What do people expect, considering that Unknown has a 7 second cooldown on UVX, it only takes 10 seconds for survivors to remove weakened, and if Unknown want to break line of sight, it has to be longer than 1.25 seconds because of the reveal buffer?
The time window between one UVX hit to the next UVX hit, isn’t large enough to be fun for the killer. It ends up being really frustrating for the killer most of the time, because even if the killer does manage to get 2 hits in a row, the extreme time restriction makes it feel more stressful than fun.
Just don't miss bro

nostromo in my opinion is one of the most boring maps in the game it’s pretty much just toba landing with a different colour scheme and alien references
I've never been afraid of shouting how much I love Toba but Nostromo is straight up trash.

Dbd is full of screaming manchildren; I fail to see how literal children would make it worse.

These long Qs exist because too many people are having fun...what a problem for dbd to have.

Uh huh. If you think this is stronger than hiding one's aura in the first place, you and I have nothing to talk about because we apparently are from two different realities.
Nowhere to Hide is literally not a problem in 2v8 because you know for a fact it's working so you can play around it
In 1v4 the perk is annoying
-
If 2v8 dbd is Fortnite, I guess 1v4 is getting Save the World'd
I'm so happy 2v8 is extended, sucks for the 1v4 crowd but we have the rest of our lives to play 1v4 it's OK to go play Civilization
-
Sad fact is,nobody wants to volunteer to eat dirt because we all know the killer will never kill survivor #3....you will 100% be slugged so you may as well just play until the server closes and hope your team mate dies.
The only thing that gives a survivor confidence to volunteer to be the slug is when there is a far off exponential in play. Can't fault anybody for not wanting to be slugged, because what PC players don't understand is that console players can't just tab out
-
Only time I've been explicitly toxic has been towards humping killers.
Overall though, I find this mode less toxic than normal. What I do see though are super safe survivors trying to instigate chases while the team crushes gens, but I think they are just desperate because killers are very non committed to chases in this mode 2v8-mode naturally makes killers more picky

I mean there really isnt a way you are going to get survivors to keep queing up in 2v8 without some massive changes. The main thing is getting chased by two killers basically just defeats the entire point of the game from survivor side. Nobody is playing this game to do gens or hit healing skill checks. I think if you were to give endurance for like 10 seconds after getting hit by a Killer. That would stop two taps from happening when getting chased by both killers at least forcing them to win a chase twice like the game was intended.
If people don't play to do gens or hit skill checks, them 2v8 makes perfect sense for survivors as they receive double the fun with double the chase action.
2 killers on Lil ol me is 7 other survivors(lol) on generators

I'm so excited, let's frickin GOOOOOO!!!

These equivalent exchange balance changes with add-ons is getting a tad stale
-
Q times are awful yet survivor in 2v8 is still instant...I think people are genuinely upset that others prefer 2v8.
Where was this outrage for the other modes? Right, there wasn't. Because everyone and their grandma weren't queuing for killer.
Instead of crapping on 2v8, maybe 1v4 needs to just be more fun. The customer is always right, after all.

Last time I witnessed this discussion on this forum, a few people were adamant that it was obvious Myers is going for the achievement and not giving it up as the last remaining survivor was petty.
If your goal as the survivor is to wait until the server closes, it absolutely is petty.

No amount of incentives can convince me to play 1v4 while the limited mode is up

For a while we kept having chapters leaked and spoiled, it took iirc a fake rumour of Tcm licence being pulled in order to flush the leaker out but by then Nic Cage was already spoiled. Maybe they are still anxious.

