All killers are fun until they play in certain ways that are deemed 'unfun' by survivors.

He should get a move where he nut kicks them both at once.
That and give him voice lines so he can rub some salt in the wound.

Well, that's the end of the happiness and enthusiasm.
It was good for the few hours it lasted.
Told you to not to keep your hopes up. Just uninstall this game bro please your life is far more worth than this. I'm not saying this to you to be mean but they don't care.
-
I mean yeah it's 4 survivors and 1 killer there are more chances to see toxic survivors than killers.

Because during the anniversary I want to see BP cakes 🎂
If everyone is getting tunneled and mori then the Killer gets the benefits of the survivors cakes without contributing.
Also, they could have gone to the regular queue if they wanted to bring a mori.
If the devs wanted to, they could limit offering to anniversary cakes only in the seperate gamemode but the same time, I agree with @Senile_Grandpa and @Seraphor
There shouldn't be a 'want' or a 'need' that's what grandpa exactly mentioned; privilege. Everyone should have the freedom to choose to bring their offerings regardless of how the match goes but quitting is not an option. If our ancestors quit, we wouldn't be sitting here playing this game.

Yeah, I guess I get what you're saying - it's a Bond for generators but it just lacks the consistency that a regular Bond gives. I don't think I've ever used the perk on my end, as I generally prefer perks like Empathy or Bond as they're much stronger.
I don't think your buff idea is bad, but I think Better Together needs a secondary effect as well. If not the gen progression, you could add an effect that makes the gens less quiet if two people are working on it - hence the name "Better Together".
You make sense. Your suggestion for an extra effect would be a nice touchup for this perk.

It seems that the problem of breakable walls is not unique here, in fact the map now spawns huge deadzones all over the place with many tiles lacking pallets or without anything at all, why it was not mentioned?
@Ayodam said:
Perhaps it is part of BHVR’s map rebalancing.

This has sadly been a trend in their rebalancing efforts: they tend to barely mention map changes of they mention them at all.
New, weaker tiles get added with no mention or they completely reworked (nerfed) tile weighting to put in more hills or dead zones instead of being able to tile chain.
Or it could just be a bug too. There are sometimes bugs with her maps that spawn too many times for a while until they fix it, so this could just be spawning too few.
I have asked them to killswitch this map and what aare they doing? Let me see. Oh, right the flashbangs and firecrackers are still bugged lmao

I think the problem with this perk is that no matter what you do to Better Together, I don't think it would ever be fully utilized unless it gave an upside for generator progression.
With your suggestion, I suppose it would be nice to see other survivors and vice versa but it competes with Bond that would always give you on demand information and it incentivizes grouping up, which is the worst thing a survivor can do.
Most of the time, you want to split up on gens unless you're running Prove Thyself — which this perk outright competes with and why not run Bond and Prove Thyself? I wouldn't even know what to do with Better Together, but I've always thought that Behavior needs to highlight gens in different colors as a Better Together generator aura is the same as a Trail of Torment gen.
It's not really much about grouping up but about giving the other survivors information if you're on that generator or not.
This buff will let the survivor give a lot of information. I give you some examples.
Survivor gets chased by a killer. The survivor sees the aura of you and the generator you repair. They now have the information to avoid bringing the killer to you but this also works vice versa. If the survivor is in a slippery slope and she's coming directly at you, you have the information to see her coming towards your generator in case if there is a loop nearby.
Injured survivors can come to you for a heal.
Survivors can see the last generator you repair on.
This perk can be used for good in a solo q team. I can see it not being used in a SWF though.

So if I get this right, when I repair a generator, my aura will be seen in blue by all survivors while I can see all the survivors aura? If so, that's actually a neat buff. I like it a lot.
Yes, so when you get on the generator, your character's aura is revealed in blue to all the other survivors. The generator that you repair is revealed in a silhouette, translucent yellow so everyone can see the generator that you're repairing but they can also see your aura through it so the generator aura doesn't obscure your blue aura. You, and the survivor that repair on the same generator with you, can see every survivor's aura when you repair a generator.

Survivors don't like him for some reason. I do hope he gets a buff despite the hate he gets.

