I wish! While I wasn’t around for release to where she was at her most powerful, I’d be happy if we got her blending power that she had when Stranger Things was released.
At the very least, we need more nice bushes like Mr Cowboys map has and thick fog that both roles can take advantage of. As a fan of Myers, I’ll be okay if he can’t stalk through the fog due to it being too thick. I’m willing to work for my juice.
Toba has some very nice bushes. Quite cozy if you don't mind alien Spiders
-
Eh, you're Spirit. You're invisible whenever it counts so its not the worst thing ever.
-
Atrocity? The mode that let's us wave Candles in people's faces? Madness!
-
This could have been a perk for a new character lol
-
Lights Out Drac has been rough for me I find it hard to kill these kinds of survivors
I shake my head no furiously but they don't listen ;-;

Massive, massive W change. NA East is full of killers playing on wifi from the International Space Station.
Meanwhile I'm just suffering from random packet loss, going from 30 MS ping to 1100
Ever open a locker at 10,000 ping? I wouldn't recommend it :P
-
I think Pinhead is fine. Plague I could see getting a love tap not because she's strong(she's insane and has been for years) but because she's a chess killer.
-
Wall Maria and All Kill are nice

@OrangeBear said:
Yeah i think this iteration of lights out is a lot better than the original. Only problem is that if survivors hold candles they are screwed when getting chased, because they are highly visible even through walls.
Those candles are a lifesaver for Bat form

so everyone who doesn't run distortion should now take your share of the chases?
What about me who takes chase perks like Scene Partner? It has the same effect as Distortion because killers refuse to chase me. Are chase perks next on the block because it's not fair to survivors who don't run chase perks?
-
I always go out of my way to crash a mori any time it happens to my mates.
I understand why BHVR is doing these changes, it comes from a good intention it's just that they are Monkeys Paw' ing us with this change. It's close to what we want, but not quite.
Little changes like these are what sucks the little bit of fun out of the game so I hope people keep being vocal about it to nudge BHVR in the right direction. Some kind of base kit mori isn't a terrible idea in of itself.

he’s mid. He is just 2 killer powers but from wish lol
He has budget oni dash, artist crow, bloodfavor, and his orb is just an aura reveal. It really feels like they are running out of killer ideas fast, especially looking at Dracula (basically just spirit, wesker, and kinda huntress, but all mid).
He also has a 3% pick rate so don’t expect to ever see him
....JUST an aura reveal? Why, I'll have you know that Vecna does not merely reveal auras. He gets killer Instinct! That's so much cooler than any aura reveal!
Foolproof, guaranteed info is really nice for Killers
-
I think and hope we'll get fnaf 3 Springtrap with a Pizzeria, but I could see David King getting a Security Guard skin.

Sadly the aura reading is already to much and still getting more and more.
Stealth was a big part of the game. If you are not good in chase you have to be good at hiding.
Was already awful in 2v8 when you hid and killer lost you and suddenly a gen popped and your aura was revealed.
Stealth was fine in 2v8 because survivors had base kit notification of aura reveals.
If you know youre revealed, you're not going to try to hide which balanced it in 2v8. In normal 1v4 you just don't know
-
Bold of you to assume this will change anything.
Now you'll have hiders and no Distortion so have fun with that
-
I lost all interest in Lucky Star, that perk is dead to me now but I'm genuinely excited for the Teamwork and Machine Learning buffs. I love machine Learning
-
No pop or pain res or nowhere to hide so this is A+ mode thank you bhvr
-
This is easy mode for Killer, I'm just letting the last survivor go if they pet the dog.
Since it's so easy I figure I should give the survivors a fun, immersion experience by playing a bit of Xenomorph too

Twins release patch is still the worst, because the game was the most broken it has ever been, and they knew it and still released it anyway.
I joined dbd 2 months after Twins so I'm willing to admit I'm wrong, but there's no way Twins era was as catastrophic as Resident Evil.
Rpd was disabled for an entire month straight immediately upon release. Using any killer power would freeze your Game for 6 seconds. You couldn't use any Exhaustion perk, and if you were in struggle phase you'd automatically be sacrificed if the killer had Sloppy, Noed or were named Freddy or Myers
Us console players were no Exhaustion Gigachads who literally had to be playing 10 seconds into the future
-
Meanwhile I'm here fuming over Lucky Star and Zanshin Tactics lol

The boring thing about this mode is you will only play as or against two killers, Leatherface and Legion
TThey Seriously let Legion back into this mode? Are you serious??

