But Doc can use his power only once in 60s. I think you talk about the past when doc could keep everyone mad in his terror radius that could be boosted with perks and add-ons and cover all map. Also, now after reaching max madness you can reset it to tier 1 (in past it went to tier 2). Is it a bait topic?
-
But then survivors wouldnt be able to suicide on the first hook and dodge dc penalties.. I think devs would like to keep suicide action abuse, or they would remove it a long time ago.
-
66 perks x 3 tiers = a possibility of getting your perks only at 198th lvl of bloodweb.. It happens. Take care.
-
Dat moment when survivors make a rulebook for themselves and finally go insane.
-
Dont heal, play careful and you should have no trouble taking off traps. Usually, healing waste survivors precious time.
-
Items, perks and maps need nerfs.
-
Didnt we already discussed why killers may look op? Especially Bubba! I cant wait for devs to make him 105 speed. But Im afraid that he will continue 4k..
-
The last 3 gens would be near impossible for solo survivors.
-
Try out and you will see.
-
You need to stop caring about entitys score. Its 1v1 game, unless survivors dont do generators. Dont reason with anyone. Play only with Rancor, Mori or Pigs traps to deny easy exit gates to at least 1 guy. If 1 guy die early, you can try to get more.
-
The fact is survivors can counter everything killer do. They only need to do gens.
-
If survs are complete noobs, no generators are done, they give up and its not above rank 10, then I MAY spare them. After ruin nerf survivors deserve only to get moried.
-
All perks are good, but only BBQ is not situational.

So you vault a window...then what? They'll just run to another loop and you do it all over again. It doesn't stop god loops because good players only need to use them once to gain distance. It also tells me as a survivor that a killer can't run a certain tile so they rush to the window and block it off so they don't have to do that. It's such a trash perk, id even consider it to be a crutch for some players because they rely on it too much.
You will take a hit, waste the shack pallet or wont be able to use a long loop twice when Bamboozle is used right. In any case it force you to move to less safer loop.
-
Clown is always laughing at me. He can smoke the whole map with his bottles that can disable my exhaustion perk. I cant work on gens until the last second and troll him with SP or use my other second chance perk. I thought only survivors are allowed to troll killer. Isnt it 4v1 bully simulator? Its unacceptable. Mute him, nerf his bottles, increase his reload speed and make him 105 speed, now.
-
None.
-
You dont have to permanently quit any game. And as someone already mentioned - its likely that DBD2 or other game will come out.

You don't have to use it. Just saying it's good. You can use whatever combination of perks you want.
I don't think it does. And what's with this "takes 2 perk slots" thing? If I gave you the ultimate combination of perks, so good that you basically win from the start, but it takes all 4 perk slots, will you not use it?
Imagine HG getting blown up, and everyone is exposed while you see their auras
Yeah
Why?
Yep
Usually, for me 2 out of 4 perks slots take BBQ and Pop. Without bp boost the game is too grindy and without pop games are shorter than they already are. If I play m1 killer, then other perk slots are used to fight pallet and window looping. It mean 3rd perk slot automatically take Bamboozle. Dont tell me that its not worth it, because the shack window and pallet can take too long. Also, the shack window or any long loop window can be combined with pallets around it. Without Bamboozle its ggez game for survivors. Blocking it save a lot of time for m1 killers. Now we are left with 1 perk slot to play. Since I want to secure at least 1 kill and have some respect, the 4th perk slot take Rancor. Also, Rancor show auras when generators are completed.
Exceptions are, probably, only 2 killers: the Pig and Spirit.
- Pig can deny exit gates escape with her trap, but you must deal with DS strike before the end game. Her traps are too unreliable to take off Pop, so its 1 perk slot my Pig can play with. Pop is not too strong , so, imo, its worth to keep it on all killers.
- Spirit need Stridor to be consisten and, if the game doesnt glitch, she is strong enough to fairly quick down survivors without bamboozle and secure kills without Rancor. She can take off bamboozle.
I agree that in theory we can play with any perks you like, but in practice, if you dont take pop, bamboozle or rancor, it can hurt you every game.
I dont mind, if you share your favourite combination/s of perks. Im open to your ideas.
One-shot power is good, but it doesnt guarantee you to down survivors, nor to kill them. Its not mori. Survivors take long to kill. Myers and Billy would be top tier killers, if one-shot power would solve all killers problems.
-
Gearhead and pop - 2 perk slots. Thanks, no, I'll keep pop alone.
Dead man's switch - I think it has a cooldown (bad) and pop is much better. i have only 4 perk slots, so pop wins.
Hex: retribution - maybe not bad, but finding survivors is not a problem. Downing survivors and slowing gens is the problem. It doesnt really help.
Off the record - good perk.
Red herring - bad perk.
For the people - obviously good, too.

for pig, it was because of the introduction of the EGC. they didnt want a scenario to happen where you cant escape at all because your trap is active and there isn’t enough time on the EGC timer to get it off (which would be extremely rare but... i think thats why.)
the tier 1 myers change was to make killers powers more consistent, even if it doesnt make sense.
It sound like devs dont want killers to kill.. xD Also, it would force the Pig to keep a trap or all traps and lose pressure during all match. It would be a gamble.

