I'd say green or purple for survivor (never reached red ranks tho). The amount of claudettes who run to the corner of the map to self care, megs who only walk to not use sprint burst and jakes who sabotage hooks near you when doing a gen is unbearable bellow green ranks. For a killer I'd say purple rank. In red ranks you cannot learn new killers (survivors will trample you) and under purple ranks you either get SWF which is not different from red rank SWF, and the solos are claudettes, megs and jakes which do the things I mentioned in the survivor mini rant

Just because someone thinks a certain law is bad does not mean it is. Same applies to the rules. If you don't like the rules associated with the game make your own with your own set of rules. I'm not sure how well it would do with a player base that is allowed to exploit without any repercussions. A game like that would be pure chaos.
Idk, the most successful game (league of legends) is not punishing bug exploiters, the devs actually look forward to make people find and exploit bugs, so they can fix them.

This survivor found a fat shame spot on Lerys years ago. They stood there healing and it was impossible for me to catch them. I had no choice but to break off and chase the other 2 which I caught by sheer chance. Then this person got the hatch which was right next to the spot. This was before the EGC and closing the hatch.
This video is pretty dark because geforce's shadowplay doesn't upload to youtube very well -.-
This guy found a spot he could crawl on top of and it was impossible for me to pick him up. Every single time I got even close to this guy he would run to this spot. Eventually I used him as bait to injure everyone else. He died of blood loss after people stopped trying to heal him.
You think you should be allowed to abuse exploits and ruin someone's game because the devs haven't patched it yet? Your some kind of special and I don't mean that in a good way.
Yes I should because that motivates the devs to fix them faster and as Kirkylad said, apologize for letting a bug pass trough and ruin people's games.

Someone doesn't agree with me = they're insane.
Your logic is absolutely flawless.

Because Bhvr is providing a service and, like literally every business ever, they are allowed to create rules that customers must follow in order to continue using that service. This is pretty simple stuff, and I'm going to guess you know that.
Well I paid hard earned cash for this service and I DO intend to speak my mind about one of the rules which make no sense.

So should I be out here reporting every survivor who DCs for hatch? Cause that’s heavily abused and been in the game for years now.
I like your name. Is it a reference to D12's Purple Pills track?

Not a valid comparison for bugs are not the equivalents to real life laws, ingame rules are equivalen to real life laws.
And the ingame rule is very clear about exploiting bugs "While participating in the Game, you also agree to comply with certain rules of conduct that govern your use of the Game (“Rules of Conduct”), for example you may not: Exploit errors in design, features which are not documented, and/or bugs to gain access that would otherwise not be available or to obtain any competitive advantage." Read the EULA its crystal clear.
So by your logic I shouldn't use the needle and thread add-on because I know it boosts healing speed yet it's not documented so therefore I should get banned if I do dare to use it.

Because it's easier to ban you than fix the game.
Remember when forever mending legion was a thing and they banned people for using add ons in the game. What do you expect lol.
I'm glad there is one sane person who responded.

I didn't say that I did it, but I know many others did and I remember reading a post they made on steam discussions about knowing about people using modded saves and saying they were banning for it if caught or some thing or other. I do know that for certain at least some people realized they could save scum to avoid losing their offerings when people would rage dc or the killer would p2p boot them to troll or spite each other. That was a pretty big problem for a while in the original days when it was p2p.
I was talking about my situation...
-
I realised I didn't make any pool votes, and I can't find a way to add them... It would have been "I am crazy" vs "I am right" type of vote.

A safe assumption, people used to share saves in 2016 so it became something they banned over.
I guess talking openly on a forum isn't particularly discrete but if nobody knows...

You can’t reset any DbD account.
and you can’t directly link two Steam accounts via the BHVR Account.
i guess you could connect OldSteam account with a Stadia account so your progress is on zur Stadia account. Then unlink your OldSteam account. Then link your NewSteam account.
there are at least time restrictions there though, so you can’t do this in the span of a day. And OldSteam account will still have the progress.
edit: I Never tried this myself and am not 100 percent sure it works or if it works if it’s against any rules.
fine as well, but i guess that would be a duplication exploit.

Replace "husband" with "wife" (or vice-versa, if you think women can't be lumberjacks). Done.
Now you see, gay marriage wasn't a thing in the 30s.

So why does the Nurse get an explicit mention of her husband, yet non-heterosexuals are supposed to be content with characters who are not explicitly heterosexual and just pretend they're LGBT?
Because it was an easy plot to write? Husband lumberjack. Wife housewife. Husband dies. Wife has to get a job. Wife goes mad. The end. Try to write a plot this simple for lgbt.

BHVR had already announced they were going to be less exclusive, since they had had heterosexual lore in the game for years. Why would you respect them for going back on their word?
How do you know Kate isn't a lesbian? Oh right, you don't.
-
Bruh chill, the new LGBT survivor will be Hank Hill.
-
No offense, but if your condition doesn't allow you to play the game, don't play the game. Maybe try survivor for a bit... or play something else, for a week, try civilization or something.
-
There isn't something more satisfying than Deathslinger with fully stacked save the best for last. M1, shoot, reel, M1 again. No reaction time for the survivor.
-
I count any type of 4k as a win. It can be 3 people DCing and the last one being murdered with the yellow mori at 0 hooks. It's still a win in my book
-
Just because it's better doesn't mean it's good. Just like in school. Your class isn't the best because you or your classmates are smart. It's because the other classes have literal reetards.

