The teleport takes so long that you end up using it very rarely. The more survivors that die, the even more rarely you'll use the teleport. I think you're over exaggerating its' usefulness. Most just use the ability to scare people from the gens. Besides, it's a dream, shouldn't he be able to as the dream demon?

well then... take his ability away to hit survivors that are awake. its not part of freddys power anyway. I have never in all my dbd hours.. seen such a horrible killer rework.. it was only a matter of time till gen teleporting became a thing. it needs ot be nipped in the butt right away. I still stand by what I said.. gen teleporting is too much, no matter how slow. it is the 1 and only issue I have with this rework.

  • 😑😕😵🤪

  • I don't have an issue with the rework.. bar 1 thing. who the hell thought it was a good idea to let him teleport to ANY gen. this is super strong with 2 gens and less to go. its crazy. perma 3 gen strat? I have seen a lot of things rated too OP since I started playing dbd that weren't. Watched people bicker about OP survivors OP Killers. Campers, Loopers, Tunnelers.. and I did not care.. as everyone has the right to play the way they want with what the game gives them. but gen teleporting is a step too far imo. its too strong.. or at least needs to be disabled with 2 gens to go or limited like the hag, needing to be in a certain distance. I play DBD a little over 2 years now with over 2000 hours.

So, because solo queuing sucks, SWF is fine. I love that logic.

Well, Wraith sucks, so Nurse is fine, right? No.

the only thing to me that sucks about solo queuing, as I do it 90% of the time I play survivor.. are people DCing after being downed first and if they are swf, their friends along with them. I do believe that survivors should be compensated, just as the killer, for any DC made by another survivor.. because, lets be honest... who does this DC really effect more? I just want a bit of fairness.

  • not to mention.. survivors get no points for the DCs, but the killer does... how is that fair? solo surviving is a nightmare.. and will be until DCing is punished like other online games.

  • the first perk already exists and is known as "fire up" a freddy perk

  • when I use dying light.. I will totally tunnel my obsession and use a mori

It's way faster than normal. It's cheating.
That's why it should be fixed asap.

gen tapping is much slower than just working through ruin itself

there should be hidden (NASTY) reasons I dont understand why survs use gen tapping

    please someone tell

for similar reasons Killers dribble DS users...

It's not a bug. More people are playing killer now. Even during free to play events where we just get a massive upsurge in players, people will play killer more often. But for this event specifically, you have the burst of people who want to get killer vials right away making the queue take longer in the beginning. Then you have the fact that the devs made event offerings completely useless to survivors after 30 vials, but just as useful as ever to killers. So after collecting all their vials, people who don't want to waste their bloodpoints or want to bloodpoint farming will definitely be playing killer more.

This is the biggest issues right now in this event

  • LEAVE BILLY ALONE :'(

  • I can see how money would be made from them... but also understand why they are not coming back. I also have friends who lost their Legacy without getting it back.. even-though they have the achievements to prove they reached the deadline. the least BHVR could do if they really have respect for those players is give them 1 full legacy set of their choice, as they cannot prove how many they earned.

When you hit 30 vials as a killer, do you still get the extra points for hooking on the special hook?

you get the bonus points even when your vial is full in the game as killer.. and yes, after 30/30

I have maxed survivor vials and still get the 4000 bp when someone else drains a flower. So maybe a bug for some people? I throw up the offering every game also.

Ofc you get the bonus. That's not the issue.
Issue is you yourself can't do anything about it which is dumb because killers still get the bonus for hooking.
    The devs obviously ######### up.

So people are complaining they can't drain the flowers thereby reducing the chance that another player may need it just so they can get the points? Killer only has one way to get bonus so I'm still trying to see the issue here. If you want the points and have all your vials, throw up the offering then do generators, that will help your team more then anything because they can get the flowers and the main objectives being done at the same time, you still get the points for them draining a flower.

