I read this whole conversation, and I have some thoughts.

    1. Why do you think slugging (which isn't against the rules and has no penalty) is comparable to disconnecting from the match (which is against the rules and does have a penalty)? I get that you don't like being slugged, but not liking something in the game doesn't make it comparable to something that is explicitly against the TOS of the game.

    2. Why are you so certain people playing against you in a video game want to "ruin your day"? No matter what side I play, or even what game, I promise I don't think about anyone I played with 30 seconds after the match is over unless they are such toxic pieces of ######### that they stand out. I just don't think the level of Animus exists that you seem to believe does in this game. The person playing killer is out to get your character, not you as a person.

    3. I replied to this post if yours specifically because it sounds like you didn't like how a discussion was going, so tried to talk ######### to someone in a private message only to find they disabled it. I'm hoping there's some other, less juvenile explanation, but I'm having serious difficulties thinking of one..

Where did I say it is comparable? I know I never did. Second do you think the person slugged is having fun as a killer? No there for you are ruining their fun which can ruin the day. The intent doesn't matter you are doing something you know does ruin a persons fun. I wanted to speak privately because I don't feel like this conversation needs to be read by everyone or even pushing this convo forward. Anything else you fell you need to know? Can I ask you why do you even need to stick your self into a conversation I ended with the person I was talking to because I felt like it was a waste of time to speak here? Why did you feel the need to talk in public about this when you could have messaged in private? Could it be that you wanted to be Juvenile are you are implying that I am?

I got 6/7 full pages of perks and not once I paid for a DLC.

I got them from the shrine of secrets and leveling up free to get characters.

To be fair we live in the world of I want it now with out doing anything for it.. Shrine of secrets is not the most reliable but can give you perks you need.. I use it for killer perks because the thought of going through the process of leveling all my killers like I did my survivors makes me just want to quit. I know they are thinking about the grind and will do something just hoping it is soon.

No different character name and everything. Last one was called James Sunderland I think. Have seen others before too.

Ah ok so as I said there are many skins that change the character to someone else James is one of Cheryl's many other skins. No cheating 😁.

  • What do you mean? I are talking about the different skins you can put on characters making them a different characters? Leon-Chris

Jill-Clair Cheryl- Like a few mil people.

Is this what you are talking about cause if so no they are not cheating. If you mean that they do not personally own a character to they are using them then sure they are cheating.

was playing with some friends from 7pm to 11pm and not ONE ESCAPE happen.

All our killers were High Tier players and most of them were blight and Nurse.

before we was escaping on and off but last night was one of the worst i experienced. i left to another game cause how hard and frustrating it is to go against such try hard killers when i want a casual type of gameplay.

whats your opinion on the MMR last if any of you played

My group has a wide range of skill from me who was a red rank 1 to a person who never made it past rank 15. We get an average of 3-4 games where 2-3 escape. MMR system is to basic and as such the middle ground is where casuals have to aim for. Being in the high MMR means you run into the many sweatlords that feel they must 4k. while low MMR is a cesspool of baby killers that feel like they have to get the 1k at least so they camp/tunnel (not that the sweatlords don't do this). Causal play on this game is very hard because you need to be in the middle and not to low or high. If MMR took into account more than just kill/escape it might be a good system but sadly it does not.

Your clearly wall-hacking, survivors wouldn’t possibly say that without good reason.

Lol you are absolutely correct talk about lowering the bar so you can feel good about yourself lol.

Wow great so you are literally the person who makes new players go the these killers are to hard and leave because a try hard can't play against survivors how are of the same level.

For any who wants to read how he lowered his rank to be able to do it here it is: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2899600#Comment_2899600

I even though the idea of showing you were better was kind of cool but guess it was just to be a jerk.

