I went against a clown who told me and my team to off ourselves because we all escaped. Bear in mind: This man was running the broken speed build and was camping and tunneling people.
So this was when the nurse's tome came out, aka a beeping long time ago. Usually I don't touch the nurse due to blinks scrambling something in my head, but tome challenges need done so off I go and get a nice little squad who happened to last second swap to 4 flashlights on this early crusade to get good.
So it quickly becomes apparent to them that I'm an easy target to pick on, not helping matters is that it's at Ormond resort and easy blinds. Not a single one touched gens after the first and I know cause these chases consisted of me, the runner, and a possy of 3 flashlight cowboys. These chases continued on for at least 15 minutes. If I remember correctly I needed hooks for the tome which is why I kept trying to hook despite the obvious. Eventually though even I said "**** this" and Slugging I go. Being in the rare moment of being actually annoyed at something that's not Object, I sit on my slug. They try and try to pester me, but one makes a mistake of getting to close while injured and down they go. This turns into a new game of whack a mole until 3 are down and the last one mysteriously (and at this point very wisely) disappeared.
Obviously after everything I'm NOT in a mood for hooking and guard my toys like a hungry dog with a steak. One. By. One. The die. It isn't until the 3rd is dead that I get lucky and spot where the last went. Shuffling between two lockers at the main building. Que grab...and drop…and nice little wait…and the best part is they have the audacity to throw salt at me for everything, including things like being easy to blind, sucking at chase, yada. (So I don't remember exact salt thrown but there was and this is story time)
Not my finest or nicest moment but I think it's a teaching lesson for everyone. Survivors: Don't anger the killer. Killers: Games only over if they're dead or out.
In-game, I was tbagged/humped by a Ghostface for almost the entire bleedout timer for no reason at all. I was also recently body blocked into a corner by a killer and made to stay there until a bleedout of a slug for the first time ever. In my baby survivor days, I had a Ghostface (there's a trend here) who teamed up with my teammates to target me all match, then told me it was because I was the only female character.
The worst one though was also in my babyish days. A teammate body blocked me at shack while I was in chase. They then spent the whole match tbagging me and pointing at me while I was on the hook and shaking their head. They later told me it was because I used too many pallets. It bothered me for quite awhile and the killer ignoring it probably affected how I approach killer even now, because I would never allow that if I saw it, and this killer certainly did, and used it to win.
Post-game, on Steam, I've gotten the typical insults in chat but no suggestions to end my life. On console, I've had voice messages sent to me, but people are careful there. I've had opponenets send me VC requests but I've never accepted them.
I hit someone on hook once. I was a fairly fresh Clown and it was my first experience getting juiced by a Yoichi that bagged and clicked on every pallet. I could not believe the rudeness. I remember my partner who is more of a veteran than I telling me once that hitting on hook is rude, so I showed him what for. He then told me in the post-game chat that he was going to… I'll just say enact immoral things to me. Oh, and I only downed him because "shake palet was gone."
The most toxicity I've received:
I wear the trans pride charm. I'm not trans myself, but I want to show support wherever I can, especially in this day and age. A Blight hard tunnelled me, hit me on hook over and over and let me be taken off hook just to do it again. Post-game chat: slurs directed towards who I was representing and telling me to get out of "his" game.
Runner up:
What I suspect was a four man clicking, bagging, stunning, flashlight saving etc etc. I was still fairly new at the time and getting destroyed by this while streaming to my friends. One of them said "Just hit them." I did, I slugged, I snowballed. I play anonymously and post-game was them laughing at me for being anonymous, trying to hide my 12k hours. I had less than 150 at the time.
If I play the game at a certain time of the day, I sometimes encounter this one player who seemingly holds a grudge against me and will relentlessly go out of their way to make sure I either die as fast as possible or bleed me out while w/sing me as the last survivor.
The few times I've encountered them, they never did this to anyone else nor did I do anything in the match to prompt it. My guess is for some reason they harbour a grudge on someone who doesn't even have a clue who they are lol. Any time this happens to me and I see their name in the EGC my first thought it was always "makes sense."
Also this isn't meant to be a complaint, I think it's hilarious that someone out there can hold this kind of grudge while the other person doesn't even know who they are.
People who rage in the chat after match of some random reason and keep throwing insults and even treaths while even other players in the lobby are not agreeing with them. Does not been anymore specific as in the end most of them are just this.

