Oh god relax guys. hahahah. Everybody is immediately offended when i wrote this nonsense joke about pixels....jeez people have so thin skin these days. Wish you all a great day

No one is gay or straight or bisexual in this game. They are pixels...

Title. Anyone else like talk as if they're streaming and narrate stuff outloud while they play? Like "Oh man she did xyz I didn't see that coming." or "Oh ha caught her." or like "Oh he's gonna run me here so he can do xyz."? I catch myself doing it a lot and it adds to my entertainment for some reason
Nah, i stay calmer when i dont speak to myself. I stay silent, otherwise im starting to insult myself. lol

Shadowborn could also work as basekit.
To get blinded easier? Nah, for newer players horrorible.

Hey there,
- i totally agree. The game is imo more fun this way for everyone but it should have at least some kind of ranking system like before mmr.
- i dont think this is a problem. i mean at least you see as a killer the survs before the game. its balanced
- i am not a streamer so i dont have a opinion on that
- mmmh sometimes its the thrill when places are dark. i dont know about the brightness. Everyone would higher the brightness and the game will lose some action or jumpscares. For performance i like the idea.
- Kindred as basekit....i dont know...you mean just when you play solo? I dont think that would work.
-
Racism, death wishes and other disgusting behaviour. Someone asked a ukranian killer, if he dont have to fight a war instead of tunnling and camping people in dbd.
-
I liked it very much. I had some sweaty rounds but enough good rounds. Yeah some were too Easy, but it felt more fun then the whole mmr time. I mean no one asked for mmr.
-
I mean ban someone for this is stupid. That doesnt make sense. Its a annoying playstyle. Thats it. I would never ever play Bubba like that, because that is so lame and boring and you get much less BP. Yeah you destroy the game for others, but punish with doing gens if possible. And if he wins...gl next. Better matches are waiting.

And that answer is wrong!
The devs have communicated it MULTIPLE times, that they are going to review/adjust the more recent killers in mid-chapter patches. They have done so with Twins in the last mid-chapter patch, they doing it now with Trickster, and they will do so with Nemesis in the next mid-chapter patch after this one.
Of course they should give Trapper some love as well, no one in their right mind would deny that. But this trickster review/buff was planned right from his release, you could say. So it's got nothgin to do with Trickster being a killer to buy (which is also a silly argument, since you can get him with shards, so you do not have to pay a single cent).
Okay good argument. That makes sense. Mmmh okay then the only question is, do they ever give trapper a buff....lets wait and hope
-
Ehm none...i dont want Disney with their dirty hands in this game. But i also think dbd and Marvel chracters dont match.
-
I can really imagine These days that they nerf Pop to 20% or something. This is more fun from me than serious....wait or not? Oh my gaaaaaaaaaaad
-
Damn ok that is a very simple and obvious answer. I think my question is answered.
-
I will never use Noed. The best feeling is to down survivors when gens are still up or you get all before they can escape. And all done with the normal skills of the Killer you play, without Noed.
-
I would rather make a 2 week vacation on coldwind Farm then spend one Minute more in Haddonfield.
-
As a Killer i must have Pop. Only on trapper i run Surge instead. Without Gen defence im highly struggling. Maybe someday im good enough for a fun build.
As for survivor i run botany aswell and bt the most time. My exhaustion perks change every once and a while.
-
I dont play when im sleepy. But i do drink wine and play....to a certain point. I always play, when i feel dizzy, deathslinger.
When my shots are way off, i stop playing. A drunk Cowboy is just to much of a cliche.
-
Hey man. Nice to see someone actually sees the difficulty in higher Ranks for killers. But many surv mains will say:" maybe you have to practice more", or " youre just not good enough "
I have the same Problem buddy. Its just luck which survs you get in the Lobby.
-
I really dont have an alternative. I hated playing multiplayer games like BF or Call of Duty. Or this trash like Fifa or other sport game with pay2win. Dbd is unique and thats why I will play this game for a long time.
....and yeah i also have spend to much money to quit it.😂
-
Mainly Otz. He has a being that i like and he is educantional.
Sometimes True, because i like that he blame the game or dead hard for his missplays sometimes. But he is fine at all.
Oh Tofu is great, but he is american and i live in germany, so i dont have much time to see his streams.

