You don’t want to do a poll because you already know what the result would be.
-
I quit about a month ago and have not regretted it. Solo queue is a nightmare and I was fed up. I encourage you to at least take a break, you’ll feel much better.
-
Once the gates are open, no one is hooked and the killer has not moved for 30 secs, all survivors are killed by the entity. Do it BHVR. 4 minutes is still 4 minutes and no one should have to sit it out doing nothing. That goes for both sides.
-
So spreading out is now abuse? Good god killer mains these days…

Im not argueing for it but isnt 60% basically the 2 kills per game the devs want?
Two and some change, yes.
-
I’d love for the killers arguing for this in this thread to address the elephant in the room: the 60% kill rate at all MMR. No one has yet, and if you want to add basekit perks to killer you need to justify raising the kill rate even more.
Please enlighten me.
-
Just get better.
-
Probably the same reason killers aren’t punished for bleeding out survivors.
-
I agree. She does have counterplay. I still think she needs a nerf.

Anyone who is actually tired or fed up with the game is just going to stop playing. People who are mass DCing are crybabies, because they can't handle the game not going how they want it to go.
You may actually be on to something because I have never DC’d but I have recently quit DbD due to the DC problem and matchmaking. Fair point.
-
@Crowman said:
People DC, because they get upset that something in the game isn't going the way they want it to. It has and never will be an indicator of unbalance.
I have never seen such a DC epidemic in any other game I have played, ever. I highly doubt 100% of this massive DC movement are just unreasonable crybabies. I think a decent portion of the people who DC are just tired and fed up.

I'm on a 78 game win streak right now with a mid-tier killer. Prior to that, I had 1 tie on one of the most survivor-sided maps, then another 50+ wins on the other side. 99%+ for mid-tier. Drops to 95%ish for trash-tier killers for me, but I've only been playing about 1.5 years. Still a noob. :(
Can't wait to see the results of this tournament coming up.
It’s not unheard of. My cousin plays mainly killer and is obsessed with his personal stats etc, puts everything in a spread sheet. Last we talked he was hovering just below 90%. He plays all killers but Blight is his main.
-
I love how killer mains reacted to 61% with “but wait, at top MMR it’s probably 20%!” And now that the stats for top MMR come out it’s “stats don’t matter”
Stats absolutely matter. If your personal stats for slipping on a banana peel every time you walk inside your home is above 50%, you just might start looking down when you open your door. Stats inform almost everything we do.

I’ve been running into this a lot. The latest one was against a Nurse, a two man SWF DCd at 3 gens because they got themselves slugged. Only me and Mikaela left, the Mikaela gets slugged because the Nurse wanted the 4K I guess. As I am sneaking over to the Mikaela I get a PSN msg telling me to just give up and DC; it was one of the players who just DC’d. I got the Mikaela up, pointed her to my gen and got the attention of the Nurse. Now, I’m not a pro or anything but it was cowshed and I was using LOS blockers very well… I proceeded to run the Nurse while the Mikaela finished the last 2.5 gens (what a BOSS, after a double DC). The Nurse breaks off and goes to the wrong gate, and thankfully Mikaela had opened the other. We both got out.
In the end game screen, I get another msg saying “well done”, I answer “never give up, ggs!”. I should have asked him why he stayed to spectate after DCing, because I just don’t understand it.
I guess they have to wait out the penalty so maybe they think “may as well watch some DBD “?

This is what I've been saying about the napkin math between hook stages and gen times. If a killer face camps, all other survivors get a stacking percentage on repair speed that linger after they leave the hook for however many seconds. For no interactivity, Survivors should be able to finish all gens while someone is on the hook. The timing needs to match up so you can't exactly save them. The person on the hook gets full chase points.
Evader also needs to hold more value. If you get chased for 5 gens you need to be coming out with 30k. If you get face camped, its a nice little bonus.
Devs, please do this. This is my favourite solution I have seen thus far.

CoD 2 zombies? You better say yes, cause that's the best one
Change my mind, lol
Oh absolutely 2. Though I do prefer the maps from Black Ops 1
-
Ah, but you see, when I play Nemesis I get zombies like this. When I play AGAINST Nemesis, I may as well be playing CoD: Zombies.
No consistency I’m afraid.

