Ever heard of evolve?
-
On a technical level, Survivors can interact with the hook on 3 different sides. front, left side, and right side. Killer can only interact with the hook on one side, the front. You can't block every side as a killer but survivors can.
On a level of why not let killer body block? They would be able to face camp like no tomorrow and prevent a player from being saved. Sure it wastes time but it's just frustrating for the one being camped.
And why can survivors body block, you have a weapon. Use it.
-
Spine chill, Stake Out, SB, and BT. Covers my grounds so I can adept in most situations!
-
For killers, I uses Otz win Streak win con.
For survivors, 3 man or more escape is a win, 2 is a tie, 1 or none is a lose and is just for getting as much points as possible at that point. Doesn't matter if I get hatch or not, it's just for points.
-
Slappy comes to mind the most to me as a killer, Maybe the killer lawn gnomes for giggles lol. OH, the executioner from terror tower would probably be the most realistic.
-
I like this idea but it means teachables can only be taught to the other survivors of said role. In which case, your just limiting who can be taught specific perks basically. Otherwise, we'd have to remove the idea of teachables all together.
Cool idea tho.

Sacrificing your self for another's escape

It might be difficult but it is supposed to be a challenge

Besides Hillbilly's add-ons, can you provide any examples of unjustified killer nerfs?
*looks at pig*
-
Another Pig Nerf. I dont care much about tampered timer addon combo but another nerf to her ability would just suck so much.

I would clarify you something as pig main.
Add on rework = pig buff so....keep being add on dependant.
Bro just##%%## make killers as wraith (add ons to improve him) not making them add on dependant
Ok? Did I say anything on the matter?

You underestimate the Devs power.
Do you know the tale of The Pig Nerfs? It's Not a story that the devs would tell you.
-
I play mainly Pig, nurse, blight, and Pyramid head.
-
So am I going to be chased by a triangle or something?
-
I'd go with BT still solely because it helps with unhooking while giving the unhooker a chance to flee

Wait, does hoarder work with the Lament Configuration?
Yes! Doesn't help too much if they are far away but it's helpful if they are nearby so you can prevent them from solving.
-
Honestly anyone that doesn't benefit from sloppy butcher can use this effectively

Are you sure that survivors can't see the box with 3rd Seal? Killer items like Jigsaw Boxes, Pools of Devotion, Alarm Clocks and Cages of Atonement are exceptions. I would assume the Lament Configuration would be on that list too.
Oh wait my b, you use the Iri lament addon to hide it to opponents. The 3rd seal is to prevent survivors from finding their hex Plaything totem when they are near and to counter anti hex perks.

@GrimoireWeiss said:
@MandyTalk unfortunately killer side still needs a lot of improvement. I don't know if it's because RCPD is a super heavy map and Nurse usually causes a lot of freezes, but this match had incredibly poor performance.
Sloppy Butcher lag.
BBQ stack lag.
I don't even know how to explain this one. The flashbang Feng used made me slutter into the stairs and I couldn't move until I blinked out of it.
Unhook lag.
Gen explosion lag.
Unfortunately nobody used Dead Hard on this match so I couldn't record it on the killers' perspective.
Also, off topic, but is Shadowborn bugged? Wasn't the FOV bigger than that on Nurse?
Yeah, Shadowborne is bugged and not giving a FOV increase. I heard Monitor and Abuse is also bugged for the same reason on the forums but I dont have confirmation.

My build,
GIVE ME THE BOX;
Hex: Plaything -when you hook a survivor for the first time, they become oblivious until a hex totem that's assigned to them is cleansed
Hoarder -you gain a notification when someone picks up an item.
Hex: 3rd Seal -when you hit a survivor with a basic attack, they gain blindness
Undying- the first hex perk cleansed instead is transfered to a dull totem, this is cleansed instead.
So the idea is that players are gonna be busy with finding the box or removing their oblivious effect. Thing is that they don't get aura reads on the box or their assigned totem due to blindness from 3rd seal essentially making people walking around like headless chickens trying to find the box before you do. If they don't, CHAIN HUNT TIME.
-
I mean technically the entity is not for anyone. It wants the survivors to suffer. The more emotion, the more it feeds. So giving false hope could be seen as something the entity wants to give.
-
After pig is nerfed. Need to bring her down first.
-
Spine chill, BT, stake out, and Sb or do.
Covers all of my bases so I can adept to the game in most situations.
-
The The Pig
-
I'd run a hex build with him. Undying, ruin, Plaything, devour/haunted ground.
For addons,
Torture pillar (considerable increase to speed at which chain hunt starts.)
Iri Lament config (while chain hunt is inactive. Survivors that are 16 meters away from the box can't see its aura.)
The idea is winning with devour or Haunted if you want to discourage cleansing. While chain hunt is inactive, survivors most likely will be running around looking for hexes and the box, due to Undying, its gonna take awhile to Cleanse everything. If they take too much time cleansing, the box will massively hinder everyone until it's solved allowing you with free downs especially if devour gave you exposed. If they worry about the box too much and ignore totems, devour is gonna win ya the game. Replace devour with Haunted if you don't want people to Cleanse their Plaything hex and stay oblivious for a longer time inwhich making it easier catching survivors out in the open.

He cant teleport to you until you solve the cube/begin to solve it

Yeah i like his design alot. But his gameplay is very bugged and unrefined atm. hope it gets changed when he goes live.
Yeah, let's hope behavior learned from past killers and fixed bugs before going live.