@Xernoton said:
The hide and seek was gone the moment survivors learned that you can actually loop the killer.
The killer simply doesn't have any time to spare looking for survivors. They need to be in chase. Constantly. Otherwise their pressure disappears and the survivors finish the gens before they get anything done. That isn't exactly new though. It's just that now that slowdown has been nerfed substantially, the killer has to save time instead of creating it.
Meaning, aura vision is the way to go.
Is that not a bit of a contradiction? If a killer has no time to look for people and must be in chase, then stealth is actually very powerful. More powerful than looping, because stealth uses 0 resources and can be done infinitely.
The problem I have is that maps these days don't support the idea of killers being on chase 24/7 with no downtime, especially fast ones like Billy. We need the right balance of the two.
-
Seriously, leave ebony mori alone. Stop trying to mess with it
-
This perk had a niche and now it's aura perk #437
-
Now that Distortion is being nerfed, can we finally gut Nowhere to Hide? That perk has no right to follow the killer
-
Loving the Teamwork buffs, but I'm sad to see my Vanishing Box get hit. Couldn't care less about Blurry Photo
Machine Learning buffed again, heck yeah.
Absolutely hate Lucky Star. They ruined it

Who knew that buffing a killer who can only work on PC, to help console players (even though he's still unplayable on there), would cause him to be really ridiculous when played well on PC?
The depressing thing is that current Trickster killed all my interest in him. Old New Trickster sucked but at least it was a fun change of pace when I wanted a break from m1 killers.
Being 110 sucked sure, but at least I felt like I had to use my power.
If Trickster is just going to rot they should at least give him bouncey blades base kit :/

I'm still a little surprised Nowhere To Hide was allowed to move with the Killer, rather than reveal auras solely around the generator rhey kicked. At least reduce the radius of effect if it is to follow the Killer.
I believe they need to weaken the stronger perks and buff lesser perks to bring them all closer in usefulness. There are some who are dead set against this, but if people want variety, this constant adapting of perks will be what's needed.
Nowhere to Hide is my absolute favorite perk for the Unknown, but man it sure feels ridiculous being able to teleport across the map and just see everybody
-
@humanbeing1704 said:
honestly agree with this post there’s just way too many aura perks in the game now
People love to conveniently forget that part of the reason Distoetion got crazy popular wasn't it's buffs, but people got tired of Nowhere to Hide
-
I still really like him. I always thought Mage Hand was no big deal, and he still seems the same to me.
I'm just trying out other things right now, like trying to make Dracula work, tinker with Knight, enjoying The Nemetode's new tentacle range etc.
Vecna is definitely way better than Dracula. I almost got a 50 win streak when Vecna released But I struggle and sweat a ton with Drac so I've been more focused on making him work.
-
Wolf was always overrated and Bat always underrated. It drives me nuts seeing Draculas stay in wolf form
-
Iirc Eyes doesn't work because Ooo doesn't actually have a timer. How Ooo works is that the killers aura is revealed whenever your aura is revealed; all being the Obsession does is revealed your aura to the killer for 3 seconds. Eyes can't combo with that wording
-
What lights out needs is vanning Legion and Doc
Any change is welcome though

