In most cases you gain as much as you lose, and he is the only stealth Killer without second ability. Myers can go full assault mode with higher stats and instadowns out of nothing if stacked, Pig can dash and use RBTs.
Shape's the only good stealth Killer. Pig is garbage as #########, RBTs are just RNG and the ambush is useless.
But I do think built-in Windstorm will help him. Right now, they fixed it this patch where you do not make noise uncloaking til you ring the bell, so I think it'll be a great addition. I never use cloak in chase except to catch up anyways.

Survivors never say gg to me when they lose, it's hilarious.
But if I get dumpstered of course they'll said it, and if I do, I still say gg.
Those Survivors just seem like bad sports to me.

I see terrible Survivor streamers like Jen and Tofu complain on stream today, and just wow.
It is a perk to counter one thing they have.
Don't use flashlights, and he now has 3 perks.
Either way, the pickup was a great change, I like it as both sides.

I mean to further prove my point, look at all of the complaints about the pick up speed. A nice QOL change to help the Killer save some time that he DESPERATELY needs turned into "WAHHH FLASH SAVES TOO HARD" which a dev responded telling them to learn the ######### timing.
They don't want to learn, they want it easymode. I can still pull flash saves which they then respond to "nah killer was just bad ecks dee"

I mean all forums are subject to this. The game is split, because while Killer players want the game to be balanced and complain about real issues, Survivors say nope Survivor is hard and Killer is easy while also complaining about the TINIEST of nerfs.

Even addonless I've been doing really well.

A perk that can be broken before it ever actually sees use, and the only way this perk actually works is if you play like an idiot. Get the totems before you power the last generator, if not, at best one person is going to die from it unless you play badly.

This is not about flashlights. This is about Killer perks being dogshit in comparison to Survivors, and Survivors don't even need to run perks to win.
No Killer perk is a crutch, I've never seen Survivor perks have a hardcounter that prevent them from being used entirely. All Killer perks can be countered to some degree.

I don't like the idea of buffing traps because they're an RNG mechanic. It's bad enough getting two thrown on your head when you luckily get the first one off, but having them come back is just.. no.
I hate RNG. I would more buff her ambush to not be trash instead.

Yeah, I gotta say, this has been the best patch the game has ever gotten, and I love the way the devs and mods are standing their ground to the backlash from Survivors. Especially the review bombing. I'm glad the game's going in a great direction, so just keep it up and the game's going to get a lot better.
I actually have so much fun playing now too. There's still balance problems but I can live happy with the way the devs are handling things now. Much luff.

I've had great success vs. him with it so far. Not all Docs run Restraint either, and it was always easy to counter that. As Roach said, you can run into hallucinations to get rid of them.
