Do the survivors get to rest? Eat? Heal up? Maybe take a shower so they don't stink? Do they get to sleep? Or is it just some sort of never ending hell dimension where all you do is survive and then move onto the next trial without getting a break or a meal? What do the killers do between trials. There's that one perk that talks about you polishing the hooks in the basement or something. Do t15 comments 231 views last activity

The hag/ Lisa Sherwoods lore says she grew up in a village away from c ivilisation. But then why did Lisa go to school in her archive? Is it a different universe where she grew up with a civilisation? I don't get it so just tell me if you know.4 comments 101 views last activity

From tome 1's The Hunger cinematic, we see Talbot Grimes inject himself in the middle of the woods, presumably turning into The Blight. But in the chapter 17 teaser trailer we see Talbot inject himself in front of Father Campbell's chapel, presumably turning into The Blight there. But then in the official chapter 17 trailer we see Talbot inject himself inside of the chapel, turning into The Bligh2 comments 161 views last activity

Have there been any developments on it? Y'know, the descriptions on the first 4 Killers' weapons.2 comments 251 views last activity

So I was watching a video on Jigoku, kind of like Japanese Buddhist Hell. Anyway, in one of the hells (different crimes have different hells), liars have their tounge ripped out of their mouth, which then regenerates. Sound familiar? Oni killed liars (false samurai) and ripped out their tongue. Lovely attention to detail1 comments 231 views last activity

I feel like the Archives are a really cool feature, but I wish there was more ways to get lore than their backstory and the Archives, maybe the daily rituals could unlock more lore to do them not just for bloodpoints1 comments 51 views last activity

In The Twins lore, it mentions that Black Robed men take them, and attempt to sacrifice them or something? Honestly, the lore wasn't clear what they were trying to do, nor was it clear about who these men are. The description sounds an awful lot like the Cult that took in The Blight. I believe that this group is one of the cults that knows about the entity, or maybe I just misinterpreted the lore2 comments 121 views last activity

I had a thought today about how badass it would be to hear ingame character dialogue, like genuine voice acting. I feel like this would make the game's lore way more attractive from the outside. The lore in DbD is hella hard to get into unless you like, watch videos or search it out yourself. Plus hearing Ashley Williams talk to Bill would be dope in general.5 comments 312 views last activity

As I did with Descend Beyond and Felix and Blight, I transcribed Elodie and the Twins' lore for those who can't access the PTB. Elodie Rakoto Born into a lush Parisian household, Élodie Rakoto grew up in a comfortable home miles away from the verdant island of Madagascar, her parents’ birthplace. Her backpack was always heavy and usually contained no schoolwork. She carried the essentials:7 comments 12,091 views last activity

So, I'm on a little 'forced' break from DbD until they fix the PS4 framerate issue, and seeing as I'm bored I'm curious. So, I need to say that I don't think Chucky can be bought into the game. Not because of his license or anything, but purely because of his size. So much of the game hinges on the killers being bigger than the survivors, at least somewhat. Chucky couldn't pick them up, he9 comments 161 views last activity

For what we know, any legendary skin should be a "new" character, right? If so, were they also trapped in the entity's realm? Are Lisa and Cybil trapped alongside the rest of the SH cast? Cheryl has some lore on how she ended up in the Entity's realm, but all we have for the other two are their cosmetic's description. For Lisa, it basically explains her (SPOILER) "death", I don't know about Cyb6 comments 741 views last activity

So, I am one of those people that believes, within how Silent Hill operates, Pyramid Head probably wouldn't be in the Entity's Realm, especially without James. Pyramid Head is James' id, blah blah blah, whatever, that's not what this is about. Now, I am by no means an expert on Silent Hill lore, and I know the actual probable reason James wasn't the survivor is because they wanted something f6 comments 622 views last activity

new killer is called the skinwalker bio: This wasn't no normal creature that nobody could explain his origins and his backround. The hunters can't even know what this creature is. When there was a group of hunters that were hunting him and found out that they are hunting him by stalking them he knows what to do. One by one they die left and right until there were two hunters left in the0 comments 32 views last activity

I believe that the players/users of the game are actually the Entity. Before a match starts, the player is able to pick a survivor or killer to play as in The Trial, who then appears in a puff of black smoke and yellow sparks, all signs of the Entity. As The Entity is in complete and utter control of the Trials, it would make sense that it is choosing exactly what killers and survivors would go i12 comments 1,602 views last activity

I know this year’s Blight event wasn’t that great, but I do still love the Blight skins that have beenreleased this year (even if we can’t earn some for free) and the idea of the Blight event itself. Because of which, I’ll always look forward to another one. That said, there is one thing I’m wondering after visiting the official DBD website again. The Eternal Blight event is, according to the art4 comments 281 views last activity

