Hello everyone:) I'm trying to get a challenge done for the current event and I'm struggling to fully understand how the gold quality emblem works. Because I've gotten iridescent emblems for 9-10 hooks in the past but I got silver for 8 today. So I'm wondering if there are any other requirements to get the gold? I have 2 survivors that have exactly 60 perk tiers unlocked, prior to the anniversary event. And they did not receive any prestige in the PTB. Then I have bubba which has exactly 240 perk tiers unlocked (this one, all by level 3 perks). And he received level 4 prestige. So how many perks tiers do I need to unlock to guarantee a prestige? Question 1: Is the prestige update coming the same day as the anniversary update? I saw a video saying that you should wait to prestige until the cake event, to get more cakes through levels 1-50. Meaning I could hold my P2, and wait to P3 during the update. This no longer would be viable. Question 2: Will there be any rewards for P1? Or only for P3? It's when there was a blur in the distance- you looked into the distance and it was blurry creating a spooky effect. It is called Depth of Field in a movie production stand point but what was it called in dead by daylight. With the rework being tied to Prestige what happens to characters with sub T3 perk versions already? For example: Claudette is base level 50 with all shareable perks unlocked. Steve has Self-Care unlocked at T1. Hi! Quick question, i currently own every single teachable in the game, i didnt buy any through the shrine of secrets. I got them at respective levels 30, 35, 40 for everyone. When the new progression system drops, will i automatically get all those teachable perks on every character in the game? like all teachable survivor perks on every survivor and killer respectively? I believe it was called "depth of field" it was when you looked into the distance and saw blurriness creating a more horror feel to the game. I missed this and I can't seem to find it in videos because I don't think it lasted long because of the glitches it caused especially with claydettes hair being able to be seen across the map. Does anyone know how long of a ban this behaviour normally results in? 5 gens left after a DC and he decided to then slug me out and just before I bled out, forced me up. TLDR: can a hacker do the things I describe in the game, or am I just delusional/wrong? I played a match with someone who I am assuming for lack of a better explanation to be a hacker. Tried asking this in feedback and general discussion and got no response, so trying here: Most of the perks in the Developer Update note that the new effects they're getting are in addition to their existing ones. I assumed this was true of Off The Record as well, until I realized it lacked that wording in the dev post. So I noticed the other night that I have the Nightmare Edition of Dead by Daylight and when i looked it up, I found that it contained the original Stranger Things characters. I was not aware of this when I bought it, as I was sold it as a basic edition of Dead by Daylight. So, it's June 21st in 2022.... If you've had the misfortune as a survivor to be put into a game with a toxic killer with whom you'd rather not associate, it's pretty easy to suicide on the hook. If you've had the misfortune as a killer to be put into a game with a toxic SWF with whom you'd rather not associate, eat the matchmaking lock -OR- AFK (which is a reportable offense). I see options for reporting misconduct but nothing for reporting speedhackers. I have video, is there a way to get these blatant speed hackers banned? This is not "subtle hacking" that I'm talking about. I had 2 people get off the hook and still outrun me despite landing in the same spot as my Tier 3 Michael Myers. So if this prestige rework will make it so that you need p3 to get all perks tier 3 on other characters, does that mean you will have to unlock those perks again if you have not prestige’s every character? I thought it might be letting me know something was near by but even after finding an invitation I was still hearing it. Anyone know what it could have been?