Oh man i just realized we are machoist.

3 gen defence is actually pretty strong with trapper. Of course he is no tournament killer, but you can play good with him, even when the survivors arent potatoes.

Exactly. High performance of gameplay are balanced toward survivors and only a few killers can handle the best premades (spirit, nurse, blight...).
BUT.....if we talk about Solo Q.... Solo Q is hell and it´s totally killer-sided.
I agree with solo. But how can that be fixed, without changing the game completely?

The thing is the statistics are heavily favored for killer. Every killer has above a 50% kill rate and the majority have like 65% and up. I don't think this is because killers are OP (I think a few are) but because the matchmaking is really bad and it always matches good killers against bad survivors.
Yeah thats actually what i meant. Matchmaking is bad, but i think that killers to survs are balanced not the complete game for itself.
-

Sample size of 1 is not conducive to anything is it?
*sigh* sorry for not making an offical statistic about it. But most of the people i saw on yt or my friends are for the most part my opinion. But what do you think? Killers op? Or wrong matchmaking?
-
@van9684 said:
I see a lot of complaining on here about how awful and difficult it is to play killer, how unfair the game is, yet most of you are killer mains. So why is that?
I played killer only for a long time and it was just too easy. After that initial learning of the game, I never had to get better or develop new skill so I switched to survivor. I also like the teamwork aspect. So, why do you continue to play killer if it’s so bad and makes you angry?
For my expirience its a balanced gameplay. Just a broken matchmaking. But i dont complain. I have my Kills and i have losses.
-
@ShinobuSK said:
In my opinion the game is fairly balanced right now and neither survivor or killer is OP.
What we need now is the better matchmaking to see how balanced the game actually is or its not
Exactly...100% behind you
-
New Claudette perk. You can escape with the complete hook in endgame. Just needs a little bugfix.
-
Trapper: because he is so satisfying to play when someone steps in your trap.
Deathslinger: because of the sick shots you can do with him and his creepy laugh after a hit.
-
Ehm why do people play Battlefield for example. Spawn, Shoot, drive, heal, die, spawn....etc etc
I mean what is your Intention?
Do you want to write a treatise on dbd?
-
I would agree if you were right but that is not the case. When you get carried by your 3 other teammates, yeah your right. But it Sounds like you mean that every game is easy. I killed some swf groups. Even good ones. Yes its easier then solo...but when you counter a good or very good killer, even a swf group needs to be good. Or do you think Oracle has no good players?