  • I agree with you I don't really care about pips because I know if I put on my sweat hat I can bang out the grades (often around the second weekend in reset I go I want that 1m bp from being a dirty survivor and go for it). The amount of times you see that the grade system is not a your rank but just the time you play is such a lie when you can still de-pip. It makes no sense because the pip system is from the old rank system that actually took into account your skill. The grade system is not time played it is a skill system and has been always been about skill. If they wanted it to reflect time played they would make it a specific amount of matches or actions that gives you the grade. If you load in and AFK you get no points toward your grade. If you D/C you get no progress. You have an amazing match and get out having done a lot you get bonus points. You get wrecked and had no chance to do anything you get pity points. You have an amazing match an stomp the survivors before the complete a gen you get bonus points. You get stomped by Clicky Clicky teabagging toxic bully swfs you get pity points and move on. The MMR system= no skill the grade system= skill not time lol this is ridiculous.

As survivors lose, more and more of what they can dob you start to create a game that everybody suffers. Firstly survivors suffer as they lose a strategy of playing the game. Its already hard enough with the maps being shrunk, but the hooks not being decreased to compensate, but you want to remove this ability completely? You are removing potential strategies that make a game unpredictable.

Even worse however is how killers are negatively impacted. As survivors have lost potential strategies, there is only one way to play DBD. To do generators as fast as possible. Toolboxes and keys have both been crippled and as a result, its actually quite time wasteful to bother looting chests. As hook sabo has become harder, far less people bother. Its these ideas that have forced survivors to focus solely on generators and your idea that you should take more from them will only make it worse. Survivors need more strategies available to them, not less.

Are maps shrinking? I thought they were getting bigger. I do agree that many items have either been nerfed to be useless keys are completely useless in my eyes as I rarely actively try to escape the hatch and almost never have a key to do so. Subo the hooks is pointless and even putting on petrified oak (I think that is the survivor one) is useless. One of my friend who played at launch wanted to run a sabo build my friends and I all took sabo, tool boxs, break out and boil over and the offering to spread hooks out and it meant absolutely nothing. I love watching killer streamers who get into a chase with one person that last a few minutes and three gens pop and they go "oh look at the gen rushers" to which I always think no you haven't pressured a single one of their gens and they have nothing else to do. 99% of the time survivors lose because they do things like body block or farm the person off the hook. Even if you get the 1 hook if two survivors went to gens and the third got the person off then the game would most likely be won. Camping and tunneling are a strat and body blcoking is as well. If you don't like these strats wait for the next one because you take one someone will find another that is equal or worse.

  • My biggest issue with deathslinger (gunguy) is that his terror radius is very small and he is a ranged killer. I know that his harpoon does not insta down though he does have an add-on to expose a survivor. Now my main reason for saying no is that this is not a shooter game. Huntress and Trickster both annoy the heck out of survivors because they are able to hit from so far away (once you know the counters they are annoying not hard) and often when you see ranged killer people D/C or just give up. Both of them have a load time that means they can not just start range attack right away so why would gunguy be given this? If you want to play a killer with a range power then take the slower movement and load time because that gives a little balance.

Oh I forgot the Artist... Never see her so I forgot she does a shot. I don't know anything about her really she just fell into useless cannon I guess.

  • No sorry but they should not be given more info than they have and as swfs are not talking in game they can't force the other players to let the killer in to listen and know everything. Sorry but swfs have an advantage if you can't deal with it don't play killer.

  • I mean sure but your team is only as good as the weak link. I know that if the killer picks me as long as they decide to chase me I can make it 3-4 gens if not 5. If they go for one of my friends she is going down in 5 seconds. She is not able to loop to save her life (literally in game). It all depends really. I am more interested in my friends telling me they dropped a pallet then them telling me where to killer is because when I run to a tile thinking it would have a pallet to play with and doesn't that gets me killed more.

  • Honestly the reason the grade system does better at matching players is because they are actually skill based. To pip you need to do enough to get the pip. If you are a potato you don't keep going up. I personally feel like the grade system has turned into a bp farm should as the devs like to say be about how much you play. No skill needed you just get points for playing (actually have to move and play and not just afk). The MMR system needs to take more into consideration then just kill or escape. The survivor who looped a killer for 4-5 gens and gets face camped showed more skill then the three that touched gens and opened the door.

