I think The Witch could be a pretty neat addition. I've got no evidence for this, it's just what I'd love to see. Maybe even some legendary cosmetics to change Bill into different survivors too

The chapter is not based solely on season 1 and Steve gets kind of more important in the newer seasons.
also i thought Nancy was an odd choice. I thought she was pretty bland and didn’t make that much of an impact in the show.. still hoping for Barb, Robin or Joyce legendary.
I get that Joyce is a fan favourite but I don't really think she fits into dbd all that well. Picking Nancy over Robin definitely was weird though, but I suppose she's been a character from the start and Robin only came in in Season three. Also, store reasons? Nancy had a bunch of distinct outfits, along with Steve, while Robin only has her scoops uniform. Same with Jonathan, I can't really think of anything he wore that stood out, I guess other than his camera. I'm still holding out hope though that we get Robin and Jonathan cosmetics soon

I've only been playing for about a year now, so I haven't been completely burnt out with the game, but at the same time I haven't experienced any real events, and it kinda dampens my spirits. Gameplay wise, while honestly I don't think the game is in a terrible state, I do think some things need to be done. The number one thing I think is for the devs to stop looking at solely data for making changes, but also experienced people who play the game regularly, like streamers who give suggestions almost every stream. We've all seen Otzdarvas list of changes for both sides, and with his experience in the game, along with the raw data the devs use, viable changes can be made. I'm just using Otz as an example because he had a whole video about changes, but the number one thing is actually consulting the community with changes they think they need to make. Only once this is done can they start to focus on new killers and survivors. For the general health of the game, this next chapter should be delayed, so that they can work on just bringing the game up to standards. Like with the new animations, but for everything, maybe excluding maps as along with bug fixing, nerfing or buffing items and perks and everything else this could take a while. They've started to make changes to items like with the moris but it's so few and far between that it just doesn't feel significant. There isn't just one fix they can do, they need to have a massive overhaul to finally bring some life back into the game. Ite clear that the devs are overworked, making this next chapter a straight up overhaul to improve the health of the game is definitely what's needed
-
I love Iron Will. And for a while I really didn't understand why so many people ran it, what's so good about no groaning? But running this along with Quick and Quiet is so much fun for literally disappearing in the middle of a chase, and then using Head On when they finally realise the locker that's nearby
-
True, I think there at least should be an option to keep the old one of you prefer to use it. The portraits of the different survivors is nice though, I think that should maybe be a permanent change but hey, that's probably wishful thinking
-
I've only got my mains, so my only P3 killer is Legion and Nancy and Bill are the only P3 survivors. And I'm honestly not going to be prestiging any other characters. I kind of just feel like it's not worth the entire reset for one cosmetic piece. That's just me though, and I feel so naked without inner strength and iron will lmao
-
I've been waiting for this thread ngl
This would be another chapter like Ash or Bill where we wouldn't get a killer but only a single survivor, that being Shaggy Rogers in all his glory
I mean it kinda fits, he's always being chased by monsters and ghouls and ghosts, he'd be perfect for looping that Ghostface in a very familiar gaggling green ghost costume...
And why stop there? Claudette makes a perfect Velma in my opinion, and it could even be a legendary actually switches the character to Velma Dinkley.
I think his perks should fit with his cartoon counterpart. I don't have any ideas but he's got some great catchphrases and sayings associated with him that could serve as perk names. I mean, I'd definitely use a perk called Like, Zoinks! or Would You Do It For A Scooby Snack? because they sound great.
-
I like to think that Frank, Susie, Joey and Julie don’t swap their masks, and only use the ones that are specific to them, so like Julie would never use Susie Wiry Smile or Joey would never use Franks Day of the Dead one.
Also I think every member of the Legion had killed someone before the janitor, and they were all gathering the entity’s attention before they killed the janitor because that is when they became “the Legion”. To me it kinda explains why they were all taken at the same time and why they are always together between trials
-
Was playing with one other friend a couple of nights ago against a wraith on dead dawg. Got three Beamer saves, one through a window, one when he was picking up and a free hand one while he was already carrying someone to the hook. Pretty proud of them all

