I agree with aregularplayer. You just spam traps and survivor goes down. xD

Both Solidarity and Autodidact are really bad perks on their own. But I think their purpose is to be niche perks for very specific builds. But even in these builds they are really situational.
ye, we need to throw out perks for farming and self defence, lol.

To be honest, to genrush you just need good teammates. No perk will help you to quickly fix gens if your team decides to heal up with self-care.
Leader, LOL.

Try solidarity, empathy/aftercare, then the rest whatever you want. It’s so pretty great when you have a killer that likes to spread injury/sloppy butcher/thana builds. It’s not universal but it’s not useless.
I want WGLF, DH, DS, BT and sometimes SC when I dont get Plague.

I NEVER see it used. I tried it when it first came out and got it to work once out of roughly 20 matches. I'd rather run SC, and I hate that perk.
This.
It just has bad requirements. If it would save a stack like Inner Strength do and, for example, activate outside of chase, it would be a lot more useful.

Distortion can help to genrush, but I agree.

Its not going off topic, im trying to gain perspective into your mindset, you are debating this with me right? otherwise you would not leave comments stating stuff is or is not fine.
I cant attach much value to what you are saying right now, for all I know you are just a survivor only player who feels they suffered in the PTB or feels they will suffer if this perk is boosted by a full....3 meters...
So yeah, stop dodging because its just questionable behavior.
You dont need more aura. No.

So you actually run this perk on some of your killers? which and what else do you run.
And why is it so important to you to see the sabo information? Because if I see a hook being destroyed I turn to a different one (iron grasp or Agitation seem like way better overall perks to use) or I drop the survivor and go after the new one.
Not going to spend 1/4th of my perk capacity on something as situational and often trivial as a surviver sabo'ing a hook.
But yeah, pls answer the questions.
You want to abuse the aura. Dont use it, if you can easily counter sabo and you rarely play with sabo squads.
-
yes, because its enough to see sabo.

It was op at test server. Killer could pick one of two remaining players and easily find the last guy. ez 4k

Absolutely it is. Survivors react to the killer, not the other way around. If you're not getting your downs as killer it's because you're mindgaming yourself. Learn to mindgame or give in to the loop outside of jungle gyms.
Thats only if survivor never consider to move to another loop when killer is backpedalling.
Killer can pick only 1 of 4 survivors and 1 sacrifice take longer than all gens to complete.
Tell me more about "reacting".

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1154903#Comment_1154903
Its not as you can only do it up to 5 times, and is longer than healing normally as you have to cleanse a totem, which is about 15 seconds, and then find a locker and get inside, which the timer on that is pretty long
Its not too strong, but its decent
anyways I am pretty sure not healing in the TR counters Coulrophobia
Good survivors need only 1-2 heals. I play with medkit and 32 charges are enough for me.
-
One chase shouldnt take forever. Sabo can only hurt dbd.

@[Deleted User] said:
The 2 things I find annoying about Deathslinger are, his ability to instantly shoot his harpoon, without needing to aim down the sights, just press M2 And M1 Instantly after. There should be some sort of 0.5-1s pull-up time with his gun.
Other thing is his ability to reer survivors around loops very easily. Autohaven maps that have loops you can shoot over and very easily abused by this mechanic. + He doesn't get cucked like Huntress does with her hatchets. If a survivor is hooked and is behind an obstacle, Deathslinger needs either to reel them slower, survivor to move slower or Deathslinger to move slower. Perhaps don't allow the killer to cancel the hook at 99% before it breaks so he can do a normal attack and avoid the stun.
Overhaul, I find him a rather strong killer, not S tier but certainly strong. He dominates in wide open maps, and those that know how DBD hitboxes work will certainly be rewarded.
If he would need to charge his shots like the Huntress do, then he would be a meaningless worse version of the huntress. The rest I can agree. He can counter long loops.
-
Make him 105 speed, pls. OP

This is way faster than SC. Then at Thanat and/or Sloppy and it easily beats SC. I just don't know why more people don't run it. It's 100% fine where it's at.
It beats SC only if you always have no trouble to find a totem before you need it, or you quickly find a totem, but I agree that in general it is better.
-
Its downside isnt really a downside, so I'll say its good as it is. You get a totem out of your way, you get good bp and it take about as long as SC.