How? I brought the perk. This OP is saying it shouldn't matter, it should just turn the perk off because he wants to escape. That's the logic here.
Survivors brought DS and OTR, why should their perk turn off in endgame? ESPECIALLY when they haven’t used it all game.
-
@SpaghettiVase said:
Why do you think you’re owed even a chance at escape?
Some people just say things without thinking. Do you understand that your logic can be applied to killers as well?

A bad SoloQ game is way better than getting bullied by SWF as Killer IMO.
True but bully SWFs are not even close to as common as bad solo q games

I think 1 + 3 + 5 would be great for her. All 5 might make her overkill.

If you think macro clicks are toxic you probably are too soft to begin with,, cheeky bm sure, toxic not even close but whatever makes you cope 💁♂️
… that’s what BM is, bud. Toxic conduct/toxic behavior are actions that are considered bad manners lol
Also, if you’re not gonna admit it then I’d steer clear of asking the devs to “have the stomache “ for anything.
Come on bud, muster up the courage. You like to macro click at killers, it’s ok.
You won’t be able to much longer

“Don’t mean to be ungrateful or rude but I’m about to be ungrateful and rude, also your proposed changes are garbage, k bye”

At least have the stomach to admit you’re mad you won’t be able to be a toxic clicky clicky and move on.

I feel you with the hook smacking. I just think it's funny and sometimes in character. Unfortunately survivors tend to take it the wrong way. There is no room for killer to have fun sometimes.
Apply that same logic to tbagging and flashlight clicking, do you see how that sounds? What about survivor fun? I’m sure clicky clicky and tbagging annoys you

Ironic that you think I take the game seriously just because I face camp you, which I literally do for fun, all the while you rage about it on the internet and put up very defensive barriers to your communication. Seems legit.
I do not care if you are good or not, you were going to get camped because you were the first down. Nothing personal, kid. A face camp God does not concern himself with your state of mind as he face camps you. Just enjoy the beating on hook, it is a privilege to be beaten by someone as adept at face camping as ThiccBuddha.
You’re so edgy bro

A better version of BT as basekit. OTR comes bundled with a mini Iron Will. And now unlimited Unbreakables at basekit lol. Behavior did you ever guess that if all 4 survivors are getting slugged like flies maybe it's the team's inefficiency? Also if a survivor is now downed near a pallet and other survivors are hovering around it, the killer can no longer bait the pick up and will be forced to pick up the survivor only to get pallet saved? And flashlight savers can now hover around the downed survivor more confidently, because if the killer chooses to chase them for a hit, the downed survivor will get up? Thanks for proving once again that you don't play your own game devs. Just because Dead Hard got nerfed, they gave survivors so much to compensate.
OTR, DS and Adrenaline basekit next, let's go! Destroy those camping, tunneling, and slugging killers!
Run lightborn and hex blood favor. Also, if you down someone at a pallet and there’s so many survivors around you that you can’t pickup: REJOICE, there’s no one on gens or at most, 1.

Unbreakable's biggest strength is the threat it possesses simply by existing, even if no one is running it. Unbreakable forces the killer to pick up a survivor or risk the survivor getting up and costing the killer a lot of their pressure. If a killer wants to slug, they are risking a possible Unbreakable play but also possibly getting off a lot of pressure if the survivor doesn't have it/already used it.
If the survivor didn't have Unbreakable, you were basically pressuring 3 survivors at once (assuming you are chasing another survivor).
Now the killer has to pick up the survivor as they know the survivor can get up and cost them their pressure. No other survivor needs to get off their gen to pick them up because they know that they will either get up on their own, or the killer will be forced to pick them up.
This change just removes risky plays and makes everyone play safer because chances are now that risk is going to backfire.
And it is no longer one time use. Before if they used it you know they can't do it again so you can afford to go for that risky play, now you can't because it's infinite.
My biggest issue though is that this change is going to punish lower tier killers more than Nurse and Blight. They can still make their risky plays, but weaker killers like Myers and Trapper can't really afford to take those risks anymore.
This is a buff for survivors. We should wait until the PTB to see if this is actually a big buff or if we are all overreacting, but this is definitely still a buff.
If you pick up the survivor and hook them you are still pressuring 3 survivors if you start chase on someone else lol