The only problem that I have with Scene Partner is that if you scream when reaching a vault, it disables the vault animation.
I think they added that somewhere after the perk was released, but if they removed that mechanic I'd definitely use it more.
I meant to tag,
Oof yeah I've gotten killed by that before....and killed while trying to unhook haha
You really got to treat every killer like they are Ghostface by not making eye contact until absolutely necessary. Makes me look like a beginner by never looking behind me but thats all part of the trap
-
I miss the old Pain Res. I'm still kinda upset that it reworked into an even more obnoxious version because of tunneled, but tunnellers still use this new Pain Res anyway...
I was very happy hooking survivors faster than they could repair generators. Was really nice for Killers like Legion that just wanted to go ham
-
I think perk variety must be in a good spot if survivors are flocking to WoO.
WoO used to be worse, but a few other perks uses to be borderline must run. I don't feel that sort of pressure now, so yea don't mind me if I am willing to sacrifice a perk slot JUST to see what my solo team does.
-
Have you played on Cornwind recently? It's nothing like how it was when I started in 2021
-
I only cared about the hemorrhage aspect, they could have nerfed Mangled for all I care. Now Sloppy is not reliable because sometimes you don't know if a heal will regress or not.
-
Don't forget that survivors let themselves be hooked if a killer brings Franklin's and 5 out of 7 Vecnas were trying out Weave so Vecna is probably in a perfect spot as of now
-
@Ayodam said:
They got rid of the darker aesthetics because surprise surprise killers complained about not being able to find survivors. Now that maps are smaller I’d like it if they brought those elements back but I doubt they will.
I feel like a minority for having loved thr pitch black house on Garden of Joy.
That building was so OP for looper that I honestly did not care that it was OP for stealth too
-
@OnryosTapeRentals said:
WoO is one of the most inoffensive things a survivor can run.
According to a lot of people, WoO is a waste of a perk slot. So if survivors love to run a waste of a perk, then the survivor meta must br pretty decent if survivors arent clamouring for some super OP shiny meta perk.
WoO is such a non problem.
-
Stealth or info is just better for anti tunnel in my humble opinion.
DS is nice as an extra resource to play with, much like a pallet but the existence of a resource doesn't mean it will get value.
Ds guarantees 4 seconds+ the extra chase which is nice, but I'd rather just not go down in the first place by using something like Scene Partner, Troubleshooter or Object.
DS gives the killer agency by choosing to play around DS and slug you. I say it's better to not punish this behavior but rather to remove the killers agency by not giving them the choice at all.
-
Trickster just sucks now. He's technically better since he's 115% speed now but he's lost all his identity.
If you liked machine gunning he's just dead it seems. The current one seems to encourage going for guaranteed knives, or just using your bat.
The last Trickster sucked too but at least he was fun to lose with on console.

Can someone explain the last stats to me. The seem useless to me.
On average, 0.83 hex totems are cleansed. This is supposed to tell me what now? What if the killer brings 4 hexes. What if they bring one? This includes matches where no hexes are played at all, if im not mistaken. What does this tell us???
I think you're supposed to just go "huh, neat" and carry on.
-
Nah, I love BT as it is. From my experience, no killer plays around BT it's just too long.
If you ever have a stopwatch against Slingers, they all have the Endurance timer memorized to the millisecond : P

@Nazzzak said:
I've been bringing Exponential a fair bit lately
its honestly so cathartic to have in 2v1 scenarios when there are sometimes 2 gens left. No slugging killer is leaving a 3 gen/breaking chase to kick a totem in a far off dead zone until it's too late
Those Matches are kinda unwinnable/hopeless normally, but this one perk punishes that greed so hard.
-
@Sepex said:
Chain Hunt is active at the start of each trial 😎
i know youre teasing, but funnily enough tgis does literally nothing for us. Starting the match with a chain hunt with near 100% accuracy is already expected of us Cenobites.
The suggestion that others have made that Pinhead can't break his own chains would be 100x more impactful

And also starts them.
Better me, the constant in all my games, than some unknown variable. Safety in the Eye of the Storm, I suppose.
-
Not sure, tbh. I would like chains to be slightly worth taking the risk on, but I really would not be willing to sacrifice Box power for it. The Box is the real killer and I'm fine playing second banana to it. It gives Pinhead an interesting dynamic being "Box seeker #5" rather than the Box just being "lol slowdown"
His iri Box is the only thing that keeps Pinhead relevant against efficient SWF imo, I hope that addon stays. I don't fault Survivors for being efficient/greedy/good at math but this addon is sometimes quite literally can be the difference between a 0k and a 4k all because the coordinated team chose gens before friends. Also a godsend against triple Background Player lobbies
-
No Way Scene Partner could be rated that far down
That perk ends chases on its own
