We're a group who are often times playing, and if you are comfortable using Discord, feel free to join us in some shenanigans.
We play both sides, and don't judge.Region also does not matter, since we are fairly international
^ this human is one of the decent ones you can trust them.

sometimes the goal isn't to win, but to never lose.
I do not miss the unkillable Ormond shack window vacuum sabotage corner of doom. the first time I ever ran into that I so happened to be incredibly baked and decided to role play as "angry old man with cane" aka Blight with mad grit. that match proved to me that "meta" is pointless because sweaty meta loadouts like pain rez are worthless in these situations. sometimes you gotta cook to be prepared

my mom thinks I'm the bees knees
-
I want 1v8 my little Oni.
-
I love Feng so much I wanna hug her pet her and name her George. Sometimes wires get crossed and instead of doting on her she just...doesn't move anymore. Oops.
hearing the injured Feng is like a signal to me I just wanna help

Didn´t CoconutRTS make a video where he found out that Trickster isn´t spraying his knives so much on controller? So he build a way to use his controllerand mouse to push the lethality of Trickster for fun?
Don´t get me wrong but such things will get abused somehow XD
yeah but then that means you are playing him on controller
I've argued for years that survivor is better with controller but most definitely not this guy.

Honestly as someone who has played since 2016 I feel very disconected with all this queue time talk, like outside of times were 2v8 is there I barely notice the queue times, like I remember before we had like 10 min queues, like I dont see the problem now.
I started in between twins and trickster yeah 10 minutes was the norm for survivor. crazy how far we've come
-
I want my leprose Lichen back :(
funny how that addon was nerfed the same patch Xeno released....do I smell an alien conspiracy?

I really dislike that she gets almost permanent undetectable. You can never be sure whether she is close or not and my teammates constantly get grapped of Gens.
it's quite the conundrum if you ask me. her stealth is basically her only redeeming quality for me. I feel we've reached a critical mass of auras than we don't even need old Object anymore but now you don't even know what the aura triggers are anymore, which makes it feel almost impossible to try anything against 4 man's. as far as I'm concerned, the drones are just pocket Insidious
I do have Ghostfaces pay to win skin but I don't wanna play him. I feel like SMs stealth is as divisive as whether or not Trickster should be 110 or 115

I've played 100s of hours with people I've never spoken to. No one is obligated to speak. It does wonders for your mindset just having someone with you whose playstyle you come to understand and who has your back.
I also play in the middle of the damn night and that's a trickier issue, as you'll meet people who are on that schedule at the time but then go on a more normal one, and you'll lose them. I also play with people in different time zones, so that helps.
I met somebody in the wild who I just have an unspoken understanding on a spiritual level. it's almost enough to make me tear up. then I play swf with the mates and we just clash lol
-
I've liked chase Legion for years. iri button is my go to and the only slowdown I use is Surge because I enjoy the idea of tapping survivors for regression. Mindbreaker and Dissolution have been staples for years. Enduring is my super secret sauce for cheesing early downs and snowballing out of control. even good survivors get baited by Enduring. the human brain lights up at the chance to knock Legion out of power. you can't resist it.
people will say you HAVE to play Legion with 3-4 slowdown and I honestly believe that's just skill issue.
-
outside of that achievement those odds would give me joy