As a Killer? I went against a 4-man SWF whose leader was called Andrew Tate and he was exactly as toxic as you'd expect. Teabagging, flashlight clicking (this was before they limited how fast you could do it so it was horribly loud and obnoxious), gesturing at me constantly, and all his flying monkeys did the same thing. I did manage to kill them all but it was like pulling teeth: they were all running extremely strong builds and were very coordinated and aggressive, and old (pre-rework) Haddonfield was awful for most Killers. I was on console so I don't know what they typed in endgame chat but I can't imagine it was very nice.
As a Survivor? It was probably the Pig who brought a Lery's map offering and ran a hardcore slug build including old-school Knock Out, Coulrophobia and her Blindness trap addon so we couldn't see each other's downed bodies, among other things. That was a full 4-minute, 4-man bleedout she got. I'll add as an honourable mention the cheating Jane who kept teleporting around the map and tried to get the Killer to kill me, but it was so obvious that the Killer didn't take the bait. I managed to bodyblock her long enough for the Killer to down her instead: her floppy body kept teleporting to me until she was about to bleed out and she went full ragehacks and made herself escape.
And myself? After a really terrible match on a difficult Killer (probably pre-buffs Singularity considering the timeline) complete with exit gate teabags, I put on the sweatiest pre-abandonware Skull Merchant build I could think of. When the Survivors brought an RPD offering their fate was sealed. I turned the stairwell and corridor above basement into a kill zone and camped and slugged them like an absolute monster. I did feel guilty, but not too much.
Got on some weirdo's naughty list for reasons I am still unsure about to this day back in the p2p days. If I ran into them with them as killer they'd blatantly lagswitch to kill me then play normally with the rest. I have genuinely zero clue what on earth motivated them to do it, what I "did". Just told me to stop playing stupid when I asked with honest bewilderment in my mind.
Didn't last long, so I can only assume they did it enough to get banned pretty swiftly.
Ive had someone go out of their way to attack my steam profile and report my name i had for over 13 years, and got it banned for once. All over a lighthearted joke meant for them to find funny too. Like one of the survivors was complaining at the end saying something about having 3 useless teammates, the killer said "make that 4" and im like "make that 5 lol" "well thats not very nice" procedes to attack me personally

That my mother or father should get cancer and they hope they will die soon is pretty normal conversation in end game chat.
I play around 1 hour dbd per day, and always have toxic end game chats. I could make several ticket per day.
Most toxic game I ever saw.
I remember in my early days (around the time Pyramid Head released) where I was in a match with an Ash and a Bubba on Coldwind. The Ash was running Bond and Open Handed, and purposefully kept bringing the Bubba to me (and I was absolutely not good at being chased). This would happen repeatedly until I was on death hook, so I quickly learned that I had to hide from both the killer and my own team mate, so I began going from locker to locker in an attempt to hide. Eventually it was just me and the Ash, and he somehow befriended this Bubba, and both set out hunting for me (which was a fairly short hunt with Bond). When I was found I was slugged on the floor while the Ash bagged on me and Bubba humped, and when they grew tired of that the Ash would heal me to full and the the Bubba would down me again, all lasting until the moment where I was about to fully bleed out, where I was then moried. Ash got to escape, and I was told by both survivor and killer that I sucked at the game, and should do some pretty bad things to myself.
I was recantly told to off myself cause i love the Character Jinx from Arcane and designed my whole Steam Profile around her. I dont even know why he was so mad. In the Match i encountered this weirdo i was Surv, he was also Surv so he was my m8.
We went against a Bubba and unfortunatly he spotted me direct at the Beginning of the Match in a Deadzone. I obviously got downed and getfarmed by Nea (the weirdo), tunneled, farmed again, tunneled, dead…. after the match i got the comment from Nea that i'm a disguasting lol fan that shoul off myself with my cringe ass profile. (i don't even play lol… i mean i did but i'm not even lvl 20) also he mocked me for speaking japanese. Sorry that i'm learning a 3rd language i guess. (German, English, Japanese)

