Since BHVR nerfed survivors into the ground, tunneling, camping and other toxic bullshit are out of control. Because now killers can, they do.
You have all brought this on yourselves. 90% of matches are now camping, tunneling or toxic nurse.
Now for a few days you see how pissed off survivors are and how much this behaviour has ruined the game, and you are whining like little bi*****.
Everyone knows this isn't permanent. So, stop yapping and wait for the fix and maybe think about not playing like a goddamn a**hole, so everyone can have fun.

It's just the same builds over and over with survivors. I bring stuff like Devour Hope instead of Ruin and don't run any gen slowdown perks. They act like this is some dbd tournament.
They kinda don't know what you will bring before the match.
So they must asume you will bring your "worst" and they will bring theirs.
There is no fun games anymore. Only sweat and tears. 😂

And this is at red rank, I know ranks don't matter but come on by red you have enough hours to not do this... or do you?

They are mostly newer players though. And I remember being the same in that beginning. So, I don't really blame them.

We have too many Fuc... Sorry, Ghostface killers and way too many Legions. It's getting boring.
Nurse really forces you to play totally different. "Yeah, drop the pallet b*tch, see if I care".
Nurse can be a really tough opponent and can out so much pressure on you.

I'm wondering the same. Most nurses suck. And then I play against one who always knows where I'm heading next. I'm assuming they have a pact with the devil and can read my mind. Try that maybe? 🤣

Being biased isn't a fault, nor is it a sign of close-mindedness. It just means that all your ideas are necessarily skewed by your personal values and experiences. The true test isn't where you're biased, but whether you're humble and self-aware enough to understand that implicit bias is present in every thought and opinion you have and every post or comment you make, and are able to act accordingly.
Well, if the taunt makes the killer only run after one person and he cannot get him while the others are fixing 4 gens, then I would call that a tactic too. I'm not saying it's very clever, but why should it be worse than camping? Both are not very elegant solutions, but either can be effective and work.
Killers standing in front of a dying survior and not hooking or repeatedly hitting the hooked survivor on the other hand are just plain stupid "I have the power" moves and people should be hung by their ballsack for that. 🤣

I have to add something though:
Sometimes you're in a group of survivors and you realize real quick killer is rank 20 (thx to new matchmaking).
Ppl can be real d**ks in that case which could be considered toxic. But the problem here is the matchmaking itself and can be fixed.

Well, first we must establish what is considered toxic.
Let's not forget. The killers job is to kill ppl. It's right there in the name.
People shouldn't take it personally when they are being tunnled. It's maybe the only chance for the killer to get one kill. Of course it means it was a bad match for the killer, if he has to resort to that, but that doesn't make it toxic.
And as for survivor... Well guess what their job is? Surviving. So, if you are good at looping and get the killer mad and trying to get you while others are doing gens, that is of course okay.
Another thing is endgame chat. And I'm glad it's not available on Xbox. There should be an easy way to report ppl who lash out after a match. Just a report button that creates a ticket without any further work for the user.
Everything inside a match cannot be toxic though. It's just the setup of the game that calls for certain behaviors and that is fine.
Just my two Cents on this.

I know ranks are not used anymore. That is the issue.
And my playtime as survivor says nothing about my skills as killer.
Are you even sure there is a new system? For me it seems like I'm just being matched with whomever.
The system looks for my rank, no one available after 3 minutes and goes to higher ranks.
I doubt there is a smart system checking my skills. 😂

Exactly! It was such a stupid match. I would've understood had the killer disconnected. This ruins the fun for everyone. I don't even understand how this is fun for the player who uses the hack for more than once.

I thought this was more of a constant issue on PC.
Yes, there are longer queue times. But I can wait if it means fair games.
If this is not a big issue on PC, then I don't mind crossplay.

What I find worse than these obvious cheats and hacks are those that are not so obvious.
Did the killer see everyone? Did another survivour see the killer everywhere? This can really ruin the fun.