  • @Sepex said:

Who actually plays today with a year 4 or 5 crown equipped.

Depends on my survivor I am playing. If we are taking my main Min nah I need to wear my red coat to look like the angry player I am. Kate or Dweeb are the two I most def use my crowns on.

  • No 24m is fine and I use CoH all the time so I am not saying this as killer main. The problem honestly was never the range its that its an AoE perk that gives everyone the perks not just one person so if I bring CoH and Shadow Step then everyone can have 6 perks instead of 4.

Killers job is to get people dead. When the gens are done has nothing to do with it. The game has end-game builds for a reason.

legit one of the emblems is to prevent gens from being done so your right... oh wait no reward bad play cause you have an end game build cause you can't get it done during normal game. Adrenaline only comes into play when survivors are done their objective again these two perks are not the same. One is for trash and the other is for completing the objective. Gatekeeper emblem if you are interested in reading about how part of your job is to prevent gens from being done.

  • @DrDeepwound said:

    If noed goes, adrenaline goes.

NOED rewards a killer for not getting everyone dead before doing the gens which is their objective. After the last gen it become stopping them from leaving. Adrenaline rewards a survivor for getting all the gens done. They are not the same thing.

  • I believe there is decay but the perks you are talking about are 100% meta and you are going to see them no matter what. Even new players are suggested to run these perks and as DH and SB are both on free survivors they will often get them. DS is one that many will also rush out to get. These perks are going to be everywhere because they are often the only defense survivors have against the camping and tunneling killers.

Basically the whole idea is all survivors suffer a 1000% penalty to repairing gens until the first survivor was hooked. The penalty will pause when a chase happens but when a chase ends it continues

ok but killer has 1000% movement reduction and can't use their power till at least 4 different hooks. Lol if you have no map pressure because the map is either to big or you just have to commit to the first survivor that is on you. I am so tired of seeing the argument of gen rushing when three gens pop in the first chase. If you are not stopping the three other survivors off the gens then you are going to lose them. There is literally nothing else for me as a survivor to do if no ones on a hook other then tickle the gen. They need to fix maps not gens. Even slower gen speed if all of the survivors are on different gens your most likely going to lose 3 gens fast. 1000% penalty to repairing makes 0 sense because you punishing the survivor for doing the one and only task they have.

  • Meh NOED is annoying but w/e get your kill cause you played like trash. I don't use DH so I wouldn't miss it. Honestly you take both out or even on the other side will cry. If they both go you are going to have both side set their crying eyes on another perk.

    well... :

1 huge amount of toxicity NOT PUNISHED (and please for whoever say that devs take those kind of things seriously, i still have at least 10 tickects open from at least 2 months still unresolved so...)

2 increase waves of cheaters and subdle speedhackers (i've them at least one of those every 3 matches done)

3 EXTREME UNBALANCE (for having the slightest hope for winning or to get enough points as killer you have to play the meta, while solo survivor sucks but not for the killer for being strong, but for your teammates for being giant flaming hoes most of the times)

4 no variety (i don't remember the last time that i saw a killer picking perks like dark devotion or forced penance and survivor picking off the record or calm spirit)

    5 HUGE grind

    6 too many crutch perks

What are you reporting that is toxic? End game chat? Cause if its they looped me flashlighted me clicked at me or teabagged me they aren't going to do anything. To my knowledge things that are "toxic" are not reportable they are just annoying and as long as they are not abusing a bug they won't do anything cause there is legit nothing to do....

judging by the fact that, you can not cheat on console, i doubt it. there have been instances of pc getting in console games but cheats are obtainable through console. the most that can happen is modded accounts carried through cross progression or last gen to next gen

I guess and its not out of the realm of possible that they messaged just on PSN even though they weren't but it is possible to cheat on console just harder and often has harsher punishment.

  • @slunder said:

Yes, we get it, there are some startegies or builds that you do not like to go against. But if dbd is lacking in fun to the point where you just dc, why are you even in this game in the first place? I am sure that you could find a game that is fun for you and would not require you to leave. You do not need to ruin 4 people's game.