The question is the title. I know that the 2 oldest killers are nurse and huntress. But i'm curious to what everyone's age is.45 comments 11,794 views last activity

Seems like the Oni would be a good choice along with spirit and probably nurse.49 comments 4,282 views last activity

Like the title implies, is there any lore reason certain killers don’t have maps? I feel like Blight had a strong connection to the university, Bubba to his family’s home, etc.6 comments 241 views last activity

Ok really cringy title but I'm proud it. Tome Talks on both The Hunger and Doors Unknown to wrap up the Blight story. https://youtu.be/Dsv0sVndkjQ Doctor is next followed by Spirit closing to the Reckoning archives so then we can tackle Escalation archives and so on0 comments 41 views last activity

From his maskless model, he looks like he would have when he was alive, except with grey skin. However, his mask has a third eye that moves on its own. The only time he looks like an actual Oni is with the Cursed Fate cosmetic. In any other cosmetic he’s just a dude with an Oni mask. So, in short, is he an Oni wearing an Oni mask? A man with Oni-like powers? Or something else entirely?8 comments 471 views last activity

I just finished the collection entry Doors Unknown, and I am...really confused. What happened to Talbot Grimes once he came into the realm of the Entity? Can he still think? Was his original Blight form ever real, or did he immediately become the True Blight? If anybody has any theories, I'd be glad to hear them.13 comments 1,311 views last activity

Greetings, everyone. I'll start by saying that, yes, this is a fan theory and, like most theories, it's just an idea. Now, let's talk about it. Not so long ago, many different maps received both minor and major changes, like, for example, reducing their tiles, removing infinite loops, etc. However, I'd like to concentrate more on the Realms that have been changed the most: Léry's Memorial Inst9 comments 132 views last activity

Does anybody remember gravity falls? I'm pretty sure a lot of people watched the show at some point, bit I digress, what would happen if bill cipher were to meet the dbd entity in some way? How would they react to each other?1 comments 151 views last activity

Simply, both Claudette and the Legion lived in Canada, so Ormond is in Canada too. Claudette has a skin called 'chalet getaway' and the banner background is of Ormond Resort, a.k.a. a chalet. It's just a neat connection that can be made to help make the universe of DBD feel more entwined3 comments 191 views last activity

Title. Do you think the licensed killers- Myers, PH, Bubba, etc., etc. are canon? In my opinion, probably not - aside from Ghost Face considering he's an original character, just with a licensed costume.16 comments 1,001 views last activity

Keep in mind, this is assuming The Entity has total control over its realm and what life resides within it. So why are the Pestula plants a thing? Were they made specifically to be used by the Blight? Are they to complete the look of the place? Are they meant to be used as any kind of resource that has yet to be tapped into? Do they actually provide any environmental benefits? Are they m1 comments 111 views last activity

Wouldn’t Steve and Nancy know Ash from evil dead movies and Ash would know them from stranger thingsSteve and Nancy have probably seen a few horror movies and recognise characters like Michael Myers and ash, so wouldn’t ash recognize them from possibly watching stranger things? He was around after the release of the show so he could definitely recognize them.10 comments 231 views last activity

The 4 all challenge the Entity to stop weakening them and buffing the killers for a proper fight. The Entity agrees under curiosity. Each fight is separate and everyone heals afterward, so theres no cross battle damage. The only weapons the 4 get are rocks and heavy sticks. What killers do you think the 4 could take down? (They have to fight all 4 legion members at once btw) Edit: I've seen some23 comments 411 views last activity

Looking at past tome lore I've come up with three things, the auris is an artifact that has knowledge of all creation, an omniscient artifact, which has the ability to pull all the information from infinite dimensions and sources. The entity can directly search the omniverse very efficiently, knows vigo is in its realm and plays tricks on him by directly leading vigo to false information. finally17 comments 511 views last activity

I think we've all had this thought at some point. Considering Max in Season 2 dresses as Michael for Halloween, and the guys recognise her, I don't think it's a stretch to at least assume they both know the name. Same with Bubba too, and maybe Freddy, although I'm not sure when the first Nightmare movie came out4 comments 151 views last activity

I'm not sure if anyone has tackled this idea yet but if any on has please tell me :) I have seen Manny threads talking about the idea of killers meeting or seeing each other after/before a trial but one question has not came to mind (yet again I'm not sure about this) that question being what would the 2 or 3 would do? Would they stand there in silents, would they talk, would they try to kill e13 comments 292 views last activity

Just wanna say up front, this isn't a suggestion, it's just a fun creative exercise to overcome some Writer's Block I've had lately. Nonetheless, feel free to call everything in here a pointless pile of crap. That's fine. Consider this a creative shitpost. I had this fun thought last night - How would a role reversal work in DBD and what would the new killers/survivors look like. How would the3 comments 261 views last activity
