My go-to build is Sprint Burst, Adrenaline, Off the Record and Resilience.

Monitor & Abuse works well due to having a far greater range for Static Blast, paired with Infectious Fright and you'll know whether to save it or use it. A more loop-oriented perk is Zanshin Tactic as it greatly helps plan out denying a vault/vault-back.
One perk to avoid using is Distressing as it becomes overkill with Static Blast, or perks grant Undetectable, unless paired with add-ons that provide illusory-terror radius.
How does Monitor help when the terror radius becomes smaller when not in chase?
-
Adding an annoying scream sound effect and new, clunky first person animations didn't help either.
-
Same for me on Steam

Billy's face looks too silly to be in the the picture, put him in after they rework his face like they did Trapper.
(I believe Wraith's face is silly too, but it doesnt look bad they way they did it in this visual)
Ironically, the Trapper featured in the new visual is the old Trapper and not the redesigned one.

No offence to the guy, but I take his balance opinions with a grain of salt these days. He thinks Billy and Deathslinger are both S tier in their post-nerf states, and that Twins are S tier because they stomped the competition in a tournament he was commentating on. A tournament where, if I remember correctly, COH, Unbreakable, and literally every Twins countering perk was banned.
But I do like the guy overall. Very chill compared to some other streamers.
He never said that post-nerf Deathslinger and Billy are S-Tier.
-
Maybe, maybe. But I still prefer Wraith over Nemesis, Spirit, Deathslinger, Pyramid Head, Freddy, Hag, Doctor, Twins, Clown and Trickster.
-
I'm 99.9% sure that you don't even need to mori people to complete the challenge. Sacrifices work as well.
At least I can't remember using a Mori when I finished that particular challenge.
-
Because they do not offer refunds for cosmetics. It's stated in the EULA, simple as that.
-
Yeah, for some reason a few sounds became really loud after the mid-chapter got released.
-
I used to main Kate when playing Survivor, but... uh... yeah. I'm still trying to figure out who to play instead. Probably Nea or Meg.
As Killer, I usually enjoy Huntress, Wraith and Leatherface.
-
Please, no more interactions where survivors need to hold M1 for an entire minute.

- The overheat making the chainsaw sound like it's going to explode any second.

Trickster needs cheap tactics because he is so bad killer in game. Even with buffs, he is still joke. He can not win without camp or tunnel.
I saw some really good Tricksters, they played so well but still half of team escaped. This explain everything about Trickster. This was mistake, he never would join game.
Well, Trickster's 1v1 is actually really good. He can down any survivor with relative ease and the upcoming buffs will make his 1v1 even stronger.
Trickster's 4v1 sucks because he's slow and he has to reload at lockers. This is the main reason why Tricksters can still be defeated by decent teams.
-
I don't think finding survivors at the start of match is a problem. It may take some experience, but there are enough tools to help out the killer. You've got crows, great perks like Corrupt Intervention or Whispers etc.
Kicking gens is a terrible way to slow down the game. Most killers kick every gen they see without making sure that survivors are unable to get there for a prolonged period of time. Instead, it's much more efficient to apply pressure by getting downs and hooks to keep survivors away from generators. However, this obviously requires the killer to play well.
I don't think being blinded is a huge deal. Flashlights are incredibly easy to counter. When survivors are insta-saving, the killer can abuse that for even more pressure.
The point of Hex perks is them being high risk high reward perks. The reward usually outweighs the risks. There's a reason why Ruin and NOED are the second and third most used perks respectively.
-
Doctor, Clown, Spirit, Deathslinger, Pyramid Head, Trickster, Nemesis.
-
I don't know, EU games are fine for me.
-
I play both sides equally and I hate both maps equally.
-
Yes, I have noticed an increase in tunneling. Even though most killers usually don't tunnel immediately at the start of the match, I've noticed that more killers will start tunneling throughout the match if there's no obsession which has been more common after the DS nerf.
-
How would them lag switching affect your own connection though?
Lag switching used to be a thing back in the day when the Killer player was also the host. Now we have dedicated servers.
-
The next bug fix patch should be released on Tuesday. If we're lucky, it also contains a fix for the desync issues.