I am very sorry, i am a huge fan of hearing peoples stories of this game
Worst one recently was against a ttv streamer. I was playing iri coin/undetectable deathslinger, usually i Play chill and let people escape if I'm doing well but I had a tome challenge for a 4k so I was playing hardball.
They finish the first 2 gens very quickly, gallows and main done by the time I had 2 hooks. They put a lot of work (about 70%) on the central street gen near shack so that was the priority or I'd lose all control pf the game I started to guard and hook to play around there to stop them working on it and get hooks when they tried.
Pretty tough game, ended up slugging for the 4k when the streamer and one other had been killed, last dwight was a chase god and was hiding for a while, by the time got crows they were able to run out the bleed out timer and get hatch. I jumped in their stream after to gg and chat and they instantly banned me from chat after accusing me of cheating and playing toxic.
I watched the Vod back and they were talking mad s**t about me after the first 30 secs in game. Apparently lighting more than on pentimento hex is hacking and guarding a gen is a "bannable offence" absolute entitled nonsense. Some people really can't handle a killer playing to win, real main character syndrome.
I don't really experience a ton of toxic behavior, probably mostly because I have chat blocked and don't otherwise engage with anyone post-match, where is the really nasty stuff tends to happen. In game, I do get the occasional bleedout humper or smack-on-hooker, but I can't remember much particularly out of pocket. Of course, after 6K hours a lot of it just blurs together.
As for toxic things I have done, I feel like I am about as non-toxic as they come generally, but I do get a little spicy sometimes against teams that try to prevent hooking (sabo or otherwise) as their primary goal. I'll try to hook a few times but if it becomes apparent the teams' entire goal is to prevent hooks (more than even winning), I will usually turn it into a bleedout party, or single out who I perceive to be the best/ringleader and just keep them on the ground the whole time.
I think the worst case was against four sabo TTVs on Badham. They played the offering to spawn the basement at shack, were all running BO and Breakout, and wouldn't leave the basement at main. I was playing Trapper, too. After a lot of BS I ended up getting them all on the ground and trapped all the exits and if they tried to crawl out I'd pick up so they wiggled off and either ran into a trap or I downed them again, and I would carry them as long as possible to make sure the whole experience was as long and boring for them and their viewers as I possibly could.
I almost never get tilted, but I was having a day and reacted in a very petty way.
It was also the last nail in the "if I see more than 2 TTVs in lobby I dodge" coffin for me.
Its interesting that person who calls other fragile seems to be the only real fragile person in that conversation.

His perks werent lvled up, He lost his hexes fast and was being looped by one guy (dont remember who but it wasnt feng). Feng was bming him whole match and was spamming EZ.
And then survivours will complain about killer tunneling, bming, using meta etc

I think last time I played Myers I was in Shelter Woods as Mirror Myers but I got a 4k out of it.
Those people just enjoy putting other peoples down. Their own lives are not that great so them making other person life worse is the only joy they can get or something like that.

I always hate this. Like, when you absolutely rofl stomp a killer there is no need to flashlight click and bag at the exit gates. Just take your win and don't be an ass hat. I even call out one of my regular swf mates for doing it. And people wonder why the game can be so toxic.
This was end game chat, but kind of funny. So I was playing The Pig and two survivors were dead. Ash had an active trap on his head, Jill had just finished the last generator after running me all match almost once I started chasing her. She opens the door and starts BMing at the exit gates as survivors do. I down her, and hook her. Now, this is before the days of not being able to off yourself, so what does she do? She holds on… doesn't try to get herself off the hook. Two full hook states, then during her final struggle phase Ash's head pops and she's sacrificed.
End game, Jill starts going off on me about how I only managed to down her because she was a team player. She wasn't going to leave Ash behind. I told her he had an active trap, she should have just left and given him a chance for hatch, but instead she forced him to keep searching traps instead, and… well, he failed. She wasn't having it, she told me that I must be an only child because I didn't know what it meant to be a team player.

A couple of years ago I got told to "ropemaxx" in the lobby. I had to look it up.
Anyway I put on my troll build of Bond + Technician and followed them around deliberately regressing their gens all game.
They were livid.