They could've all be cheating. Maybe there is a new software that allows crossplay and not every one of them was using it so obviously.
For now I also created a ticket to provide the videos to the devs.
Either way. If this is the future of DBD on console, then I'll check out Friday the 13th again. Just kidding. I'm not that desperate. 🤣

Okay, it seems like they activated cross play. Just saw a Nea on PC run faster than Oni. She had cross play icon to her name.
She healed herself whenever she was hit without stopping. She healed herself while downed.
This is why no one wants crossplay. 😂

Sorry, pig. As stated before, there is no cheating or hacking on consoles.
Dark Souls has no crossplay either, so I'm afraid he did not cheat and was just better.
I had ppl accuse me of running speed hacks in DBD. That's on Xbox. No possible.
Ppl hate to admit they were worse than others so they assume it must be cheating. But consoles prevent that.

Being a new player I certainly don't want to give anyone the impression that just because someone dominated me means they must obviously be cheating. I know that the matchmaking is incredibly unfair as people are getting matched with people that are out of their league regardless if you're new or experienced. I just had yet to see a match like that one before. To see someone play so well with no advantages all the while having a new player rank was very, very odd.
Didn't really sound like that's what you were doing. Don't worry. You just didn't find an explanation and thought something was funny about it. Understandable. But since it's technically not possible to hack an online console game, there must be something else.

Yeah, doesn't mean they were level 20 though. If I create a new profile on my console and start the game, I'm level 20 too. Some ppl do that, cause... Well, ppl are aholes.
Of course, doesn't explain how they found you. But I think we can rule out hacking. It is curious, but hard to tell without seing some footage of the match.

The devs released the numbers. Killers were winning 65 to 80%. So, no. Game is not survivor sided.

No. Console games can never be hacked. This is only ever a problem on PCs.
You do know that legion can see all players in a certain radius if he hits someone with his power? Maybe he just saw the direction you went?
It can't be a hack. 100%.

Also, don't blame this on Survivors not being able to get the skill checks.
No one complained. Ruin was annoying, but manageable.
You can blame it on killers for using the perk in 80% of games for lack of ideas. Hence the devs had to nerf it. They will nerf all powers that are used all the time.

I'm a rank 1 killer and rank 2 survivor and ALL my queues (I played more than 25 games yesterday) lasted less than 3 mins for survivors and less than 30 secs for killer.
And yes, DC needs punishments, I agree. Lobby ditching is ok, killer is host on xbox so... Bad ping = I'm dodging, either as killer or survivor
But lobby ditching is still annoying and not so much with dedicated servers.

Many reasons. And the report doesnt matter because you weren't teaming and it required video evidence.
1. I'm 99% sure I wasn't the obsession. Usually I can tell why a killer ignores me (ds, killer perk etc.). I was just being honest that I wasn't 100% sure. But if push comes to shove I'd say I was not.
2. The game is "kill all survivors", sparing someone makes no sense
3. Possible, but I wouldn't know the challenge "let one guy live"
4. I'm playing in the red ranks and believe me I was not the one to have pity on.
Also the other survivor said he recorded the match which is two clicks on the Xbox controller to record what happened the last X minutes so, yeah, it really does matter. But thanks for sharing.

This is a small studio, a small game with a playerbase that is probably also not huge. They have limited resources and they cannot focus on everything at the same time, but have to prioritize. And the biggest playerbase (PC) is mostly priority number one. That's the way it is and makes sense for a developer.
I play on consoles myself and I do find some of the bugs frustrating. But I think they are really working hard on fixing issues. It's a slow but steady process.

Nah guys. He was actively going out if his way to ignore me after a certain point. Didn't touch me anymore. Never seen anything like that. Really weird.
I don't wanna seem paranoid, but it retrospect it seems like he was either trying to make it look like I was teaming, or he knew me.
I wish there was a way to see old match statistics and who you played with. Would love to ask them.
