They don’t respond to Blight complaints I think they think it’s their best creation. It’s not by the way it’s actually the one killer that turns new players away from this game.
I mean you might hate him but a lot of people find him one of the most fun killers to play as. Holding w as m1 killers in the mft meta is very boring.

Mandy commented last week or the week before in one of the blight threads in the feedback section, saying something along the lines that they have no plans to nerf blight or change his basekit, and also that his addons aren’t being “nerfed” per say.
I think blight will be ok, thankfully.
Fck yea, I was planning to leave they game if they nerfed blight but ill continue my 200 toxic camping/tunneling streak with him.

Booo blight!!!, Nurse supremacy!!!

I tunnel every game because I like the competitive side of dbd. It is stressful but it feels rewarding when you win. It also gives the game a faster pace. I tried not tunneling one time, but after a couple of minutes I was genuinely dying from boredom, I got so bored that my will to chase survivors almost left. The reason for that is that that game felt more like a farming simulator but instead of collecting crops you have to collect survivors. It also feels stagnating spending so much time on a single game trying to 12-hook everybody, a game with tunneling lasts about 10 minutes, and a game without it maybe 16 or 17.

To be fair.... When i have good rng, i am the one bullying i feel .... XD
Have fun while it lasts, because with every new update, a massively survivor-sided map is released. Examples include Borgo and Garden of Pain. If this continues, then the majority of maps will become hellish to play on.

This is a message to all the minority killer mains out there.
RISE UP!!! ENJOY WHAT YOU LIKE!!!
Yes, we need more M1 killers to please the survivor bully squads so they stop complaining about Blight.

People who are bad need crutches, see Blight/Nurse/Spirit mains. Survivor should get crutches too. That being said it still is overtuned, remove the Endurance and I think its fine for normal matchmaking. You want to troll post ("Discuss."), you get a troll answer.
I dont understand why playing top tier killers is regarded as a crutch.
Just because it is more difficult to get a 4k with a weak killer who isnt mechanically demanding doesnt mean that the viable killers at comp level are crutches for bad players.
Do you deem cloaking and uncloaking as wraith more skillful than using top tier killers with countless techs just because you think they are op?
I should play pig and eat 50 pallets on Gideon map without camping or tunneling to consider myself skilled at the game then.

I am a console player I have heard he is really hard to use but on keyboard and mouse he is fun and good. Would you agree with this?
As a PC player I agree, but just fun to play and good is underrated, Blight is the funnnest killer in dbd but is meant for tryhards, that why he isnt massively popular.
Chill people enjoy M1 killers more because breaking palets the entire game is more chill than trying to 4k every game.
-
Blight, I have Not played a other killer apart from him for 1 year, if the devs nerf him I uninstall.

Blight has the second best base kit in the game and the best add ons in the game, you can’t have both. He’ll be completely fine if they just tune his busted add ons.
By busted addons You mean just alch Ring and C33 or also other ones like doble speed, etc?

Every time someone says they’re gonna facecamp I’m gonna do 20 games of Blast Mine, Head On, Made for This, and Boil Over.
Every time someone says they are gonna play 20 games with Blast Mine, Head On, Mft, and Boil Over, I will play Blight with Alchemist Ring, C33 and tunnel someone out at 5 gens.

Making hooks mean something like for each different survivor hooked there is a stacking buff/debuff. But the Killer cant hook the same survivor in a row to gain the benefit. This would make Tunneling less appealing without totally butchering the play style.
It would also mean that games could last 30 minutes each as spreading hooks would be very time consuming

Let me ask again, what was the skill issue?
The skill issue is that the problem you mentioned about sweaty and toxic players can be avoided easily. Just go to low mmr where all the firndly killers that 12 hook and dont tunnel are, because alch ring blight destroyers dont belong there.

The only answer is tunnel/camp from the beginning.

It's a game. It's not that deep. Do whatever you want, no one cares
Damn, you encouraged me to use the whole potential of stbfl value and hit survivors on the hook at 30 hits per second, thank you.
-
It is more fun because the gen kick meta and infinite heal, dead hard meta was boring, I would say only playing as sweaty as possible with Blight is fun. Using stbfl to tunnel immediately is very strong. I don't recommend veteran players to return unless they want to tunnel at 5 gens and camp the entire match.

were literally supposed to do generators. Get better at killer. I see plenty of killers 4k without tunneling or camping. Saying you need survivors to not play the game to win just outs yourself as a skill issue.
Plenty of killers don't camp or tunnel and win because they're playing against potatoes or solo q. Content creators do the same because they take the game seriously because it is their income, unlike most of the player base who are bad at the game and don't take it seriously.
-
Cool story bro but I prefer hard tunneling with blight and do not care if it's skillful as the majority of my opponent's arent, Like even 4000-hour survivors should be able to beat a 400-hour blight.