From a trickster i versed, he slugged me for four minutes and proceeded to slur me in endgame chat.
For my teammates, they bullied a wholesome nemmy and told him abhorrent stuff in endgame chat im not gonna repeat.
For myself, i ask every ghoul i verse whats his favourite taste of crayon.

Pretty tough game, ended up slugging for the 4k when the streamer and one other had been killed, last dwight was a chase god and was hiding for a while, by the time got crows they were able to run out the bleed out timer and get hatch. I jumped in their stream after to gg and chat and they instantly banned me from chat after accusing me of cheating and playing toxic.
I watched the Vod back and they were talking mad s**t about me after the first 30 secs in game. Apparently lighting more than on pentimento hex is hacking and guarding a gen is a "bannable offence" absolute entitled nonsense. Some people really can't handle a killer playing to win, real main character syndrome.
This one time, Plague puked on me. It was very toxic. I was sick within seconds. Sad days 😔
I don't really experience a ton of toxic behavior, probably mostly because I have chat blocked and don't otherwise engage with anyone post-match, where is the really nasty stuff tends to happen. In game, I do get the occasional bleedout humper or smack-on-hooker, but I can't remember much particularly out of pocket. Of course, after 6K hours a lot of it just blurs together.
As for toxic things I have done, I feel like I am about as non-toxic as they come generally, but I do get a little spicy sometimes against teams that try to prevent hooking (sabo or otherwise) as their primary goal. I'll try to hook a few times but if it becomes apparent the teams' entire goal is to prevent hooks (more than even winning), I will usually turn it into a bleedout party, or single out who I perceive to be the best/ringleader and just keep them on the ground the whole time.
I think the worst case was against four sabo TTVs on Badham. They played the offering to spawn the basement at shack, were all running BO and Breakout, and wouldn't leave the basement at main. I was playing Trapper, too. After a lot of BS I ended up getting them all on the ground and trapped all the exits and if they tried to crawl out I'd pick up so they wiggled off and either ran into a trap or I downed them again, and I would carry them as long as possible to make sure the whole experience was as long and boring for them and their viewers as I possibly could.
I almost never get tilted, but I was having a day and reacted in a very petty way.
It was also the last nail in the "if I see more than 2 TTVs in lobby I dodge" coffin for me.
I love how Bubba players are just protected by this community

I have another one where i played soloq and we got mirror Myers on shelter woods. He got maybe 1 or 2 hooks i think.
His perks werent lvled up, He lost his hexes fast and was being looped by one guy (dont remember who but it wasnt feng). Feng was bming him whole match and was spamming EZ.
And then survivours will complain about killer tunneling, bming, using meta etc
I think last time I played Myers I was in Shelter Woods as Mirror Myers but I got a 4k out of it.
Those people just enjoy putting other peoples down. Their own lives are not that great so them making other person life worse is the only joy they can get or something like that.

I always hate this. Like, when you absolutely rofl stomp a killer there is no need to flashlight click and bag at the exit gates. Just take your win and don't be an ass hat. I even call out one of my regular swf mates for doing it. And people wonder why the game can be so toxic.
This was end game chat, but kind of funny. So I was playing The Pig and two survivors were dead. Ash had an active trap on his head, Jill had just finished the last generator after running me all match almost once I started chasing her. She opens the door and starts BMing at the exit gates as survivors do. I down her, and hook her. Now, this is before the days of not being able to off yourself, so what does she do? She holds on… doesn't try to get herself off the hook. Two full hook states, then during her final struggle phase Ash's head pops and she's sacrificed.
End game, Jill starts going off on me about how I only managed to down her because she was a team player. She wasn't going to leave Ash behind. I told her he had an active trap, she should have just left and given him a chance for hatch, but instead she forced him to keep searching traps instead, and… well, he failed. She wasn't having it, she told me that I must be an only child because I didn't know what it meant to be a team player.

I played on Midwich with green speed and purple chilli.
It was, at the very least, a 30min game. I broke a player's spirit that day.
I'm not proud of it and will forever wear that steam achievement as a reminder of how I should never play again.