My biggest critique of fnaf is that the series is an all out ASSAULT on my eyeballs.
The idea of an animatronic dead dude seems cool though, dbd will be a good home for people like me who has little interest in the actual games.
A friend sat me down to play the Pizzeria game and I didn't even make it past the pizza stuff my eyes hurt

Thanks for the data. I felt like Thompson House was the best level for survivors by far, it's nice to see your data reflect that

I run that exact build but with Resilience over Any Means

You can certainly ask, but I'm afraid I cannot answer at this time. We'll reveal all the details for when it's ready to be properly announced.
I trust you, I just ask that you don't forget about the fun in this game, a lot of people are worried that the new mori changes will kill the old "mori photo bombs"

Not many Survivors want to play the 2v8-mode. However, it has 400% incentive and while this incentive is not enough to make queues for Killers faster in this mode, it is enough to pull some Survivors from the 1v4-mode so that the queues for Killers are also long there.
It's the other way around; it's not that survivors don't want to play, it's that too many people want to play killer and no amount of incentives will change that
-
@Pulsar said:
They said in the beginning that 2v8 would be temporary.
They also said, iirc, that there would be multiple iterations of it.
I don't really want it to stay. It's fun, no doubt, but it needs improvement and is negatively impacting the base game.
The base game that people say is stale, and suicide on hook for any little reason? That dbd?

i laugh everytime i see this kind of comment, let me guess, game is also killer sided too?
I grew up playing crappy Legion against 4x Dead Hards and 4x Iron Will on old Cornwind, Haddonfield and Red Forest yeah it's easy these days, relatively speaking.
Never said it was sided one way or another, I'm just saying people need perspective

Yes, it is mindbogglingly ridiculous that Nurse is not only in this mode, but got significantly buffed on top. She is the strongest killer in the game to begin with, she is affected the least by the increased amount of pallets (that is: almost unaffected) as well as benefits the most from the constant aura reveals, which are basically free hits for her. The 3% Haste also don't faze her much. And yet she can get 3 blinks and up to 90% increased lunge runge, for two absurd things among the various other buffs. Meanwhile Trapper who is terrible in this mode sets traps a couple hundred milliseconds faster and gets to walk faster for (up to) 3 seconds after doing so. That's just silly.
Nurse shouldn't have been in this mode, and the killers that are should have gained significantly better power-ups. Trapper needs Bloody Coil or Iridescent Stone basekit. And Honing Stone. The Haste after setting or arming a trap should last for 6 seconds. The other killer should be able to arm his traps too. Billy not having the instadown is needed I think, but he should have had Lopro to compensate for it. Huntress should not have to reload at all. Wraith could have had an increased Haste duration after coming out of cloak - omega lunge was always great fun, and this mode would be a good time to bring it back. I'm not sure which killer should replace Nurse, but it could have been much of anyone. Blight for one would be much more engaging while still endowing the killer players with the ability to completely dominate.
Pub stomping uncoordinated randos with no mmr doesn't really say much

You can play killer. You just have to wait 15 minutes. There is a difference.
My guy, you might have the time to wait 15 minutes per match but we don't. I often don't have long windows of time in which I can play match after match. With short queues, I can hop on to play a match as and when I get 20 minutes free to do so. Long queue times completely alienate myself and other players like me.
The trick is to queue up then go take a bong hit, do some laundry or do some push ups :P
I already play Master Duel so I'm jacked AF

i'm.surprised people actually like the mode, especially survivors... there's nothing new, interesting, or different to play 2v8 than normal except the lack of opportunities to be saved or to save someone else... (and perks of course)
I enjoy thr base dbd game, so I don't need perks.
Bonus for me is that killers don't have their usual perks either so I feel I actually come out ahead.

Yeah, I've been playing DBD for about five years and I don't know that I've ever waited more than five minutes for a match, and at this point I'm not willing to.
I started with the Twins chapter, survivor swf was 10 minutes wait per match minimum

No amount of incentive will make a lot of us go through the terrible game mode of 2v8. Killer mode is fine, the fast gameplay is nice. But as survivor, it's terrible.
It's not worse than 1v4 survivor, I can tell you that much.
-
@blazeblue said:
Nope killer sided since cant load with items and being pincer attack like 2.0 knights and or the fact this instant hook(cages) thing like past ani event is back yuck.
2 killers chasing 1 survivor should mean 6-7 survivors on generators I don't see the issue
-
As lame as slugging can be, you kind of need a little bit of it over the course of the match.
If you down a survivor at a gen, you're better off breaking the pallet and damaging the gen before you cage the survivor. No point letting them get back in the game while you're on time out
-
Cornwind should have a chance to spawn with the old ugly lighting.
-
Not healing near generators helps. If I anticipate a Wraith trying to guess my unhook location I'll Urban Evade away and find somebody else to heal me or just sneak off and do a gen injured