First off the most important thing to remember when playing any killer but especially Legion, is to be patient. The power rewards precision hits and punishes missed swings, and trust me you really don’t want to have to look at your hands for 4 seconds while the Nea who just spin you clicks her flashlight. Lunging with frenzy isn’t really a great idea either in my opinion because you’re far easier to spin, so it’s better to get a point blank hit.
Once you feel confident with your frenzy, try and identify situations where you should use it and where you’re better off just getting a hit. Obviously if you find a healthy survivor you’re almost always better off going into frenzy, but it’s not just the deep wounds you can use, you can get the information on the team and then go after the first survivor if you wished.
Its quiet meta but in my opinion, Legion can get the most out of Ruin with his power. You hit a survivor on the gen, they now have to let go and mend, all while their gen is regressing in their face. Obviously pairing Ruin with Undying is standard but don’t be afraid to experiment with other perks, like haunted grounds. Another thing, don’t be afraid of criticism because you’re running noed. Like you said you’re new and killer is punishing as hell, so for the first couple of weeks there isn’t anything wrong with it until you start to feel confident in your ability.
BBQ is good on virtually any killer so that’s always a good idea, but after you’ve chosen perks to benefit your power, you should chose perks that benefit your play style. For instance if you like the chases and think you play better when you’re actively pressuring the survivors, then Brutal Strength is a great option. Or if you prefer to sneak up on the survivors and get a very quick first hit on them, then Tinkerer might work better for you. It all comes down to identifying how you play and using the perks that play into your own personal strengths.
Add ons for most killers can really change the whole way a killers power interacts with the survivors, and for some they can do very little for actual variety and unfortunately Legion falls into that second category. But they still have some add ons worth running, the best ones probably being the cold dirt which takes about a second off your fatigue and the second being the stolen sketch book, which adds 2.4 seconds onto your frenzy. But again it boils down to how you play, like if you feel like you’re always getting at least two hits whenever you use frenzy, then the Legion pin might be a good choice. One last thing I’ll mention is the Iridescent Button, which by itself is pretty strong but combined with the right build can be nutty. If you combine this add on with terror radius perks, so for example Coulrophobia, Overwhelming Presence, Unnerving Presence and another tracking perk of your choice, you can really screw with the survivors heads.
And that’s really all there is to know about Legion. Once you find out your play style and get into a groove with them, they’ll quickly become your favourite. The only mother thing I can say is read up on the number of their power and stats, and watch some videos or streams from people playing them. Some to recommend are Otzdarva who did a 50 win streak with them, and Dowsey who has a best build series. Other than that, have fun with the edgiest of all the killers, and remember to never stop slashing!

Tbf though reporting players does next to nothing. You’re honestly better off just blocking them if you honestly don’t want to deal with them in another game, which is pretty unlikely to begin with, but it would still do more than reporting them

Talking about how a person's past can be a burden?
I think it's pretty obvious who the new killer is.
It's The Spirit's Great Great Grandma.
Or maybe even Rin's mother. I mean she got chopped up by her husband before Rin got home from school and the entity has been seen taking more than one person at a time (Legion and Nancy and Steve together). We could get a Yamaoka hat trick lol
-
It's been said here a million times but I couldn't agree more, Ormond needs to be looked at beyond a graphics update. But I'm overall optimistic that something like that will happen, with the "useless" breakable walls. In my opinion I actually think they're quite strong, if you just don't break them. I know it does nothing for the chainable tiles all over the map but it's a start, right?