My Suggested changes:
Monstrous Shrine:
Buff the perk to - Survivors have 3 less escape attempts, and sacrifice progresses 25% faster when hooked in the basement.
Explanation - 25% of 2 mins is 30 seconds, or subtracting 15 seconds from each hook phase so 45 seconds per hook phase total, adding in the fact that unless the survivors bring in Slippery Meat or Deliverance, they'll have to be rescued by their teammates... This makes being hooked in the basement a much more dire situation than current Monstrous Shrine.
Sometime after Hag came out the devs doubled the hook time from 1 min to 2 meaning survivors used to only have 30 seconds per hook phase, And current monstrous Shrine was designed with these the old timings in mind but was still underwhelming even back then. This suggestion is a sort of middle ground between how hooking used to be in the early days of the game, and how it is now, while only applying to the basement hooks, and finally giving Monstrous Shrine the buff it needs to be a threat that creates urgency for the survivor team.
Spies From the Shadows:
Overhaul the perk to - The Crows no longer respond to your presence, the yellow auras of any crows within 24/30/36 meters of you are revealed upon being disturbed. Disturbed crows are 100% louder to you within that range.
Explanation - This proposal gets rid of the confusing/annoying explosion sound notifications and replaces it by making the crows noisier so you can differentiate between them and a gen popping, you get no false signals since crows no longer respond to you, and they basically become little signal flares to tell you where survivors are. If this change were to happen, Spies would become an overall better tracking tool, and really fit the description of the perk which says: "The Crows found in the world can communicate directly with you." Besides, survivors still have 2 perks that defeat this: Calm Spirit & Urban Evasion, as well as the crouching mechanic, so it's not like this would be an un-counterable or broken change for the perk. If they also put some more crows in dead zones, that would be nice for helping this perk gain a better level of consistency and usefulness (Seriously, Rotten fields features no Scarecrows, but the crows completely avoid the corn field... wtaf?).
Surge:
Remove the cooldown and the Basic Attack requirement.
Explanation - Honestly this has been hotly debated in the forums since Surge came out because the fact remains that in order to activate Surge at all, you have to successfully down a survivor while within range of a gen. Chasing and downing a survivor with Basic attacks takes enough time as it is, especially if they were healthy when the chase started, and the minor 8% damage Surge does if it activates is hardly consequential since it would take 12 survivor downs in order to achieve a stacked 96% damage to 1 or more gens. PGTW does 300% damage to gens in the same amount of hooks, and Ruin Does more damage per second without needing to down or hook a survivor. While this won't improve the overall damage Surge can do, removing the basic attack requirement will at least allow killers with damaging powers to get some use out of it making it more universal to the killer roster, and removing the cooldown will allow it to become a slightly more consistent annoyance to survivors. It won't make it any more powerful than any other existing gen defense perks, but at least it would be more useful.
Oppression:
Remove or significantly lower the cooldown.
Explanation - This perk doesn't even add extra damage to the gens it affects (unless survivors fail the "Difficult" skill check), only applies the base regression rate, and can randomly target gens that have 0 progress on them, but for some awful reason the devs decided that it was so powerful that it deserved DOUBLE the cooldown time (80 seconds) of Surge? At least Surge won't activate on gens that have 0 progress... Why does Oppression deserve such an excessive cooldown time? If it's because of the skill check, that's a laughable annoyance more than anything that could be considered a threat to any decent-good survivors, and only becomes a problem against noobs, who honestly rank up and gain skill fast enough that it's pretty much a moot point to keep it so laughably underpowered.
Fire Up:
Buff the perk- Increase it from 4% to 5%.
Explanation - This is a ridiculously underpowered perk because in order to gain any benefit from it, the killer has to sacrifice the objectives they are supposed to protect, in other words "lose the game". It's designed to give killers a slight edge in chases in order to try and protect the last gens from completing. The overall problem however is that 4% amounts to 12% when 3 gens are completed, and 20% when all 5 are done, meaning that they gain Brutal Strengths chase advantage on pallet breaking only after the survivors have completed all of the gens when there's not many unused pallets left in the map, and Bamboozles vault speed advantage when there is only 1 gen remaining. This doesn't help the killers in their desperate attempts to stop the final gens from completion at all, and by the time it's reached its maximum potential, the survivors are already rushing out the gate.
However, if you bump it up just 1%... now we have a perk that gains Bamboozles advantage at 2 gens remaining, and Brutal Strengths at 1 gen remaining, with an added bonus to both if 0 gens remain. This would actually help the killers defend the final gens, and give them enough of a chase advantage if all gens are completed to try and stop the survivors from escaping. Suddenly this goes from an "underpowered" perk to a "Decent" one, and all it takes is a simple 1% boost in strength.
Insidious:
Overhaul the perk to - Reduces your Terror Radius and Red Stains Brightness by 5% for every 4/3/2 seconds you refrain from chasing or injuring survivors, upon reaching 100% reduction, you gain the Undetectable Status. Initiating a chase or injuring a survivor regains your TR and Red stain back to normal size and brightness in 4 seconds, once this has returned Insidious has a 40 second cooldown.
Explanation - This perk has been a bane on the game upon its release since it seems to have been specifically designed for the sole purpose of camping hooks. With this change however, a killer loses half their TR for spending 10 seconds away from a chase or injuring a survivor, and becomes Undetectable at 20 seconds. This is mostly meant for anti-stealth play, or for gaining a slight advantage in the early game wherein the killer is initially searching the map for survivors. Ultimately, it changes the perk from one encouraging camping, to one that rewards the killer with an advantage if the survivors are being too sneaky/evasive, and allows them to get the drop on survivors more often. The cooldown is necessary for this one because otherwise it would be heavily abuseable.
As for the survivors going up against this updated version, Premonition or Spine Chill still proc on stealth killers, so relying solely on the TR reduction is still no guarantee against those kinds of perks, and gives the survivors an advantage. Up until then, unless the killer has spent 20 seconds avoiding survivors, Aura reading perks like OoO, Alert, and Kindred still have an advantage for tracking the killer.
I like how much effort you brought in. With Surge i agree and disagree. No Cooldown would be fair but surge is powerful with ruin or pop. So i think down with basic attack fine.
-
Maybe you ran into a very stupid or toxic surv, who cant stand loosing. But i never played against survs with 1k + hours who doesnt understand the most used killer perks

