Since chapter came out I had only 3 normal games
The thing is I always have my usual ping but I can't play because of the lag. Survivors are teleporting, power is pushing me back when I hit a wall and etc.
I'm just sad :'[
Have you ran your own internet tests?

So you really think it's OK that brand new players will be facing 4000 hour veterans? As a gauge of skill? I'm just baffled by the idea that you think someone can pick up DBD today and by tomorrow be as good as someone who played since January.
It's not what they said at all. The fact of the matter is it's an unfortunate consequence of the system. However- it's designed to get you placed back into where you need to be quicker.
For example- I was a rank 20 killer after taking a 5 month break. I slaughtered like my first 10 games and was very quickly purple ranks. It's alot easier to pip and rank up between rank 20-10 then 10-1.

Go to the Cannibal's information page (by pressing F1 and scrolling along), does the teachable for BBQ still have the locked icon next to it?
If it does, either submit a bug report here or contact dbd support (preferably with proof that you've purchased bbq, and with consistent details such as account name and currency amounts).
It's not a bug, its luck.

Almost every killer can be undetectable. It's really not as strong as it used to be.

Yes! completely.

It's not about preference, I cannot play this game with your awful anti-aliasing solution because it causes me headaches. I won't be able to play your game until it's fixed.
Yeah, for me it's super disorienting.
-
Considering how disorienting the blur can be and the performance degradation on computers, why can't we have it toggleable?

That’s your eyes adjusting. Doesn’t mean it’s better than having it disabled, sadly. Plus, the low fps won’t go away.
No I literally have a FPS counter that tells me I get 15 extra FPS with it disabled.

How much FPS will it give if we disable the AA ?
Gave me around 15 extra and the game looks better.

Yeah, I don't know if it's intentional because they want to increase survivor visibility but it just looks awful.

It's really technical, but the ELI5 version is that games have files packed together. When you change one thing in that package, the whole package updates. Basically since this update changes a lot of different assets around the game, a lot of different packages need to be updated, so the update is larger.
Thanks for the answer! Appreciate it.

That's worth 7.5GB? Damn

It's gone up 5% when it really is needing a nerf.
It does the exact same thing pre-patch as it does post-patch. It hasn't changed anything. The more people bunched on a single gen, the better for the killer. Wouldn't you want people to bring it?
-
Also, I hate to be part of the "git gud" crowd...but seriously... don't take t-bagging personally and the better you get the less they can do.
-
How would you fix it? Or are you just going to complain without providing any solutions?
-
Try a different exhaustion perk if you don't like it, nobody is forcing you to use it.

Because you escape. The purpose of the ward is for if you die. "Burning this Offering grants you protection against the loss of your Item
and its Add-ons in the event you die"
You're wrong. It doesn't stipulate death anymore.
So I should be keeping them with a white ward.

If the killer can't see the beam of light, they shouldn't be blinded. Seems simple and like basic logic to me. I've literally stood behind killers and off to the side and still got flash light blinds off. That should not be happening.
A killer should not have to "guess" where they got blinded from when they're facing a wall and literally can't see any beam of light on their screen, but they get blinded anyways.
If that's going to be the case, increase killer FOV to proper match what they should be seeing, since apparently they are able blinded from behind the back-sides of their heads if their heads literally are not inside of a wall when picking a survivor up.
To that end, flash lights are still bug, both visually blinding killers faster than they should (the "blind" effect appears way faster than it's supposed to before they are actually fully blinded, impairing killer vision very fast), and killers are still getting stuck being permanently blinded until a survivor decides to graciously blind them again to reset it.
Been behind killers and get flashlight blinds? Pls send a video cus I don't believe it.
I think you're exaggerating a lot.

Do you know how much it costs the killer on high ranks to be blinded when picking up a survivor? If you are looking at the wall it should not be possible to blind you from any angle.
I'm sure it's not that simple unless you can show me a clip, "basically" against the wall means he left room. If theres room theres a way.
-
Boy if you think they're broken now you should've seen them prior to the updates.
Short pickup time, smaller window to blind, etc.
It's way better than it should be and can easily be avoided by mindgames. If you got blinded through the side you didnt look at the right spot properly.
Just be better next time, it's not that bad.

Alot of maps are dark with a lot of shadows, as no map takes place during normal hours. This may be why, although I never really focused on it.

Should his harpoon be capable of downing a survivor immediately upon contact if a survivor in the deep wounds state is hit?
Huntress can down survivors with her projectiles regardless of the context, but the deathslinger has to reel them in for a basic attack and even if the chain disconnects (which initially causes a wounded state) the survivors take no damage from it.
The difference is he can aim down sights and get easy hits where Huntress cannot.

Have you ever played killer? There's maybe 2 - 6 add-ons per killer that range from "meh" to "pretty good" with the rest being garbage. Killers also get a ton of useless offerings with some of them being harmful for the killer and beneficial for the survivors.
Yeah but the addons are easily replenished due to the lack of variety in their bloodweb.
Survivors have so much variety it's ridiculous they're burning our addons all the time.
-
@Peanits said:
It's part of the update. You'll now keep your item even if you use it up fully (it'll deactivate and be unusable for the rest of the match, though), but you'll lose your add-ons no matter what like killers. If you want to keep your add-ons, you can throw on Ace in the Hole.
People use maybe ~10 addons typically and the other 3 1/3 pages are garbage.

There is a very limited amount of killer addons, when the survivors go through their blood web there is so many that it shouldn't be thought of the same way.
They're flooded with useless key and map addons and only very rarely do you get the ones you want.

I feel like a schmuck for paying $10 for recolored cosmetics, but I did it so meh. However, if they want my next $10 they need to step it up.

I haven't experienced a single bug, I like the majority of the changes and I dig the new content. Well done.
The introduction of putting chapter trailers in place of the intro is a pretty neat little change. And the continued use of unique chase and terror radius music is awesome.
Also I love the lobby can it stay forever?
You must not have been hooked in the basement yet.

Stop asking for the risk to be mitigated for some of the most powerful killer perks in the game.
If killers go into a match without a Plan B in case a hex is cleansed within 30 seconds, that’s on them. Too bad.
Agreed. High risk but high reward is what hex totems are about.
-
I don't want this so your argument is invalid.
-
People love to pull out the "Oh its not hard to kill 4 people in the basement" BS when this is brought up.
1) You have to be a complete ass to do it cus theres no way youre doing it without being a cheap killer.
2) No one brings up do 4 generators with dark sense which is virtually impossible alone. Or save 3 people in one EGC