The first perk ( Fast Learner ) is way too strong and would definitely be used by survive with friends as they can all communicate and separate.
For the second and third perk we don’t know the percentage of the haste status effect, although Leave it to me seems like a combination of Hope and Adrenaline, so personally I’m against this perk too.
Honestly going into this, I had those thoughts too. Thanks for being respectable in the criticism though :). Taking them into consideration, Leave it to me would only activate if it is the only haste perk in the load out, so even if you have something like breakout from Yui, it wouldn't activate. The percentage I think should be around a Hope level. But then, why take it over Hope? What do you think about adding a charge metre to it, say if you fully complete two generators, so from start to finish, you would get an endurance effect. My main idea with this was it rewards the survivor for seeking out the objective.
Fast learner does seem very broken in hindsight too, I'll give you that. So instead, how about it let's you vault windows one extra time, and when you stun a killer with a pallet drop only, you increase the stun effect by 1/1.25/1.5 seconds. And it would be countered by enduring too, making the overall stun time less.
The Haste status effect for Nothing to lose is 5%, which if I'm correct is Hope in Tier 1. I imagined pairly this with WGLF for extra bp and making protection hits more viable in play, to keep the team alive.
Fell free to make your own changes too, because I'm by no means a game dev and have one hundred percent missed a very obvious fix
-
I love them! Especially the Halloween Party ones, maybe even instead of the punch on her shirt is could be some Pustula Serum, after all she's in the realm of the entity now, she could've stumbled upon something interesting like she did with Demo and, like, the whole of Season three lmao
-
Bro be happy you can actually take away the perks from the killer, meanwhile there's nothing we can do about people forcing ds, picking themselves up with unbreakable and taking forced protection hits with bt. We've had to deal with it for way longer, stuck on the gens and ruin does nothing, or do the bones

Hey! Thanks for a comment. I'm really happy, that you like it :D. Actually My idea was, that Survivors see the Hidden Wound timer and know how many hits they are from getting downed. Also thank you one more time for commenting. If you have any other ideas, you can paste them here, and we can discuss about it! :D
Honestly I'm not exactly a game design type of person, I'm more of a art design and lore type lol. But in saying that I think I can recognise a good balance idea when I see one. What would your thoughts be on the killers getting taunts and the survivors getting more than two gestures? I'm thinking for survivors they could have a "stay here" and a "be quiet" one, and killers could have unique taunts to go with their personality. Frank and Julie could wipe the blood on their knife into a smile on the mask, like in the trailers, and Susie and Joey could both have something different, although I'm not sure what. What would you say?
-
I really love this idea, they've got the mobility they've always had but reward good players for using the power to the fullest effect. I think Legion should have an indicator for the survivors to see, to tell them that they can be downed with Feral Frenzy. Something small, I'm thinking like a red mist steaming off of their bodies, or the eyes of the mask lighting up red. Something small but still telling. Other than that I would love for this addition. They've got the same issue as clown where as long as the survivors split up and do gens there's nothing that can be done to down them. I just want the kids to get some love!

Putting devour hope on demo, and not using my portals to teleport, but just to see if the survivors are on it. If you're still trying to get the devour hope challenge for BP, use demo

isn't the statement that the killer can't meet outdated by now?
Honestly, I've got no clue lmao. There is just something in the back of my head that's saying there was a statement made about it, but I could be wrong. I think it was from an interview at an event or something like that
-
I think this was answered canonically, that the Killers can't meet each other outside of the trials, except for the Legion, who are always together (I like to imagine them all back in the Ormond Resort).
But on that note its always fun to imagine. Ghostface would probably be really comfortable around the Legion and Amanda, thinking about it they're all still pretty human, and they don't have these superpowered abilities. Pig literally just crouches, and her traps are the ones she designed and used herself. Hillbilly and Bubba, the chainsaw brothers, they'd get along well too. They're similar in their lore, and they can probably connect on a level of both feeling like outsiders from the rest of the world. It would make sense that they would seek each other out. I feel like some of the Killers physically aren't in the same grasp of the entity as the others, like Demo. I feel like they spend a lot of their time in the Upside Down, hunting and breeding. He is a wild animal, technically, and he can access the other world in the trial, so it's not out of the question that he could go there outside of the trials too. Would you think this is the same with PH? I've never played silent Hill, so honestly I have no clue how anything works in relation to that

I haven't played Zombie's since BO2 and a bit in BO3
What map does Panzer Soldet appear on?
Origins
Thinking about this, Sam could be a great killer. I mean, an all powerful child with the knowledge of eldritch forces and the voices of curruption constantly talking to her, able to telepathically control the entire horde of zombies that ravaged and destroyed the world? That'll be pretty sick

And then imagine all killers get a legendary skin by the villians in the series. Doctor gets 10000 volt ghost, Clown is Ghost Clown, Blight is The Creeper, Hag is Which McCoy, Wraith is Ghostly Gondolier, Demogorgon as The Futuristic Monster, Plague as Queen Morbidia , etc.
I love your knowledge of the Scooby Doo villains it honestly warms my heart.