If they decide to D/C it sucks just move on they have their time out. Personally if I don't want to play a specific build or strategy and I am solo I am just killing my on hook to move on. If you have a problem with me doing this because it will have the same effect as D/Cing then sucks but I will continue to do it cause I am here for my fun not yours and if I hate a killer build or they are camping/tunneling I am out cause that is boring. I may even just flip to a different game till I feel like I want to try again.

  • You are right. One way to try and get players to play killer is they upped the BPs you can earn though when you run into a team that is just amazing your lucking if you get the same or even a little more than the survivors. If you are playing in a four man SWF everyone putting on Bloody streamers can usually help a little. Another is looking at perks that give bonus BPs such as we are going to farm forever (opps I mean we are going to live forever) and Prove thy self for working with others. Other then using a BP multiplier there is no really way to get more bps beside buying teachable perks you already have off the shrine of secrets.

  • Yes cheating is possible on consol. Cheating on any platform is possible it just varies by how much cheating is going on it. Playstation and Xbox are harder to cheat on and are less likely to have people cheating; key word less likely. Please think for a moment on the number of players on a console you have run into that actually cheated and you would prob only have 1 or 2 fingers up while counting the number on pc would be far greater because it is easier on that system. This is blowing this out as some massive problem on console. You reported them Sony will destroy them and you will never have to see them again. You can click the little button that says block and stop them from speaking to you.

  • Sur: Min or Elodie cause I love their look.

Killer: trickster because hot and Oni cause also hot (lol)

  • @Exxodus21 said:

No, I think they'll make some sort of change.

What frustrated me though, other than the lack of communication from BHVR, is they won't make any changed to the grind now. They say they won't change anything or increase BP gains because it would just be a band-aid fix. But that's literally what band-aids are for. It's a temporary measure to help something before a permanent solution takes over. There a lots of things they could do for now, but they choose to do nothing.

I 100% agree with you. I get not changing the perks so there are no tiers as I imagine this would take a lot considering how ingrained they are in the system. I feel like even just giving more benefits to get p3 on a character for now would feel fine. I have build my Min and I am pumping bp into her to get more items because even though I want to continue to p3 all my survivors and get all the perks I am just so far behind and with a new survivor possibly coming in about 2 months that means for all the characters I have p3 and all perks on I have to pump into them (I have 9 done so far). Even just making party streamers a brown again for the time being a so that they spawn in webs way more would help a lot with the grind.

  • In my Opinion its the grade system that creates more of a grind as a whole. By this I mean the fact that it is a skill based system that every time you see a BHVR person talk about it on the forums says its time played. I don't mind playing the game and even grinding but when you get to iri in grade it becomes its own grind to get to 1. If they want the grade system to truly be a time played they need to change the way that you gain grades because time played with a skill system does not always equate the same thing. I am saying this as a Rank 1 survivor and a Grade 1 survivor. Killer I have never managed to get past red 4 nor do I really try. The fact that I go from Iri 1 to ash 4 makes it a huge grind to get to Iri 1 every month which is just adds to the over all grind of the game (looking at you bloodweb).

Everything else is balance and feeling like you should always win.

The killers leaving trend isn't stopping though.

The cheaters, the bad MMR, the unbreakable boons ... way too many things to make the game frustrating. (Boons were the last drop for me)

Man if boons are that last drop for you that sucks but like boons aren't going anywhere and honestly they shouldn't be that big of a deal. 99% you hit a survivor and they go running toward the boon you now have a reason to follow them and will know where it is. As for the bullying a new player I don't think he was really bullying the killer. The killer blocked the pallet but was still afraid of getting hit. Him stepping in the trap was himself doing it. JRM wasn't even trying to get him to until he had done it 2 times. Is JRM a good looper yup. Does he look for the killer yes like all streamers do because sitting doing gens in not good streaming content. I get match to odd baby killer and if they over commit to me my team can easily bang out 5 gens. I am not trying to bully the killer I am simply playing the game and looping them. You got to learn to just roll with the punches in this game.