I was honestly surprised I was getting points for other people draining the flowers, I thought it was a bug at first when the points kept popping up.

you must not have played many events in the past then :ohnoes: once a survivor put an offering up, they got the item needed plus bonus whether they finished the generator themselves or if it was another survivor.
this event should have been the same.. as in survivors juicing the plants while the juice gets evenly distributed to all survivors.... all plants should be able to be completely drained, even if vials are full for it to be fair.
survivors can of course still put up offerings... but if all players in the game have 30/30 they will get no bonus because they can't harvest the plants. not to mention.. this event is pitting survivors against each other for the juice... where past events have never done this because they all got their bonus and item once the gen was done.
On the killer side after 30/30 they can still put on the offering and get that juicy 5500 BP bonus

  • this doesn't surprise me. Killers are having easy 4ks at the moment and ranking up. survivors are farming their juice and doing no gens and depipping..

I cant play with my friends because we all have 30/30.

I have to play solo and hope someone else still needs those vials.

And Killers can just suck those Hookers 24/7 for two weeks. This is ridiculous unfair..

I cant believe no one is standing behind me on this one.

Or not enough that the devs would care.. :(

You got your 30 killer vials?

this doesn't address the fact that killers can still get bonus points after reaching their 30/30 and survivors have to hope to get them.. its just wrong and unfair.

In the summer BBQ event, we would all get extra blood points when an event generator was completed. No limitations, no drama.
What happens with this event now, when almost all survivors got their vials completed? Everybody will use an offering in hopes they get some extra bloodpoints but nobody will be able to touch the cankers so the offering becomes useless and there will be no extra bloodpoints. We are only in day 2 out of 14 and in majority of my matches the survivors can't/don't do any cankers - extra bloodpoints say bye bye.
Biggest and best event - what?

What was it made like this? Is it the devs intention, that we can't get 'a lot' of extra bloodpoints through the event? Why can't we harvest the cankers just to get the bloodpoints, forget about filling vials?

    I completely agree

  • @Terrortot said:
Its because when the vial is full, you can hook die and keep it.  I was nice all of my survivor games, feel bad for killer side.

are you joking.. feeling sorry for killers. I have seen very toxic behavior from both sides. try hard killers and DCing survivors, not to mention the survivors who let me die on hook while juicing a plant 5 feet away... I played both as killer and survivor and it is much harder for survivors to fill their vials and get their bonus xp, if any at all. It wasn't a very well thought out event. But I loved having a secondary objective as a survivor and hope it makes it in to the main game. A little more thought needs to be put in to it though.

  • I can't believe that the DEVs did not think about this. This event really wasn't thought out well. I can continue to use offerings as killer... but have to depend on others as survivor to get bonus xp :O not to mention that if the juice cant be fully extracted... no bonus xp. very disappointed, but love the cosmetics <3

  • survivors have had a change where they only get 1k points for unhooking. they only get the 500 extra points if it's a safe unhook. If they do an unsafe unhook and the survivor goes down fast again, they do not get any points towards their emblem either. survivors have been more careful unhooking since the change. I have no issues with the change because I don't camp. camping is the most boring thing to do in dbd. but yes, it should not apply if in a chase. and there are plenty of aura reading perks to locate the next survivor to chase.

  • In my privacy settings on console I have DMs set to friends only. I do it to spare myself having to see messages like this. It probably spares the peoplle who try to get nasty a ban from online play from sony too.

Change this to, the killer can grab any survivor who is within a 5M radius of an open hatch, no mater what state the survivor is in, and I would agree to this.

    yes, something like this.

I really like the new direction the game is taking. After 2 years of non stop catering to survivors, the killers finally get some love.
Keep up the good work, i love it!