I think the idea of moving the grass and having an unlimited power duration is a bit too much. Now don't get me wrong, and this is coming from someone who plays killer too, so it's not from the POV of the "Entitled Survivor", but spirit is a bit too strong. I don't think it's her power that is the issue though, because it does take genuine skill to use and catch the survivor. Equally, it takes as much skill to try and outwit her when phasing and get to a new loop. Personally I think the issue is the fact the survivor has no indication she is phasing, and this is the issue. There's no counter play to this, because there's no gameplay. Spirit, in her current state, when not just standing still, is a good killer, and by that I mean there shouldn't be any reworks or tweaks to numbers. Adding an animation to the spirit that the survivor can see would greatly balance her out. Thoughts??

Ghostface takes out his camera and snaps a picture.
For pig, I'm not sure what would be a good animation, but being able to play the billy laugh on command could be neat.
Huntress could use her finger to see how sharp the hatchet is
Love the Ghostface and Huntress ideas!! Pig would have to play a Billy laugh, or maybe take out a tape recorder, holding it in her hand for the survivor to hear, and while doing so being unable to attack. It kinda keeps with the same idea of taunting them, like "I'm confident I can catch you that I can take these few seconds to do this animation"

Id love to see killer emotes, imagine a Micheal Myers head tilt
Stuff like that is exactly what I'm talking about. For licensed killers, like Myers it would probably be pretty easy to come up with the emotes since you can take some scenes from their movies and render them in. And a head tilt is so on point for him! Another idea I had was for The Legion, as I recently rewatched the trailer for their chapter. With their knife they could wipe the blood onto their mask in the shape of a smile, just like how Frank does in the trailer, and Julie does to Frank's mask in her archive cutscene. The killers need more personality!!

I've prestiged almost every character that I have atm and it's getting boring using the exact same perks as I used for every other survivor.
I wanna try new builds, whether they're risky, safe, sneaky, bold, helpful, selfish...Give me em all!
Perks I have available:
- All general perks
- Dwight
- Meg
- Claudette
- Jake
- Nea
- Ace
- Bill
- Feng
- David
- Adam
Those are the perks I have available so try not to give me builds that require 2 or more perks that I havnt got yet.
If you can save up some shards to get Kate and Jane, and then fork out the money to get Nancy Wheeler, a fun build I use is Inner Strength, Head On, Quick & Quiet and Dance With Me. The idea is hop into a locker mid chase, heal up, then stun the killer and make a quick getaway since you leave no scratch marks