Because it's visual pollution and should be made optional in graphic settings. Casual players who love smog on their screen can have it, competitive players can opt out.
if this pollution idea had any merit, then terror radii would be optional too because it's auditory pollution.(seriously, try playing Spirit with her awesome banger of a terror radius...)
-
I just want the og pain res back. I want to be rewarded for hook farming. the whole point of the token system was because people took pain res "just" to do some regression while you tunnel 1 guy out but buffing the regression to put it on a token system just made it more annoying for skillful killers who overwhelm survivors, but it became even more annoying for survivors with the bigger regression.
-
I know nothing about ST not do i care, however ST has been imo the highest quality DLC for quite some time. Steve is handsome, Nancy has her fans, and Demo was a solid killer for years with great teachables. Great terror radius and menu themes.
I still don't have interest in the property itself but I'm excited to see if part 2 will be a banger like the first.
-
welcome back my beloved borgo pallet oh how I've missed you
-
girls used to be weaker than men because they could not use Tenacity as effectively as men. I thought i was just dumb and terrible at Dbd asking silly questions like "do you crawl THEN recover or recover THEN crawl?"
-
I simultaneously could not care less what other members of my species think, but I'm also super interested in what other people think just to see if my own opinions align or not. I think that's fun.
I wish I had the motivation for the YouTube grift because I had the knack for the clickbait when I was 12. if I yell "Pinhead is the most fun and balanced killer for survivors!" people are gonna immediately drop what they are doing and write an essay on how wrong I am. it's almost like a drug to get that sort of response in droves it's easy to make a habit out of it.
i know great power comes with great responsibility, having an audience and platform and all but this is also why critical thinking was taught in schools. I think its fun to rib each other for our hot opinions
-
mindbreaker!! I can play dbd again!
-
I would have been less insulted if they just deleted the addon and didn't give me any hope whatsoever for an original replacement
-
nows a good time to return the Borgo pallet. if you know you know..
-
I really thought Legion was "the purge guy"
then I saw that they were actually 4 in 1(Blighted) and went like "ooh that's why they are Legion..." I misunderstood that killer twice lol. when I learned not all killers were from a movie I was bummed about Legion even though they are basic, mostly serve as a grounded foil for other killers and would probably get killed in whatever movie they would be in.
-
I haven't been keeping up with things. I used wicked and Babysitter a lot and apparently both have been made bssekit in a way?
-
id probably gut exhaustion perks for survivor and aura perks for killer. give survivors Distortion back and smoke bombs. id also give killers OG pain resonance.
I like strong killers, but not omnipotent ones. survivors need good tools but sitting on Finesse and Lithe doesn't strike me as fascinating gameplay. I think by making killers have to make more hard reads, there's be less need for exhaustion so you can actually survive in the immediate vicinity of Ghoul or enraged Oni and not immediately explode.
-
smoke bombs were the answer and society hated them for it
-
if we include addons and are just seeing this from a perspective of a sweat lord, the Plague clears them all. prayer tablet and iri seal is too much for people to handle. I can't play Plague rn though because Fearmonger is a staple for being a chess merchant.
why interact with survivors when they can come to you and interact themselves to death? Wesker has to, like, play Dbd and such.
Wesker is too fair with 4% hinder in this economy. that said, Wesker is probably the most well rounded pick. I just prefer to dabble in extremes.
I prefer cats.

I mean it’s whatever but I think most of us were looking forward to having our normal queues and mmr back tbh
I'm going back on dbd hiatus once 2v8 is over so no not everyone. I'm waiting to see how the new changes pan out.

The having to play 20 games. It seems abit much.
only if your internet runs on a toaster or you're playing from one of the more disadvantaged areas like Africa.
-
oh...is that not already a thing? what the heck?
-
the new killer is definitely Springtrap 2.
-
@Deadman7600 said:
Honestly, Scout has never caused me much of a problem unlike on command sprint burst. Now you can always just normally run to a pallet that is always there and then just press E to escape when you lose. Original SB was manageable because it was automatic meaning it was only good for a pre-run then you're on your own, this is practically old dead hard again. I can only see blight, nurse and potentially a really skilled huntress or deathslinger (with insane predictions) who could counter this.
scout pretty much just messes with specifically Trapper. if you follow him around all game he's just useless.
-
she's ugly and gross like Hag. that's my guess to her seemingly low pickrate, which is fine by me. her actual strength doesn't matter.
-
maybe it balances the numbers by encouraging survivors to make inefficient plays in the name of Bloodpoints.
-
there needs to be a rager queue for all the ne'er do wells to mingle with each other; they can ruin each other's games since the stick method doesn't do much to stop them
-
I'm nice because I have a loot bag in my back pocket :)

