The buffs look pathetic and nearly unnoticeable. It's like they were too afraid to actually change anything with their proposed changes. He'll stay a underused C-tier.
You shouldn't worry about the Remnant speed buff either, it's not even a 5% speed buff. Very pathetic.

You need two premises to work here:
- There are enough swf to have a significant impact
- All swf make use of the potential advantage
Looking at escape rates I suppose it can be said neither of these two premises is met to a point where it becomes significant.
Official statistics on survival rates taken from December 30 2023 to January 29 2024 show that high MMR 4-man SWFs escape 6% more than high MMR 3-man SWFs, and 8-9% more often than high MMR 2-man and solos. This means that experienced SWFs extraordinarily break the intended 60/40 mold and make it very close to a 50/50. This prove that there is a correlation between SWFing and significantly higher success rates, most certainly on the advantages that may come from communication, namely coordination — and consistent information — which, comparatively, killers can't get in their basekit and rely on perks for.

Survivors need a better window to kick Victor after a missed or successful pounce, it's truly way too short.
To recall Victor after only 10 seconds is pretty insane. I think 20 seconds would be a nice middle ground.
-
Please just revert the add-ons and leave him alone.
-
Slug, camp, tunnel and use NOED, because that's the new meta. What else can you do.
-
No.

Not a glitch. Supposed to be like this.TheOwl said:It is the result of a visual glitch. You can still unlock all of Leatherface's masks by completing the necessary sacrifice requirements. The glitch only causes you to be unable to see the locked masks in the customization menu until you unlock them.
-
I don't need it. Now that you've gotten used to it, you need it.
-
Honestly, @P3Myers? The only thing he's got going for him is the surprise instadown. Slow early game since he's nearly the same speed as survivors and has to search for them, then stalk them to get to EW2 and become a base killer with a 16m terror radius, but with a nearly fluorescent mask. Then stalk some more to get that sweet instadown. Billy keeps you on your toes the whole game. Myers only surprises you when you're far from a pallet or window.
-
He's the most balanced Killer an asymmetrical game like this could have.
-
"Bloodlust needs a nerf, you can literally be braindead and win because of it"
"Just break the pallet"
"Gens are done at a fine pace"
"Make BBQ a Hex perk"
"Freddy is OP, you can't see him until he hits you" -
Logwood Dye should be built-in
Regular trap is near fluorescent -
You can turn it off
"Press Windows Key + R and in the Run dialog box, type, %appdata%/../Local/DeadByDaylight/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor and open the file GameUserSettings.ini in any text editor. From there, change bUseVSync=True to bUseVSync=False and FrameRateLimit=0.000000 to FrameRateLimit=300.000000 or whatever you feel like the limit should be."
-
Ikr. The game is actually scary when you don't have infinite heals and stuff like that.
It's a good strat if it somehow makes your senses better I guess. Play how you want. -
Devs spoiled mainly survivors by making them nearly invincible. So when they lose or when you play in a way that they don't like they think there's something seriously wrong with you and the game and want you out of the game.
-
Yeah they definitely should. Myers is the only one so far that has unique chase music (and also the best one)
-
Survivors already have the upper-hand in mindgames and barely need them to loop anyways.

My unpopular opinion :
Hag is top tier, possibly top 2, tied with Billy, after the removal of the vacuum.Without her traps she's just a Huntress with no hatchets... You can't trap the whole map.
-
@Mc_Harty there's no mindgame in most pallets cause the survivor easily sees you. Even if there's a wall, So mindgaming isn't always an option, and the only option is to run in circles and wait for the survivor to ######### up... For example, check 5:10. You think there was any mindgame possibilities in that loop spot in which the Killer would have an advantage? Nope.
Also, weirdkid5, how dare you kill survivors? Freaking tryhard.