The Hillbilly changes were absolutely necessary. Unlimited freedom of use of his chainsaw over and over and over again was just unbearable to deal with.
It wouldn’t matter if he missed. He could just keep coming and coming. It wasn’t balanced in the slightest.
Imagine if Spirit, Blight, Oni, Nurse just freely kept immediately using their power after just coming out it?
Well, Billy has proper counterplay, so it didn't matter that he could use his chainsaw without any major cooldowns.
-
Because I don't want to juke 24/7 because of his instant ADS. You either don't juke and get hit or you juke and lose all your distance because he can just wait until you're done juking and then quick scope you.
Pre-throwing pallets works sometimes but you'll run out of pallets quickly and this playstyle only works on a few specific pallets with large LOS blockers around them. This is also an incredibly boring way to play, because it doesn't take any skill whatsoever.
-
Sat in queue for 10 minutes. For this. Feel bad for the other survivors, they only had a single perk each. It was probably their first ever match.
-
They haven't even fixed his POV yet, soooo...
-
I honestly hate the reworked versions. MacMillan and Autohaven look incredibly flat because the ground texture is less detailed and weirdly coloured. The new grass looks weird as well.
Autohaven is also filled with unneeded props which makes spotting things from afar harder.
Springwood seems fine to me (seems a bit too dark though). I love the improved skybox.
Gameplay-wise I find the maps to be worse, mainly because of the breakable walls.

Crossplay shortens the que times. Soooo.....
Depends on the time of day. Sometimes crossplay lengthens my queue times.

It might help balancing out the 4v1 aspect but in a 1v1 scenario the respective killer is usually still unfun to go against/ oppressive in chase.

No, that seems wrong.
- 26k base
- 26k for the WGLF stacks
- 39k for the blood rush
- If you escaped, 5k for the survival offering
- Total should be around 96,000 bloodpoints
Seems like you didn’t get the points for WGLF and your offering. Might be worth testing further and reporting as a bug if necessary.
Bloodrush is a 50% modifier. It would only reward 13k bloodpoints in the given example.
-
They should also remove the roar while they're at it.
-
Ranks reset tomorrow. No rewards though- as expected.

It would still affect others healing you and medkit usage.
So basically the remaining 10%
-
Give them a year or two, then you'll get your 50k bloodpoints for reaching rank 1.
-
Mother's Dwelling.
-
Getting healed by other survivors should also award points.
-
I've played a lot of Trapper on the new maps and he seems fine. Survivors, good and bad, still run into my traps as usual.
-
I want DbD to be functional and to work as intended.
-
What?
-
These changes will be included in a future update because releasing unfinished content is nice and professional.
-
Welcome to Crotus Prenn Asylum.

Because they make more money with skins.

Time zones.

Isn't he against killing in general? I never really watched the movies but I thought that he despises murderers?
-
I have the same issue. Changing the Mute Focus setting doesn't fix anything.
-
I was so ready to crank up the music volume but immediately regretted it afterwards and turned it back down to zero. The music used to be the one of the best things about the past events.
-
But... but... w-we have breakable walls now... :(

some games have it more than others. I play lots of pvp games on steam, yet my profile exclusively has about 30 comments on it from DBD players. Toxicity is an environment that is ultimately cultivated by those who design the game. It stems from the fact that the game is horribly balanced and there's no sense of fairness in losing. You don't feel like you've lost fairly, and in many cases you don't feel like you've won fairly as well, which then contributes to an influx of players that get their kicks not from winning or losing, but just from being toxic to other players. DBD is a game where you can be extremely abusive to other people, due to extreme balance issues with the game.
There's no sense of fairness when you're bashing seals in the head with a bat, so logically the pleasure gained from it is a sick twisted sense of dominating something that is weaker than you. This is the feeling this game nurtures.
Well said
-
No, they didn't fix it. I still have the issue as well.
-
I don't like the scream either, it's just annoying. But Insta Saw and stuff like that needed to go, these add-on combinations were ridiculous. Basekit is in a good place and at least they changed the Mother's Helpers add-on into something more useful.