Hmm the old victor issue again just hold on to it but this one still lets you do gens
The chains will be summoned while holding the box so there's a big downside to it. Plus I believe the timer for the hunt resets while holding it so it is a ticking timer. Holding it still has the benefit of Pinhead not being able to pick it up but your at a heavy disadvantage while holding it and your team will get another hunt on them later on if you don't solve it and find it again.

@Sonzaishinai said:
Hmm could work wrllwith his iri addon that injures survivors if it indeed doesn't count as an offensive ability but i think it does.
They really need to change pwyf so you only lose tokens when a survivor takes damage
I'd think it wouldn't be offensive due to the game usually considering offensive actions being something that can damage survivors. That's why I'd think it wouldn't be considered one.
-
id run Corrupted intervention, Endearing, ruin/pop, and whispers.
for addons, Best bags you got and something to either place traps faster or darken them if youd like.
Start of the game, set up. While corrupt is active, you want to set up traps in bushes near by loops. (if indoor, block doorways or loops.)
if whispers is on, get ready to chase, have some traps on you and start hunting.
When you do find them, try to corral them towards your trapped areas so you can trap them.
If you know they are gonna drop pallet, respect the loop and place a trap right in front of it to shut down the loop and force them to run. Later on, you can cancel the set up and catch them in the open if they know your shutting the loop down, if they just dont drop it, run through the loop and catch them off guard. Your bound to end chases if you mix these up.
After hooking, grab some traps and force them off gens or make a trap zone again.
Rinse and repeat. If wispears is active, generally not safe to trap as someone may be watching and waiting to disarm your progress.
-
am curious too.

@Alphasoul05 said:
It's far more than that
1 - Shows you where your teammates are, thus allowing you to either sit on that gen, especially if it has Ruin, so someone else saves and you don't waste time running cross map. Though, if you're super far from them, technically you should sit on the gen anyway.
2 - It shows you if the killer walks in your direction after they hook a survivor.
3 - It shows you if they're camping
4 - It helps your team coordinate for you when you're hooked
But like Bond, well, when your teammate gets hooked you also get to see how useless your team may be being, forcing you to run cross map anyway because the Meg is crouched in a corner and the Claudette is hiding in a locker and you can't even see their aura
I think all of these fall under his first point
-
doctor works best for this due to his power being based on terror radius. avoid using on Deathstlinger, Huntress, and trickster due to naturally lower TR.
Legion can benefit for these too.
No idea for builds tho.
-
mirror myers ((or burger king (BK) Myers)) is a addon build, scratched mirror i think its called. it keeps myers at tier 1 and he can never advance but whenever he channels his power, he has wall hacks on all survivors no matter where they are on the map. so you have 0 terror radius, and wall hacks. problem is that you move the same speed as nurse, and you get no lunge distance. fun meme build.

Our memory is fuzzy af. She said tho the golden Freddy don't count. But yeah it is strange all these teasers are pointing to fnaf. Red herring maybe?! I guess we'll see. 👀
yeah, Golden wasnt a character from the restaurant from the first game, hes from a separate place but is basically a ghost.

@GenJockeyNance said:
Hm. I asked my sister who was a much bigger fan back in the day and she said if she recalled correctly, in the original Five Nights At Freddy's, there were 4 performers.
technically, foxy didnt perform on stage with the other 3, he kinda performed separate if we want to be technical. but yeah, still strange to drop 4 files but could of been done to lead us to think fnaf.
-
the purpose is to eliminate the time of carrying a survivor to a hook. If you know there are survivors nearby whether its for a flashlight save, body block, hook save, ect. This lets you hook them immediately to continue the chase. I usually run Infectious freight so i know whos nearby and if its good to cage rather than hook.
another is for the execution when survivor is on death hook for a quick mori kill.
Id recommend to only cage for the situation above since it can remove torment if there are more than one with the effect.
another good effect is that since it doesnt count as a hook, perks like BT, DS, and other perks that work with hooks dont work with cages. Same goes for the killer side too.

Holy #########
-
not chase music but it should remove terror radius for a short time after her teleport.
-
sounds like a rusted shackle/grandma's heart addon combo. prevents survivors from knowing when a trap is triggered and reduces the hags terror radius to 0 when a trap is triggered.
Or its a hack/bug.

Raise Hell, or Hellraiser? That's a negligible difference in letters.
either one. ive seen people say one or the other due to it being either one. who knows at this point

some think its saying "I Am Still Here" or "I always come back" for Springtrap or "Raise Hell" for Pin Head.

Don't want that either, imo. Spam and griefing I suppose.
youd rather the system we have now, no communication what so ever for solo q because people could spam? if its that much of a problem, we can have a timer between quick chats for individuals.

Hope in game chat never happens.
not in game chat specifically, more of quick chat options. kinda like what LoL and Smite have.
-
my go-to is Spine Chill, Stake Out, SB, and BT.
reasoning is that this build a general rounder so i can work in most situations. Spine chill to deal with stealth killers, Stake Out to rush on gens when i gain a good amount of stacks it can help out pretty nicely to save time. Sprint Burst to prolong chase to guarantee some time wasting for the killer or to get from point A to point B quickly, and Borrowed Time to allow me to go for saves more effectively.
Pretty nice all rounder build to adapt to most situations.
-
sadly there isnt a universal signal that was established.
kinda wished a quick chat feature was made.
-
the bugs. made it unplayable when resident evil dropped for 2 weeks. such wasted potential.
-
your terror radius is moved to the obsession so if you have no terror radius, you have nothing to give. at least thats how id see it.