  • Honestly I don't think this is a bug because when a character is injured they don't make breathing noises. I think they simply never added the breathing noise to a survivor who are injured. I think they just need to add it but have never bothered

  • @SuzuKR said:

Yeah no. No one except the last person alive should ever have a chance for hatch. Escaping before all gens are done is awful design and punishes the killer for playing well/rewards survivors for failing their objective or getting 3-genned (which is their fault). The only other fair compromise is once every single generator is done.

Cry more lol it is already gone to useless.

I don't think we need the hatch back as it was before but there maybe a need to revisit how the hatch works because most survivors think it is useless. Honestly I always take stock of the doors and if its not a super speed killer I will often wait need a door to hit it. Cause the number of times I have had a killer stand on top of a hatch to wait for me to appear is insane. If they are just hard camping the hatch and there is only one gen left I'll try to go to a gen close to a door get it done get the light to come on and run to the far door and get it open. Seeing the sad look on the killers face as the realize they got played is great.

I mean...It literally IS a get good thing. I can't name the last time I missed a DS check. Its not that hard.

Good for you I am assuming you are a brand new player who may still struggle with normal... oh wait you aren't lol get out of here. 0% interested in anything you have to say now on this. New players haven't had as much time to prefect it as older players have. I am against making it bigger but the fact remains that yes it is get good but your response does not help at all.

  • Can't wait to see the git goot messages and what ever else toxic to come. I personally don't think you need to change the skill check. It takes practice and if you haven't used it in a while you might get out of practice. At higher MMRs they assume you have it and just leave you slugged for the duration. This perk only really delays the tunnel not stop it. If they really wanted to do something about camping and tunneling they would have. My best suggestion is get him to not do anything until someone is in chase till he gets more comfortable with it. Dying at the start sucks but Kate is another good survivor for WoO for learning tiles for loops. I hope you two can get past this frustrating and toxic trash.

  • Lol I feel like you are saying this cause you think we are bad.

  • @GannTM said:

Whatever, no matter what we do it’s a lose lose. People think she’s trash now and so no one except for me and like 6 other people actually play her, so that’s just depressing. If we buff her in this way we will for certain go back to the good ole “nerf Spirit” threads that I’ve gotten sick of. No matter what, there’s just division in the community based off her position.

I actually liked facing the old spirit because as strong as she was just like the nurse there is such a satisfaction of stomping a really good one (equally getting stomped). Now I see her I go cool easy win in coming. Love the ones who try to use the good all stand still and wait for survivor to move. Now to counter her mind game when they stand still to make it look like they are phasing is to stand and wait because unless you hear the sound she is not phasing. I honestly hate the nerf they gave her because even as strong as she was she required skill and patience to play effective.

They need to balance her again because even when she was at her strongest she was at least still had to follow her the rules of the game and did not just ignore all the games mechanics.

  • I mean the number of times I have sacrificed my self so others could get out suggests I am bad. The number of survivors who are lower grade then me (Iri 1 mid reset usually) and them being ash and telling me I'm trash is astonishing. The fact that you can't see MMR and don't know that Grade does not = your real rank makes it even harder. Love the messages from the teammate who legit touched a gen for a second get down in 5 secs of a chase that messages me. I just send them video clips of their chase and my chase that lasted a full 2 gens they usually return to the wood work because they release the are not as good as they think.

  • Nah I'm pretty empty headed and honestly I only ever think of ways that would benefit me and me alone unless someone else is asking. (I.E I don't think killers should be able to hit me in the first 5 mins of the game. I should be given at least 3 hooks as killer in the first 30 seconds of the game lol😂). If someone make a suggestion I can often think of true balance while also trying to be fair.

  • As a survivor I hate this idea cause the pain! As a person for fairness I agree these hooks need to have some space out and placed a little fairer.

  • Stupid question but does the killer only have two endorsements to give a week or a match?