@twistedmonkey said:
It's more of a mentality issue than a game issue imo.
Most players who reach a set point tend to go out soley to win at all costs so will naturally use what helps grant them that.
Many out there use mid to low tier killers and can do just as well but for some they need the power of these upper tiers to stay where they are.
Hmm. What do you think about taunting harmless m1 killers behind pallets all match long then? Is it not a part of the issue?
-
Im god Nurse vs potatoes, too. I can do 0 blinks speedruns. They see me flyin', they dcin'..

or lets make a double edged sword. Remove mories, leave only keys, but survivors who touched a key can be instantly moried. Rename them to Cursed Keys. High risk - high reward. 👍️
-
@BigBrainMegMain said:
They're going to, along with keys. Nothing official though.
Moris should be on second hook and keys well...you know.
Keys should be disabled for survivors who were on hook once. Play careful.
Its logical - killer can use mori, if killer got a hook, and survivor is not allowed to use a key, if survivor went on a hook. 👌👏

On top of poor killer designs we have a perk grind. Fun fact is devs lock their game features behind a grind wall. I guess, they dont want it to be fun.. Devs designed their game to be boring. I would try a stealth build on unusual killers (for example, Nemesis with Furtive Chase and Monitor & Abuse) and step out of usual designs, but I need to grind the perks first and, for, every, single, killer, lol. Is it worth my time? Likely - not. Back to default playstyle. Enjoy the same killer for 100h and the same boring playstyles. I didnt cared to farm in my first 100h and I care even less to do it after 1000h. And DLCs- Im not forced to buy them. You will wait until a perk that can add fun to the game will show up in the shrine.. if I will care to check it.. and if I will care to save shards to buy it. This is why things will stay boring.
Also, moving too much outside of boring default designs will likely make devs nerf a killer. They nerfed Pigs 28 terror radius (changed it to 32m). Now imagine if I would get it to 8m? Devs would make Piggy the 2nd Huntress with 45m Lullaby (or wider TR).

If survivors do not panic and do not waste their time on healing, Legion has no power. :')

Not every challenge is going to be fun. I don't particularly enjoy playing as a survivor. Most of those challenges aren't particularly fun based on that alone. Considering that the majority of challenges are survivor based and those challenges are more grindy in general, I spend a lot of time just grinding out survivor challenges for the rewards. Not because they are fun.
Why it shouldnt be fun? It should be a 2nd full-time job?

You are making this sound so much worse than it is. I finished the challenge in 2 games. I'm not saying that to sound like a braggart. I'm saying that it can reasonably be done in two games. Compared to challenges that require 5+ games to complete that isn't so bad.
I talk about fun, not about time. I insist that it is bad challenge.

No it doesnt.
NoED, Deerstalker, Knockout.
NoED activates, down one, down another, down another, down another, if they haven't opened a gate, do so. Boom, 4 EGC kills.
Boom, they all are standing in front of me and waiting for me to down them, sure. And NOED is not destroyed, lol.
And remember, survivors, dont use BT and DS when Im doing end game challenges!

ORLY, think about your DS and other perks. :P Use actual skill to survive.

All that post shows is they were mad which has little to do with the challenge on it's own. You could play as nice as possible and people still might freak out and yell at you for little reason.
Also, the person should be reported at that point, no matter what the killer did that survivor is in the wrong there.

the most challenges are ok.
This one require to camp dying bodies, if you dont want to wait forever. It is a toxic challenge.

