I would like to know why you cant turn off vsync and why is it on by default

    You can turn it off, but I think it’s because the devs want you to play the game a certain way.

    You can turn it off
    "Press Windows Key + R and in the Run dialog box, type, %appdata%/../Local/DeadByDaylight/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor and open the file GameUserSettings.ini in any text editor.

    From there, change bUseVSync=True to bUseVSync=False and FrameRateLimit=0.000000 to FrameRateLimit=300.000000 or whatever you feel like the limit should be."

    I know you can do it that way, but you shouldn't have to do that.