100%, and I hate to be this way, but I have to believe that's either an outright lie or a gross exaggeration.
The absolute hyperbole about how unendurable solo queue play is makes my eyes roll all the way back in my head.
I play 90% of my survivor in solo queue, laying back on my couch with no headset, often playing paying only half attention because my wife is trying to show me cat videos or something, sometimes just mindlessly grinding for BP, and I escape like 30% of the time. Probably like 35-40% on days when I'm not half-assing it. And I'm not playing at top MMR (obvs), but I play against good killers most of the time.
And that's not some sort of stupid flex, I'm not that good and I don't really try all that hard. I'm just vibing on autopilot half the time. Survivor just isn't as bad as people are trying to make it out to be.
It's like "maybe if enough of us claim to literally never escape, BHVR will buff survivor a bunch", but the stats just don't jive with the "surv is impossible" narrative.
It's not a joke when I wrote this. I had survivors giving up, hiding, trolling, working with the killers, not repairing generators, griefing, being toxic, disconnecting. I had killers playing as sweaty as possible day and night. They were either smurfs, lowering MMR by using auto clickers or whatever method they used to bring themselves down a notch in the system, or a high MMR killer filled in the queue because the previous killer left the lobby, or killers using VPN a ping so high you have no chance to escape crazy hits. They slug for 4K, they tunnel and proxy but simultaneously patrol the gens. 3 genning.
No, soloq is miserable and I'm not exaggerating or lying. This is happening and I'm done with playing survivor.

They need to release DBD 2 already with a engine made from scratch.

It does not.
Lethal does work with Object because it extends the killer's aura reading on you from 3 seconds (which is timed) to 5 seconds. Since the killer can see you for 5 seconds, you then also see them for 5 seconds as well.
But you seeing the killer is not tied to any timer, it's only tied to however long the killer is able to see you. Since there technically is no set duration in this case, Eyes of Belmont does not extend it.
I believe this is the full list of perks Eyes of Belmont can interact with:
- Alert
- Babysitter
- Breakdown (its secondary effect)
- Dark Sense
- Eyes of Belmont (its other effect)
- Fogwise
- Hardened
- Inner Focus
- Scene Partner
- Strength in Shadows (its secondary effect)
- Troubleshooter
- Wicked (its secondary effect)
- Rancor (when the Killer's aura is shown to you after a gen is completed)
You just gave me a new survivor build.

They also removed them from the window class rooms, but breakable walls were an important balance factor there. Now those room are pretty bad.
Oh yeah I just played midwich and something was off about the rooms too. Thanks for telling me now you confirmed my suspicion

They discovered that the breakable walls were a failure, boring mechanic of the game.
'They' discovered? You mean BHVR? Where did they say that?
-
@buggybug said:
I think killers themselves want them gone but I could be wrong which I think its a positive as breakable walls I admit just hinders them more sometomes like one in midwitch by gate with the reception desk they are pretty force to break it.
Idk why woo still keeps them shown cause survivors cant interact with them yet tatics lost thst ability. Maybe its cause aura read is now on it so to not make too strong idk.
Didn't they just removed the 2 breakable walls from the bathroom area in Midwich?
Idk. The only maps that I really have a problem with breakable walls are forsaken boneyard and grave of glenvale.

I really didn't need to see that. I scrolled off the image to report it, and it popped up on the screen again as soon as I tried.
I have a question though. What's to stop that person from coming right back and doing it again? Can BHVR hardware ban people like that?

I unfortunately figured out what was happening the difficult way. It was a very scarring sight. I really don’t understand what makes trolls online think that THIS is the best use of their time. It’s just sad.

Sorry that this happened - we've switched off new accounts being able to join the forum temporarily, to ensure security.
It's frankly disgusting and that person (clearly a previous banned account), is not someone that should ever be allowed on the internet!
It's not as simple as not being able to post images unfortunately as there is very many ways to get around that (links etc), and then it would have to be for everyone not just new accounts (due to the forum set up which is out of our control to change).
Again our deepest apologies to everyone who was forced to see those imagines :(

Also sorry to everyone who had to see such images, as someone who has ptsd & seen my fair share of real life death I hope they never get back on this forum again otherwise i'll just be done with it myself.

If the game were as simple as just "constantly see survivors and know where to be" then the meta would consist of the top four aura perks. But go play any killer that isn't Nurse with such a build and you'll see why it isn't
It's funny when survivors are complaining about 4 aura perks meanwhile they use windows of opportunity or aura perks to see the killer.