As I have said before I think tunneling is fine to a certain extent. It's a strategy. The reason why survivor hate it I think is because it's the intention behind the strategy. Sometimes killers can tunnel a person for very petty reasons just to be toxic. I have been tunneled because I was playing claudette. Sure tunneling is fine but if your doing it just to be toxic then that's not ok.
Tunneling Claudettes is a viable counter to them turning into tall grass. Leave them alone one second and they're gone forever.

Prob not Easter. Maybe something on 4th of july. But probably nothing big till halloween
Yeah 4th of July seems plausible. Over 4 months though. TBH I mainly want Kate's leather jacket and pants for a stealthier look. White girl with jorts, exposed midriff and blonde hair isn't the stealthiest.
-
IDK a bigger counter to DS than nerfing it would be being able to choose killers in the lobby again.
-
well, the tome basically calls to abuse ds :P

Actually, it can be a true. But it will be more likely to a legendary skin for Nancy, I suppose...
Bruh no, it would actually be more a "sorry for the 4.5.0 update" thing imo to add her and Hopper as Nullclines suggested.
-
@Nullclines said:
She's one of my favourite characters, so it'd be great to see. Although, I think Hopper would fit in great with Bill, Tapp and the other older licensed survivors.
Hopper is my favorite character from that show but I didn't suggest him because he would have a perk where he fights with the killer, and it would be ridiculous to have that as a teachable on anybody else beside Tapp, Felix, David King and Ash lol.
-
Lmao nobody voted my troll/niche category
-
BT means more stacks for stbfl. Infectious fright allows you to slug the survivor with DS and go for another survivors. I know ranks don't really show skill up to a limit, but I wouldn't have reached red ranks this season if I was to eat DSs. You guys talk like you must eat the DS. I find part of being a skillful killer is successfully denying survivors to use it.
-
@EvanSnowWolf said:
No perk in the game should allow a Survivor to get away with absolutely any action without the Killer at risk of a 5-second stun in reprisal.
But you can slug. No need to pick them up right away. A particularly strong counter to it is infectious fright, especially if coupled with monitor and abuse.
-
I feel you guys are a little too biased (also proof I'm a killer main)...

I play solo :(

how mori are now the pink one should be basekit because not many will use it anyway because after 2 hook you might as well hook them the 3rd time also getting rid all 3 mori offering would free up the bloodweb as of right now there all useless.
Right? Getting another pop from hooking a survivor for the 3rd time has won me countless games.
-
Me rn:
-
Give the camped survivor points towards distracting the killer, as if looping.
Unless you are one of these 2 idiots, you can pull off 3 man escapes 100% of the time, with a decent chance to get a 4 man escape depending on how fast you finish all gens.
-
Making this game perform better will enable me to increase the render scale further. Right now I can hold 60fps at all times with my overclocked 980ti at 1080p with 133% render scale which is equal to 1440p in terms of requirements (actual 1080p, i modified the game config so it doesn't run at 850p or whatever it was running by default)
-
I play both, now based solely on queue times (short queue times for survivor in the morning, short queue times for killer in the evening). Though the tomes are what made me play survivor, I used to play killer only.

I see what you're getting at, but I specifically don't think these should be consistently useful. None of the other offerings impact a match in progress outside of really niche cases, so why should Moris be different?
Idk at this point it time I find moris even bellow bloodpoint offerings. Petrified oak I think is the strongest game changing offering imo.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
I think their Mori change was already perfect. Moris are offerings, and they should therefore be on par with things like Rotten Oaks, Murky Reagents, and Salty Lips in terms of strength. All of these can occasionally be helpful, but most of the time they're just small and inconsequential effects. That lines up perfectly with the new Mori, but the new Mori also has the benefit to make you 60k BPs from dailies, so it's essentially a super BPs add on too.
As of now they are in a state where hooking survivors for the 3rd time and using hook related perks is better than killing survivors. I do think at least giving the boosts of these perks when killing as well would bring an actual use to moris beside dailies.
-
@jrinkwater said:
I hate this entire idea. I agree there needs to be change, but NOT this one
well then come up with a better one
-
@AChaoticKiller said:
sooooooooo only DS is affected?
making mori's even worse?
no thanks. also they are not useless they bypass 1/3 of the save opportunity's from any perk or player and saves you time or you lose a extra second or 2 depending on hook location.
edit: also even if hook perks triggered the fact that this would not allow you to bypass saves would result in a overall nerf to mori's.
"After being unhooked" implies it would work as the old mori, but you would have to pick up the survivor before killing. How many survivors you had to hook twice before killing them vs how many survivors reached second hook state after hooking them once? It overall comes out as a hybrid between the old and the new Mori. As for the buff, that would apply only if the Moris stay the way they are now.

Not to make light of hacking, but why would a hacker risk even the slightest chance of getting caught and arrested, just to make your game crash. Not very a very rewarding crime.
Its far more likely that your game was encountering issues and then crashed. If your game is bugging out you could have connection interruptions that feel like lag, frame drops, then eventually the game stops responding.
I'd make a bug report.
Yeah I don't think getting arrested is a thing for them to worry about. The slightest chances of being brought to court are if the cheater and the victim are in the same country or state. None would go to another state, let alone cross borders to sue somebody over a video game. VPNs and setting your Steam location to Somalia and Uganda just makes it harder (I have 2 friends with those locations lmao)
-
I mean, there is no match history thing in this game.
