Actually, Spirit and Hilly Billy are pretty equal. But wouldn't be better to buff killers to Nurse tier than nerf Nurse down to lower tiers?
No? Because A. It'd take way too much time if Freddy is any example and wouldn't be able to ever have all the Killers usable at once with the rate of content. B. The issues other Killers have are (for the most part) all shared issues. Gens going too fast, too many close together pallets, and way too many safe pallets/vaults on certain maps that can be endlessly abused. And C. Nurse isn't playable on console but dominates the PC scene because she doesn't have to deal with any game mechanic besides the Survivors running. Nothing affects her, a good Nurse is absurdly boring to play against and is pretty much guaranteed a 4k. Walls? No problem. Pallets? Don't even do anything! Generators? She has one of the best mobility abilities in the game, combined with PGTW makes her way too good at protecting gens. Nurse has no counter, she has no limit. She NEEDS to be reworked if anything in this game is going to matter balance wise, because you can't have an actual discussion about issues Killers have when the solution every time is just "Play Nurse."

Gotta love the people in this thread defending Nurse like playing her is hard or anything. She's the easiest Killer in the game simply because she doesn't need to learn anything other than how to blink. If someone just played Nurse and never touched an M1 Killer, they'd never know that you even have to do red stain mind games, that you have to push Survivors to certain areas that are favorable for you, that you have to get crafty to catch people off guard at loops, none of that. All they'd know how to do is press M2 a couple times and get a free down. That's what they'd think normal DBD is. Not to mention she's unplayable on console. Spirit at least has counterplay with things like Iron Will, Quick and Quiet, and evading grass on the floor. (Although I agree Prayer Beads needs a nerf, it's way too good for what it does.) Billy is an M1 Killer that has good map pressure and ends chases quickly if a Survivor gets caught out. Nurse? She's a Killer that goes through walls and floors, ignores pallets completely, and covers insane distances for chases and gen protection in literal seconds. What's her drawback? What makes her balanced like Spirit or Billy? Nothing. She has no drawbacks at all. She's not a crutch, she's a rocket powered wheelchair in comparison to other Killers. She has no counter, she has no mind games to play. A good Nurse will ensure this. I'd rather them rework Nurse to be reasonable and actually fix the problems the game has to make it playable for a majority of Killers in rapid succession rather than waiting 1.5 years for each of them to get reworks like Freddy did. Spirit should be the top Killer because she's actually fair and balanced (without PB), unlike Nurse since some people see her that way.

"Girl are you Freddy Kreuger? Because you look like you got rammed quite a few times."

- Doctor
- Trapper
- Wraith
Haven't had many, if any at all, camping Leatherfaces surprisingly.

I remember when infinites were still a thing that I was getting looped for a long ass time on Suffocation Pit so I just said "Screw it" and took around an hour and a half nap and when I woke up and came back the Survivor was still there waiting to loop me. Was an interesting experience to say the least lol.

Balance wise:
1. Nurse
2. Hillbilly
3. Huntress
4. Doctor
5. Myers
Personal favorites of mine outside of balance:
1. Huntress
2. Hillbilly
3. Pig
4. Freddy
5. Wraith -
I've always wanted to run Save The Best For Last, Unrelenting, Overwhelming Presence, Monstrous Shrine, Fire Up, and Blood Warden all in the same build
-
Pssh. Clown, obviously. He's got them D U M M Y T H I C C muscles.

