I'll form an opinion when it's gone and we see if BHVR has thrown the wolf a bone.
-
Love me some Toba, I feel it's the most accommodating for everybody.
-
If the bots are anything to go by, their wisdom suggests "never be seen by the Singularity ever."
I wish to ascend to their level someday, but alas my biology holds me back.

For most killer items, it didn't really come up that much. The best user was pinhead but pinhead also got a faster box downing the survivor rather than use franklins so it's arguable whether it was an improvement.
But it was another nerf it got, just one I don't think really impacted much.
Funnily enough, Franklins wasn't even worth running on Pinhead. It was only Hoarder.
All Franklins was ever good for was Coconuts patented "win by making survivors rage quit" strategy

Dark Cheryl is all I need

You can bodyblock your mates without sandbagging. Sandbagging is like taking WoO and specifically dropping every pallet on the level.
You, the sandbag, are a burden to be carried.
This is different from sandbagging like a hustler.

The "good headphones = free wins" on Spirit is a complete myth. There's no sound sound settings or headphones in existence which let you hear extra of what other players are hearing. So yeah, because the game's sounds are so bad, and they brought old Iron Will back, you're playing a supposedly S tier killer, to the effect of a D tier.
SSpirit's Biggest counter is her own dang chase music lol. At this point I just play around the grass
-
Against the safest survivors who chase like a Gloveworld bus and only do gens when somebody is in chase, theres not much you can do regardless so I dont think its necessary to play Nurse because youll still find the match unenjoyable anyways.
-
He's alright. A tad exhausting to play, I find him demanding like Singularity.

How is "new wiggle" any different to "old wiggle" apart from not having to destroy your A and D keys?
US consoles had to rotate our analog sticks I never want to go back to that

I never insta dropped guards, even before his post release buffs so I could not care less about the minimum length existing. The hunt decay is fine, too.
This post was brought to you by Nurses Monitor gang

Sorry guys. after failing miserably to get Dracula adept I figure I may as well release some stress by testing Knights new changes.
The boys are back, and they're lookin for trouble!

SSwitching to bat form with left bumper+triggers is weird they need to seriously add D pad controls
-
I come from F13 where you can mori survivors any time, idk I think it's just fun. Don't need points or pips.

I just can't unequip Unforeseen and Nowhere to Hide. Ifeel they make too much sense on them.

It's the best level, imo. There are Balanced spots, you can BtB/IW in bushes, the "trash" loops give you a chance against mobile killers, good stealth spots, and the main building is decent.
My biggest and only real gripe is gen spawn RNG that came from shrinking the level down, I'm the 1% that liked OG Toba too
If dbd only had 1 map I'd pick Toba

Makes sense.
What I meant is that it's not needed to be perfectly balanced for a first try.
Now I'm more intrigued about what was so terrible for survs in Light's Out.
I didn't saw anything THAT terrible.Lights out was rather fine for solo q. It was pretty much just tryhard sweats ruining it by playing killers that had no right being in the mode by violating the spirit and integrity of it(Legion Doc) their powers should have been worthless.
KKillers were not capable of finding survivors who used stealth so unhooked survivors would get tunneled out

Oh yes! And I really want a Simon Belmont skin for Trevor. And I want a Count Chocula skin for Dracula. This is a serious request. DBD and General Mills please get on this.
Does Count Chocula have a bat form? Or would he have to turn into Toucan Sam?
-
Pallet stunning a Nurse used to mean something but the double stun was considered a bug and patched out.
They should make it a feature like some other bugs
-
Our mammal brains enjoy seeing perk value and hate to see perk get no value. I think it's just as simple as that tbh.
-
Maybe, if BHVR allowed killer stats to be more varied as if they were an OW character or something. A killer at 4.7 would maybe need 2 hits to injure, and or have less reach or something but killers in this game are mostly standardized so I don't see it ever happening.
-
Scene Partner+Troubleshooter is my goto combo. The downside is that it has the "distortion effect" where I struggle to take aggro because killers don't want to deal with these perks.
I usually pair it with Resilience and Object
-
Your entire power revolves around activating Hunts, it just shouldn't even be an addon choice. It'd be like if Nemesis had a range addon for tentacle. They should have just reworked the entire addon and give a new effect
-
I don't get it...why is bat bad? Seems cool to me
-
A) this is a video game
B) ah yes, let me just tab out of console. Great advice
-
I need more MLO, that and 2v8 made me enjoy survivor again
-
Seriously, this is something even 360 era games knew how to work with.