They dared to try nerf Billy! Billy!!! But not even small nerf for Blight.
Why would bhvr care about the 5 billy mains, Blight is more fun and sells more skins, blight is better.

I’ll admit that Alchemist Ring needs to be ejected into the sun, but the rest of his add ons are fine. I’m of the belief that there absolutely should be some really strong killers with high skill ceilings in this game
Alchemist Ring and c33 are OP, but speed addons are not and survivors want to nerf them anyway.

I don't think it's all a blight issue. Honestly, I don't think basekit blight is that bad. Sure, a good player as blight sucks to face but most of the time it sucks is because those people normally also run his busted addons. I'd love to see how blight performs after his addons get nerfed imo. He'll still be a great killer just less obnoxious to face.
Alch ring and c33 need to be nerfed, speed addons are fine.

not sure why you quote me there... what you say has nothing to do with what I said.
What I wanted to say is that playing high tier killers reduces the anxiety because they are easier to win with.

After hooking a survivor, I leave the hook (so someone comes to rescue) and patrol the nearby area until the survivor is unhooked then I immediately return back to hook to tunnel. I'm finding it's the best strategy since when I tunnel, the unhooker often follows the hooked survvior around to protect them, so I am occupying the time of 2 survivors. The unhooker also usually gives me a free hit, which saves more time. The closer the survivor is to death hook, the more survivors will come to protect the survivor. It isn't unusual for there to be 2 protectors, so I am literally occupying the time of 3 survivors at once and also getting free hits on all of them. I still end up tunnelling the survivor to death no matter what, so I am also removing a survivor from the game, which reduces all action speeds by 25%. After I hook the survivor on death hook, there will usually be a protector survivor nearby, so I literally get to start a new chase on an injured survivor immediately.
I hardcore tunnel with alchemist ring blight, it is very effective because I can beat players with 5500 hours in the game while I have 300.

I can't for the life of me just have a normal game anymore.
Every single game I have I get paired against the FBI, the US marines, the navy seals, and the British army.
It's literally unbearable. I logged in today to have a quick chill game before doing what I needed to do and again got matched against a super swf.
Needless to say I uninstalled. This game has gone to hell.
Killer is trash. Solo queue is trash.
The only way to enjoy dbd anymore is to play swf.
Well done on killing off the casual players, BHVR
Playing doctor, a trash c tier killer instead of alch ring blight, understandable, have 0k all day.

@Halloulle said:
not exactly a killer main but I so enjoy some killer binge-ing every now and again, which results in a bit of a matchmaking rollercoaster for the first day. I usually start way out if my league with my fav killers (since rusty and needing a few matches to get back into it) - then mmr seems to often overcompensate until eventually I land in a comfortable spot. So there usually are a number of very frustrating matches in the mix.
Setting my own win conditions or giving myself perks that manage expectations in a way where I can just focus on a match helps with just being chill and not getting tilted. Like, if you run a build that's supposed to be very good at helping you win and you don't win that's extremely upsetting. But running a fun/casual build removes that win expectation for me; even as killer you're not really supposed to win if you take a chill build into a match against efficient survivors/ survs with not-chill loadouts. So I don't really feel bothered by nit winning.
I also hate when it feels like I get carried by perks and/or add-ons so that plays a role too, I guess. Especially as far es genlock/regression perks are concerned I also notice that once I got back into my main killers I don't really need them anyway, even against pretty decent survivors (I'm always amazed at just how much of a difference in skill there is between the survs I get toward the end of a killer phase and the ones I get thrown back to at the beginning of one).
The anxiety goes away when playing blight, tunneling survivors at 5 gens with alch ring and hitting them on hook, never fails.

Maybe try abusing alch ring blight and whenever they are toxic tunnel at 5 gens and hit them on hook, if not play how you want.

Nobody is forced to camp or tunnel they choose to do it.
Some people tunnel because its fun, survivors ragequit against my tryhard blight in seconds.
Spreading hooks is boring af, cant wait to play a 30 min game of 12 hooking all the noob survivors to give them a chance.

Blight is really balanced, especially with alchemist ring and blighted crow.

and dead hard, circle of healing and windows of opportunity are fine too. There are no problems with these perks. What would balance the game though is nerfing Scourge hook pain resonance. I also like the any means necessary buff it actually is useful now which brings more perk viability on the table.

Yeah i agree, blight addons are fine too, as a blight main with 300 hours in the game, beating 2760 hour survivors shows that blight is not op and needs buffs.