I don't think this type of system would work well as many killers say that having a flashlight is toxic. Running and looping well (not tbagging or clicking in this chase) is toxic and would not give out any points.

Survivors would be even more toxic and not bother giving the killers any points because they dared to load in as the inferior race of killer (jokes). Serious though killer didn't kill me they are toxic trash, killer killed me they are toxic trash and I didn't have fun because of x they are toxic trash. This community is so toxic toward each other they would not bother giving the other side and BPs cause no helping the other side.

The worst part about this is the fact, that this wraith got 3 kills. So… from BHVR’s point of view, that player needs to be placed in a higher MMR bracket… and we need to nerf wraith, again.

Oh I never even thought of that they just got kills and we all know kills=Skill oh now I feel even worse for this new player.

Since I only play 1 aspect perk build. As Deception for Locker focus perk build, Appraisal for Chest focus perk build. Both of those perk builds are really fun to play.

Power struggle is useless in solo though.

I rarely use lockers or run a locker build (miss head on 99% of the time). Chest builds I find are only viable if you are in a SWF. Both of these builds have their uses but I just feel like over all these two perks are useless in many situations though deception less so. Power struggle is a struggle because its just not good in almost any situation.

  • 14 minute chase after my friend died. Spent 14mins in chase looking for that hatch and could not find it. It was against a Hilly Billy and he finally downed me and took me to the hatch and let me out. We talked afterwards and he couldn't get over how well I looped him when I was the first downed (tinkerer + the add-on no sound chainsaw) it was also the most fun I have ever had in a chase because I some how played it perfectly until I ran into an dead zone.

  • I had a baby wraith who could not uncloak. I pallet stunned him so he could get out but even standing still he would miss most attacks. It was painful to watch as my teammates who were obviously closer to my game play (I am an average survivor who gets Iri 1) start to bully this wraith and not bothering to even try to finish gens. I finished the last four gens and opened the gate. The three of them got slugged by NOED and hooked and I left them there. Karama and all that lol. I agree even having a new player on the MMR system means they can get placed with us who is not new is just unfair.

I'm actually surprised Deception is used so little. I'm also surprised Power Struggle isn't lower.

Power struggle is tided to a challenge I believe in which a player has to drop a pallet to get off a killers shoulder them self (it was not easy to get pre buff to the perk).

  • He is new and he is a survivor you have to pay real money. Honesty two of his perks are boarder line useless. The boon is not good Speed boost is cool but not enough. The one that lets the injured survivor see use it complete useless like I don't want a survivor bring the killer to me cause they are that type of player. Parental guardian is good with DS as an added anti tunnel because no grunts of pain, no scratch marks and no pools of blood and if you break line of sight you are gone. I don't think he should be included just yet because he in new and behind a pay wall. Give Yoichi a chance before we lower him down.

  • Ah the sleeping Joker your perks are bad.

For me its Elide. I love her design but lets think about how often you use deception or appraise. Then there is Power struggle that is 100% almost always useless because you don't get enough wiggle and have the killer walk through a pallet. It happens and I know but its so inconsistent you are better off not using the trash.

  • I said yes mainly because though I agree with the idea that if a nurse doesn't blink she wont hit but fact the the legion can have starstruck too just like her and he can use his power while you are exposed and not get any value from the hit because it does not count for starstruck. The nurse on the other hand can have starstruck hook and port to someone exposed hit them with a blink and get value. Honestly I think most player blow her out of portion because though she is good most can't play at a high level. It is the same idea as I personally find playing against the clown hard because I never see him and I forget how to loop him well. Is he really that OP? Nah does he need a nerf? Yes I hate constantly screaming (DR you too). Am I joking about nerfing these two yes.

When downing all Survivors who are overly confident within 6 or 7 minutes of the game starting and you 1 hook them...you also lose a pip.... I got them all... I played the role and I won.. Quite efficiently I might add... Why TF did I DE-PIP????

Yeah that is trash lol I feel like killers who are good enough to do this should pip I get your not maxing out chase but like if they are a full team of potatoes as this would suggest you shouldn't be punished 😂.