Slugging is very easy. I do it lots of times when I want to find people or punish them. Granted I'm rank 1.
Hell it could be your solution. Down to one survivor boi who's trying to find the hatch. Slug him, find the hatch, close it and then hook him.
@ohheyitsbobcat said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1143731#Comment_1143731
Okay, so you're just complaining that the challenge is annoying then? I'm not entirely sure what the point of the post is. The challenge is to get EGC sacrifices. Having EGC start when 5 gens are done wouldn't make any sense because it'd give survivors very little time to open the doors and having sacrifices count toward EGC when it hasn't started yet also wouldn't make sense and would defeat the entire purpose of it.
Also, what? I know you were talking to the other guy and I agree that slugging can be boring; it's still one of the most effective strategies a killer can use.
@Nurgling7 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1143731#Comment_1143731
So this is just a "Wah, wah, wah, I dont like this" thread? Seems kind of pointless. Why bother if you aren't looking for a solution? Which slugging with NoED is btw. Good luck getting more than one per match otherwise.
You clearly dont understand that this challenge is not fun for everyone.
-
@ohheyitsbobcat said:
-Go into a game and play normally and hope you get a group of potatoes.
-If you do get a bad group, two hook everyone and then pretend to play bad until they finish the gens, slugging if you have to. Be sure to slug when one gen is left to hopefully have at least a single slug on the ground.
-Have Noed and Bloodwarden (deerstalker would also be nice) as a surprise while patrolling gates. Try to get as many slugs as you can and when a gate is opened, bloodwarden them right away. If you have three slugs, just open a gate yourself and bloodwarden them.
-This should let you get at least two sacrifices as long as they don't run out instantly, more if you were able to multi slug them. I was able to get 3 end game sacrifices in back to back games with both games having 32000 points even with a single escape.
-You can do this against a good team but it is harder since you might not have everyone two hooked.
Best of luck. ^_^
I dont ask for help.
@Flatskull said:
Yeah. The 99% ruins the end game collapse and there go ruins this challenge and there go ruin blood warden.
Saying you can open the gate yourself does jack and nothing. Opening the gate is meant to be a concession and it plays like a concession, if you open the gate you better have NOED OR you better hope they didn't immediately heal that one survivor you downed somewhere for your blood warden.
That's ignoring the fact most survivors will go "oh, blood warden, why else open gates after someone downed" and then avoid the exit gates in stealth. Watch that one minute you did all that krump for swift by for nothing.
The end game is pretty bad right now. There is a lot of problems with it for killers...
some problems for survivors too to an extent. Having a challenge based around it is pretty silly and requires toxic/boring plays. Or you get lucky with randos that don't know the meta.
The End Game must kick in right after 5 gens are done.
You are rank 20, if you think that slugging red rank players is so easy, and slugging is not a solution. Its a boring game.
-
@ermsy said:
You could try wraith with all seeing add-on coupled with noed and bloodwarden. I was able to do it in one go with this build.
You cant do it in one go, because you need 5 sacrifices.
-
@Alice_pbg said:
You can open them yourself.
And you can complete the challenge by closing the hatch before killing the last survivor
What is the likelihood of a survivors going down near exit gates? Should I let 99% of survivors get healed and escape while I go after a gate?
And Im not a fan of slugging and hatch games, which shouldnt be fun for both sides, and it slow down games the same as waiting for the gates to be open by survivors.
-
Ruin is not a killer, but a lot of killers will miss it. It was a global nerf.

Eh idk exactly I was more tryna see what other thought was a good idea, if I had to think I'd say maybe a speed burst after a pallet was broken, what do you think?
I dont think devs would add it, because pallets are designed to slow down killers. It would break pallet design. The sprint burst can be added only after putting survivors on hook, but, usually, its never worth it to walk across all map and its impossible to protect distant generators. Also, it wouldnt be worth it to take a Sprint Burst perk over Pop / Rancor / Bamboozle / NOED / BBQ / Monitor and Abuse and other good perks.
-
Sprint Burst for killers? What do you exactly want to add?
-
Sometimes Im afk for 1-3 min, because I forget about kitchen or I get a call, and when I return to pc I find a few DCs because I picked a killer survivors dont like (they noticed the Pigs Jigsaw boxes or Plagues pools of devotion). Rank doesnt matter. Survivors will always dont like someting and find a reason to dc or suicide. Both sides will never be completely happy.

@NMCKE said:

This is different, the killer can do this with the intention of wasting your time. If you're unlucky, you may get a killer who spams their kill interaction until you die by the EGC.
This can be as long as 5-10 minutes and it's completely unnecessary because the survivor is forced to waste their time for a petty killer.
That's why extended spamming is considered bannable.
Also, what type of unsportsmanlike things do survivors do? 🙂
Do you know that devs added the new end game mechanic (the countdown bar) to end survivors unsportsmanlike behavior? Just open the gates, and it will be over. There wont be 5-10 min, because, if killer is taunting 1 survivor all game, other 3 survivors can genrush without any trouble. All generators can be done in under 3 min. Then devs should ban survivors for not doing generators and not taking their free escapes, because killer cant open the gates before all generators are done.
Survivors can hide all game and waste infinite killers time, if they like.
Ok, you can ban all 3 survivors for not allowing killer to open the gates and force you out.