Logic lvl 100, I'm on fisrt hook, they unhook me with BT, I'm your obsession, 3 men body block whyle I get away, we've done this tons of times man, I'm not trying to say "YoU'Re tOxIc" I'm trying to say "this is why you can only get 1k. A pip and 3 men escaped is a win in my book, me dying does not make me think I lost, whyle for killer, I can assure you de pipping, practically no BP and only 1 hook and a mori leaving a 1k game IS AN L
First of all, "Face camping" no longer exist. Devs updated unhook mechanics. Survivors can unhook from any angle, so blocking hooks "face" side doesnt deny unhooks and is meaningless. You are living in past.
Next, you ask to not camp "loopers", because they are good at abusing map designs and staying invisible for all match long, lol. Thats absurd. Even if killer is not mad at you, looking for other survivors and chasing them can be meaningless when all generators are done. The time is out. Camping you or injuring and downing survivors who want to save you is the best option for killer at the end. Also, pipping is meaningles as long as the game is this broken. Both staying with you and depipping is ok. You just dont undestand it.
As you said- you can loop all game long. If survivors are experienced, its 1v1 game. Your win rules do not matter. Enjoy your easy game, or die and move on. Your advice is meaningless.

Again, this is my USUAL SW FRIENDS, with MY FRIENDS, I know them and I know their skills at every part of the game, I'm the looper for a reason man, I don't think I have a big brain, and I'm trying to HELP the killers, if you decided to face camp me on first hook after all gens were done cause you were stubborn enough to not drop the chase on the "good looper", we're getting out, all 4 of us. The thread objective is to make killers understand it's ok to drop a chase, being stubborn will almost ALWAYS end in a 4 men escaped against a 4 men SWF high ranks
he is a "looper", lol. There is no reason to leave you, because any other survivor can do the same thing. Leaving you mean that only more time will be wasted to down one survivor. Your advice is useless.
And, nope, you wouldnt get out, because I play Pig with Rancor. If you are my obsession, there will be no hooks, no bt, no ds, kiss dirt and wait for mori. Thats the only way to deal with experienced survivors now. Sad they dont play both sides and come to forum to make silly topics.
-
I still dont understand why devs nerfed Pigs traps and tier1 Myers (Spine Chill can now detect him, lol).
-
Why do you think that other survivors must be worse at "pallet to pallet" running?
Do you think you have a big brain?
You really dont understand why killer wouldnt care to chase other survivors after you dropped pallets for 5 generators?
Really? xD
-
Not bad killer. If all survivors take IW or you get a glitch, you become blind and deaf 110 speed m1 killer.
-
Sure, go play Nurse and Spirit. Im bored of other killers. Also, if Spirit waste her power to travel around, then guess what - you are "immediately" 110 speed m1 killer. xD And she cant really get that far. If we use movement speed and recharge add-ons (if you dont want to wait 15s after you use her power), then (5s)x(7.7m/s)= 38,5m distance travelled.
If anyone would use it, it would be Billy and Wraith. They are not op, tho.
-
Her mini ruin is useful and she is good at tunneling, but apart dominating one unlucky survivor, she is m1 tier killer. Sad bottom tier. You 3k and 4k only if survivors dont do generators and run into corners.

I don't really think that's how it works, like a support ticket it's taken care of in a list, when it comes up in that list than it's next to be taken care of.
They do this with the support tickets to keep things organized, so I wouldn't doubt the same is done with the in-game reports as well. But who knows, maybe it's done entirely differently, but from a logical stand-point i'd assume it would be the former.
I have like 50+ triggered survivors each day, because of tunneling and camping. Many of them tell me that they report me. Now imagine 10 000 or more players. That can be 500 000+ reports per day. What if devs have only 1-2 guys looking at reports? What if they dont work full-time? I believe there must be priority list.
-
It can be a lot of reports. I guess that reports can stack and who has more reports take the priority.
-
Nah, they dont test anything. They leave it to players.
-
Make it 24-32m aura reading around the killer. It would allow to see sabo team around, but it wouldnt wallhack all map.

