The problem is that as long as pallets are there, pallet looping will be a thing.
Looping was not intended, players came up with it. At this point looping is apart of the game, it should not go in my opinion.
On the other hand, infinite loops need to go.
No. Pallet-looping (I'm not talking about infinites) did not exist prior to patch 1.1.1. Survivors aren't just passively using it because it's there, they caused it to exist in the first place: at one point, in the early days of Dead by daylight, survivors started to use pallets to farm and grief the killer rather than escape chases. Killers complained, got told to "just adapt", and we did. We started playing the hokey-cokey at pallets, when survivors were about to drop them. Long story short, the survivor dropped the pallet, missed the stun, and the chase continued. The situation worsened when a bug that caused stuns to award max boldness points was introduced. Some survivors would even disconnect after missing a stun, they were so desperate for the points, lol. Anyway, at that point killers started lunging mid cokey to get hits in and cut the BS short. Survivors went ballistic and drowned the forums in over eight thousand threads about "unfair" hits through pallet drops. So patch 1.1.1 dropped and brought several buffs to pallets with it, the most noticeable one being the so-called "pallet vacuum". But there were also a set of unlisted changes that included modifications to both the range and time-window for a pallet stun, and also a reduction in the survivors' collision.
And no, there's no such thing as "mindgames" in DbD. It's just a word used by people who don't know what they're talking about, but still want to sound clever. Split-decision doesn't take any kind of mentalism.

@Acromio dont tunnel the same dude off the hook?
Don't tunnel generators, then. :)

Ok, as long as survivors leave generators when they reach 10% of progress.

thats true. DS has counterplay now.
its more like the old version of DS: OP, unfun, has no counters and meta perk #1.
No, DS still doesn't have counterplay.

They didn't listen to your feedback. Half of the community was happy enough with his changes.
Half of the community is made of Rank 21 potatoes that don't even know how to hit a skill check.

The fact that there are still people out there that call the Depip Squad's experiment invalid honestly amazes me.

@op Pallet-looping is an uncounterable exploit for which survivors lobbied the devs, who eventually gave it to them with patch 1.1.1. It has no counter aside from playing the Nurse, which is a very frustrating character to learn.
-
The Trapper doesn't have to ask survivors permission to hit them, though.
-
Freddy is by far the worst killer in Dead by Daylight. The only real purpose of his power is to remove the hindrance he has by default (can't interact with survivors), and he gets cucked by the most used perks in the game (Self care, Sprint burst and Adrenaline). He's the only killer that has to give a up to 9.5 seconds head start to his targets, who can, by the way, keep doing whatever they were doing right in his face without him being able to do anything about it. He's even less than your regular M1 killer (like the Doctor or the Trapper). He has a laughable stealth and the most basic-ass offense you can think of, that pretty much only kinda works if the survivors ignore him during the transition. He's so bad that he can't even camp. He has no way to stop/punish hookrushing, bad positioning or stupid plays by survivors in general. And, as we all know, killers win if the survivors play non-optimally or if they make silly mistakes... I don't think you people realize that Freddy is the only killer that can't capitalize on these situations. No matter how you "mindgame" survivors you still have to wait 7 seconds to hit them. If a survivor is anything but braindead, they will run to the nearest pallet/loop, and proceed to stall you for 5 generators.
Every other killer is far better than Freddy, because they don't take nearly as [BAD WORD] long to take action against survivors.

No. This is just a tool to help solo survivors get on the same level as SWF. If anything, unhook attempts by other survivors are what should be an all-in interaction, to prevent unhook trolls.

Not only hits through pallets need to stay, pallets should be brought back to how they were before the dreaded 1.1.1 patch, specifically their hitbox should be significantly reduced to actually be on the model and the stun applied at the end of the drop.

Lol, keep dreaming.

Nurse > Spirit > Billy > Hag
Spirit is better than Billy. A good Billy can be looped easily. A good Spirit cannot. A Spirit that can follow scratch marks and sounds is better than a Billy
Spirit at her strongest > Billy at his strongest
The Spirit is a trash tier scrubstomper. Period. Assuming you're not playing against potatoes, she has both horrible map pressure and non existent chase utility. The first because of the stupid timer the devs slapped on her power for whatever reason, the latter because she can't see survivors and she cannot even hear them properly because of the hairdryer-like sound she emits, while survivors can know exactly where she is at any given time by simply listening to her footsteps. She is a horrible killer. If you 4K with her, the survivors you were facing would have been 4Ked even by a perkless speed limiter Leatherkek. She is nothing near the Hillbilly. She does not compare in the slightest.
-
-
He's a garbage tier noobstomper. He needs a rework alongside the other scrubstompers (Spirit, Wraith, Pig, Plague, Freddy ad so on).
-
If you give survivors an exploit, they never choose not to abuse it.
-
Pro tip: you can't.

Yeah you need to play Spirit more. Generally people assume killers are bad if they are bad with said killer.
Played her for the entirety of her PTB and for several hours after she was released. She was trash then and she still is. The "problem" is that your average survivor doesn't know anything better than running in circles, s they're completely lost when they face a killer that challenges even in the slightest that particular playstyle. Against good survivors the Spirit is just a slower M1 killer. Her power is not strong enough to warrant for all the downsides the devs slapped on it.
-
For now I'm just done playing loopable clowns and I'm going full-time Nurse. I'll see, though.