Is it intended that the Staring Down the Unknown mechanic doesn't actually require the survivor to stare at the killer? The staring mechanic starts almost instantly after the survivor looks at the killer, and has a 1.25 second buffer…
…this means that the survivor can be looking away from the killer, and can quickly flick their camera to the killer for an extremely small amount of time once per second, and the game considers that 100% uninterrupted staring. It also means that if the survivor sees the killer through a crack in a wall for an extremely short period of time, that counts as 1.25 seconds of staring. And if the survivor is using a decent DPI setting on their mouse, then flicking their camera takes a very small amount of time.
I don't understand why there isn't a much longer minimum amount of time the survivor needs to stare at the killer, before the buffer can happen. (i.e. if the survivor stares at the killer for less than 1 second, then the buffer doesn't happen after line of sight is broken). I also don't understand why the buffer is a whole 1.25 seconds, because that means if the killer tries to duck behind objects as they chase the survivor, it often feels like a waste of time, because unless the killer breaks line of sight for over 1.25 seconds, it's like they aren't breaking line of sight at all.
It's probably for the best that the buffer stays.
It feels rough for me when I don't realize that a survivor has me 99d but in the grand scheme of things I think it genuinely does a lot to help the Unknowns enjoyment for survivors.
I'm not against Unknown receiving help, I just worry that the wrong buffs will upset their balance as a Killer generally loved by both sides . I'm a console killer and Tricksters buffs making him 4.6m killed him for me even though I was desperate for a buff.
A Lil somethin somethin like basekit Monitor would be more healthy and appreciated than touching UVX or allowing them to see Weakened status in real time

My favorite collab is thankfully already announced to come, which is FNAF, but the walking dead, carnage fromvenom or Spiderman and until dawns monster would be so cool too.
Spiderman and Venom: Maximum Carnage was my introduction to the Avengers and the Symbiotes at age 5, I honestly feel very blessed.
Carnage Doc Oc was awesome too, I can still hear him screech "die die diiiiee! "

Personally im no longer a fan of Coconut, im not sure what happned but i think he uses a lot of buzzwords and triggers to gain viewers.
I think what i saw in that video is on pair with the avarege nurse player, so i would not call it "Absolute Crazy" (Buzzword / Trigger title) How about calling it fairly balanced instead?
Also, he is cheesing the bot, with extra blinks by staying at its side, just to be able to call it overpowered.
He's also the guy that promoted an AFK Pinhead playstyle that literally had a 0% chance to win but relied on survivors literally rage quitting out of frustration, that's what did it for me. At least AFK Pig, while unfair, technically did have a win condition and could kill people.

At this point all I want is the Mystery Inc. Gang.

Others have beat me to it, but it's intended for direct hits to be insignificant for The Unknown and this is not something that we're looking to change at this time. This was done to a) encourage use of the blast zone & ricochet effects, and b) to differentiate this power from other ranged Killers.
If you're after meaty direct hits, a Killer like The Huntress or The Deathslinger may be more up your alley. It's not the intention for The Unknown, however.
Thank you for letting us know Peanits

Just an opinion at the end of the day, no need to get so up in arms about it. I've had good games with him and even mained him for a short duration, my biggest issue was due to the fact that his UVX is incredibly inconsistent when it comes to bounces. Sometimes it'll bounce in a way that makes no sense, sometimes it'll instantly explode, or sometimes it'll bounce a bit too far.
From my testing UVX is consistent; on a specific spot and angle it will either bounce or insta explode.
Once you know, you know. The kicker is knowing the end result in the 1st place, because I'll be honest lots of shots that look bounceable or explodey are in fact quite the opposite.
I never practice powers in custom games but Unknowns the one exception, he's the one killer I feel I have to brute force knowledge checks for myself. It's just impossible to learn this from a YouTube video or from normal games half the time,

Why should they?

As for queue times... 2v8 is VERY popular. It's a real suffer from success situation. You have alot of ppl queueing to play killer because having a killer teammate which is a new experience. The gamemode is also basically the "casual" mode ppl have been wanting since there's no need to remember 100 different perks.
You mean, the gamemode is easy mode for Killer. This is why it is popular. I have yet to play a game where I did not get at least a 7K with a random Killer teammate.
It's easy for both sides. I'm playing a ton of survivor because it's quite frankly stress free co.pared to 1v4.
If survivors want to do dull totems that's a skill issue
-
Since we had a super basic and safe 2v8 for testing, BHVR ought to swing the pendulum in the other direction next time by adding all killers with the ability to choose add-ons
For science, of course.

He is getting looked at in the coming months so don't pin him down as the worst just yet. If the changes slated however don't do much, then he's definitely in trouble.
Why would he be in trouble? Being able to theoretically play any loop or tile in the game thanks to UVX(which people are trying to remove) is not what I'd call being in a bad spot.

Yeah, if you're playing killer or have multiple scouts on your team in 2v8 you're pretty much getting a constant feed of information.
And you can totally tell lots of survs don't realize their auras are being revealed all the time. 2v8 was not designed with stealth in mind.
Stealth is pretty much a feature exclusive to the Scout class. Killers seriously underestimate just how powerful Iron Will is.
-
If you're hiding that much, odds are you haven't been hooked and a gen got done.
-
Nah, I'm going to disagree just for the record. Unknown is one of the more satisfying killers to play