That would be kinda cool though. An anti farming perk would be really interesting.
I can add more to good things. We have passive players who are just passive. They dont do generators, nor help to unhook. Those players could be used once to quickly heal and help someone. If you are the only player with BT perk, stealing a health bar can help you to save someone in time.
Or you could take a health bar from a passive player in exit gates, run out and take a hit for injured player.
I think the perk has more positive sides than negative sides.
EDIT: well, it up to players how to use it. xD
-
I know you are scared. Just take a look at all possible situations where the perk can be used:
1) Not safe unhook.
Wouldnt it be actually good to have the perk in this situation as a DS against hook farmers? :'D
2) Safe unhook.
IMO, giving a health bar to injured survivor isnt bad. Weak players are downed before good players. Usually, Im chased as the last survivor or because I want to trade my hooks for time. I wouldnt care to share my health bar. If someone borrowed my health bar early, I would have no shame to take it back at the end, he~he~he. Also, if killer would come back to hook and find me, it wouldnt be bad either, because killer wouldnt tunnel one guy all game.
3) Stealing a health bar during a chase.
The worst thing is when one survivor is tunneled all game. Its a boring game for everyone. The perk would allow to steal a health bar during a chase and shake off killer, if killer is not mad at chased survivor. You can count it as bad, but it would add a challenge to all 4 survivors to survive a match. Right now when killer is genrushed, only one survivor get to play with killer. Killer has no time to kill all survivors. As I said, 1v1 games are boring.
4) Stealing a health bar outside of chase.
In the most cases it would be a troll action that would in the worst case force someone self-care twice. xD It would be a waste of the perk.
What do you think about the perk now?
-
@Nickeleye said:
This would be great until it happens to you. Then it would feel like a bad idea.
well, 2 perks counter each other. If you use it early, then you better stay away from other survivors until the end. Bond would become the 2nd meta.
-
Also, it would be a fun way to deal with hook farmers.. 😁

I still have PTSD playing my trapper and when I finished setting almost all my traps, but (I usually keep one on me just in case) it was down to one gen. This was on Haddonfield, it really makes me not want to play low-tier killers, hopefully after trappers qol changes it'll make him easier to play.
I also have a miserable time playing most setup killers as they just don't have time to setup anymore, I am kind of scared of the new MMR system as I feel like most my games will end super fast if I don't play the best killers possible.
Survivors are nerfind Billy next. Soon all killers will be low tier.
-
For 4 years Billy was ok. What went wrong? oh, yes, devs nerfed Nurse and Spirit. xD Survivors are hungry for more nerfs.
-
It would make sense, but it would make him op, because mostly we have obstacles that are not full walls. It would guarantee him downs almost everywhere.
Maybe his weapon should injure and be able to down survivors at a certain distance? Allow him to down survivors who are near pallets.
-
he is already.. 110 speed. :D

I'm not so sure, with 115 I think he would be fine , but 110 most certainly not
op has the info that his weapon does damage only with m1, so I deleted my comment.
Well, 115% speed killers are looped. Just that -5% speed nerf on top of his disadvantages is a joke. :D
-
/deleted. Unnecessary comment/
-
The idea is cool, but no, because killer can be bullied by swf and experienced survivors. His chain breaks when survivors stand in it. Also, the hook itself do no damage. The killer must melee survivors to hurt them. I was thinking that he is a better vesion of Legion, because it looked like he can make survivors mend easily, but no. He has interesting new mechanic, but its weak. And 110 speed nerf on top of it is unnecessary.
-
Face camping doesnt exist anymore.
And it sound like back camping.. :D

I might be wrong but honestly I don’t think survivors are the loudest voices in these forums. That is me speaking from my own perspective.
Ive literally never read any post where a survivor was like “you can’t do this because it’s in the killer book”.
What about endgame chat and steam killers profiles? Almost every single survivor check my profile and tell me that I play the wrong way, lol.
Here we talk a lot, yes, but we discuss mechanics and perks. Its a debate.
-
No, killers usually discuss broken mechanics, you can play any way you like, but survivors ask to follow a certain playstyle. Thats why there is no killer book, only survivor book.
-
Everyone will casually take out Oni's club and do Demon Strike.

Need For Agitation time is coming.

It was suggested multiple times (at least at steam forums) and it was ignored.

Killers will casually take out Oni's club and do Demon Strike.
After we repaired nectar plants during Blight events, I expect something like it.