I just have a problem with a skill based system being the deciding factor for a system that's supposed to equal time played. That makes no sense. I've seen a lot of people play this game non stop for 2 weeks straight and they have nothing to show for it. They started at iri 4, they're decent survivors or killers, but with the randomness that can happen from match to match they might pip a couple matches, and then either safety or depip the following matches. Even though they played pretty well, they just died in the end. They play in a swf too, refuse to play solos. Everyone runs DS and BT, still the same result. Because in order to get to that iri 1 you have to play pretty well consistently, which means escaping or 4king more than just that 50% average. Because if you escape half the time and get tunneled out the other half, it's going to just cancel out both sides and you're left in the same position. But that's what behavior wants in matchmaking right? Average of two kills/escapes, or winning around 50%. It just simply doesn't make sense.

So you end up playing, but not getting rewarded for playing which is what grades is supposed to do. I get that it's easy to say well if you just play enough it'll happen. But that's not the case all the time. Sometimes you can play a ton but due to the mix of good matches and bad matches, you get nowhere. Your time invested into the game goes unrewarded.

When it was transitioned from judging skill to being time played, the skill based system should've been Reworked into something that actually calculated time played, and there's tons of existing systems out there to choose from that could be applied to DBD.

Heck a simple point bar where you get points for actions in game that fills up as you play. When it's full you go up a grade. The more you do the more points you get, the faster it goes up. If you join and do nothing you get nothing. Or even doing like other games where if you're afk for 5 minutes you auto disconnect. Maybe give a base amount to players but the only way to get it is to actually interact with an objective. Or make it to where if you have crows over your head you get no points until you move again. So people can't just join and afk to gain points. All of these options would make more sense than, grades=time played if you play well enough CONSISTENTLY

Amazingly stated and honestly love the idea of a meter that fills though I would rather not have it visible through out the match because I would end up fixating on it. Honestly the old rank system made sense before MMR but now its a BP farm and should not be treated the same. At least you can't de-rank cause that was pain when you could go from Iri 1 to 5 or lower because of bad matches but at least there was no BPs at risk. The grind is real and if you want all characters maxed your nuts (says someone done p3 and getting all perks on almost all survivors so far).

For those who are curious: Swivel hooks were added in 2017 to stop killers from facecamping. Before that patch, killers could literally go face to face with you on the hook and no one could unhook, THAT is what facecamping is/was. After that, they started calling everything facecamping.

    https://deadbydaylight.fandom.com/wiki/Patch_Notes_1.8.X#Patch_1.8.0

I call facecamping when you face to face with me. I legit had no idea about Swivel hooks I understand that facecamping was used to stop players from getting the save. Proxy camping is more annoying to me because they are either proxy camping to 1) tunnel or 2) go for the savior or 3) all of the above. Honestly I find the current grade system frustrating because both sides just seem to be so angry about their pips.

  • Killer Ballerina (understudy) : Her mori is to dance on your back breaking it then springing up to crush your head. She could a have a leap ability similar to victor but with the ability to clear vaults (pallets she would land on them breaking them).

She would be brought into the fog because she attempted to become the lead by any means. The leave of her desire impresses the Entity and it see the possibility. The map would be a theatre and would have a stage and dressing rooms. The Ballerina survivor (the lead) would be her counter part and would be brought into the entity because she fought back against the understudy and so they are in an eternal rivalry.

  • I get the idea and think if you are going to stop it for this honestly where grades are simply a BP farm now de-piping makes no sense because these are no longer used to tell who you are to play with. To the point that you didn't do enough to pip or safety pip that's so dumb what if its a high mobility killer with lethal and you happen to be the one they pick? This game is so competitive and uncompetitive at the same time. For people like me who cap at gold (between 4-2 depending how hard I try) on killer but can easily skate into Iri 1as survivor I know I can get the 1m BP from survivor. If they really want to encourage players to go and play the other side I would be more willing if the grades were easier because the challenges might get me to play for a few trials and the dailies are trashed till a survivor one pops.