Killers, please use perks against healing if it's that bothersome.
Nurses calling, thanatophobia, clown perk, distressing or whatever else make a good 4th perk.
Self care takes so long to complete anyway, just leave it.We already have to use Ruin to counter genrush (and can be destroyed, making us have only 3 perks for the rest of the game, if we're not using other Hex perks)
and Enduring to ""counter"" pallets and DS
and BBQ & Chili so we don't have to camp cause if we do you get too salty (but you also hate if we don't camp cause then we're tunneling or something)
and now we can't even have a free 4th perk slot?!@Axlegolas said:
BBQ is not OP, since you are not a nurse or billy. self care is needed badly.says the boosted survivor

Speaking of which I just got 4k 4 iridescents on him https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1398191409 which you can do on anyone, but I still suck at himWow, you got 4K with The Clown? Best Killer ever.
I once got a 4K with Freddy too, golly he needs a nerf so bad -
It's a reskin of The Nurse's map
-
I remember a dev said they'd rework it so if you stop the self-care action before fully healing yourself to healthy state, the progress of your Self-Care would be reset. That was almost 2 months ago. If anything were a nerf to Killer it'd be accepted in 2 days
-
You survivors got tons of OP perks, let we have at least one...

Yeah, he's good right now. He is very anti pallet looping. Just make the slowdown and blur last 2 seconds from 1.5 and I really think that's it.He really doesn't stop pallet looping, mate...

Most likely in the game's anniversary, 14th of June.
-
I have. It's running even worse than before now, at least in the PTB... wow...

@ThePloopz said:
Wait so what do you want him to do be able to throw bottles across the map? He’s not huntress he his own killer, he has bottles not hatches so it makes sense why the trajectory is different and the distance is different. I personally think it’s ok distance but to say it has 0 distance is a bit of an exaggerationThe thing is: there are much better choices, sure, you can have more fun playing him than any other killer, but the fact is that his power is mediocre at best.
-
I agree, he's just an underpowered Doctor. Doctor's shock stops survivors from doing anything for 2.5 secs - this can actually counter pallet looping - however, Clown's smoke just slows them down and blurs their vision, doesn't stop them from vaulting, dropping pallets or anything. If they're close to a pallet, they're safe.
-
Trapper, please, I love it when survivors step into my traps but it's soooo rare, most games it never happens.
Edit:
My buff ideas:- Make him start the trial with 5 or at least 3 of his traps. Having to hunt down his only unique power is stupid
- Injured survivors instantly get downed
- Traps can't be sabotaged
- Trapped survivors shouldn't be so easily rescued and traps shouldn't be so easily disarmed. At least one or two tremendously difficult skillchecks, if the survivor fails those skillchecks, he gets injured
- If devs are still gonna make him have to waste time chasing his traps, make them start all armed and not in far corners of the map
- Increase trap hitbox
- You don't get trapped when you step into your traps

Freddy.Every other killer I feel is working as intended. I think Freddy's nerf brought him to a place that allows those with skill to win, but man is it frustrating.
Only 2 killers are (almost) working as intended.

Back when people thought Myers was OP
When Iron Grasp, Calm Spirit and other now useless/unnecessary perks were meta
When a The Wraith was something to fear -
Just get within the killer's terror radius while he's hooking a survivor, trick him into thinking you're going somewhere - count to 5 and go the other way, hide from him, etc. There are many ways to counter BBQ & Chili, like every other good killer perk.
-
Lèry, Haddonfield and all the swamp ones.
-
Bloody Nea and regular Laurie
There's no excuse, if you're playing with Laurie it's because you want to use and abuse that damn broken perk. -
@hMM said:
for example when the killer disconnects, the survivors should get a pip.lol no

The problem is that there's about no way for killers to counter this if the survivor is just decent at looping
-
It's already a dull perk thoughlionsou said:@AsianMammoth said:
Edit: Yeah they should buff Unrelenting. %30 reduced cooldown to both successful and missed attacks, it'd be greatthat wouldn't work.. if it was for both missed and successful attacks then 'save the best for Last' would be a dud perk

Regular players shouldn't have to suffer from crap queues, and lobbymakers shouldn't have to deal with BS or toxic/frequently reported players. I really want to push for a reputation system.I agree. But sadly things are the way they are because devs didn't take care of their game correctly.

