because I'm facing the same thing either way.
You also said you only did 3 matches, and if your value didn't decrease, maybe you didn't do that bad before, but also you barely played anything to tell the system how can you do with the killer.
Btw with "teams I would go against with my main" do you mean scary builds of quick&quiet and dark devotion?
-
When you try new killers you aren't meant to go agaibst babies and new players, sbmm makes a value using an overall from all your killers, so you have a general sbmm that will apply to new ones you buy.
As you cover your devotion, but there are cells there, you aren't a new player, I would say sbmm did good. Just save points before buying a character.
-
The new matchmaking system was revealed and been announced since over a year ago and people still don't read it