I just had a match while being chased, 2 gens got done several gens got kicked and i got hatcheted. I was revealed over and over for most a solid 3 minute run. It's too much when EVERY unhooked survivor gets revealed especially when they are unhooking/healing a freshly unhooked survivor.
That's on the survivors for choosing to heal near generators

Yeah but that's only active for 3 seconds and you have to stay still to place a trap. The range of the team skill also isn't that big. 16 metres is just enough if both are chasing the same survivor but considering how fast the gens get done, you can't always do that. He isn't horrible but on his own, he is just not good enough to end chases quickly when survivors get a SB and 50 pallets.
If you treat him like a Pseudo Knight and corral people, it's not so bad. You can at least get easy single health states.
I've been finding that Trapper thrives off being efficient. Chasing survivors in areas you already want to trap is the way to go. I find it best to let Trappers friend do their own thing and I just help out if I feel it's necessary
-
Trapper is the most normal killer to play, with 150% speed to make him super extra normal. His traps are also slowdown

Neither.
But 2v8 just shows the big snowballing-potential we have in DBD. This is already seen in the regular 1v4-gameplay - if the Killer gets a Survivor out of the game early, there is nothing the Survivors can do. And if a Killer gets to 1 Gen with almost no Hooks, they will most likely lose as well (and maybe get a 1K and every Kill more is basically the Survivors messing up).
2v8 makes this even stronger. If Gens are flying, the Killers have it harder, but if Survivors drop dead early, it is even worse than regular gameplay.
I feel like the 2v8 has diminished the snowball a bit. 1 tiny mistake can irrevocably wreck a perfectly played match and it's your fault and you should feel bad etc. Etc. But in 2v8, your contribution or lack thereof, isn't as significant as you are a drop in river rather than a drop in a puddle.
With this Decreased amount in variation, I feel like killers need to be play consistently whereas the individual survivor has more slack. I

@Xernoton said:
2v8 is pretty fun but it seems, that 1 of the 2 killers has to play either Nurse or Huntress. The other 3 are more like support characters and playing 2 of those is pretty much asking to get stomped. I hope they'll readjust this in future versions of this game mode.
@radiantHero23 and myself have had great success with Nurse + Wraith. Wraith is a great scout and can tell the Nurse where to go as well as play a bit of hit and run so that the Nurse can pick up the pieces and she can also get her 3rd blink while passing by.
There is definitely work left to be done but overall this is some of the most fun I've ever had in this game.
My M1/Legion bias is showing buy I don't understand why people are sleeping on The Crapper.
He has all his normal issues, but people do be sleeping on the bandaid/duct tape solution that is Haste....and 150% for both killers, at that. All my problems have melted since I started playing Trapper.
-
I'm just chillin having a blast camping up on the Thompson House ratting on all the killers

@Krazzik said:
Even with Sprint Burst a Nurse can still hit me. At that point what can I even do?
Honestly? Pre run. With the scout class I urban away for a couple seconds then sprint out before Nowhere to Hide rats me out there's just no time to deal with super safe players
-
If it really bothers you that much, play Scout.
-
Survivors fun, people say that looping killers is where the fun is so technically this is just twice the fun. Surviving a Billy Wraith pincer attack is pure adrenaline rush.
1 mistake doesn't tank games like 1v4. And all the classes are decent. Scout is a ton of fun.
I don't get the hate for the survivor side. The only thing I can say is that survivor skill is utterly abysmal right now but that's because the games having a free weekend iirc.

Dbd isn't going anywhere, yall can always take a Lil break and catch up on some television