There is no "right amount". It's the fact they basically said all of the issues that the patch has brought out which include up to staggering performance issues on rigs that never existed pre-patch, to the point it's impossible to actually play, to actually removing half of the DLC people paid for because it just doesn't work is equal to an hour of our time. It's a giant middle finger to the entire player base. The LEAST they could do is offer a double BP weekend once they have sorted the issues out. But as it stands? 300k is the equivalent to being told piss off.
Ok imo it should be more Double bloodpoint weekends besides the Patch. Ok when this Patch is the worst of all( i dont know the problems from earlier patches, playing since a year) maybe it would be nice they can give some Aura cells or free cosmetics. I just dont want that many people give up playing dbd.

Sorry no, that's not even a real apology. Nobody that has actually played this game for more than 100 hours is going to be happy with 300k BP. That's a drop in the bucket to every single player. On average to a killer player if they score 25k BP and have BBQ with no BP Offerings they will get 50k, that's 6 matches to equal out that amount and let's be generous and say every match is 10 minutes long, that's ONLY an hour of time they gave out. It's literally nothing, especially when you realize that 300k BP is equivalent to roughly 20% of the way to LV 50, factor in that once you've learned enough teachables, even getting LV 50 is pointless as you'll be missing a large majority of perks.
Okay what would be the right amount of bp to apologize for this broken Patch?

Thanks guys. I was wondering that nobody noticed the zero substance and pure hate speech. Really, bugs are annoying and every map get closed after bringing a new one or a rework but that is not a way to start a discussion.

Correction, most killers can't stand a chance against tournament SWF. The everyday SWFs you encounter are usually easy to beat because they just play a game with their friends. They're predictable- they'll want to save their buddies and they'll want to have fun. It's easy to exploit against them.
So are the basic Killer Players. You can also read them.

Excuse me? The fact that tunneling and camping is still a thing 5 years after this game has been released shows how much BHVR care about survivors, they nerfed decisive strike, a completely fair antitunnel perk and even object of obsession, I mean what more could you ask for? Wraith is completely broken right now and you think this game is….. survivor-sided?
Wraith is broke? I didnt notice.
But what is with franklin nerf and lucky break Buff? Ds neede a nerf as it was but i admit that it needs a little Buff now. Anyways its clear that most killers cant stand a chance against swf.

You're downplaying this way, way too much. This update has not only caused a majority of their player base to deem the game unplayable due to a ridiculous amount of lag, but it has also been making consoles overheat on a game that is 5 years old.
That is not okay, and we as the players need to speak up about it. Maybe if this kind-of thing didn't happen every single update they put out there wouldn't be such an uproar, but BHVR has a reputation for this.
Not to mention, this is literally their anniversary chapter and they managed to screw it up this much. I don't know how they do it, truly. As for the BP, it's basically a 'sorry' from the devs which is appreciated but 300k is just a joke considering the endless grind in this game, but that's another discussion for later.
Ok fair enough. But i never had that big issues in dbd.