Because travel time is precious, so that's 45 seconds you can spend on a gen, and if your teammate wants to get up, they'll use 45 of their 4 minute timer
Almost like the killer should hook that survivor so the team has to rescue from hook. I know, crazy thought
-
Wow, all of these changes look fun and well thought out. Good job, I wouldn’t mind seeing these changes and it would make me play twins again
-
Don’t let people like that get to you. Hag mains in general get my respect but your play style makes it better and even sounds pretty fun, for you and the survivors. When I play hag I’m guilty of playing proxy hook hag most of the time, don’t judge me lol.
To your question, I think it’s the explanation is SWFs tend to be way too altruistic, making dumb moves to save their friends at all costs. This is made worse when they “think” you are camping/tunneling or they “feel” you are playing unfairly. You did absolutely nothing wrong teleporting back to the guy who needed his flashlight back, that was his misplay, and your opportunity.

no its not ! but if bhvr not begining to change their mind and if they dont start listening to the community, its will be a hard times for dbd
example as me, i for real never do breaks for dbd like in that moment, i play dbd nearly 4 years and dbd has up and downs but what now happening is not correctly, its more depression playing as fun i never know a time for dbd its was so unfun like in that moment, bad matchmaking, swf is to easy is boring and if you play Killer you match against many swf groups they bc nobody want to play solo (but if you do that with your 5k+ hours, you will match with 100,200, 500 and and hours bots)
and then it feels even worse when your favorite game is in such a bad state and the devs don't even communicate it and nothing seems to be done in the next patch, really you stand there and are just very disappointed and think "ok then I'll play just like everyone else a different game, why get upset ? I'll copy the people and go too !"
You don’t mean “listen to the community”, you mean “listen to the killers”. You don’t want the devs to listen to survivors and don’t ever pretend that you do.

How is it healthy.....? If a group messes up so badly. All 4 get slugged at the same time....They're rewarded for anyone who isn't hooked to get up ....?
So you didn’t read the notes, and are just crying to cry. If you slug all 4 you win the game automatically now.

I have like 90% win rate man.
I'm not talking about balance.

So you have a 90% win rate but are crying about being mildly inconvenienced by a perk? Ok dude

"Nerf Windows of Opportunity", from the creators of "Securing my kill", "Don't care about someone fun" and "doing my objective".
But I know the solution for Windows of Opportunity: let's remove windows and pallets from every map. Interesting what next complain would be?
It’ll be that two survivors start the trial hooked and they they shouldn’t get a speed boost after a hit…
-
I think this might be one those things I’ve been hearing about… skill issue?
Might be time to start doing some of that adapting.
-
He needs something, that’s for sure. I’ve gone against very good Billys and they STILL struggle to win matches.

@Araphex said:
Once they fix solo q issues, I'm sure this will change in favor of survivors. Right now, to many solo survivors lack the advantages of a SWF. I'm sure survival rates would show to be much higher if they only provided us SWF data, which I wish they would have done in contrast to solo q.
If they released solo q survival rates they’d have a riot on their hands lmao
-
I remember my buddy saying “killers will cry about nerfed dead hard eventually “
I thought he was crazy lol
-
He’s right though. Using your logic, the killer is getting a speed boost for doing nothing.

@Malkhrim said:
So, people are already forgetting that killer queues were instant and survivor queues were quite long until right before the latest mid-chapter patch came live? There were clearly far more survivors, but the situation got changed with the many killer buffs, including the much waited nerf to gen speeds. More people decided to play killer and less as survivors because of the buffs, and then more wanted to play as Wesker. People playing killer this much is just a recent thing and might not even last that long.
I hope so. I just want to play my Demo
-
@Bot_Salvo88 said:
Why is everyone acting like SoloQ is bad now? Bad players existed since the game came out.
Because killer queues have skyrocketed so people like me who just want to play killer have been forced to play solo q to earn BP in an acceptable time frame. More people are starting to understand the state Solo Q is in right now
-
@SuzuKR said:
Survivor queue time is like 20s and killer queue time is like 30s for me.
Where are you located because mine can be 5-10mins when I play
-
No hiding allowed, auras and noise notifications every 10 secs.
-
I’d suggest bite the bullet + lucky break. Allows for some fun and effective plays on certain maps. Just bring a good fast medkit.
-
It’s the survivors fault if the killer is playing normally. If the killer identifies the 3 gen and only camps the 3 gen from the start there is nothing you can do, especially if he has basic gen regression perks. Anyone who says you can break a 3 gen if the killer decides to defend them from the start is just not being honest with themselves or anyone else.
-
This seems like a you problem. You based your entire play style on camping and tunneling and now got a direct nerf from the latest patch and you’re feeling the effects. Maybe adapt, like killer mains have been telling survivor mains recently.