Forcing killers to play games would only reduce the killer count or induce more DC's at start.
Survivors need to realise their "fun game" and YouTube highlight reel isn't another persons fun game. It's really that simple and the devs are fully awareHow is lobby dodging and "fun game" (I'm going to assume you mean bullying survivors) related?
How do you know they're going to bully you/troll? Because they load in at the same time? Because they're dressed the same? Items? Names? Weird outfits?
Full bloody outfit + flashlight, if multiple players joined at the same time, or a name such as "Looped Till Daylight"... Or maybe we just played against that player before.
I lose nothing for dodging a potentially unfun and stressful game. So why not? Blame the toxic people in the community for making me this paranoid. -

Hi there! I downvoted this post. I thought Peanits gave a great and balanced assessment of the problem by pointing out both sides of the issue, only for you to ignore it, call all your opponents "toxic" and insist that your experience is the only one that matters because everyone else is a coddled bully.
I didn't find that very reasonable or supportive of honest discussion, so I down-voted. Mind you, I'm not sure this comment of mine is particularly constructive either, but since you were concerned about the downvote, I thought I'd explain myself. I haven't downvoted anything else you've posted, so I'll also happily reassure you that no one is stalking you. Afaik. So we're down-voting opinions we disagree with? Alright then. I didn't ignore his point, in fact, I explained why I think he's wrong. There would be no need for dodging if survivors weren't so toxic.
-
@RSB said:
Nope, it is just a placebo implemented to make you think, that the toxic player will have his punishment. -
Léry and The Game. I hate the swamp and farm maps, they just awful to me, especially the farm maps, they're just so bland compared to newer ones.

While I hate last second switches as a killer...I do love last second switching FROM flashlight Claudette TO Pizza Dwight.
I've never met a non-toxic survivor that isn't new into the game.
@Peanits said:
I would agree, but dodging would have to be addressed as well. The reason people feel the need to do so is because they'd get dodged if they didn't. I don't think anyone should be picking and choosing who they go up against. All that accomplishes is abusing the matchmaking system to artificially raise your rank higher than it should be, making those types of matches all the more common.Yes we SHOULD be picking who we go up against; the current situation of the game forces us to, unless we're masochists. Devs made it so survivors have the upper-hand in 90% of situations. SWF groups are not fair. It's not fun to play with that Bloody Claudette that just runs in circles every game. Killers wouldn't dodge if survivors didn't bully the killer every game. We don't dodge cause we like to, we dodge cause we don't wanna go through the same stressful and unfun experience that devs allow the survivors to put us into. Being able to change your loadout on the loading screen would only be a bandaid fix.
Edit: Who's this fella that is just down-voting every single post I make? What did I do to you? Kill you in-game? Do you think I was being tahxic?

Hey uh, unrelated question, but I was just victim of an exploit and then harassed after being FORCED to leave the game, where can I report this? I have evidence recorded.Currently only via the in-game report system! There's been a couple threads requesting a submission system on the forums. Hopefully we see something to that end, soon. Sorry to hear this happened!

Oh, so they're just gonna get away with this. Pretty good job so far, devs.

Quick switching removes the option for the killer to take what they think may be a challenge, and it's also the reason most people use quick switching.I've found that I appreciate the challenge, as someone who plays killer. I do wish that I had more of a warning for when I was going against a squad that'd be trying hard :pirate: Perhaps check profiles, for now.
+1 for character switch cooldown, or perhaps limiting character switches to the first 30 seconds of a match countdown?

Too toxic. Mostly survivor mains that bully new players into abandoning the game.

I agree. I've been waiting for Ruin to appear on the shrine for almost a month now... I can't buy the Hag DLC

There's really nothing else to say other than... train your blinks and predicitons. That's the only way you can learn. She's all about muscle memory. I recommend you do some KYF games with your friends just to train your blinks and etc., so you don't get too stressed by going against randoms (that WILL bully you for missing your blinks). I also recommend you watch some Marth88 Nurse plays, he's a beast with her.