@Seiko300 said:
I'm gonna say Clown and Ghostface just because these are easily some of the most grounded and realistic characters in the game that you might actually see in real life.
Ghostface is the prime example of this, the entire point of the Scream movies was Horror movies happening in real life and this fact always scared me. That's honestly why Ghostface is one of the scariest characters in the game because it's honestly entirely feasible and plausible that this could happen. He's a psychopath that acts perfectly normal during the day and then has a field day at night murdering for fun. Obsessively stalking his individuals chartering and logging all their movements and daily schedules, and of course the classic creepy taunting phone calls and text messages which is obviously reminiscent of a real and actual stalker which if you are aware is a truly horrible, creepy, and scary experience to have to go through on its own, even if nothing violent happens.
BIG yikes.
Clown much like Ghostface is also eerily grounded. His origin story about where he comes from, a naturally athletic and strong teen with some violent and off putting tendencies at first that eventually developed into some truly dark and horrific behavior after indulging in "Drinks, junk food, [and] drugs ... to excess." So, despite already being naturally strong, he drugs his victims to secure his catch and overpower them even further. Being drugged, disoriented, running away from a huge Clown is creepy enough, especially if you put it into context. He catches you at fairs and the traveling circus, where your guard is down you're enjoying yourself and all of a sudden this guy is eyeing you from the edge of the fairgrounds. Jesus christ.
If anyone reading this is into learning about True Crime and real killers, you'd probably agree that The Clown has some striking similarities to two serial killers- John Wayne Gacey and Jeffrey Dalhmer. And before anyone says this, I'm not sympatising these horrific people and their actions, just pointing out where the devs might have gotten inspiration.
First off, and the most obvious, John Wayne Gacey was a real killer clown. It was his day job, dressing up and entertaining children, while simultaneously being wanted for serial killings. While this is I think purely thematic, Dalhmer has a lot in common with Clown. While Dalhmer was a confirmed sexual deviant and Clown is only hinted (or speculated to be), the way in which they both captured, tortured and killed their victims are eerily similar. Both hid in plain sight, acting like normal people and blending in with the crowd, then seducing them back to their living space, where both drugged their victims, but kept them alive, and even keeping pieces of them when they did murder them. Clown in his lore kept the "prettiest finger", and in his mori you can even see him doing this. Dalhmer also kept pieces of his victims for later use. This is pretty heavy but if you enjoyed this I'd highly recommend reading into it more and trying to find more similarities because personally I find it adds a level of unnerve to realise that some of these killers, who at the end of the day we're all a little detached to, are based off of real events and facts. Creepy stuff!

Going off of what the bio for Frank says here, just fyi
Frank like to think of himself as the leader, but really he's just the most outspoken, and believes himself to be when really it's Julie pulling the strings. He likes to talk to the other three, and also Ghostface, as I think they bith have very different techniques to meet the same goal; that being killing for pleasure. It's stated in the lore (and I think the cinematic too but I might be wrong), that Frank was ready to kill and the shop cleaner was just his opportunity that he was waiting for. In the Trials Frank thinks he's doing amazing and slaughtering survivors, when really he's just average. But it's the pleasure and the fun he gets out of it that keeps him getting kills
Julie is 100% the real leader. Anything she asks of Frank, he does for her, and with Susie being her best friend there's a level of trust between them, and she can get Susie to act on her behalf also. While her and Joey aren't at the level of trust as her and Susie, they still highly respect one another. I like to think between trials, they are in their old hangout spot, the Ormond Resort, and during trials they wait eagerly for their friend to get out and brag about how many kills they got. Julie always gets the best results, tied with Joey, as they both are able to think about their next moves and aren't doing this purely for the joy of killing like Frank.
Joey I think likes to brag to Frank a lot, but purely just to wind him up. Joey is very smart and knows how to play with people's emotions, for his own gain and pleasure. He's aware of Frank's anger issues and Susie's naivety, and can play with their feelings, although never in a harmful way. The survivors are a different story altogether though. He's good at predicting how they'll run and recognising techniques that they'll use against him like pallets and windows. He talks with the others a lot and not anyone else, as he can see that some of the other killers are really messed up. But he sees his friends as his friend's results and his own as his only concern and enjoys the new life the Entity gave them.
It's stated in the lore that Susie is naive and impressionable, so I think she's the youngest of the group. She did a lot of stuff to prove to herself that she fit in with the group but it was all to impress her new friends. But she grew to love causing mayhem even though she wasn't like that when she was very young, choosing to stay away from those things. Now though she loves this life, constantly being with her friends and never having to worry about anything.
One last thing, I think the reason they all suffer from the fatigue thing at the end of the frenzy is because they're all iron deficent. Anyone who has an iron deficeny can probably relate because it genuinely looks exactly like what the Legion see coming out of frenzy when you stand up too fast, or run very fast for too long (hint hint). And I mean, they're all teens from the 90s, you can't exactly expect them to be having perfect lifestyles when on Earth
-
Honestly, I think it's unlikely there is any ties to Jeff and Carl. I could be wrong but I think the fact that in Jeff's lore, he had left Ormond, only coming back when news of his father dying, but also to pick up something that was left for him by his father. In the Legion's cinematic they kill him impulsively, when in Jeff's bio it's implied that his father merely just passed, and had time enough to write a last will and testament. Honestly to me anyway it just doesn't really add up