I have seen the opposite tbh. since BL became a thing, Killers have been getting nice steady buffs and amazing perks. finally now pallet vacuum has been fixed too.
what have survivors gotten when you really think about it

  • I agree that certain killers need buffs and really love the trapper buffs. but this stream was just shitting all over survivors. the change to exhaustion I do not agree with at all.. it affects many perks. for the longest time now I have been watching killers get buffs, which made me happy. but these changes to survivors are just horrible. BNP.. you seriously want to call it ultra rare after this nerf lol. I do rather dislike BNPs though, but lets not kid ourselves here.. with the upcoming nerf it cannot be considered ultra rare.
SC never negatively affected me as a killer.. I never considered it OP. SB yeah I dislike it as killer but usually catch up soon enough and down them well before they get a second burst.
there is only 1 perk I want to see dealt with and that's DS
I play a good deal of both sides.

  • I think it would be nice to increase survivor BP a bit. not to killer level though.
I am against any BP purchasing though. it should be earned, not bought.

  • I think it would be nice if the add-ons for killers would be x3 for common x2 for rare and stay at 1 for ultra rare per node on the bloodweb. something down the lines of that anyways. killers do have it a little harder in the addon department... as many of us depend on the addons for our killers to be somewhat viable.

  • it does need a bit of tweaking as it is pretty strong atm. it has unnecessarily prolonged my games as killer during the ptb when I did close it. something does need a change.

  • camping is a legitimate strategy. sometimes it pays off most times it doesn't.
personally it bores me. I have used it a few times at the beginning when I was new to killing.
most killers don't even camp these days anymore, except for newer killers. there are of course those killers who do camp, but they are a minority.

I think the bigger issue is the immediate unsafe unhooking off of survivors when the killer is still in the area.
or survivors that hover around the hooked person when the killer is obviously camping, instead of doing gens.
and of course then we have the suiciders who get that little bit salty at getting camped that they don't even think of giving their team a chance.
camping wouldn't even be a thing if survivors responded to it properly.

If i get camped when playing survivor I just struggle to the end to give my team the time they need... if they are smart, they'll do gens. then GG and on to the next game.

  • at first I didn't know how to feel about the hatch shutting in the PTB, it did seem somewhat unfair as survivor DCs are very common, which leaves the rest of the survivors screwed. and there was no lack of survivor DCs in the PTB.. and we also have plenty of them in the live version. But as a Killer I also understand the frustration of hatch standoffs. mostly I'll just slap the last one and let them out so that I can move on to the next game and earn some points. I think the best way to balance the hatch would be that it can't be shut by the killer once all gens are done. that would give the survivor who did manage to fix the last gens a fair chance of escape. without the hatch, patrolling between exits is pretty easy as killer, especially if you are a billy or a nurse.
As someone who plays 50/50 I try to see it from both sides.

Before we deal with dodging, we need to deal with people purposefully deranking in order to be matched with players that aren’t as good them so they can get easy wins (I’m not talking about rank 1 down to rank 8. I’m talking about rank 1 to rank 15). It’s just not fun at all. Anyone who does this is extremely toxic in my opinion and does not deserve any respect from me at all. I know some people don’t have a lot of time to play or can’t play when the ranks reset, but I think that they are outnumbered.

As much as I hate DCs, I will say that I don’t want a leaver penalty. Wait, don’t use your pitchforks yet! I say this because it’s not fun to stay in a match that’s being held hostage or has multiple exploiters/hackers. Some people also might have to leave for a good reason, and it’s not fair to punish them. The current system BHVR has in place right now is good because it means you can leave a game that’s full of cheaters or because you need to go do something else and you won’t be punished. You have leave 30% or 40% of your games to be banned.

I think that smurfing needs to be dealt with too. If bans are based on DC %, the easy way would be to lose only one pip per DC instead of 3.. which would work well with DC% ban. I have been bullied both as killer and survivor by smurfing players when I was new. that is a real balance issue. new and weaker players should not have to deal with rank 1s who decide to derank, without consequence, to rank 15-20 for the laughs.

  • I also had FPS issues..