@ren_knock They do though. I've played Survivor against her recently and her addons definitely do work. Unless it's just showing that it's slowed without it actually being slowed. And yeah. Amanda's Letter is the worst addon in the game, I will agree with you on that. If they're going to decrease my trap count, I should atleast get a one hit with my dash.
-
Wraith's addons just need reworked in general honestly. The only ones worth taking are the ones that decrease his cloak/uncloak time. Maybe have some of them speed him up while cloaked/cloaking or have some of them make it so he can grab people while a certain way through his uncloak in exchange of slowing down his uncloak.
-
Yeah, I agree they should probably have more than one menu track.
-
Try playing Pig with Pop Goes The Weasel, you'd be surprised how many gens you can stall with PGTW and her Reverse Bear Traps.
-
I mean the white shirt is neat and all, but if this is all people who buy the DLCs are getting I'm probably just going to start saving up Iridescent Shards and buying them that way. Kate doesn't even have a full alternate set like most other DLC Survivors do, just a recolor of her base black shirt..
-
If I just get gen rushed or pallet looped and don't even get a single kill, yeah. I usually just insta-quit back to the menu at the end. But if I atleast black pip, I'll always stay behind and atleast say gg.
-
Insidious Leatherface with the fastest charge up, Bing Bong Boi, and basement Hag. (I love playing basement Hag so much it's actually stupid how well it works)
-
I don't really agree with your ideas there but I do think that with a little tweaking they could work. How about this: When Freddy puts someone into the Dream Transition, he can grab them off anything and make the Dream Transition end early while also picking them up. Also, they should really make it so Survivors can't hear Freddy's loud ass noises that he makes unless they're in the Dream World. Same goes for moving grass and corn stalks. And he should probably also just have his Dream Transition timer halved so he can actually be a normal Killer a lot quicker.
-
@PianoMan I mean hey, I know my horror stuff and I know what I want
-
Reduce the timer for when the trap's activated to 2 minutes and rework Tampered Timer. Decrease the time it takes to crouch and rework Combat Straps. Increase her movement speed while crouched to be her normal move speed (maybe slightly slower). Activate the trap on a Survivor if they become unhooked. And only reveal one Jigsaw Box aura to a Survivor at a time instead of all of them at once. People play so scummy with Pig most of the time because of how niche she is. She only works in a set of situations but she works really well in those situations. If people had more of a reason to use her crouch outside of camping, and if her traps were more of a threat, then people would start playing a little more freely with her.
-
Actually, Fire Up combined with Bamboozle on Myers right now is really damn good. Makes vaulting insane and you can actually get hits off Survivors with the combo. But aside from using it with Bamboozle, I agree it does need a bit of a buff. Should probably make it so the first token you get actually gives you a speed increase as well. And maybe make it so you start with a token or two I don't know. And then maybe increase the intervals to 10%/12%/14%/16%. So you get more out of the perk at the start but a little less out of it in the late game.
-
Quite possibly the best/funniest salt I've ever received.

-
After about 3-4 pallets in, if they're really good at looping, I usually swap targets and go find someone else or damage a generator.
-
Maybe have Hangman's Trick affect Trapper's traps and have them respawn after 30/20/10 seconds after being sabotaged like hooks.
-
When I play him, I usually like to make people confused about where I actually am. So I run Distressing, Unnerving Presence, Hex: Ruin, and Overcharge with the addon that makes it so my terror radius is tremendously increased in treatment but tremendously decreased in punishment. You get some interesting results.
-
I've had a few ideas. Alternate mask for Michael from when he had both his eyes shot out at the end of Halloween 2, Laurie's hospital gown from Halloween 2, pre-burn Freddy where he looks normal during the flashback moments in the remake, and maybe an alternate head for Amanda where she has the mask off like in some parts of Saw 3.
-
Die-hard Alien fan here, through and through. Saw is my second favorite, but Alien is just so fascinating, scary, and cool to me. I would love an Alien Chapter, but I doubt it'll ever happen. Still, a boy can dream.
-
All I want are for pallet vacuums to go, Decisive nerfs to be here, and for the Emblems to be adjusted. Because I've gotten games where I would've pipped in the old system, but de-pipped with the new system. And games where I would've lost with the old system, but two-pipped with the new one. And considering how difficult it is to level up Chaser right now, I'm not sure what to think.
-
Kindred is nice to use. Keeps your teammates from being special ed and all three coming for the save of no one coming for the save.
-
Favorite: Coldwind Farm, specifically Thompson House. Fair amount of pallets and neat house design.
Least favorite: Mother's Dwelling and both Backwater Swamp variations. They're both too big, if you're not playing Hillbilly on those maps, you lose. They're just too big.