Doesn't surprise me, someone apparently made a video [featuring or specifically about, don't know which] one of the users on this forum, ridiculing them for their "survivor sided" opinions, which led to them getting a harassing message recently. People have been getting extra unhinged lately, on all sides
My recent theory is that the seeming uptick in ridiculous attitudes is a product of the FNAF chapter bringing in younger, less mature players who are also less used to the type of multiplayer game where you're expected to stay through a whole match, but I also admit I have no evidence for that and it's just vibes, so take that with a healthy pinch of salt
it's really not fnaf tbh. I bet most of those kiddies quit already (can I have my yellow addons back now?)
dbd players have always been mentally unhinged. its because this game, when it doesn't provide serotonin, produces in the moment rage which is normally a "think it don't say it" sort of thing but in this game we seem to like dwelling on our last matches and make posts about it so we get all the unfiltered emotions. the mods are truly front line workers having to sift through all that.
-
50,000 people used to post here...now it's a ghost town

that's really sad

I think cage time need to be increased cause as a medic trying save and heal people when a cage spawns and on the complete other side of the map and the time it takes to go for you takes so long and other times I'm cutoff by a killer while I'm trying to save and nobody else goes for you. I wish there was a solution for this
i can't help but wonder if cages need to be more random...maybe that would give some bad scenarios but with the current system I can tunnel off hook with my eyes closed. it's way too easy. and in the case that survivors let that hooked person nearly die, I can proxy camp that hook and swoop in precisely when the one medic goes for the save, which moves the cage and ensures the hooked person dies.

Hot take, Trapper is goated in this mode and barely anyone realizes it.
You can 3-gen (or 6-gen actually) really well on most of the maps, and if your teammate is getting downs at least here and there, you should be able to have a tight net that no one can get through.
That said, if he pairs up with Ghostface or Deathslinger the odds are not as great.
I don't mean to downplay poor Trapper he does have his merits despite his obvious shortcomings; I just feel he is like Legion in the sense that he really needs to bounce off his partner. Ghostface and Legion for example are at odds with each other. in Trappers case, he needs somebody to shake the hornets nest to get people moving in a panic and PH is too cumbersome for that job.
I won't play him blind but paired with a faster killer like Hillbilly he can be a nice anchor tbh. it's just a shame about the Shadow class, I feel he was the killer most dependent on hiding his aura from those pesky scouts. anytime my random teammate took Shadow(usually Wesker or Legions) I knew I was in for a rough game. have you played Trapper on this 2v8 with the new Shadow? I've been a Lil afraid to try yet
-
even though I'm Canadian I despise Trevor...please no

@IronKnight55 said:
Great idea! Let’s make those queue times even longer!
changes aren't made in a vacuum; mechanics like the comeback system affect player bhvr, in this case makes them 99 gens. if that got removed surely the gen speeds would be looked at.
or maybe instead of hooks it could work based off deaths to encourage spreading out hooks, a grave sin for killers in 2v8.
-
my brain may be too F13 pilled but I'm naturally against the play for hooks way. Idk, I feel it'd make the game feel more...gamey? like, if you hook a dude a get 5 points, then tunnel hook for 1, or get another fresh hook for another 5 etc. I'd feel like I'm playing a sport when I want to play murder simulator.
I'm not saying that would happen, more that that's my worry about the direction thr game would go. but my opinion could probably be safely disregarded, as I mentioned I am too F13 brained because I didn't hate double Iri Myers.
-
bystander effect is a species wide problem i don't think there's a solution to combat our genetic programming.
id like this though to help coordinate medic plays
-
I'm not exactly a fan of this kind of efficient metagaming but I'm glad others are finally catching on.
yellow bars for all!
